‘The least conservative Liberal (and National) government in Australia’s history lost last weekend.
There was no enthusiastic move to Labor. In fact, both major parties scored woefully low first preference counts. In any country with a first-past-the-post voting system both big parties would be reeling. There’s a reason why only Australia and one small South Pacific nation uses preferential voting; it’s because it works as a protection racket for the two big parties.
The only way to show your displeasure with your own side of politics – because you can’t even stay home when there’s also compulsory voting – is to preference the other side. I did that this past Saturday, practising what I preached.
Clearly, more than a few others did too.
Now, you will not see this on the ABC or hear it from any of the Liberal ‘moderates’, but it was a very good thing having all those Teals take out the inner core of the lefty-Lib gang – Zimmerman ‘I forgot about freedom once I was elected’ Wilson, Sharma, Falinski, and yes, even Josh Frydenberg (who I’m guessing was the driving force behind pushing Scott Morrison to sign up to Net Zero and to pay the ABC all that money just before the election).
These seats were always going to leave the column for any remotely conservative party. Many may not like that fact, but it’s already happened in Canada, Britain, and America. Our voting system merely slowed it down here. The truth is that the well-off rich (and I generalise of course) now vote solidly Left – maybe because they can afford to and like to virtue-signal? They vote more like Canberra public servants than anything else.
Saturday, 21 may, 2022 Australia got a new party in as its Federal Government and that party is the Labor Party! This Labor government will be a far left leaning, climate change scamming, World Economic Forum, China groveling, Biden like government. The new PM is Albo! Watch this space for updates on how this man will change Australia and not for the good.
‘Anthony Albanese is talking up his intention to “change the country” and improve politics, as Australia’s 31st Prime Minister.
After a bristling 6 week campaign, the Labor Leader has laid out his intentions for the next 24 hours as he prepares for a crucial international summit.
‘It beggars belief. After two and a half years in which a cohort of left-leaning politicians, elite bureaucrats, over-zealous health officials and opportunistic drug manufacturers cajoled, harangued, bullied and used police brutality to force many of us into locking ourselves down for months on end in our homes, closing our children’s schools, abandoning our elderly and frail relatives to suffer alone without family affection, losing our jobs, bankrupting our businesses, trashing our investments, compromising our mental health, wearing largely pointless masks and taking unproven medical treatments frequently against our better judgement, those most responsible for the authoritarian excesses and abuses of the Covid-19 era now wish to further encourage such activities with a World Health Organisation Global Pandemic Prevention, Preparedness and Response Treaty. 194 nations, including our own, are said to intend ratifying a series of Biden administration ‘amendments’ supporting such a treaty at a special meeting of the World Health Assembly this week in Geneva.
This was brought to Australia’s notice this week on TV by the editor of this magazine and in a searing piece by the editor of our online magazine Flat White. Prime Minister Scott Morrison was quick to rubbish the story as ‘untrue’ and to insist his government would never sign up to such a treaty. Let’s hope he wins the election and keeps his word. As for if Labor wins….
If the Covid-19 pandemic did any good whatsoever, it was that it alerted many in the West to just how corrupted and compromised the major global health institutions have become. Could there be anything more disturbing than the attempt by one vaccine manufacturer to keep secret its adverse research findings for the next 75 years? A decision mercifully overturned by the courts. Future scholars will scratch their heads in disbelief at the way in which not only did governments and health bureaucrats ignore and dismiss national pandemic plans that had been in place for decades, but also the absurd way in which they kept changing official health advice.
Worse, let us never forget the WHO’s own woeful track record of mistakes and false information, not to mention its habit of cosying up to China. A habit perfected by former Marxist Dr Tedros.’https://spectator.com.au/2022/05/pandemic-treaty-sign-here/
Now, what in the world does being a queer have to do with your groceries? Well, here in Australia the grocery chain ‘Coles sacked the last of its unvaccinated staff at the beginning of this year, long after state mandates fell and other industries began allowing the so-called mavericks of the workforce back into the office. The move, along with other supermarket giants, saw thousands of Australians unceremoniously dumped, many of them single mothers or from struggling households.
‘Shop safe at Coles’ is something that looks good printed in big letters across double-page ads to those still suffering from anxiety hangovers. Just don’t ask too many questions about the health logic, given unvaccinated people can shop in the store, but not stand behind the counter.
Speaking of corporate virtue signalling.
The same company turned around this week and announced it would be offering its trans and gender-diverse employees ten extra days of paid leave for the purpose of ‘gender affirmation’. ‘Affirmation’ is a hazy term that Coles describes as ‘any process’ that relates to the act of gender affirmation including surgical, social, legal, or medical action. Leave could be granted for anything from an appointment with a lawyer through to full surgery.
Gender Affirmation Leave was timed to coincide with the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersexism, and Transphobia – one of the dozens of days and months dedicated to a sexual preference or pronouns.
Coles Chief Legal and Safety Officer, David Brewster, (who also serves as the Chair of the Pride Steering Committee), released a statement.
‘We know that we have at least 900 team members who identify as transgender or gender diverse. We need to have proper policy and education in this area so there is clear guidance around taking leave for this important transition in their life.’
Coles attached a long and bizarre ‘gender affirming’ statement that seems a little over the top for employment that largely involves stacking shelves and pushing trolleys. Its headings include ‘encouraging you to be your authentic self’ and ‘developing our Pride Team member network’ – which doesn’t sound like something employers should concern themselves with.’https://spectator.com.au/2022/05/coles-sacks-unvaccinated-staff-creates-paid-gender-affirmation-leave/
Romans 1:22,24-27 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
‘Senior Constable Chris Burson resigned from Victoria Police in April to run for the Victorian senate in the upcoming federal election.
Referring to Covid enforcement, the long-serving police officer and military veteran told Rebel News that he’s “been disappointed how things have gone the last two years”.
“This is not what I signed up for. That’s why I’ve left Victoria Police. You’re getting more and more cops leaving. For example, in my Gazette that just went out, you had 28 cops leaving and only 13 in. So you’ve had a loss of 15, and that’s just in one fortnight, and that’s happening every fortnight.”
Even though the former cop served in both Special Operations and Critical Response divisions, Burston says he was never willing to police lockdown protests.
“I was quite vocal about the fact that I wouldn’t have gone to a protest, so whether that meant they didn’t roster me or not, I don’t know. But I know plenty of police who went sick on those days because they didn’t believe in it.”
Chris Burson says he decided to run for the Victorian Senate with the Australian Values Party because he felt the federal government were missing in action through Covid.
“Every time I go somewhere, it’s because of a law written by some politician. If someone writes a law, they need to understand that at the end of that is some bloke who has to potentially risk his life to defend this paper you’ve just written”.
The Former Senior Constable lashed out at Assistant Police Commissioner Luke Cornelius for his violent rhetoric toward lockdown protesters.
“You can’t have a bloke come out, make a public statement, basically trying to start a fight with people and expect the people on the ground to roll over. If you poke the public, and then they turn up, he’s not there. He can say whatever he wants.”
The now Victorian Senate Candidate says the Australian Values Party will approach all legislation through the scope of the seven values new citizens commit to when becoming an Australian.
‘A Liberal candidates’ Federal Election campaign posters and vehicle were vandalised overnight in what has been described as a “personal” and “nasty” attack.
Graphic and sexist language was scribbled across the advertising material belonging to Zoe McKenzie, who is contesting for the Victorian seat of Flinders.
One or more perpetrators used black spray paint and wrote offensive phrases such as “liar”, “grub”, “f**k you”, and “grubby c***” on corflutes in the electorate.
A swastika was also drawn across her forehead on at least one of the posters.
Ms McKenzie’s team shared a video of her trashed campaign vehicle to her official Facebook profile which showed sexist language written on all sides of the car.
Treasurer Josh Frydenberg said it was “utterly disgraceful and unacceptable”.
“The vandalism and language are shocking. We expect in our democracy to be able to debate the issues in fair and a balanced way,” he wrote in response to the clip.
A spokesman for Ms McKenzie said the signs have been targeted and defaced across the electorate since February.
“With our campaign car being defaced overnight with the most vile language, it is now clear that there is an orchestrated campaign which goes well beyond vandalism and now includes damage to property and threatening attacks,” they said in a statement.
“It is personal, nasty and does not reflect the Peninsula community we all know and love.
“Our party and independent opponents say they want to see more women in Parliament and when they get a strong female candidate, this happens.”
SkyNews.com.au was also provided with a photograph of another Victorian Liberal candidate whose poster was defaced.
Liberal contender for the seat of Dunkley and former Survivor Australia contestant, Sharn Coombes, had her eyes scribbled out and the swastika symbol drawn across her forehead.
Dr Dvir Abramovich, Chairman of the Anti-Defamation Commission, described the rise in the use of the symbol, once used by Nazis, as “troubling” and condemned the actions.
“This is a hate crime, pure and simply and the escalating virus of Neo-Nazi vandalism has that is spreading like wildfire has to stop,” he said in a statement.
“We deplore these ugly actions for what they are: a direct assault on our democracy and our share ideals.”
He added it was an “insult” to the memory of brave Australian soldiers who sacrificed their lives in World War II when it fought Nazis.
