The theory of evolution has become a fact to most of those who claim to believe in SCIENCE! Now, it doesn’t matter that they weren’t there or that their theory isn’t observable, testable or repeatable but they spout it as FACT! For instance this article says that ‘Most of us would recognise a human brain, but what about the brain of a frog or fish? Given the vast diversity of life on Earth, there are some weird and wonderful brains out there.

Despite this, the basic plan of most vertebrate (animals with a backbone) brains is similar, consisting of three major regions: the fore-, mid- and hindbrain. But the variation in size and shape between these regions (and others) is what makes studying vertebrates so fascinating.

Wikipedia’s New Content Code

What exactly is hate speech? How inclusive is an inclusive environment? What is negative behavior in writing? Those are questions Wikipedia must have the answers to as ‘The Wikimedia Foundation, the non-profit behind the world’s biggest online encyclopedia, Wikipedia, has announced a new code of content for Wikipedia that prohibits “hate speech” and “false” information on the site and also heavily promotes identity politics.

Under the new code of conduct, Wikipedia contributors are expected to “respect the way that contributors name and describe themselves” and this includes “the use of people’s preferred gender identity using distinct names or pronouns.”

When announcing the new code of conduct, Wikimedia’s CEO Katherine Mayer focused heavily on the identity politics aspect of this policy by describing on how it will create an “inclusive environment” and reduce “negative behavior”:

“Our new universal code of conduct creates binding standards to elevate conduct on the Wikimedia projects, and empower our communities to address harassment and negative behavior across the Wikimedia movement. Through this effort, we can create a more welcoming and inclusive environment for contributors and readers, and a more representative source of knowledge for the world.”

In addition to encouraging contributors to use people’s preferred pronouns, gender identities, and more, the new policy also bans a range of “unacceptable” behaviors which include:

  • “Hounding” which is defined as “following a person across the project(s) and repeatedly critiquing their otherwise satisfactory work mainly with the intent to upset or discourage them.”
  • “Trolling” which is defined as “deliberately disrupting conversations or posting in bad-faith to intentionally provoke.”
  • “Hate speech in any form, or discriminatory language” which is defined as speech or language that is “aimed at vilifying, humiliating, inciting hatred against individuals or groups on the basis of who they are or their personal beliefs.”

Of course, all of these so-called unacceptable behaviors are based on the subjective interpretations of those enforcing the rules. Only the contributor can know the intent of their post. But if the enforcers decide that a contributor intended to act in bad-faith, disrupt, discourage, or humiliate via their posts, then they’ll face sanctions.

The code of conduct also has several new prohibitions on what the enforcers deem to be “biased, false, inaccurate or inappropriate content.” These prohibitions include a ban on “systematically manipulating content to favour specific interpretations of facts or points of view.”

Ironically, this ban on so-called false information points to one of the biggest areas for which Wikipedia is often criticized. The platform prevents certain sources from being cited which often means that the remaining sources that can be cited will favor specific interpretations or points of views.

A cursory glance of the introductory paragraph on many Wikipedia pages will also show a clear favor towards interpreting the facts to support a specific point of view. For example, the introductory paragraph for Big Tech platforms often focuses on neutral factors such as the platform’s history, functionality, and founders while the introductory paragraph for alt-tech platforms usually focuses on criticism and negative media coverage.

While these new rules claim that they’ll stamp out biased, false, and inaccurate content, they’re based on the subjective interpretation of those enforcing the rules. The Australian state of New South Wales is the home of Sydney, Australia. The present state government is supposedly a conservative one but the facts seem to prove otherwise. This government has swallowed the Climate Scam poison hook line and sinker! This government is pouring millions into non-reliable renewables such as solar and wind. Nuclear is completely off the table if the Premier has anything to do with it. HOWEVER, when one thought Victoria was the most left leaning state there was then New South sales steps up for the trophy. The NSW Treasury has forgotten what it is supposed to be about and has taken on the role of being ‘diverse’.

The Western world has gone stark raving mad! Here in Australia and New South Wales in particular the state government has been, it seems, taken over completely by leftist loony lovies.

Public Libraries here in Australia exist because people pay taxes. Now, if some of those people do not agree with something their local library is doing what is their recourse? Well, in Brisbane, Queensland a petition was made against Brisbane public libraries having Drag Queen story time. Here is how the Brisbane City Council responded.

Residents draw to the attention of Council and the Lord Mayor the controversial and divisive practice of hosting drag queen story time in our public libraries. The appropriateness of Drag Queen entertainment for children when a person, usually male, imitates and exaggerates female gender signifiers and gender roles for entertainment purposes, is highly contested and should not be a tax payer funded activity for many reasons, including: 1.The practice is highly offensive to females 2. The sexual nature of drag queen entertainment is inappropriate for children 3. Telling our kids that trans is great is highly controversial. Medical experts warn of the danger of confusing children about their biological gender when the effects of puberty blockers, cross sex hormones and surgery are known to be harmful. The use of our public libraries for such events is a divisive practice rather than inclusive.

Your petitioners therefore request that our public libraries no longer be used for drag queen story times.

Council response

Council’s libraries are welcoming, inclusive community hubs that have a range of events that reflect and support Brisbane’s diverse communities. Every family is different, and Council acknowledges this fact and celebrates our different cultures, race, sexuality, genders, and religions.

Children’s Storytime sessions provide an opportunity for the development of reading, literacy and learning skills through interactive and engaging sessions.

Drag Queen Storytime events are held in conjunction with Rainbow Families Queensland, a community organisation that provides support to families from the LGBTIQ+ community. Events are presented by performers who hold appropriate Blue Card registration. As with all library events, all children attending events are required to be accompanied by a parent or carer.

Given that all families are different, parents and carers will have different views on what activities are suitable for their own children to participate in. Council respects the decisions of parents and carers to determine which activities are suitable for their children to participate in, and therefore their decision to attend library events. Council continues to ensure that parents and carers accompany their children at any library events.

Drag Queen Storytime is one of hundreds of different events held in Council libraries each year that foster a diverse and inclusive city. Here in Australia, at least in Victoria for now, you will be fined if you are caught by the police not wearing a face mask. However, if you are Muslim in the UK attending a funeral you are ok.

The average citizen would think government was there to protect the citizen and provide certain services. Not in the Australian state of New South Wales. ‘NSW One Nation leader Mark Latham says he doesn’t see how a “sexuality led recovery” will work for the people of NSW in one of the worst recessions in history. The NSW Planning Department led by Jim Betts will on Tuesday add a new LGBTQI unit, which will join the already established harmony council, Aboriginal cultural team, and the diversity council. Mr Latham said the planning department’s diversity program was “selective diversity and inclusion policy” as it does not include or represent those battling homelessness and joblessness. “It’s inefficient, it’s unnecessary, and it shouldn’t be happening. “In (Premier Gladys Berejiklian’s) public service, it’s all about sexuality and it doesn’t serve the people of New South Wales one iota.”’ https://www.skynews.com.au/details/_6175484545001

Surveillance footage caught the alleged thief putting the items into a bag and then walking out of the store with out paying for the merchandise, which was valued at more than $200.

Maybe he’s friends with the couple who stole $1,200 worth of teeth whitening strips, or maybe he just loves to surround himself with great-smelling air.
