‘When Fu Xuanjuan saw a way to share God’s Word under the watchful eye of China’s Communist authorities, she prayerfully acted on it with help from other believers.
Her company, Shenzhen Tree of Life Technology Development, produced digital media players that contained a narrated recording of the Bible as well as sermons and hymns. The players were especially helpful to elderly Christians. But Chinese authorities discovered the devices’ content and came after those who developed them.
On July 2, 2020, Fu Xuanjuan was arrested for the production and distribution of Christian literature. Her husband, Deng Tianyong, and two other employees were also detained. After being convicted of “illegal business operation,” Fu Xuanjuan was sentenced to six years in prison. Her evangelist husband, who managed content for the digital players, received a three-year sentence. Feng Qunchao, a technician, was sentenced to 30 months in prison. And the company’s receptionist and accountant, Han Li, received an 18-month sentence and has since been released.
Fu Xuanjuan and Deng Tianyong’s adopted 14-year-old daughter and Deng Tianyong’s widowed mother have been cared for by church members since the arrests.’
‘The “you’ll eat bugs and like it” agenda is obvious and out in the open. Rarely a week goes by that we do not cover a new aspect thereof. This week’s edition comes from CNN. The channel’s new CEO, Chris Licht, signaled that the network will take a more middle-ground approach versus its traditional liberal positions since the turn of the millennium. Lucht started by firing host Brian Stelter. But it’s still CNN and it’s still mainstream media.
The network provided free advertising for “researchers” at Wonkwang University in South Korea. They presented a “meaty, savory mealworm powder seasoning” at the American Chemical Society fall meeting last week. In Hee Cho, one of said researchers, repeated all the usual talking points: “edible insects are superfoods,” “bugs are good source of protein,” etc. They hope their worm powder will “feel satisfying and familiar to consumers.” But now Klaus and company are taking matters to an even more disturbing level.
It started on September 3, 2019. Magnus Söderlund, a professor at the Stockholm School of Economics, did an interview on TV4 that day. The segment focused on “mannisko-kötts branschen,” which literally translates to “the human flesh industry.” While invoking “climate change,” Söderlund, who is also a behavioral scientist, said that human beings can be “tricked…into making decisions.” He went on to say that everyone needs to be “awake to the idea” of eating human flesh to save the environment.
Fast forward to July 23, 2022. The New York Times published an article entitled, “The Taste of Cannibalism.” The article talks about a recent strings of books, television shows and movies that makes humans “look…delicious to one another.” Granted the article isn’t as blatant as the Söderlund interview. But just like the “eat bugs” narrative started out slow and quickly accelerated this year, the same thing is likely with cannibalism. Stay tuned.’https://thecovidblog.com/2022/08/30/cannibalism-rockefeller-foundation-12-more-sudden-deaths/
May these two videos be a blessing to you as they were to me!
This is disgusting. As a man who was born and reared in Iowa the following shows just how debased Iowa has become.
‘Friday, June 17, 2022 from 4-9 PM at the Ankeny Market & Pavilion, Ankeny held the first Ankeny Pride celebration for Gay Pride. At 5 PM LGBTQ+ books were read to children by various supporters of the LGBTQ+ community. At 7 PM trans magician Mikayla Oz put on a magic show for the kids. At 8 PM they held an LGBTQ+ talent show for the kids to watch.

“Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians which is in God the Father and in the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Thessalonians 1:1)
‘It is significant that in this first verse of what may have been Paul’s first inspired epistle, he twice identified the Son of God as “the Lord Jesus Christ,” thus giving Him the honor and recognition to which He is entitled.
Paul used this “full name” of Christ at least 19 times in the brief Thessalonian epistles, as he often did in his other epistles. Likewise James called himself “a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ” (James 1:1). Jude warned against any who would deny “the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ” (Jude 1:4). Peter began his first epistle with “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Peter 1:3). John closed the last book of the Bible with the benediction “The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen” (Revelation 22:21).
In the New Testament epistles, He was also frequently called Jesus Christ, Christ Jesus, the Lord Jesus, the Lord, or simply Christ. Once He was called “the Lord Christ” (Colossians 3:24). It is significant, however, that He was never called merely by His human name “Jesus” except when the writer was referring strictly to His human incarnation. In the gospels, the name Jesus was used very often in relating His words and deeds, but never did His followers address Him as Jesus. Always when speaking to Him they addressed Him as “Lord” or “Master” (note John 13:13).
Perhaps modern Christians are too careless when they speak or sing of Him or pray to Him using only His human name. As Peter said, “God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ” (Acts 2:36). He is now our risen and glorified Lord Jesus Christ!’https://www.icr.org/article/13561/
Proverbs 14:34 Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.
‘One of the RAGBRAI events in Mason City turned a few heads. A drag show followed the Sugar Ray concert in Mason City, drawing mixed reactions.
Some individuals enjoyed the show while others from the community lamented the fact it happened.
It does not appear the show was heavily advertised based on comments on social media or through the event’s website or social media pages.
On the RAGBRAI Mason City website, concerts by Don Felder and Sugar Ray are promoted. Entertainment by 13 on Seven, Brad Morgan and Danny Grause is also listed. And there’s also entertainment at the beverage garden, but nothing is listed for a drag show.
The Iowa Standard reached out to the Mason City Administrator, a person called Aaron Burnett. We asked if the drag show in Mason City during RAGBRAI was an official event put on by the city or something else as information about the event online is scarce.
Here was Burnett’s response:
“The city of Mason City was proud to be a sponsor and support the very successful RAGBRAI Mason City overnight which hosted approximately 20,000 riders and support personnel from across the world. The city was a key sponsor and the overnight was a collaboration of many entities including hundreds of volunteers, the city of Mason City, Visit Mason City and Main Street Mason City. The goal of RAGBRAI Mason City was to provide a unique experience that welcomed all of RAGBRAI to our community and offered something for everyone to connect with during the night.
“The show closed out the night and brought people into the Plaza area, and away from the Main Stage area, to allow for teardown and cleanup after Sugar Ray’s performance.”
We asked Burnett if minors were allowed to attend the drag show. We have not received a response, but will provide an update when we hear from Burnett.’https://theiowastandard.com/38226-2/
The Ambassador may be ignorant or just doesn’t care but she should care! This smoking ceremony is a pagan ritual to ward off evil spirits! Undoubtedly she is either ignorant or doesn’t care but some Christians have given their lives to preach the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to the Australian aboriginals! The Australian aboriginal is just like you and me in that they need to know that the Bible gives us “…the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.”
The Lord Jesus said ‘Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.’ Jesus also said of Himself “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” Sadly, some “twist” God’s truth and thereby many miss the ONLY way to Heaven. The following article concerns a woman who leads First Presbyterian in Birmingham, AL https://www.fpcbham.org/projects.
The article states ‘We’ve seen a lot of scripture twisting in our day, but nothing quite like the dark arts performed by Pastrix Terry Hamilton Poore, Head of Staff at the
Crypt Church of Birmingham, Alabama, which is a PCUSA Church. Poore gained prominence when she led the fight in her state AGAINST restrictive anti-abortion laws, declaring ” The religious community needs to stand with women, work for just laws, and demonstrate respect for women’s abilities to make decisions about their own lives.”
While we typically see the story of Zacchaeus used by critical theorists and wokesters as a prooftext for reparations, Poore uses it for novel purposes. She starts off by recounting the story of Jonah and the fact that he wanted God to smite the Ninevites, comparing pro-life advocates to the mean old Jonah who just wants to see people punished, then saying Christians ought to be like Zacchaeus and give their money to women to fund their birth control and other social programs.’https://protestia.com/2022/07/20/pro-abortion-pastrix-says-stories-of-jonah-and-zacchaeus-are-proof-we-should-subsize-birth-control/
