More from Tennessee!
‘Sources tell us that Tennessee school teachers are being trained to use the preferred pronouns of students and that they must keep that knowledge hidden from parents in some cases.
Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 states that “No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.”
For 50 years the definition of sex meant biological sex. But the Biden Administration is proposing changes to Title IX that would make the definition of sex include sexual orientation and gender identity.
These changes will:
– Allow biological males to participate in girls-only sports and school activities.
– Make bathrooms, locker rooms, and overnight field trip housing available based solely on “gender identity,” not on someone’s biological sex.
– Apply sexual harassment rules to students and teachers who “misgender” another student or teacher. This means that if someone refers to someone by their biological sex (instead of their gender identity) or doesn’t use the person’s “preferred pronouns,” they will be punished for sexual harassment.
– Encourage schools to hide a student’s gender transition from their parents.
These proposed Title IX rules threaten free speech rights. By rewriting federal regulations, the Biden Education Department will punish teachers and students for exercising their right to free speech on campus.
Using the “wrong” pronoun to refer to another student could land a child or teacher in hot water, facing a possible Title IX investigation and punishment. Sources confirm to us that at least one student in a Tennessee school last year has been on the receiving end of school discipline for not using a student’s preferred pronouns.
The Defense of Freedom Institute has a portal where concerned parents and citizens can write to the Federal Department of Education about the proposed changes to Title IX.
In the checklist that Capitol Resource Institute shared with parents, one of the bullet points encouraged parents to find out their school policy on restrooms, locker rooms, and gender identity.
Metro Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) has a policy that states it is a violation of personal rights for any student, teacher, administrator or other school district employee to violate the personal rights of others which includes “intimidation, harassment/hazing, physical force or threat of physical force against all persons… motivated either in whole or in part by hostility to their real or perceived race, ethnic background, religious belief, gender (including gender identity), age, disability or sexual orientation…”

The Metro Nashville Board of Education passed a resolution last spring “affirming the physical, mental, emotional support of all students, staff, parents and stakeholders regardless of gender identity, gender expression or sexual orientation.”
MNPS also teaches about gender identity in their Lifetime Wellness Course which includes Sexual Health Education.

The Tennessee General Assembly passed HB 529 last year which mandates that parents be informed at least 30 days before any sexual orientation or gender identity curriculum is presented to students as part of a family life program or sex education program. Parents may examine the instructional materials and may excuse the student from any portion of the curriculum or from the program entirely without the student being penalized for grading purposes.’https://tennesseeconservativenews.com/tennessee-school-teachers-being-trained-to-use-preferred-pronouns-of-students-due-to-proposed-title-ix-changes/
‘According to sources, Chattanooga Moms for Social Justice in partnership with the Hamilton County Democratic Party advertised an event called Cookout the Vote which raised concerns that the organizations may be violating a 2020 Tennessee code that prohibits bribing voters.
The event was scheduled for the evening of Thursday, July 28th, at Brainerd Recreational Center in Chattanooga, TN. The original post that was later deleted (but archived here) contained an image with the following text:
Early Vote and Get Dinner On Us!
Join the Chattanooga Moms for Social Justice and the Hamilton County Democratic Party to COOKOUT THE VOTE!
Bring your “I voted” sticker (or just tell us you voted – we’ll believe you!) and get a free hot dog and chips!

Citizens of Hamilton County who saw the post on social media wondered if it was legal to feed voters as a reward for voting and have reported it to the FBI. Lauren Topping, attorney for the Bureau of Ethics and Campaign Finance, was also contacted and confirmed that it was a criminal matter and that it needed to be reported to the local District Attorney.
Our sources confirm that an email was also sent to Secretary of State Tre Hargett’s office and he responded with the statues and advised concerned citizens to contact the FBI and the DA.
The event was later labeled as a community cookout by both the Hamilton County Democratic Party and Moms for Social Justice (MSJ.)

Chattanooga Moms for Social Justice, depending on their non-profit designation status, may engage in political campaigns (provided that such activities are not the organization’s primary activity) or be banned from it completely. However, regardless of their non-profit status, they are still banned from bribing voters. Violating this prohibition may result in revocation of their tax-exempt status.
The Tennessee Conservative is awaiting confirmation of their non-profit designation status and will update as the information becomes available.
The group has several social media posts supporting Jill Black for school board in district 11 who is running as a Democrat.
A look at their Facebook page clearly shows their bias.

‘Following the success of suppression experiments, the Silicon Valley giant has committed to forcing political content, and current events off Facebook.
In a July 2022 update to information first published in February, 2021, Meta declared that they were ‘reducing the amount of political content people experience in their Feed.’
Powering the embargo, Meta said it will ‘place less emphasis on likes and shares for politics’ related material.
The brief update did not explain what it considers to be political, only that ‘tests have concluded and demonstrated’ that the mechanism ‘is an effective way to reduce’ political commentary on its user’s social media news feeds.
Part of the mechanism includes ranking political content.
Exemptions will include ‘organisations like the WHO, CDC,’ and UN, as well as ‘government agencies and services.’
Last year, CNET clarified Meta’s reasoning behind the shadow-ban-on-steroids manoeuvre, stating that Meta wanted to move away from news and politics, towards more ‘family and friends’ content.
Meta’s new hard-line policing of politics and news could also see a renewed focus on removing accounts, and pages, which distribute information about news, and politics.
Consequently, CNET explained, ‘publishers could see their traffic impacted.’
This helps to explain Meta’s unexplained, suspension of Caldron Pool’s editor Ben Davis from Facebook, and its unchallengeable ban of Caldron Pool from Instagram.
So far, Meta has not issued a guarantee that its Facebook filtering system will be as inclusive and intolerant of both sides of the political divide.
Based solely upon experiences (see here, here, here, here, here, and here) Facebook’s so-called “independent fact-checkers” appear to have been handed a licence to shoot-first, and maybe allow the victim to ask questions later.
Reporting on Meta’s 2021 experiments, the New York Times quipped: ‘after inflaming political discourse around the globe, Facebook is trying to turn down the temperature.’
Defending the delete button, NYT quoted Meta CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, as stating, “One of the top pieces of feedback we’re hearing from our community right now is that people don’t want politics and fighting to take over their experience on our services.”
The 2021 NYT piece also said, ‘it’s unclear how Facebook’s algorithm will define political content.’
Criticisms of Facebook’s filtering are not new, as are criticisms of Facebook’s blatant censorship.
Criticizing Meta’s new automated mute and minimize button, House of Representatives Republican leader, Kevin McCarthy spoke to the problem of encouraging ignorance instead of information, noting on Twitter, “Facebook made sure no one saw the Hunter Biden laptop story before the 2020 election.”
McCarthy added, “But now that America has record inflation, rising crime, & a border crisis—all as a result of Dem policies—Facebook is shutting down more “political content” to hide the truth from Americans.”
While it’s true Meta’s plans date back to early 2021, McCarthy has a point.
An increasing number of American voters are losing patience with the “Build Back Better” Biden/Harris circus burning down the United States, and they will use the mid-term elections to vent their frustrations.
If unhindered by the Democrat Deus Ex Machina, which saw Biden take a mysterious midnight lead over Trump in 2020, the mid-terms are likely to end decades of Democrat dominance over both the social, and political aspects of life in the United States.
The unravelling of the January 6 “insurrection” show trials, along with the dwindling power of the racism and abortion cards, means the Democrats are not squeezing as much emotional capital out of them as they once did.
This would make any plugged-in career Democrat looking for a win, desperate.
It would be naïve not to suspect that Meta – who has played the fiddle for Congressional Leftists before – has been called in to save the Dems from what looks likely to be a devastating election defeat.’https://caldronpool.com/facebook-announces-restrictions-on-political-content-and-current-events/
‘Next to your soul, time is the most precious thing you have. Wasting it is your most extravagant and costly expenditure. There is too much talk of killing time and in doing so, you commit suicide.
The future is somewhere everyone arrives at the universal rate of sixty minutes an hour, twenty-four hours per day and it does not depend on what we do or where we live, or whether we are sincere, nor does it have anything to do with our education, status, or money. Time is always uniform, universal, and utilitarian. It sometimes seems to fly like a bird and at other times seems to crawl like an exhausted worm.
We begin life with a cry and end it with a groan and the cry and the groan are not far apart. Life is like a story that is told—a good story, a bad story— of success or failure. Each year is a chapter in that story. You are the author. You determine whether it is a success or failure. As you look back on each chapter of your life, it is folly to blame anyone but yourself.
With the birth of every person, he or she is given an unknown number of life’s coins—time to use as he wills. It’s all you have and only you decide how it will be spent. And it will be spent since it is impossible to hoard time. Since you don’t know the amount of the coins, you must spend them wisely and for sure, don’t let others spend your time!
When I was elected a member of the Indiana House of Representatives, I also continued as Administrator of the Indianapolis Baptist Academy, a Christian school of 620 students, Pre-K through 12th grade. I was also a consultant to many Christian schools in the Midwest and Canada. Obviously, I had to use my time wisely. Frequently, a good friend would “drop by” my school office for a chat, and it got to where it was a very delicate problem. He was a good friend whom I greatly respected and would never consider hurting. However, I had to let him know that I would have to limit our chats at least until school was out for the summer. There was too much involved to let him control my limited time.
You would not permit another person to control your bank account so why would you permit another person to control your time which is far more valuable than money?
The bad news is time flies but that’s no problem if you are at the controls; however, most people are flying through life blindly not knowing where they are going with no destination in mind. They waste time and don’t realize that time equals life; therefore, if you waste your time, you waste your life, but if you control your time, you control your life.
Charles Dickens opened his classic 1859 novel A Tale of Two Cities with, “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.” however, it was the only time they had. Same with you and me.
We must face each day unafraid with confidence and determination. Time must be used, not misused or abused. If you don’t use time wisely, you will stand on a cold December morning amid the sharp stubble of a reaped wheat field crying, “The harvest is past, the harvest is past” and your life will have slipped away.
Harvey Mackay declared, “Time is free, but it’s priceless. You can’t own it, but you can use it. You can’t keep it, but you can spend it. Once you’ve lost it you can never get it back.”
Napoleon appreciated the value of time when the sun was sinking upon Waterloo. He thought if he had a little more time his military fortunes would be retrieved. His advisors saw him point to the sinking sun and heard him say, “What would I not give to be this day possessed of the power of Joshua….” Joshua performed a miracle and caused the sun to stand still giving Israel the military victory. Napoleon thought a little more time would give him victory.
Napoleon was frustrated because time continues and what we want, pray for, or do cannot change that fact barring a biblical miracle. Time and tide wait for no man, but time always seems to stand still for some women once they celebrate their 30th birthday. Well, it stands still in their minds, but mirrors don’t lie. Humans should be nearly as honest as mirrors.
Voltaire, the blatant French infidel, appreciated the value of time at least when dying. While living, he wrote some miserable chapters of his life. On his death bed, he said to his doctor: ‘I am abandoned by God and man! I will give you half of what I am worth if you will give me six months’ life.” When told that he could not live six weeks, he burst into tears and said, “Then I shall go to hell, and you will go with me. O Christ! O Jesus Christ!”
He discovered too late that time is what he wanted most, but what he used unwisely during his debauched, excessive, and careless life.
John Wesley appreciated the value of time when he stood on his steps waiting for a carriage that was ten minutes late. As it approached, he said, “I have lost ten minutes forever.” He realized that time once lost is gone forever. It is better late than never, but it is better to never be late since you are taking precious time from another person.
Time should be used for things that will outlast time. Now is the only time we have, so live, love, and laugh, and don’t place faith in tomorrow for the clock may then be still. You can’t have a better tomorrow if you are always thinking about yesterday.
The years flip by like the chapters of a book until we each come to the final chapter. We should live each week as if it is our last for it may well be.
One day, the final century will arrive, and then will come the last decade, and then the final years, and the final months, and the final day.
Like small drops of water and little grains of sand,
Make the mighty ocean and the pleasant land.
So, the little moments, humble though they be,
Make the mighty ages of eternity. (Julia A.F. Carney)
The Angel of God, descending from the throne will put one foot in the surf of the sea and the other on the sand and cry to the nations of the world: “that there should be time no longer.” The last Spring will swing its censer of apple blossoms, and the last Winter will bank its snows. The last sunset will burn like a California forest fire and the last morning radiate the hills. The clocks will strike their last hour, and the watches will tick their last second. Time has stopped and eternity has begun.
You will never have this day with your children again. Tomorrow, they will be a little older than they were today. This day is a gift. Breathe and notice. Smell and touch them. Study their faces and little feet and pay attention. No matter how much time passes, no matter what takes place in the interim, there are some things we can never assign to oblivion; we can never rub precious memories away nor should we desire to do so.
Your spouse that you took as a young person may be stooped, tired, sickly, and wrinkled and the romance may be subdued but love, respect, and appreciation are expressed with a touch of the hand. Young love is usually explosive but mature love is far more expressive and far exceeds the much-touted young love.
I found in my notes the rhyme I have used for decades that makes the point of time’s importance:
The clock of life is wound but once, and no man has the power
to tell just when the hands will stop at late or early hour.
To lose one’s wealth is sad indeed, to lose one’s health is more,
to lose one’s soul is such a loss that no man can restore.
We only have the present as our own; so live, love, laugh, and toil with a will—place no faith in tomorrow.
We peruse the past only to learn from it; we cannot make any changes. We can look and anticipate tomorrow and determine to live that day as if it will be our last. And it well may be.’https://donboys.cstnews.com/are-you-using-your-precious-gift-of-time-wisely
The video that follows is on YouTube so not sure how long it will stay as it doesn’t fit the Left’s narrative!
‘STORY AT-A-GLANCE
- For years, Ukraine was recognized as one of the most, if not “the” most, corrupt nation in Europe. It held on to that reputation all the way up to the day Russia invaded it, at which point media worldwide suddenly started rewriting history
- A few days after firing several top officials, Zelensky also issued a blacklist of American “pro-Russian propagandists,” which includes Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky, former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, D-Hawaii, and independent journalist Glenn Greenwald
- After receiving billions of dollars from American taxpayers, Zelensky now wants to silence American politicians and journalists who question government’s use of funds and America’s continued involvement in the Ukraine conflict — a move that raises questions about Ukraine being a bastion of democracy and freedom
- U.S. aid to Ukraine may be a corrupt scheme to steal taxpayer funds, launder the money through Ukraine, and then funnel the money back into the hands of the transnational security elite
- Another angle that can help explain U.S. support of Ukraine’s authoritarian regime is that we have a number of biolabs in Ukraine, the purposes of which the U.S. government is keen to obscure. Russia claims it will release a comprehensive report before U.S. midterms detailing how top Democrats facilitated illegal biowarfare research in Ukraine, in collaboration with Big Pharma, which in turn funneled massive campaign contributions back to Democrats.’https://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2022/08/06/ukraine-war-biowarfare-and-theft.aspx?ui=5a05e186fc85b30f55c28204f849862c04192d97b134e516f76782809875c086&sd=20211124&cid_source=dnl&cid_medium=email&cid_content=art1ReadMore&cid=20220806_HL2&mid=DM1221463&rid=1568565469
Boy, am I glad I am old. When I grew up in Iowa none of this Wokeness was around!
‘Parents Defending Education filed a lawsuit in U.S. District Court against the Linn-Mar Community School District on Aug. 2. Defendants also include the superintendent and members of the Linn-Mar School Board.
The lawsuit is a result of Linn-Mar’s policy of allowing students to create “gender support plans” without parental knowledge or consent.
The lawsuit says Linn-Mar is “flouting” constitutional guarantees that parents have a constitutional liberty interest in the care, custody and control of their children and that students do not abandon their First Amendment rights at the schoolhouse gate.
The policy allows school officials to work with students as young as seventh grade to create such plans for gender transition without parental involvement. It also forces peers to acknowledge preferred gender identities of classmates.
Per the lawsuit, the district can:
*require all employees and students to address the child by a new name;
*require all employees and students to address the child by a new pronoun;
*have the child’s name changed on numerous government documents, including identification cards, yearbooks and diplomas;
*allow the child to use the restrooms, locker rooms and changing facilities that correspond with the child’s gender identity;
*allow the child to participate in PE classes, intramural sports, clubs and other events that correspond with the child’s gender identity;
*allow the child to room with other students who share the child’s gender identity.
“These actions can happen without any knowledge or input from the child’s parents,” the lawsuit states. “Instead, these decisions will be made solely by the child and ‘school administrators and/or school counselors.’”
The lawsuit states the district will withhold the information even if it is specifically requested by parents.’https://theiowastandard.com/parents-sue-linn-mar-over-secret-gender-support-plans-for-students-as-young-as-seventh-grade/
