Joe Biden will have a lot to answer for when he stands before the Creator!
John 1:5 ¶ And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
John 8:12 ¶ Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
‘It is a harsh but undeniable truth that the majority of what calls itself the Church in the modern world is nothing more than a shallow facade, a shell of its former self. Charles Spurgeon, one of the greatest theologians and preachers of the past, had the foresight to recognize this disturbing trend even in his own lifetime. He famously declared, “A time will come when instead of shepherds feeding the sheep, the church will have clowns entertaining the goats!”
Tragically, Spurgeon’s prediction has become a reality. As one looks out at the landscape of the contemporary Church, it is nearly impossible to find any semblance of genuine faith or spiritual depth. Instead, one is confronted with an endless parade of superficial and shallow antics, designed to titillate the senses and distract from the emptiness within.
A recent spectacle at the Center for Hope, a United Methodist church in Wintersville, Ohio, where a couple sang a trite and manipulative cover of “Eye of the Tiger,” is just one example of the degradation and degeneration that plagues the modern Church. It is a damning indictment of our spiritual state that we have become so enamored with cheap thrills and vacuous entertainment rather than seeking the nourishment of the soul and the timeless wisdom of the divine through His word.
Below are some of the altered lyrics the couple sang that were overly cheesy and focused on charismatic self-help themes:
Before I was a Christian, Something was missin,
felt a little distant, dark resistant,
made a decision, got a new vision,
wrote my goals yeah wrote my mission,
BC I was aimlessly walkin
then one day I heard the voice of God talkin,
rise up child to the enemy mockin’,
prayer is your weapon pray without stoppin’‘https://disntr.com/2023/01/05/church-performs-cringworthy-rap-edition-of-eye-of-the-tiger/
There are a lot of religious teachers I have never heard of and Kevin Young was one of them until now.
‘Kevin Young, an up-and-coming false teacher among Evangeleftists, regularly uses progressive talking points to advocate for radical anti-biblical positions. Young believes that Sodom and Gomorrah’s destruction was not related to sodomy but rather due to the lack of hospitality. Such scripture twisting has led to such bad conclusions as the idea that Jesus and Paul were proponents of “Gender Fluidity”.’https://protestia.substack.com/p/evangeleftist-kevin-young-tells-bible
More on Kevin may be found at https://christianresearchnetwork.org/2022/12/10/a-new-false-prophet-is-gaining-popularity-among-us-his-name-is-dr-kevin-m-young/
Kevin’s personal website is https://kmyoung.com/ and also at https://kevinyoung.substack.com/
Young lists Cedarville University and Dallas seminary as schools he has attend or graduated from but whether they applaud his teachings or not is not known by this blogger.
From what I have read of his teachings it is best to stay as far away from Kevin Young and his teachings.
2Corinthians 6:11 ¶ O ye Corinthians, our mouth is open unto you, our heart is enlarged. 12 Ye are not straitened in us, but ye are straitened in your own bowels.13 Now for a recompence in the same, (I speak as unto my children,) be ye also enlarged.
14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
It is no surprise that society is ant-god but one would think a Christian denomination wouldn’t be. Well, think again.
‘4. The Episcopal Church drops gendered pronouns for God
An Episcopal Church resolution in 2018 called upon the denomination’s General Convention to “avoid the use of gendered pronouns for God,” with an amended resolution later calling on Episcopalians to “utilize expansive language for God from the rich sources of feminine, masculine, and non-binary imagery for God found in Scripture and tradition and, when possible, to avoid the use of gendered pronouns for God.”
Episcopal News Service, the denomination’s official mouthpiece, later rebuffed widespread criticism of the move and painted the legislative effort as expansive rather than reductive.’https://www.christianpost.com/news/stanford-adds-american-to-its-list-of-harmful-language.html?page=5
‘”God didn’t talk in person to His creation anymore after the Fall in Genesis 3.”
Hearing my professor say this, in his Unity of the Bible course, wouldn’t have been so shocking if it hadn’t happened in Fuller Seminary, which was once considered one of the most conservative seminaries in the country.
As we all know, God spoke directly to Cain in the very next chapter, Genesis 4! But this professor never changed his notes to match the Bible. His mind was made up.

The professor was Dan Fuller, son of the founder, Charles E. Fuller (whose preaching had led to Jack Chick’s salvation).
At Fuller, it wasn’t long before I found myself questioning everything I had believed about God and the Bible. We were frequently challenged to think differently and question our currently held beliefs. I think you will be quite surprised by what other Fuller Bible “scholars” believed.
This is Paul Jewett. He taught us that Adam didn’t find a companion until he looked and saw one of the apes. He said, and I quote, “That one over there. I think it’s something in the eyes.” So Dr. Jewett, this champion of women as pastors, taught that the first woman was literally an ape.
This is Dr. Ralph P. Martin. He changed the meaning of a couple of Greek words in Acts 1 to make it as if Luke and Acts were written in the 2nd century, contradicting the Bible, which says Luke was an eyewitness.
This is Dr. Lewis B. Smedes. Like a confrontational talk-show host, he would try to tear down each class member’s faith in the 10 Commandments. He’d arrange us in a circle and make up tear-jerking scenarios, where breaking a commandment seemed like the only thing you could do, to solve the problem he made up. And when someone finally emotionally broke down in class, he would say in front of the others, “So you don’t really believe in that commandment, do you?” He took pleasure in tearing people’s faith into shreds.
These are Drs. Hubbard, LaSor and Bush. They wrote an Old Testament Introduction text that said Ezekiel was a reformer who wanted to make a bigger Jerusalem temple. But alas, his plans didn’t work out. (That’s Ezekiel 40-48). They said that those chapters were simply Ezekiel’s wish-fulfillment dream, not from God. So they believed the Bible was written by man, not inspired by God.
Dr. Bob Schaper, my homiletics professor, said two things I still remember, almost word-for-word: “If we had a Polaroid camera, we would not have seen God forming man of the dust of the ground and breathing into his nostrils the breath of life.” And “If we had a Polaroid camera, we would not have seen Jesus ascend to heaven. ‘Heaven isn’t up.’” And nobody questioned it! Yet Acts 1 plainly says Jesus “went up” before their eyes, while they watched. But Dr. Schaper never let the facts get in the way of his beliefs.
Oh, and one more thing. All the professors here, as far as they had said and I was told, were evolutionists. They thought creationism was a fairy tale, and that Genesis 1-11 was just poetry.
This is who trained thousands of present pastors and professors when they went to Fuller seminary, as I did. And they are only the tip of the iceberg.
Listening to my professors talk, was like dissecting dead things. These professors were perfectly happy to pick up the dead and rotting corpses of supposedly ancient Bible texts, cut out what they wanted, throw the rest away, and sort of “Frankenstein-together” a Bible out of the rotten remains of whatever they found.
But God’s words never died. They are living! The Bible’s words are “quick” —and they are powerful. They change lives.
“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart” (Hebrews 4:12).
“Quick” means “alive.” God’s words are quick and powerful, not dead and powerless.
“Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?” (Jeremiah 23:29). God’s word burns and breaks whatever God wants burnt and broken. That’s powerful.
In short, God’s words are an extension of God. They are powerful, like God. They do what God wants, when God wants, how God wants. God’s words are alive. When I approach HIS Book I can find out what my heavenly Father thinks, what He wants, and what will make Him happy.
The Bible is not like any other book. It is God’s Book! But my professors treated their own words as if they were more important than God’s words. And they taught the sons and daughters entrusted to them to doubt the Bible and trust them.
There is a solution. You can inoculate your sons and daughters against these kinds of faith-destroying professors. Teach them to trust the preserved words of the living God, in English, the King James Bible. As far as these seminaries, “let the dead bury their dead” (Luke 9:60).’https://www.chick.com/information/article?id=Seminary-Professors
‘God made man, but men also make their own god or gods. Only one God made man, but men have made many gods. The Bible also talks about this, listing names of various fictional gods invented by men. Among these are
Asherah, Astarte, Astaroth, Baal, Chemosh, Inanna, Marduk, and Moloch. There is a reason the first of the ten commandments (Exodus 20:3) says, “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.”
Men make-up gods. The Bible shows that men make up separate gods, very often regional ones, who represent a local people. Since the completion of scripture, men made up other gods, very often representing separate religions. Among these are Allah, Brahma, Eshwara, Krishna, Shakti, Shiva, The Tao, and Vishu. Roman and Greek mythology presented Jupiter and Zeus.
Perhaps something more sinister than different gods is using the biblical names for God, except with a different one. God is more than a name. Many of you reading know that sects in Christianity have different beliefs about who God is. They all use the same designations. For instance, they might say, “Holy Spirit,” but they mean an active force in the world, not a Person. Joseph Smith, first prophet of LDS, taught that God was once a man on another planet before being exalted to Godhood.
Professors of Christianity today conform a God in their imaginations to their own liking. In Colossians 3:5, the Apostle Paul wrote, “Mortify . . . covetousness, which is idolatry.” Their God has the same name as the biblical God. So does Jesus.
Instead of abstaining from lust, professing believers make up a God who permits it or wants it. He desires it in worship. This is another way of changing “the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image like to corruptible man” (Romans 1:23).
Peter wrote in 1 Peter 1:16, “Be ye holy, for I am holy.” True saints are a “holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ” (1 Peter 2:5).’https://kentbrandenburg.com/2022/05/09/the-true-god-versus-a-made-up-one/
‘A recent worship service co-hosted by Duke Divinity School and the Duke Divinity Pride student organization invited students to praise the “great queer one.”
“We want to affirm everyone to be who they truly are,” second year Master of Divinity student Caroline Camp began. “To step into the holy one’s fire that burns away all that says we are not good enough and refines us by the Pentecostal fire to be who exactly the great queer one calls us to be. Let the spirit move you today, lift your hands and voices and dance in whatever way is most freeing to you.”
The one-hour March 22 “service of word” took place in Goodson Chapel, described as the center of worship life at Duke Divinity School. A video of the event on YouTube shows several dozen in attendance.
Duke Divinity School and Duke Divinity Pride did not respond to requests for comment from The College Fix.
Camp, in her opening prayer, praised a God she described as “strange one, fabulous one, fluid and ever becoming one.”’https://www.thecollegefix.com/duke-divinity-school-holds-worship-service-to-the-great-queer-one/
Matthew 15:14 Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.
‘Over the weekend, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America became the first mainline Protestant denomination to elect a transgender bishop.
The Rev. Dr. Megan Rohrer, who was born female but now identifies as male, using the pronouns “he” and “they,” was elected Saturday, May 8, to serve as bishop of the Sierra Pacific Synod of the ELCA.
Rohrer was approved by 209 votes, barely surpassing the Rev. Jeff Johnson, pastor of University Lutheran Chapel of Berkeley, who received 207 votes, according to a press release from the denomination.
The transgender pastor, currently leading Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in San Francisco, will be installed as bishop Sept. 11 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Walnut Creek, California.
Rohrer has made news before. In 2018, the minister was featured in Cosmopolitan. Rohrer, who identified solely as “they” at the time, said, “I haven’t really figured out how I want to have my body in the rest of my life.”’https://www.faithwire.com/2021/05/14/protestant-denomination-elects-first-transgender-bishop-who-celebrates-dismantling-theology/?utm_source=cbn&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=news-eu-faithwire&utm_content=20210514-2341183&inid=5f29ebc0-7f5b-eb11-b823-005056af0da1
There is NOTHING Evangelical about the ELCA but it is certainly an example of apostasy.
Acts 17:26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth,
The following seems to validate the fact that Princeton and other schools like it have professors that know not the Lord Jesus and His Word. The Communists know their manifesto but pretend make-believe Christian apostates have not a clue what the Bible has to say! The WOKE folk at ‘The Princeton Theological Seminary segregated participants in its mandatory racial bias training by race, according to video materials obtained by Young America’s Foundation.
The training, led by Laurie Carlsson and Dr. Michelle Majors, offered three separate spaces for students and faculty to participate: A “white-only space” to “grapple with our whiteness and how we’ve been socialized, in a way that does not harm our colleagues and co-students of color,” a separate group “only open to students who identify as Black, Indigenous, or a person of color,” and a group for participants “uncomfortable with either of these scenarios.”
The segregated groups are designed to “[create] safety and support while addressing the personal institutional challenges of becoming an anti-racist institution,” Majors said during the presentation.
According to materials obtained by YAF, Director of Student Life Programs Yeda Walker at one point suggests that professors go easier on minorities in class.’ https://www.thecollegefix.com/princeton-department-conducts-racially-segregated-mandatory-racial-bias-training-report/
Praise the Lord He kept me from attending such schools with these apostates supposedly acting as Christian teachers. Schools like this only produce more apostates who will lead more souls to hell!
