Several years ago I posted an article concerning Kanakuk, a prominent Christian camp in southwest Missouri https://kanakukministries.org/. I do not know personally anyone who has attended this camp or is employed by this camp. However, I was with a mission organization that hid a pedophile medical doctor on the mission field for many years so these things do occur. There is definitely a need for “Christian” organizations to be watchful and transparent!
