It is no surprise that society is ant-god but one would think a Christian denomination wouldn’t be. Well, think again.
‘4. The Episcopal Church drops gendered pronouns for God
An Episcopal Church resolution in 2018 called upon the denomination’s General Convention to “avoid the use of gendered pronouns for God,” with an amended resolution later calling on Episcopalians to “utilize expansive language for God from the rich sources of feminine, masculine, and non-binary imagery for God found in Scripture and tradition and, when possible, to avoid the use of gendered pronouns for God.”
Episcopal News Service, the denomination’s official mouthpiece, later rebuffed widespread criticism of the move and painted the legislative effort as expansive rather than reductive.’https://www.christianpost.com/news/stanford-adds-american-to-its-list-of-harmful-language.html?page=5
‘Welcome to Harvard!
“Fatphobia” and “cisheterosexism” perpetuate “violence.” “Using the wrong pronouns” constitutes “abuse.” And “any words used to lower a person’s self-worth” are “Verbal Abuse.” Those are just a handful of the things the school told all undergraduate students in a mandatory Title IX training session, according to materials reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon.
The online training, which all undergraduates were required to complete in order to enroll in courses, includes a “Power and Control Wheel” to help students identify “harmful” conduct. Outside the wheel are attitudes that “contribute to an environment that perpetuates violence,” a voiceover from the training states, including “sizeism and fatphobia,” “cisheterosexism,” “racism,” “transphobia,” “ageism,” and “ableism.”
Inside the wheel are behaviors that the school says constitute “abuse” and could violate its Title IX policies. “We all have an essential role to play in creating a community that cultivates gender equity and inclusion,” Harvard College dean Rakesh Khurana told students in a video introducing the training. “Completing this course is a critical step in establishing a shared understanding of the values here at Harvard College.”‘https://freebeacon.com/campus/harvard-tells-students-using-wrong-pronouns-constitutes-abuse/
More from Tennessee!
‘Sources tell us that Tennessee school teachers are being trained to use the preferred pronouns of students and that they must keep that knowledge hidden from parents in some cases.
Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 states that “No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.”
For 50 years the definition of sex meant biological sex. But the Biden Administration is proposing changes to Title IX that would make the definition of sex include sexual orientation and gender identity.
These changes will:
– Allow biological males to participate in girls-only sports and school activities.
– Make bathrooms, locker rooms, and overnight field trip housing available based solely on “gender identity,” not on someone’s biological sex.
– Apply sexual harassment rules to students and teachers who “misgender” another student or teacher. This means that if someone refers to someone by their biological sex (instead of their gender identity) or doesn’t use the person’s “preferred pronouns,” they will be punished for sexual harassment.
– Encourage schools to hide a student’s gender transition from their parents.
These proposed Title IX rules threaten free speech rights. By rewriting federal regulations, the Biden Education Department will punish teachers and students for exercising their right to free speech on campus.
Using the “wrong” pronoun to refer to another student could land a child or teacher in hot water, facing a possible Title IX investigation and punishment. Sources confirm to us that at least one student in a Tennessee school last year has been on the receiving end of school discipline for not using a student’s preferred pronouns.
The Defense of Freedom Institute has a portal where concerned parents and citizens can write to the Federal Department of Education about the proposed changes to Title IX.
In the checklist that Capitol Resource Institute shared with parents, one of the bullet points encouraged parents to find out their school policy on restrooms, locker rooms, and gender identity.
Metro Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) has a policy that states it is a violation of personal rights for any student, teacher, administrator or other school district employee to violate the personal rights of others which includes “intimidation, harassment/hazing, physical force or threat of physical force against all persons… motivated either in whole or in part by hostility to their real or perceived race, ethnic background, religious belief, gender (including gender identity), age, disability or sexual orientation…”
The Metro Nashville Board of Education passed a resolution last spring “affirming the physical, mental, emotional support of all students, staff, parents and stakeholders regardless of gender identity, gender expression or sexual orientation.”
MNPS also teaches about gender identity in their Lifetime Wellness Course which includes Sexual Health Education.
The Tennessee General Assembly passed HB 529 last year which mandates that parents be informed at least 30 days before any sexual orientation or gender identity curriculum is presented to students as part of a family life program or sex education program. Parents may examine the instructional materials and may excuse the student from any portion of the curriculum or from the program entirely without the student being penalized for grading purposes.’https://tennesseeconservativenews.com/tennessee-school-teachers-being-trained-to-use-preferred-pronouns-of-students-due-to-proposed-title-ix-changes/
I had this on the other day but here’s anther grab. Oh, are those other people at the table just as dumb as Kamala or what?
‘Yes, it has come to this. History will record that the Vice President of the United States, a heartbeat away from leading what they used to call the free world, opened a meeting on July 26, 2022, by stating with the utmost seriousness: “I am Kamala Harris. My pronouns are ‘she’ and ‘her.’ I am a woman sitting at the table wearing a blue suit.” She even looked down at her lapel as she said “wearing a –” and paused briefly as if to verify that the suit was still blue and hadn’t started to identify as gray or black while she wasn’t looking.’https://www.jihadwatch.org/2022/07/i-am-kamala-harris-my-pronouns-are-she-and-her-i-am-a-woman-sitting-at-the-table-wearing-a-blue-suit
These people are unsaved and totally NUTS! ‘A Virginia school district will suspend students from fourth grade on up for using the wrong pronouns to designate transgender peers, igniting a fierce backlash from parents during a Thursday school board meeting.
The Fairfax County School Board voted eight to four to approve guidelines that will discipline students who engage in “malicious misgendering,” “malicious deadnaming,” or use a slur based on a classmate’s “gender identity,” “gender expression,” or “sexual orientation.” The board approved the rules as part of next year’s school handbook. Four board members who objected did so for reasons unrelated to the suspension provision, preferring to debate a run-of-the-mill cell phone policy for an hour after fielding heated questions from parents.
The meeting showcased the power liberal school boards wield in America, as the members approved the rules over strenuous objections from parents on constitutional grounds and potentially under threat of lawsuits. While one board member acknowledged the concerns, another board member, Karl Frisch, evaded questions, saying the changes had already been implemented last year, though parents pointed out the school district quietly implemented them during the pandemic. A third, Abrar Omeish, floated the idea of nixing the public question period at the next meeting.
It equally showed parents’ frustration over their lack of influence, and their willingness to pull their children out of public schools due to their ideological drift. In a charged session that stretched late into the evening, many mothers questioned the legality of the new handbook rules as well as their necessity, citing learning loss for their children during the pandemic. One father told the Washington Free Beacon he would withdraw his kids from Fairfax County Public Schools if the “misgendering” rules passed. He mentioned two other parents he knew who had said the same.
Barbara Eckman is a mother of four boys, two of whom are gay. She told the school board she will homeschool her children now to avoid “activist policies” and redress learning gaps, saying she is having to do “the job that Fairfax County couldn’t.”
“I am both a loving mother and an ally to the Pride community,” Eckman said. “The fact that I do not support overwhelming, overreaching activist policies that violate First Amendment rights has nothing to do with how I feel about the gay and transgender community. … I have liberal and conservative friends, and when I discuss your proposed policies—the co-ed family life education and transgender unit in fourth grade, the potential suspensions for misgendering and deadnaming for kids as early as fourth grade—they’re all astonished. So this leads me to one question: Who are you really representing?”
A coalition of parents, conservative grassroots groups, political actors, and one erstwhile Trump administration official rallied before the vote. Many stayed to voice concerns during the open question period, though most left by the time of the vote, expecting unfavorable results. Of the 13 who addressed the school board, 8 rose in opposition to the new handbook.’https://freebeacon.com/campus/tiger-moms-maul-virginia-school-board-over-misgendering-rules/
‘Living as a Christian could get a student suspended from public school in Fairfax County, Virginia. Last week, the school board conducted an annual review of its Regulation 2601, proposing edits to a 70-page-long document on “Students’ Rights and Responsibilities (SR&R), and parents noticed something shocking.
According to a short provision buried deep in the document, students could face suspension for up to five days, and possibly further punishment, for referring to a fellow student according to their biological, God-given sex.
“Using slurs based upon the actual or perceived gender identity (which includes, but is not limited to, malicious deadnaming or malicious misgendering),” reads the offending provision, which appears on Page 21, under the “SBAR Code” “RB9h,” three pages into an extensive table aligning all possible offenses and punishments. The corresponding “Level 4” violation (nowhere defined) merits the punishment “circled R” (“(r)”), defined on Page 19, “allows for a suspension up to 5 days [if frequency and intensity are present]. Also allows for a referral to the Division Superintendent…” (text in brackets is a proposed addition). Is it just me, or is the bureaucratic jargon intentionally designed to confuse and discourage parents?’https://www.prophecynewswatch.com/article.cfm?recent_news_id=5365
Money down the toilet and the Government just shovels more into it! ‘Don’t expect Australia’s peak science body to come up with a vaccine against ‘wokeness’. They are, themselves, riddled with it.
Last week, the CSIRO announced it was abandoning science to chase the pot of gender confusion at the end of the LGBTQ+ rainbow – a case of spending taxpayer gold in pursuit of the fools’ kind.
In an announcement timed to coincide with the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras, our Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation said it would be offering staff extra leave for ‘gender reassignment’ surgery.
Our premier science organisation no longer regards gender as a fixed biological reality. Instead, gender is something assigned at birth – often incorrectly, as it so happens – but that can be ‘reassigned’ with a surgeon’s knife and the state-approved adjustment to birth certificates.
While telling the public to ‘follow the science’, our scientific community has decided to follow Caitlyn Jenner.
So-called ‘experts’ tell us that ‘the science is settled’ on climate change, but are happy to do a bit of casual re-writing on the basics of biology.
I’m sure the irony isn’t lost on people demonised for questioning ‘climate science’.
In particular, the CSIRO’s Gender Affirmation policy entitles staff to take time off for medical appointments before and after surgery, and to organise new birth certificates. This is probably annoying for staff who would like extra time off for non-woke activities.
All staff are to be given ‘diversity training’ to make the CSIRO more welcoming for non-binary, trans, and gender-diverse team members.
Finally, CSIRO computer software will be updated to allow researchers to display their preferred pronouns.
It’s all very sciencey.
CSIRO spokesman Chris Gerbing boasted that the Australian government agency responsible for scientific research had given staff permission to ‘be themselves at work’. The public, who are bankrolling the CSIRO, would probably rather its scientists knuckle down and get some work done.
Imagine what a ghastly work environment the CSIRO used to be before the Gender Affirmation Policy came into effect… All those un-affirmed genders out there, forced to walk the corridors and do research without ‘being themselves’. After all, an employer’s chief role is to continuously affirm the gender and sexual preferences of their staff, is it not? Or was it to not ask personal questions?
The Pride@CSIRO Network Leadership, which among other things exists to identify LGBTQI+ staff and their allies, claimed ‘diversity of thought is crucial to doing impactful science’.
Such a pity that diversity of thought at the CSIRO is positively mandated when it comes to gender, yet actively discouraged when it comes to climate, or to vaccine efficacy, or to mask mandates, or to the usefulness of taboo Ivermectin, or to the merits of lockdowns or to any number of real issues that actually matter to Australians the CSIRO are paid to serve.’https://spectator.com.au/2022/03/csiro-lgbtqqiaap/?utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=UNFI%20%2020220309%20%20GK&utm_content=UNFI%20%2020220309%20%20GK+CID_dc30f55a028888e2d683656b8c3cde5c&utm_source=CampaignMonitor_Australia&utm_term=It%20costs%20the%20Australian%20public%20over%20100%20million%20every%20year%20to%20keep%20the%20CSIRO%20afloat
