‘Edwards Elementary in Ames is encouraging students and staff to share their “unique self” through the creation of a set of school wings this week. Each teacher is provided with enough wings for themselves and their students.
The document states that “Pride Month” is celebrated every June as a tribute to those who were involved in the Stonewall Riots.
“The Riots were a pivotal event in LGBTQ+ history,” the document states. “Although we are not in school during the month of June, it is still important to recognize the identities of our Edwards Community.”
“‘Hannah’, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, was told by the school that she had ‘no choice’ but to affirm ‘Child X’ through gender transition or face the consequences. She was also told that she could not share her Christian beliefs in the school or her view, after detailed research, that a trans-affirming approach to gender-confusion leads to long-term harm.
The school was backed in its position by a Stonewall activist working at the local authority and the local Church of England diocese.
Teachers were told that none of the children or parents in the school were to know the biological sex of Child X.
The audio of the video below is not good so here’s what was said by this DEI activist.
In Iowa the ‘Ankeny School District has been a heated environment for debate lately with the topics of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion, Drag Shows, “diverse” LGBTQ+ school library literature featuring graphic text and pictures such as the cartoon illustrations of boys having sex in Gender Queer, masks, and vaccine mandates.
At board meetings, speakers are allowed to provide 3 minute speeches to the public voicing their opinions. These speeches are publicly recorded and become part of the public domain.
October 3, 2022 at the Ankeny Public School Board Meeting, one DEI (Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion) activist began her speech “I…Uh….This meeting is live streaming which is perfectly fine by me; however, I do not give permission to record it on your personal phone….Nope. I have to give consent….I do not give consent.” She turns around and starts arguing with members of the public audience whom were previously recorded in the meeting just minutes before and whose recordings have actually been featured in various news venues already without their consent. Des Moines Register actually had F. Amanda Tugade photographing a previous speaker with her phone.
The argument continued:
Activist: “Turn it off!”
Audience Member: “Waste more time we’re good”
Activist: “Sister, you need to go to law school.”
Audience Member: “So do you.”
The activist turns around and continues. “Um, I know there are people here to see me who are compelled circle back around to topics address past things.”
She continues…“Presently we are all working together for our students to feel safe in school being exactly who they are. For the future, we must be compelled to actively work to create more safe spaces in our school and continue in our schools, continue to provide support for our staff and teachers. Focusing on the past and refusing to move towards the future does not allow Ankeny School District to be present and forward thinking. I think it is critical for us to continue to do the hard work, be future minded, be in the present, and work together to address current critical items like DEI and other items that are put before the board that are critical to the safety of our schools. Thank You.”
Shortly after the board president announces the next speaker the activist points at another audience member holding her phone and yells “Turn it off!” “Turn it Off!”’
This may be Old Testament but it continues to be true! 2Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Parents, WAKE UP!!!!!
Today we got footage of Chattanooga Pride Youth Day at Wanderlinger Brewing Co. and this is what kids were subjected to. It’s NOT hard to not spread your legs to kids. It’s NOT hard to redirect a kid away from that area if they grab near your crotch. We have to stop this madness! pic.twitter.com/msvK98bQ3o
‘Because both Victoria andtheACT have now introduced laws that threaten parents with jail time if they don’t affirm the biological sex of their children.
And now NSW independent MP Alex Greenwich wants to follow Dan Andrews’ lead… by introducing a similar “equality” bill in NSW that will:
Jail parentswho try to prevent their children from mutilating their healthy bodies.
Give males an open door to women’s bathrooms and sports.
Override religious exemptions (so schools can’t adhere to religious teachings of sexuality and gender).
Premier Dan Andrews has put all Australians at risk with his dangerous “change or suppression” legislation.’
‘In a few days, Idaho’s largest city and capital will host a Pride festival that features a children’s drag queen show. And it is sponsored by major American corporations, according to the festival’s website.
On Sunday, Sept. 11, there will be a “drag kids” show at 12:45 p.m., an hour after drag story time.
Drag kids is described as:
“You have watched the Queens and Kings and now it is time to see the Kids. A drag show like none other the Drag Kids range from ages 11-18 and are ready to bring it all to the Boise Pride Festival stage! Come and cheer them on as they bring drag to the younger generation!”
Follow the science is what they said for the China virus but when it comes to gender they are delusional!
‘Earlier this year I was astonished to see there isn’t a single Democrat in the Iowa legislature willing to trust the science or side with basic biology.
I also was left scratching my head when soon-to-be-former State Rep. Dustin Hite said bills like the bathroom bill wouldn’t get a hearing in his committee any time soon. Hite was the chair of the House Education Committee. He said that when Republicans talk about “those issues,” they have to make sure they don’t come across as hateful.
What Hite and those Republicans who think like him obviously don’t understand is those who oppose science, common sense and reason on this issue do not care about approach — they care about the message.
The message, no matter how hard-lined or soft it is, comes across as hateful if we’re not willing to go along with preferred pronouns, fake females and make-believe men.
That’s the reality. And it shouldn’t be difficult to figure out.
I know that I lean to the right politically, and there are a few who might think of me as “far right” (I just prefer being right), but of all the issues out there, I know most Americans do not agree with the transgender push taking place across the country — regardless of their political leanings.
