“‘Hannah’, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, was told by the school that she had ‘no choice’ but to affirm ‘Child X’ through gender transition or face the consequences. She was also told that she could not share her Christian beliefs in the school or her view, after detailed research, that a trans-affirming approach to gender-confusion leads to long-term harm.
The school was backed in its position by a Stonewall activist working at the local authority and the local Church of England diocese.
Teachers were told that none of the children or parents in the school were to know the biological sex of Child X.
Our bureaucrats, it seems, have no boundaries when it comes to a former president of the United States. What a precedent to set. Let us compare that to how they treat themselves.
When Hillary Clinton’s emails were found to contain classified information, some marked at the highest levels of classification, the FBI did not raid her home in Chappaqua, New York. They did not overturn her office or closets when classified emails turned up that she had not sent back to the government or when she wiped the data on her personal server with BleachBit, which meant the government would never know the full extent of the documents Clinton kept. Why was she treated differently by the FBI?
Consider the case of former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, who lied to the Senate when he declared that the intelligence community had no mass surveillance program collecting data on Americans. Not only did he lie in his public testimony before the committee, he also refused to acknowledge his lie and instead tried to explain it away.
[Clapper] also refused to acknowledge his lie and instead tried to explain it away. Because Clapper is a protected bureaucrat, he faced no consequences, and even joined CNN as a paid national security contributor, regularly attacking former President Trump. CNN does not note that he perjured himself before Congress — with evidence — when they put him on the air.
Hayden also stated that the [CIA interrogation] tapes were destroyed, “only after it was determined they were no longer of intelligence value and not relevant to any internal, legislative, or judicial inquires.” Again, all evidence points to the contrary, and Hayden is wrong to make these clearly false assertions.
Hayden’s efforts, however, were just another in a long line of efforts to cover up the actions of unaccountable bureaucrats, who not surprisingly, were never held legally accountable.
My candid advice to Biden, Hayden, Clapper, and many other media commentators, is to consider your own records — and be careful what you advocate.

Former CIA Director Mike Hayden, shortly after the FBI raided the home of former President Donald J. Trump, responded to a tweet by Michael Beschloss in a way that, apart from disregarding any presumption of innocence, seemingly endorsed the idea that Trump was a spy who, for allegedly having taken classified documents, should be executed by the government, as the Rosenbergs were in 1953 for having passed US nuclear secrets to the Soviet Union. “Sounds about right,” Hayden wrote over of photograph of the Rosenbergs on Twitter.
Full disclosure There is a bit of history between Hayden and me. I opposed his nomination to be CIA director, by saying at the time, “Bottom line: I do believe he’s the wrong person, the wrong place at the wrong time.”
Hayden’s comment reflects what many fear: that there is a real double standard for certain Americans versus protected bureaucrats, politicians, and those favored by a mainstream media that has been accused of behaving like an arm of the Democratic Party (here, here and here). When President Joe Biden stood in Philadelphia before a blood-red wall flanked by U.S. Marines whom the Commander-in-Chief used as political props, he did not condemn Hayden’s suggestion to execute the former president; instead, he attacked everyday Americans with whose politics he disagrees.
When local Democrat official Robert Telles was arrested in the alleged murder of a Las Vegas reporter who investigated him for having an inappropriate relationship with a subordinate, you would have been hard pressed to know he was a Democrat. The media simply left that fact out of the story or buried in later paragraphs. Similarly, there was not much coverage of the Democrat political operative who hired a hit man to kill a political opponent. Similarly, when a North Dakota teen was run over and killed, the mainstream media ignored the suspect’s claiming that he did it after a political disagreement with the teen, whom he labeled a “Republican extremist.”
President Biden, where is your condemnation of this Democrat political violence? How about the FBI agents who raided the home of former president Trump and reportedly rummaged through the former first lady’s clothes closets and took Trump’s passports? Was this not politically excessive, President Biden?
When Hillary Clinton’s emails were found to contain classified information, some marked at the highest levels of classification, the FBI did not raid her home in Chappaqua, New York. They did not overturn her office or closets when classified emails turned up that she had not sent back to the government or when she wiped the data on her personal server with BleachBit, which meant the government would never know the full extent of the documents Clinton kept. Why was she treated differently by the FBI?
Our bureaucrats, it seems, have no boundaries when it comes to a former president of the United States. What a precedent to set. Let us compare that to how they treat themselves.
As a former House Intelligence Committee chair and U.S. ambassador, I have long dealt with our intelligence and law enforcement communities and can cite chapter and verse how these bureaucrats have protected themselves. Because Clapper is a protected bureaucrat, he faced no consequences, and even joined CNN as a paid national security contributor, regularly attacking former President Trump. CNN does not note that he perjured himself before Congress — with evidence — when they put him on the air.
The case that is perhaps most illustrative of the double standard was the 2005 destruction by CIA of 92 video tapes, comprising hundreds of hours of material, on the agency’s enhanced interrogation program.
For those who do not remember the enhanced interrogation program, it was a CIA program that attempted to gain valuable information, intelligence from captured al-Qaeda members about the plans, intentions, and capabilities of the organization.
The enhanced interrogation program was extremely controversial when it, along with the existence of secret prisons, was leaked to the media, but Jose Rodriguez, the director of operations for the CIA at the time, staunchly defended it. The CIA claims that it provided valuable insights into al-Qaeda, including information that eventually led to the successful raid that resulted in the assassination of Osama Bin Laden. Others have concluded the program was tantamount to torture, including Democrats on the Senate Intelligence Committee, who conducted a review, and the European Court on Human Rights.
As one the members of the “Gang of Eight” top congressional leaders briefed on the most sensitive intelligence, we were briefed on the “enhanced techniques” in 2004. It was difficult to imagine how they would be used or what the impact would be on a prisoner. We were told that we would be briefed on what techniques would be used on what individuals before they would be used again. We were never presented with the challenge of a review during my tenure.
As awareness of the program became public, Congress tried to get a better understanding of how it worked and how effective it was and just how far it had gone. Viewing those tapes would have been extremely helpful in making oversight determinations, but Rodriguez had ordered them destroyed.
How does that happen? When Congresswoman Jane Harman, the ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee at the time, first learned of the tapes in2003, she warned the CIA in writing not to destroy them. White House Counsel Harriet Miers also urged the CIA not to destroy the tapes. Additionally, in May of 2005, Senator Jay Rockefeller requested documents about interrogation on behalf of the Senate Judiciary Committee. In addition, lawyers for 9/11 defendant Zacarias Moussaoui requested the videos for the defense of their client, and Federal Judge Leonie Brinkema requested information on the interrogation program for court proceedings involving another detainee.
Despite congressional pressure, directives from White House lawyers, and federal legal proceedings, Rodriguez made the call to destroy the tapes in a secret cable written by Gina Haspel, who would go on to become CIA director under President Trump.
No one was ever charged for destroying the tapes. As far as I know, no homes or offices were ever raided to uncover evidence. But because these unaccountable bureaucrats took this action, the American people, Congress, and the courts will never know what really happened during this controversial period of American history.
What of Michael Hayden’s role in all of this? After The New York Times advised the Bush White House that it would be running a story on the destruction of the tapes, Hayden wrote to the CIA staff that congressional leaders had been briefed on the existence of the tapes and their planned destruction. Wrong. I had not been briefed on the existence or destruction of the tapes when I became chairman in 2004 and Jane Harman had earlier objected to the tape destruction in 2003.
Hayden also stated that the tapes were destroyed, “only after it was determined they were no longer of intelligence value and not relevant to any internal, legislative, or judicial inquires.” Again, all evidence points to the contrary, and Hayden is wrong to make these clearly false assertions.
Hayden’s efforts appear to be just another in a long line of efforts to cover up the actions of unaccountable bureaucrats, who not surprisingly, were never held legally accountable.
I recently received these quotes in an email and thought they were worth sharing. Our world is definitely rushing to its end as prophesied in the Word with more hatred each day toward their Creator. If you don’t know the Lord Jesus as your personal Savior take care of that situation today! John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
Bill Sunday is quoted saying:
“When is a revival needed? When carelessness and unconcern keep the people asleep.” “Whenever a day comes when I can stand and preach God’s Word without an agony of anxiety lest the people will not accept Christ; whenever a day comes when I can see men and women coming down the aisles without joy in my heart, I’ll quit preaching.” “The church is not a dormitory for sleepers, it is an institution for workers; it is not a rest camp, it is a front line trench.” “One reason sin flourishes is that it is treated like a cream puff instead of a rattlesnake.” “Let’s quit fiddling with religion and do something to bring the world to Christ.” “The backslider likes the preaching that wouldn’t hit the side of a house, while the real disciple is delighted when the truth brings him to his knees.” “The Bible will always be full of things you cannot understand, as long as you will not live according to those you can understand.”
‘One national news story flying under the radar of most mainstream media outlets is the murder of an investigative journalist in Las Vegas.
Jeff German, the journalist, had unearthed startling revelations about Clark County Public Administrator Robert “Rob” Telles. Telles is a Democrat. The revelations are many, and likely a major reason Telles lost his bid for re-election in a Democrat primary.
German was found stabbed seven times, prosecutors said, outside of his home. DNA from German’s hands matched the DNA of Telles.
Executive Editor of the Review-Journal said the arrest of Telles is “an enormous relief and an outrage.”
“We are relieved Robert Telles is in custody and outraged that a colleague appears to have been killed for reporting on an elected official. Journalists can’t do the important work our communities require if they are afraid a presentation of facts could lead to violent retribution. We thank Las Vegas police for their urgency and hard work and for immediately recognizing the terrible significance of Jeff’s killing,” Cook reportedly said.
Astonishingly, a tone-deaf Las Vegas journalist actually attempted to place at least part of the blame for the violent act at the feet of — you guessed it — President Donald J. Trump.
Here was the exchange from Thursday’s press conference. You can watch it below:
REPORTER: “Sheriff you said the murder of a journalist is especially troubling. Now is probably not the appropriate time to talk politics, but do you condemn former President Trump’s normalization of violence against journalists?”
SHERIFF LOMBARDO: “I think this is probably the inappropriate venue to speculate on that or opine on that. I think it needs to be stated and noted that it is troublesome because it is a journalist and we expect journalism to be open and transparent and the watch dog for government. And when people take it upon themselves to create harm associated with that profession, I think it’s very important that we put all eyes on and address the case appropriately, such as we did in this case.”’https://theiowastandard.com/blame-trump-democrat-official-murders-journalist-sheriff-asked-if-he-condemns-trumps-comments-about-media/
‘The Iowa Standard recently published a letter to the editor from a reader regarding the proposed Carbon Capture Pipeline projects. And the reader expressed doubt as to the state of the “climate emergency” supposedly impacting the worldwide community.
The reader submitted the letter to the editor to the Ames Tribune as well. If you want to read the full letter, here is the copy we published.
The Ames Tribune, though, had to make a “significant exception.”
A person called Lucas Grundmeier is the opinion editor for the “USA Today Network.” He wrote to the letter writer that he is happy to publish the letter as presented, but noted with the significant exception.
“These two sentences must be deleted:
“‘According to 1100 scientists and professionals who signed a World Climate Declaration, this is no climate emergency. Carbon pipelines representatives are playing with emotions.’”
Grundmeier said the passage is “accurate as written,” but…
“I will not permit the Tribune’s platform to be used to lend credibility to such disinformation as the World Climate Declaration.”
Genesis 8:22 “While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.”
‘The world’s most infamous hockey stick was probably the graph produced for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change in 1998. The purpose of the graph was to show how global temperatures had changed over time and what had caused these changes. Over the last millennium, the graph showed a steady but gentle increase in temperature until about 1900 when the graph showed a sharp increase. It is this graph which has been influential in the public perception of Anthropogenic Global Warming – the idea that the Earth is getting warmer and that this is the fault of human industrial activity.
It would certainly appear to be the case that the world has warmed up slightly since 1900. This should not really be a surprise. The mean temperature of the Earth has clearly fluctuated over time. For example, there is a phenomenon known as the Medieval Warm Period. This was a period in the Middle Ages when there seemed to be greater temperatures than today. Areas of Northern England, such as the environs of York, were able to support vineyards which they are not easily able to do today. This Medieval Warm Period should show up on the graph as a dome; yet, the graph shows a straight line over the last millennium, up to 1990. If the graph is so inaccurate for the period 1200 through 1600, how can it be trusted for the 20th Century? Indeed, many leading scientists have criticized all parts of the graph, suggesting that the data does not support this alarmist graph.
‘In the early 1970s, English scientist James Lovelock went public with his “Gaia Hypothesis” – conjuring up Gaia, the ancient Greek Mother Earth goddess, to a largely post-Christian, paganized Western Civilization. All the interconnected ecosystems of Planet Earth are supposedly part of a living, breathing, life-giving Mother. The hypothesis became quite popular – everything happens for the good of Planet Earth!
Here was a throw-back to ancient pagan pantheistic religions – supported, of course, by the “science” of evolution. All the different ecosystems and re-circulations of water, carbon and nitrogen somehow evolved you see in a grand DANCE with the Planet as if part of a living body. And it gave birth to the myriad life-forms, including mankind. Who really needs God?! And, thus, in many ways, Western Civilization – though benefiting from Biblical Christianity – has slid into a Romans 1 post Christian culture where the creature (creation) has replaced the Creator. As the Bible says in Romans 1, professing themselves to be wise, they became fools who changed the truth of God into a lie and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator.
From the 1970s on, environmentalism has achieved an extraordinarily high level of doctrinal agreement, zeal, and syncretistic participation from all faiths and educating institutions! It has become a unifying cause to promote One World harmony. This is another example of how a partial truth has been made into a grand lie under the devil’s deception. The biblical truth is that we are stewards, trustees, managers and tenant farmers to take care of God’s property and not abuse it. We wrote more about this in connection with environmental doomsday predictions in our May 2013 letter.*
Sadly, environmentalism from this pagan perspective has become a religion of its own for many people, replacing the truth of the Bible. And in the last 30 years, it seems that all other types of environmental issues have taken a back seat to the threat of man-made “Climate Change”. Virtually every school kid, everywhere in the world, gets some level of training about this “dire problem”.
From 1990 to the present day, the United Nations (UN) has used its Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) to regularly “assess the threat”. Of course, the Panel has plenty of corruption issues – just like another UN globalist agency, the World Health Organization. The WHO is prominently corrupt in its covering for Communist China during the Covid pandemic. As with Covid and with evolutionism, much conflicting data and expert opinion has been censored out of the mainstream and ridiculed. You can read about an example of such unreported alternative data in our letter of October 2019. And you can read our take on the Climate Gate scandal of 2009 in our January 2010 letter.*
The Climate Gate scandal of 2009 clearly revealed high levels of corrupted information, and it resulted in ridicule and censorship being poured out on the heads of “Climate Deniers”!
In the 30+ years of earnest Climate Change alarmism, every environmental hiccup has been blamed on the increase of “greenhouse gases”. And we’ve seen one discredited prediction after another. For instance: Many beaches and entire islands were going to disappear by 2020 due to rising sea levels. The arctic ice cap was going to become “ice free” in the summer by 2013. We were going to reach a “point of no return” if we didn’t transition away from “fossil fuels” by 2016. But none of these or many other predictions have come to pass!
Bible-believing people like you can look to Job 26:10 for an answer about rising sea levels: “He has compassed the waters with bounds, until the day and night come to an end”. In his Defenders Study Bible commentaries, Henry Morris affirms this as a statement about maximum sea levels, in line with the Noahic covenant of Genesis 9:11 following the Great Flood.
Climate is so much more complex than what computer correlations and models can predict, especially with skewed data. And there are all kinds of accelerated mechanisms within the creation for balancing things out, such as consumption of CO2 by increased plant growth. The scientists simply don’t have it all figured out. Furthermore, it has become another totalitarian control mechanism, as practiced time and again under international communism and going all the way back to Nimrod at the Tower of Babel. You can read more detail about that kind of thing in our letters from August 2018, May 2019, and October 2020.*
Syncretizing a Mother Earth goddess with mainstream religion took an interesting twist in October 2019. Many Catholic Christians were outraged that the liberal Pope Francis Bergoglio invited devotees of the Amazonian Mother Earth goddess Pachamama to perform a worship ritual to her. It was done in his presence at the Vatican, complete with a wooden idol! Then, one year later, in October of 2020, he issued a silver 10 euro commemorative coin with an image of a woman pregnant with the earth inside her.
Here it is 2022, and we have seen Climate Change hysteria attack food production on the basis of a not-so-well-known greenhouse gas, nitrous oxide, released from fertilizers. The government of Sri Lanka collapsed in July of this year in part from banned fertilizers. Their leaders were trying to become a model “green” agricultural economy to please globalist Climate Change groups. And farmers in the Netherlands and elsewhere are protesting their governments’ Climate Change-motivated policies against agriculture. So the “religious” zeal in favor of Climate Change is now driving potential major food shortages. As always, such “crises” play right into the hands of a police state.
Here’s what I think. Instead of becoming the Church of the Green New Deal by being involved in “a dance with the Planet”, we should be involved in “a dance with the Living and Spirit-infused Word of God” – a “dance with the Holy Spirit inside us” as Christians! The Bible says the Spirit is “springing up” exuberantly within us like an everlasting spring of “living water” (John 4:14, John 7:38)!
Our task as Christians is to keep turning away from the many idols that are out there to distract us and lead us into apathy and discouragement. Instead, we can grab hold of the passionate purposes and callings of God, the coat-tails and the embracing arms of the “springing” and “flowing” Holy Spirit within! Let Him inform and energize us! This is the source of a truly fruitful endeavor and of love, joy, and peace forevermore.’https://creationmoments.com/newsletter/church-of-the-green-new-deal/?mc_cid=89a6e82ac5&mc_eid=00c1dcff3c
