‘A transgender criminal who serves in the New Hampshire House of Representatives is in jail for stalking a woman, a third arrest for the Democrat lawmaker.
State representative Stacie Laughton, a Democrat formerly known as “Barry,” was arrested in November on more than a dozen charges related to the stalking and is expected to remain behind bars “for the next couple of months,” according to a public defender’s letter obtained by the Washington Free Beacon. Laughton, who had just won reelection, was arrested on Nov. 12 for making false 911 calls about the female victim as well as harassing her on social media and on a radio program Laughton hosts, in violation of a July court order. It’s the third arrest for the state representative, who has also been charged with credit card fraud and falsely reporting a bomb threat.
Laughton is the latest felonious transgender official to be charged in recent months. In October, a nonbinary Biden administration official, Sam Brinton, stole a woman’s suitcase worth more than $2,000 from an airport carousel and now faces up to five years in prison for theft. Following the charges, Brinton, a deputy assistant secretary at the Energy Department, was put on leave and later went on to host a seminar on the science of spanking at a Los Angeles kink convention.
Republican state representative Ross Berry told the Free Beacon the public defender’s letter implies Laughton agreed to a plea deal. Under New Hampshire’s Constitution, lawmakers cannot be kept from carrying out official duties, even after being arrested. A district court judge initially held Laughton without bail pending a hearing last week, saying the state representative posed a danger to the female victim and the community at large, the NH Journal reported. The results of that hearing have not been announced.
Laughton’s defense attorney declined to comment. New Hampshire Democratic Party chairman Ray Buckley on Wednesday called on Laughton to resign, noting the charges against the representative “are extremely serious and troubling and have no place in our state legislature or in our party.”
Laughton was convicted in August of having made false 911 reports last year about the same female victim, alleging that she was suicidal, according to NH Journal. The Democratic lawmaker pleaded no contest to the charges and was slapped with a nine-month suspended sentence, which prosecutors are seeking to reimpose in the wake of the stalking charges. Laughton, who is married to a woman, once referred to the female victim as “wife.”
Laughton was convicted in 2008 of credit card fraud and charged in 2015 with falsely calling in a bomb threat to a hospital in Nashua. The latter offense was reduced to a six-month suspended sentence when Laughton claimed to have made the phone call during a mental health crisis.
In 2006, Laughton faked a mental health emergency to score a free ambulance ride back from the beach after watching a July 4 fireworks display, the Laconia Daily Sun reported. The same year, Laughton also faced misdemeanor charges for slashing a neighbor’s tires.
This is the second time the New Hampshire Democrat has won election while concealing a criminal charge. Laughton was elected in 2012, only to resign shortly after the 2008 credit card conviction surfaced. Liberal media outlets at the time lauded Laughton for being the first openly transgender official in the Granite State.’https://freebeacon.com/democrats/fatal-attraction-transgender-new-hampshire-dem-back-in-jail-on-stalking-charges/
“‘Hannah’, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, was told by the school that she had ‘no choice’ but to affirm ‘Child X’ through gender transition or face the consequences. She was also told that she could not share her Christian beliefs in the school or her view, after detailed research, that a trans-affirming approach to gender-confusion leads to long-term harm.
The school was backed in its position by a Stonewall activist working at the local authority and the local Church of England diocese.
Teachers were told that none of the children or parents in the school were to know the biological sex of Child X.
Child X was being supported in their secret gender transition by Mermaids, which the Department for Education has now stopped recommending as a mental health and wellbeing resource for schools.” https://christianconcern.com/news/teacher-sacked-for-raising-safeguarding-concerns-for-trans-child/

All too many political figures are against what used to be the normal such as marriage between one man and one woman. The Victorian Premier, Dan Andrews, is such a person.
‘Dan Andrews wants you and your views about marriage and life cancelled.
He thinks you are a bigot.
In an extraordinary attack on the pro-life and pro-marriage views of millions of Australians of all faiths and none, the Victorian Premier said these views were “bigotry”.
He was commenting on the appointment of Andrew Thorburn as the Chief Executive Officer of the Essendon Australian Football Club.
Thorburn’s “crime” is that, like millions of Australians, he attends a church that is pro-life and believes that marriage is for heterosexuals.
His church’s views are identical to those of millions of mosque-going Muslims and church-going Christians.
Yet Andrews thinks these Australians are all “bigots”.
“Those views are absolutely appalling. I don’t support those views; that kind of intolerance, that kind of hatred, bigotry is just wrong,” Andrews said.
“All of you know my views on these things. Those sort of attitudes are simply wrong, and to dress that up as anything other than bigotry is just obviously false.”
Andrews and the intolerant left are hell bent on punishing those who do not comply with their social views.
Port Phillips deputy mayor Tim Baxter, a prominent Essendon member, quit the club over the Thorburn’s appointment and urged a wider boycott.
Baxter said Thorburn should not be in a leadership position.
Thorburn is chair of the church, City on a Hill.
The persecution of socially conservative beliefs has escalated since the same-sex marriage debate in 2017 and the change in law, despite promises that there would be tolerance of traditional views.
It appears Thorburn is being discriminated against for his church’s religious beliefs.
Federal Labor under Prime Minister Anthony Albanese says it will legislate to protect religious freedom but it is hard to see this happening when senior Labor leaders like Andrews simply dismisses social values based on religion as “bigotry”.’https://familyfirstparty.org.au/pro-life-pro-marriage-you-are-a-bigot-says-dan-andrews%ef%bf%bc/
‘Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds submitted an opinion piece to the Des Moines Register earlier this month. It was about the Register’s efforts to defend the Linn-Mar School District keeping secret gender plans from parents of students in grades 7-12.
The policy has been highly controversial. And Reynolds wanted to respond to the Register’s editorial in defense of the policy.
The Register’s opinion editor, someone we believe to be a biological male called Lucas Grundmeier, planned to publish it in last Sunday’s edition. With one “substantive change…”
Grundmeier wrote:
“This sentence: Biological males will be allowed to share restrooms, locker rooms and sleeping quarters on overnight trips with girls.
“Became: Children assigned male at birth will be allowed to share restrooms, locker rooms and sleeping quarters on overnight trips with girls.
“I will not revert to the original, but if you’d prefer a different edit I will use it instead. Please let me know this afternoon.”
The Governor’s office asked Grundmeier if the statement “biological male” is factually incorrect. Keep in mind this is an opinion piece, meant to convey the opinion of the author.
Grundmeier wrote it isn’t a question of accuracy. And that while the Register isn’t bound by the AP Stylebook, it is “the starting point” of how the Register handles “topics” where “language itself is part of the political debate.”’https://theiowastandard.com/crazy-people-running-des-moines-register-refuse-to-print-governors-op-ed-over-term-biological-boys/
‘A chaplain who lost his job at a Church of England school has given evidence to a tribunal that “truth, Christian faith, freedom of faith and speech” were “ridden roughshod over” as the school disciplined him and eventually made him redundant.
Today, Rev. Dr Bernard Randall told East Midlands Employment Tribunal that Trent College, where he worked as a chaplain, that the school had shown “absolutely no regard for the concern [he] had for those upset or confused by the implementation of Educate and Celebrate” – a charity that provides training “to embed gender, gender identity and sexual orientation into the fabric” of their organisations.
Staff training from Educate and Celebrate
In the summer of 2018, Dr Randall became aware that Educate and Celebrate was due to lead a staff training session at the Church of England school. When he visited the charity’s website to understand what the session would involve, he saw that it “went beyond a neutral stance of inclusivity, into active promotion of ideas”. Alarmed by the group’s intention to “smash heteronormativity,” its promotion of identity politics and ‘misleading’ claims, Dr Randall considered writing to the Head, suggesting that the invitation be delayed until there was time to address his concerns.
However, Dr Randall decided instead to attend the Educate & Celebrate training when it took place in September. Although he had no objection to some of what was taught by Ms Elly Barnes, the charity’s founder, he “considered some areas impossible to reconcile with Christian principles, and therefore with the stated objects of the school”.
This included “the notion that ‘love is love’, without further definition” and “having the staff chanting about the need to ‘smash heteronormativity’”.
Dr Randall challenged Ms Barnes over “selective” use of statistics about intersex/Differences in Sexual Development. “I pointed out that, contrary to the list produced by E&C, gender identity is not a protected characteristic, to which Ms Barnes smiled and responded, ‘Well, it should be’”.
Implementing Educate and Celebrate
After the training session, Dr Randall spoke to his line manager and the Head to explain his concerns. They gave assurances that they had not known the full content of the session and were also concerned by the chanting. They said that they “would not simply implement the entire Educate and Celebrate programme as presented, but would make selective use of whatever fitted with the Trent ethos.”
Dr Randall was told that he would be part of a group looking at what aspects of Educate and Celebrate’s programme the school would use. However, in November, after mentioning the lack of meetings he was told he had “not been invited to discussions because [he] ‘might disagree with it.’” He later discovered that the school had since committed to pursuing the charity’s gold award by implementing their entire programme.
Sermon
Dr Randall picked up on concerns among the school community about aspects of the programme. “Some objected to elements on religious grounds; others found the aggressively political approach concerning, feeling that beliefs were being forced on them; others were simply confused about what they could, or could not, believe.”
When one child asked if he could use a sermon to address the question “How come we are told we have to accept all this LGBT stuff in a Christian school”, he carefully wrote an explanatory, moderate sermon emphasising the importance of “respecting those with whom we disagree”.
He gave the sermon twice in chapel, once with minor alterations, and spoke to various members of staff and pupils. Dr Randall recalled, “They broadly said the message was interesting, enjoyable, and thought-provoking. None seemed to have been upset.”
He even spoke to a pupil who was public about his homosexuality, who also spoke positively. “At no stage did any member of staff or pupil give me any indication of wanting to express negative views, or ask to meet with me to discuss what I had said.”
Safeguarding meeting
Nevertheless, within a week, Dr Randall had been asked to attend a meeting with the school’s Designated Safeguarding Lead. He was given a glancing look at concerns which Dr Randall says “were from people who simply disagreed with Church teaching, or disagreed with it being taught.” He explained that there were factual errors in the complaints about what he had said, but this was brushed aside and Dr Randall was questioned about Church of England doctrine.
Asking what they considered was wrong with his presentation, Dr Randall said that two issues were raised: first, they incorrectly contended that gender identity was a protected characteristic; second, they claimed that psychology textbooks say there are three genders. But the real problem, according to the school was not what Dr Randall had said but how the sermon made people feel.
Dr Randall felt ambushed. While being accused of lacking empathy, he says he “was shown absolutely no empathy during the course of the meeting … There was absolutely no regard for the concern I had expressed for those upset or confused by the implementation of Educate and Celebrate”.
