‘Tennessee GOP Gov. Bill Lee has invited the private, conservative Hillsdale College to help open charter schools in his state as alternatives to public school that families and others in the state believe have far too liberal curricula.
Lee is making available as much as $32 million in public funds for the charter schools, which receive taxpayer funding to operate but are privately run.
They have traditionally served as an alternative to families with children in under-performing public schools.
The Hillsdale charter schools are neither owned nor managed by Hillsdale. Instead, the schools enter agreements to use the Hillsdale curriculum, and the small Michigan college provides training for faculty and staff, as well as other assistance – all free of charge, according to The New York Times.
A Hillsdale official told Just the News on Thursday it has received three applications to participate in the Tennessee program.
Hillsdale calls its lessons the “1776 Curriculum.”
School officials say the name is not in response to The New York Times’ “1619 Project” about so-called Critical Race Theory – which suggests America is inherently racist – but is “inspired by a deep admiration and respect for America’s Founders and the principles they expressed.
Public school parents have in recent months expressed large concerns about variations of critical race theory being taught to their children and have repeatedly brought their arguments to the public forum – including open school board meetings.
Hillsdale’s version teaches students that America is “an exceptionally good country.”
Critics of the 1776 Curriculum say it has an overly positive take on American history.
“It talks about the enormity of slavery, but in almost every case, everything that’s bad about America will be undone by what is good. Almost, literally, that American ideals will overcome whatever evils may be there,” Sean Wilentz, a Princeton professor told The Times.
Lee recently told Tennessee lawmakers: “For decades, Hillsdale College has been the standard-bearer in quality curriculum and in the responsibility of preserving American liberty. To make matters worse, we also received word from a leading Christian ministry that our ads for The Matter of Life would not be accepted there either. Over 30 years ago, I was assigned to market the book Tortured for Christ which depicts the testimony of Pastor Richard Wurmbrand who had suffered for 14 years in a communist prison for his faith. I remember being turned down by secular and Christian media outlets. One Christian magazine told me, “Why would people want to read about suffering? They just want to be blessed.” We are closer to winning the battle against nationally legalized abortion then we have ever been. We’ve been fighting this battle for nearly 50 years. This is not the time to retreat. It is time to stand up and continue fighting for the rights of the unborn!’ |
This story is soooo whatever that it doesn’t make sense. Here’s a woman who is triple vaxxed against Covid but she catches Covid and is barely capable of continuing her life as she once knw it. HOWEVER, the answer to the problem is in the last sentence in this blog and that is “Vaccination is the best way to reduce the risks of Covid-19“. Yeah, I will hurry down and get my jab!
‘Australian journalist Tracey Spicer has been struck down with long Covid that has left her feeling a like “a shadow of her former self”.
The 55-year-old triple-jabbed broadcaster and author caught the virus in January on a holiday to the Gold Coast.
The illness left her bedridden for two weeks. But while she has recovered from some symptoms, such as a severe cough, she remains so sick she can barely work — more than three months after catching the virus.
She told Nine News she is suffering from debilitating fatigue and chest pains that have landed her in hospital, fearing she was having a heart attack.
“I’ve felt like a shadow of my former self. I’ve been swimming through mud every day,” she said. “Even cooking a meal can be absolutely crushing. I can hardly walk around the block.
“I’ve had the debilitating exhaustion, and I also had a very worrying four weeks where I was in and out of hospital with chest pain, I thought I was having a heart attack.”
Spicer is well-known for her work with sexual assault survivors — which had an enormous public impact and led to several investigations.
She said she wants to see Australia step up its response to long Covid.’

‘Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 1:30 PM in the Des Moines, Iowa Capitol Representative Jon Jacobsen held a subcommittee meeting to discuss The Medical Privacy & Freedom Act HSB 647 in which citizens provided testimonies with their stories of injury, discrimination, coercion, and job loss as a result of mandates. Speakers traveled from across the state and were set to speak in the capitol until midnight or later. 34th District Democratic Representative Bruce Hunter became very upset with the incontestable testimonies that did not fall in line with his agenda and stormed off. Representative Jacobsen claimed he would continue taking testimonies in the capitol until morning if necessary; however, his plan fell short as people in opposition to the bill were disturbed by the indisputable testimonies and forced everyone to leave around 8 PM. Determined to provide everyone with a voice, Jon Jacobsen continued to take recorded testimonies at a bar down the street up until around 11:30 PM. The recorded testimonies from the bar were entered into the Iowa Capitol archives by February 18, 2022.
Registered Nurse, Jennifer Scott, reflects on all the lost employees resulting in a shortage of medical professionals due to vaccine mandates. ‘We, a group of international lawyers and a judge, hereby are conducting criminal investigation modelled after the United States Grand Jury proceedings.
This Grand Jury Investigation serves as a model legal proceeding to present to a jury (consisting of the citizens of the world) all available evidence of COVID-19 Crimes Against Humanity to date against “leaders, organizers, instigators and accomplices” who aided, abetted or actively participated in the formulation and execution of a common plan for a pandemic.
Crimes to be investigated include all acts performed or omitted by a person in pursuance of a common design to commit Crimes Against Humanity, and all such criminal acts condemned in the various communities of jurors around the world.
This investigation is of the people, by the people and for the people and shall be referred to as the ‘Peoples´ Court of Public Opinion.
Having been unable to find a court to hear the actual evidence in the current system´s courts of law, we are undertaking this proceeding outside of the current system and based on natural law. This, in turn is founded on the firm belief that every person can easily distinguish between good and evil, and between right and wrong.
The allegation is that the world’s governments have come under the controlling influence of corrupt and criminal power structures.
They colluded to stage a pandemic that they had been planning for years. To this end they deliberately created mass panic through false statements of fact and a socially engineered psychological operation whose messages they conveyed through the corporate media.
The purpose of this mass panic was to persuade the population to agree to the so-called “vaccinations” which have in the meantime be proven to be neither effective, nor safe, but extremely dangerous, even lethal.
The economic, social, and health damage that these Crimes Against Humanity have caused to the world’s population can be measured in quadrillions of dollars.
