It is no surprise that society is ant-god but one would think a Christian denomination wouldn’t be. Well, think again.
‘4. The Episcopal Church drops gendered pronouns for God
An Episcopal Church resolution in 2018 called upon the denomination’s General Convention to “avoid the use of gendered pronouns for God,” with an amended resolution later calling on Episcopalians to “utilize expansive language for God from the rich sources of feminine, masculine, and non-binary imagery for God found in Scripture and tradition and, when possible, to avoid the use of gendered pronouns for God.”

Hearing my professor say this, in his Unity of the Bible course, wouldn’t have been so shocking if it hadn’t happened in Fuller Seminary, which was once considered one of the most conservative seminaries in the country.
As we all know, God spoke directly to Cain in the very next chapter, Genesis 4! But this professor never changed his notes to match the Bible. His mind was made up.
The professor was Dan Fuller, son of the founder, Charles E. Fuller (whose preaching had led to Jack Chick’s salvation).
At Fuller, it wasn’t long before I found myself questioning everything I had believed about God and the Bible. We were frequently challenged to think differently and question our currently held beliefs. I think you will be quite surprised by what other Fuller Bible “scholars” believed.
This is Paul Jewett. He taught us that Adam didn’t find a companion until he looked and saw one of the apes. He said, and I quote, “That one over there. I think it’s something in the eyes.” So Dr. Jewett, this champion of women as pastors, taught that the first woman was literally an ape.
This is Dr. Ralph P. Martin. He changed the meaning of a couple of Greek words in Acts 1 to make it as if Luke and Acts were written in the 2nd century, contradicting the Bible, which says Luke was an eyewitness.
This is Dr. Lewis B. Smedes. Like a confrontational talk-show host, he would try to tear down each class member’s faith in the 10 Commandments. He’d arrange us in a circle and make up tear-jerking scenarios, where breaking a commandment seemed like the only thing you could do, to solve the problem he made up. And when someone finally emotionally broke down in class, he would say in front of the others, “So you don’t really believe in that commandment, do you?” He took pleasure in tearing people’s faith into shreds.
These are Drs. Hubbard, LaSor and Bush. They wrote an Old Testament Introduction text that said Ezekiel was a reformer who wanted to make a bigger Jerusalem temple. But alas, his plans didn’t work out. (That’s Ezekiel 40-48). They said that those chapters were simply Ezekiel’s wish-fulfillment dream, not from God. So they believed the Bible was written by man, not inspired by God.
Dr. Bob Schaper, my homiletics professor, said two things I still remember, almost word-for-word: “If we had a Polaroid camera, we would not have seen God forming man of the dust of the ground and breathing into his nostrils the breath of life.” And “If we had a Polaroid camera, we would not have seen Jesus ascend to heaven. ‘Heaven isn’t up.’” And nobody questioned it! Yet Acts 1 plainly says Jesus “went up” before their eyes, while they watched. But Dr. Schaper never let the facts get in the way of his beliefs.
Oh, and one more thing. All the professors here, as far as they had said and I was told, were evolutionists. They thought creationism was a fairy tale, and that Genesis 1-11 was just poetry.
This is who trained thousands of present pastors and professors when they went to Fuller seminary, as I did. And they are only the tip of the iceberg.
Listening to my professors talk, was like dissecting dead things. These professors were perfectly happy to pick up the dead and rotting corpses of supposedly ancient Bible texts, cut out what they wanted, throw the rest away, and sort of “Frankenstein-together” a Bible out of the rotten remains of whatever they found.
But God’s words never died. They are living! The Bible’s words are “quick” —and they are powerful. They change lives.
“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart” (Hebrews 4:12).
“Quick” means “alive.” God’s words are quick and powerful, not dead and powerless.
“Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?” (Jeremiah 23:29). God’s word burns and breaks whatever God wants burnt and broken. That’s powerful.
In short, God’s words are an extension of God. They are powerful, like God. They do what God wants, when God wants, how God wants. God’s words are alive. When I approach HIS Book I can find out what my heavenly Father thinks, what He wants, and what will make Him happy.
The Bible is not like any other book. It is God’s Book! But my professors treated their own words as if they were more important than God’s words. And they taught the sons and daughters entrusted to them to doubt the Bible and trust them.
There is a solution. You can inoculate your sons and daughters against these kinds of faith-destroying professors. Teach them to trust the preserved words of the living God, in English, the King James Bible. ‘God made man, but men also make their own god or gods. Only one God made man, but men have made many gods. The Bible also talks about this, listing names of various fictional gods invented by men. Among these are Asherah, Astarte, Astaroth, Baal, Chemosh, Inanna, Marduk, and Moloch. There is a reason the first of the ten commandments (Exodus 20:3) says, “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.”
Men make-up gods. The Bible shows that men make up separate gods, very often regional ones, who represent a local people. Since the completion of scripture, men made up other gods, very often representing separate religions. Among these are Allah, Brahma, Eshwara, Krishna, Shakti, Shiva, The Tao, and Vishu. Roman and Greek mythology presented Jupiter and Zeus.
Perhaps something more sinister than different gods is using the biblical names for God, except with a different one. God is more than a name. Many of you reading know that sects in Christianity have different beliefs about who God is. They all use the same designations. For instance, they might say, “Holy Spirit,” but they mean an active force in the world, not a Person. Joseph Smith, first prophet of LDS, taught that God was once a man on another planet before being exalted to Godhood.
Professors of Christianity today conform a God in their imaginations to their own liking. In Colossians 3:5, the Apostle Paul wrote, “Mortify . . . covetousness, which is idolatry.” Their God has the same name as the biblical God. So does Jesus.
Instead of abstaining from lust, professing believers make up a God who permits it or wants it. He desires it in worship. This is another way of changing “the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image like to corruptible man” (Romans 1:23).
‘A recent worship service co-hosted by Duke Divinity School and the Duke Divinity Pride student organization invited students to praise the “great queer one.”
“We want to affirm everyone to be who they truly are,” second year Master of Divinity student Caroline Camp began. “To step into the holy one’s fire that burns away all that says we are not good enough and refines us by the Pentecostal fire to be who exactly the great queer one calls us to be. Let the spirit move you today, lift your hands and voices and dance in whatever way is most freeing to you.”
The one-hour March 22 “service of word” took place in Goodson Chapel, described as the center of worship life at Duke Divinity School. A video of the event on YouTube shows several dozen in attendance.

‘Over the weekend, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America became the first mainline Protestant denomination to elect a transgender bishop.
The Rev. Dr. Megan Rohrer, who was born female but now identifies as male, using the pronouns “he” and “they,” was elected Saturday, May 8, to serve as bishop of the Sierra Pacific Synod of the ELCA.
Rohrer was approved by 209 votes, barely surpassing the Rev. Jeff Johnson, pastor of University Lutheran Chapel of Berkeley, who received 207 votes, according to a press release from the denomination.
The transgender pastor, currently leading Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in San Francisco, will be installed as bishop Sept. 11 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Walnut Creek, California.

The following seems to validate the fact that Princeton and other schools like it have professors that know not the Lord Jesus and His Word. The Communists know their manifesto but pretend make-believe Christian apostates have not a clue what the Bible has to say! The WOKE folk at ‘The Princeton Theological Seminary segregated participants in its mandatory racial bias training by race, according to video materials obtained by Young America’s Foundation.
The training, led by Laurie Carlsson and Dr. Michelle Majors, offered three separate spaces for students and faculty to participate: A “white-only space” to “grapple with our whiteness and how we’ve been socialized, in a way that does not harm our colleagues and co-students of color,” a separate group “only open to students who identify as Black, Indigenous, or a person of color,” and a group for participants “uncomfortable with either of these scenarios.”
The segregated groups are designed to “[create] safety and support while addressing the personal institutional challenges of becoming an anti-racist institution,” Majors said during the presentation.
Praise the Lord He kept me from attending such schools with these apostates supposedly acting as Christian teachers. Schools like this only produce more apostates who will lead more souls to hell!

If that isn’t enough a 2014 graduate of the school created a tree shrine on campus because she was ‘Inspired by Hindu and Buddhist icons that she studied in Professor Steven Hopkins’ class The Power of Images in Spring 2012′ making ‘an icon of Lucretia Mott as a transgendered, multi- racial and multi-armed goddess astride her flaming Phoenix, holding safely in her womb the campus Quaker Meeting House, and brandishing in each of her graceful hands symbols that represent service and leadership, scholarship, the Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, and Humanities, and the virtues of athletic discipline.’
This graduate went on to say ‘When I took The Power of Images. . . I stared and stared at those gorgeous snapshots of Hindu shrines sprung up overnight like miraculous technicolor weeds, at Jizo shrines overflowing with little statues; shimenawa, omamori, baby Krishnas, reliquaries, Shiva processions . . . Do you know what it’s LIKE to be both an artist and a student of religion? Have you ever been forced, starving and depressed, to look at hundreds of professional photos of world-class sushi or baked goods? It was a lot like that. I thought, ‘why don’t we DO anything like this?’ The religious experience—ANY religious experience—is a thing beyond everyday description. Do the Quakers have any control over this school and what is taught? NOW, the Bible is pretty clear on the subject of making images and gender. For instance on gender, Paul wrote in 1Timothy 3:16 that ‘God was manifest in the flesh…’.
John the Apostle wrote in John 1:14 that ‘…the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth’ John 1:14.
Of course both John and Paul were speaking of the Lord Jesus Christ. What gender was Jesus? That’s not hard to answer for when reading the Scriptures the only conclusion one can end with is; He was a male. As to Jesus’ Father ONLY male nouns and pronouns are used of Him. Now, that wasn’t hard, was it?!
So, why would the professors at Swarthmore College try to make the plain sense of Scripture say something else? Paul summed up the religious teaching at Swarthmore College when he wrote ‘Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils’ 1Timothy 4:1.
Recently I was sent a sermon preached by a man who is filling in for another minister who is on “a 3 month vicar swap”. I read the sermon and almost immediately this man openly declared where he was theologically. In the third paragraph of his “sermon” he mentions positively The Jesus Seminar’s Marcus Borg. Borg is a fulfillment of the words of 1Timothy 4:1 “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils”. Borg and all apostates preach another gospel.
There are several other things this visiting minister said in that sermon that shows he is in the same theological apostate camp as Borg. He said “salvation is occasionally about an afterlife-but most of the time it is not.” He goes on to say “So also saved and saviour are not primarily about being saved from our sins so we can go to heaven.” Basically what this man believes is that the main thrust of salvation is political and as such “has two focal points justice and peace.”
Considering the justice of which he speaks; he says that some justice issues today are “human rights, gender equality, sexual orientation, and the environment”. This is typical of one who has departed (apostatized) from the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. In fact this visiting minister had a billboard placed in front of his own church the Christmas of 2012 which depicted the baby Jesus in a crib with a halo of rainbow colours. This man was asked about this depiction and he said Jesus may have been ‘gay, maybe not. Does it matter?’” That is blasphemous but typical of apostasy!
Men such as Borg and a multitude of others like him are described by Jude in his small but practical and pointed book. Jude describes the apostate well. In verse 4 Jude tells us that these apostates are men who have “crept in unawares”. These three words are one Greek word and is only used here. It speaks of one who settles alongside, to lodge stealthily, unnoticed. They act like and look like a believing Christian.
These are those of whom Paul speaks in Acts 20: 29 who are “grievous wolves” and “enter in among you, not sparing the flock.” These wolves have crept into the churches via the side door unawares with the very intent of teaching another gospel. The apostates are “ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Their gospel according to Jude is “the way of Cain” which is a bloodless and faithless gospel. The writer to the Hebrews said “By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain”. That “more excellent sacrifice” was by blood and faith.
God’s Word tell us in Genesis “that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD. And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering: But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect.” Why? It was because Abel had faith whereas Cain did not and Abel’s sacrifice was a blood sacrifice whereas Cain’s was not! Today’s apostate is the same as Cain!
As Jude says these apostates are likened to the Israelites which the Lord destroyed because they “believed not.” The apostate lacks saving faith. They know intellectually the truth but willingly reject it. Then Jude compares the apostate to “the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation”. They openly rebelled against God and because of that they are “reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.” There is a judgment day coming for the apostate. They do not have saving faith for they have rebelled and denied “the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ”. The apostate may be the most likeable person in the crowd but they are a rebel and in open opposition to God and God’s Word.
The apostate is also like “Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.” They defend the sodomite life and many of them give themselves over to such “strange flesh”. As we draw closer to the coming of our Saviour in the air the the louder will some who claim to be evangelical defend the sodomite life; showing by this that they themselves are apostate. Note 1Co 6:9 – 11 “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.” NOTE, “such WERE some of you BUT” you are no longer. This includes no longer being effeminate not an abuser with mankind. There has been a heart and life change through faith in the person and work of Christ.
Surprisingly the apostate is also a separatist. Yes, you read that correctly. Jude says they “separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.” The apostate is a separatist but the wrong kind. He has separated from godliness and from God’s Spirit but is separated unto sensualness and have “the spirit of this world”.
However, Jude does not leave those of us who know the Lord Jesus Christ in despair. As the apostate so often receives the accolades of the world Jude tells us to be “building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And of some have compassion, making a difference: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.”
