Yesterday I wrote concerning a celebrity Christian comedian and his having to cancel his upcoming tour due to sinful actions in his life. Today, another celebrity of the world has professed his faith in Christ, Kayne West, and is taking the churches and Christendom in general by storm. 
However, should a new Christian be applauded and allowed to ‘perform’ before he has time to grow in his new found faith?
Paul said to Timothy in 1 Timothy 5:22 Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men’s sins: keep thyself pure. Then there is 1 Timothy 3:6 Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.
West is according to his own testimony a new convert to Christianity. Matthew Henry in commenting on 1 Timothy 5:22 says ‘”Be not too hasty in laying hands on any; remit not the censure of the church to any, till time be first taken for the proof of their sincerity in their repentance, neither be partakers of other men’s sins, implying that those who are too easy in remitting the censures of the church encourage others in the sins which are thus connived at, and make themselves thereby guilty.” I personally believe this is a verse along with 1 Timothy 3: 6 that should be followed in this and all cases of new converts.
West is definitely a novice to the Christian faith. Now, if West is saved he needs time to grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
However, if West is NOT saved then he and those opening their churches for him to perform are not helping him but are helping him along with others straight to hell.
This will NOT end well.
Proverbs 15:13 A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance and 17:22 A merry heart doeth good like a medicine
This word ‘merry’ in Proverbs 15:13 and 17: 22 is also translated joyful, rejoice/d, and glad in other passages of Scripture. The Scriptures therefore do promote a joyful, merry heart and life. However, that doesn’t mean that a born again believer should be frivolous, crude, or off colour in what they listen to or in their own speech.
The letter to the church at Ephesus tells us what type of talk should proceed out of a believers mouth. In Ephesians 4: 29 we read Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. Then in Ephesians 5:3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; 4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.
Now, I say all of this because another ‘Christian’ celebrity has ‘fallen’. 
Fallen from where I cannot say but he was a celebrity and a Christian to many within Christendom. How and why? For some inexcusable reason the churches and Christians in general seem to seek Christians that have something to satisfy some individual need and this celebrity comedian filled that void and was worthy of their attention and money. As history shows, a celebrity status all too often leads to the works of the flesh.
So where to from here? Here are four things that should be occurring within the churches and Christendom.
There are many more things that could be included but these four should be a good beginning. Now, in closing remember Titus 2:11-15 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; 13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; 14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. 15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.
When Australians voted in 2017 for a plebiscite to make so-called same-sex marriage legal it was not supposed to be used as a weapon against those who believe marriage is only between one man and one woman! Well, that isn’t the way it is and to tell you the truth I am sick and tired how those Christians who took a stand against this sin are being treated. For instance; ‘Tennis icon Margaret Court has once again divided opinion after calling on Tennis Australia (TA) to show her the same respect as Rod Laver when celebrating the 50th anniversary of her Grand Slam next year.
Court won all four majors in 1970 and finished her career with 24 grand slam singles titles — the most in history — but has sparked controversy in recent years with her outspoken opposition to same-sex marriage.
Gay marriage in Australia was legalised after the plebiscite in 2017 but Court disagrees with it on religious grounds because the Bible says marriage should be between a man and a woman.
The 77-year-old has been hounded for her views with plenty demanding the court honouring her at Melbourne Park have its name changed.’
Supposedly funny, ‘Australian comedian and host of Triple M Sydney’s breakfast program Lawrence Mooney said Court’s attitude towards gay people has no place in society.
“You can’t use ‘her views are popular’ and ‘she has a right to use them’ to be homophobic, you just can’t be,” Mooney told Channel 9’s Today program.
“And if you’re homophobic there’s no space for you in public life.
“Discriminating about sexuality is a crime, so it is legislated against.
“Margaret Court’s opinions on same sex marriage and sexuality are abhorrent and she should be hounded out of the sport until she falls into line.

If a person who do not believe in sodomite marriage used the language that is used against them in this abhorrent issue they would be in jail for a hate crime. The left seem to think hate is fine when directed at those who disagree with them and especially Christians! The Prime Minister is supposed to be a born-again Christian but he is a milk toast Christian when it comes to taking a stand on this issue and many other issues as well.
I believe, Mooney and those like him have the freedom to say what they believe concerning sodomites ‘marrying’ but those who disagree should have the same freedom to say what they believe and that is marriage is not for sodomites!
I was born white, I live my life as a white person and I suppose I will die white. Does, that make me a white supremacist? Well, here in the Land Down Under; ‘White Australian nurses must now apologize to minority patients for their white privilege before treatment! I would vigorously refuse to do so, so does that prove I’m a racist or a white supremacist?
Does pride in being white make me a white supremacist and if so, is a black person a black supremacist if he is proud of being black? If not, why not?
Being a white Christian does not reflect badly on those who don’t fit that description, just as my love and preference for my wife does no harm and is no criticism of those who disagree. Just because you think your wife is more beautiful than mine and your children and grandchildren are the brightest and most loveable does not make you a bigot. You are simply wrong, since mine are! (I have the test scores and photos to prove it!)

There are those in Australia who say there is no requirement for white nurses to apologise. They say “The codes do not require nurses or midwives to declare or apologise for white privilege.”
YET, ‘The CEO of the Congress of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Nurses and Midwives, Janine Mohamed, says cultural safety involves people learning about their own unconscious biases and how they affect the health care they deliver.’

If only people would believe God and His Word for it tells us God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation Acts 17:24,26.
Praise the Lord He has given simple folk like me access to those men and organisations that believe His Word and are able to explain the sciences, such as biology, in light of Biblical creation. ‘For more than a century, biologists have appealed to Darwinian natural selection to explain how living organisms adapt to different environments. But research over the last several decades has consistently dethroned Darwin’s view of natural selection. Rather than corroborating the concept that environments mold creatures through “survival of the fittest,” the research supports the astonishing idea that to a great extent creatures actively sense their environments and adapt accordingly.
Recent discoveries indicate that something radical and impressive is happening. Adaptation is a result of brilliant biological engineering rather than trial-and-error death and survival, which flips the mechanism of adaptation completely on its head. This approach views biological adaptation as primarily occurring through internal mechanisms (the ability to actively sense the environment and adapt) rather than external influence (the environment molds creatures through Darwinian natural selection).
Abundant evidence can be found that creatures actively sense their environments and responsively adapt. Many such adaptations occur within one generation or less, which is far too rapid for Darwin’s notion of trial-and-error natural selection. Here are only a few examples of what studies have shown:
Have we enjoyed the benefits of true freedom so long that we no longer appreciate them? This is hard to believe but ‘A majority of Americans believe the First Amendment 
should be rewritten and are willing to crack down on free speech, as well as the press, according to a new poll.
More than 60 percent of Americans agree on restricting speech in some way, while a slim majority, 51 percent, want to see the First Amendment rewritten to “reflect the cultural norms of today.” The Campaign for Free Speech, which conducted the survey, said the results “indicate free speech is under more threat than previously believed.”
“The findings are frankly extraordinary,” executive director Bob Lystad told the Washington Free Beacon. “Our free speech rights and our free press rights have evolved well over 200 years, and people now seem to be rethinking them.”
Of the 1,004 respondents, young people were the most likely to support curbing free expression and punishing those who engage in “hate speech.” Nearly 60 percent of Millennials—respondents between the ages of 21 and 38—agreed that the Constitution “goes too far in allowing hate speech in modern America” and should be rewritten, compared to 48 percent of Gen Xers and 47 percent of Baby Boomers. A majority of Millennials also supported laws that would make “hate speech” a crime—of those supporters, 54 percent said violators should face jail time.
American hostility to the First Amendment did not stop at speech. Many would also like to see a crackdown on the free press. Nearly 60 percent of respondents agreed that the “government should be able to take action against newspapers and TV stations that publish content that is biased, inflammatory, or false.” Of those respondents, 46 percent supported possible jail time.
The poll was released just two days after two University of Connecticut students were arrested for allegedly saying racial slurs in a viral video. The 21-year-old suspects were allegedly playing “a game in which they yelled vulgar words,” according to the police report. Lystad said such incidents and the rise of social media may be behind the increased willingness of Americans to curb speech rights.
“I think [our findings] are fueled in large part because of a rise of hate speech, but traditionally, hate speech is protected in the First Amendment,” Lystad said. “The Supreme Court has upheld that principle time and time again.”
Lystad launched the Campaign for Free Speech to advocate for preserving free and open dialogue in America. The group emphasizes that hate speech should be denounced, but does not think censorship is the answer. The group plans to push back against efforts to restrict speech at the local, state, and federal levels.

Climate change is the new religion that has drawn millions of followers into its clutches. Sadly, it seems, my home state of Iowa has many of these converts as seen in the thousands that recently gathered to hear Sweden’s Greta Thunberg in early October.

With governments and the UN bowing down to Greta and this new religion what John the Apostle wrote in Revelation 13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name just might be less than a decade away!
