‘Data released Sept. 17 by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) showed that between Dec. 14, 2020 and Sept. 10, 2021, a total of 701,561 adverse events following COVID vaccines were reported to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS). The data included a total of 14,925 reports of deaths — an increase of 419 over the previous week.
There were 91,523 reports of serious injuries, including the reports of deaths, during the same time period — up 3,352 compared with the previous week.
Excluding “foreign reports” filed in VAERS, 559,462 adverse events, including 6,756 deaths and 43,073 serious injuries, were reported in the U.S. between Dec. 14, 2020 and Sept. 10, 2021.
Of the 6,756 U.S. deaths reported as of Sept. 10, 12% occurred within 24 hours of vaccination, 17% occurred within 48 hours of vaccination and 31% occurred in people who experienced an onset of symptoms within 48 hours of being vaccinated.
In the U.S., 378.2 million COVID vaccine doses had been administered as of Sept. 10. This includes: 216 million doses of Pfizer, 148 million doses of Moderna and 15 million doses of Johnson & Johnson (J&J).
The data come directly from reports submitted to VAERS, the primary government-funded system for reporting adverse vaccine reactions in the U.S.
Every Friday, VAERS makes public all vaccine injury reports received as of a specified date, usually about a week prior to the release date. Reports submitted to VAERS require further investigation before a causal relationship can be confirmed.
This week’s U.S. data for 12- to 17-year-olds show:
- 19,827 total adverse events, including 1,169 rated as serious and 19 reported deaths. Two of the 19 deaths were suicides.
The most recent deaths involve one report of two patients [VAERS I.D. 1655100] who died after their second dose of Pfizer, including a 13-year-old female.
Other recent reported deaths include a 15-year-old boy (VAERS I.D. 1498080) who previously had COVID, was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy in May 2021 and died four days after receiving his second dose of Pfizer’s vaccine on June 18, when he collapsed on the soccer field and went into ventricular tachycardia; and a 13-year-old girl (VAERS I.D. 1505250) who died after suffering a heart condition after receiving her first dose of Pfizer.
- 2,972 reports of anaphylaxis among 12- to 17-year-olds with 99% of cases
attributed to Pfizer’s vaccine. - 488 reports of myocarditis and pericarditis (heart inflammation) with 481 cases attributed to Pfizer’s vaccine.
- 106 reports of blood clotting disorders, with all cases attributed to Pfizer.
This week’s U.S. VAERS data, from Dec. 14, 2020 to Sept. 10, 2021, for all age groups combined, show:
- 20% of deaths were related to cardiac disorders.
- 54% of those who died were male, 42% were female and the remaining death reports did not include gender of the deceased.
- The average age of death was 72.9.
- As of Sept. 10, 3,650 pregnant women reported adverse events related to COVID vaccines, including 1076 reports of miscarriage or premature birth.
- Of the 2,783 cases of Bell’s Palsy reported, 50% were attributed to Pfizer vaccinations, 42% to Moderna and 8% to J&J.
- 593 reports of Guillain-Barré syndrome, with 39% of cases attributed to Pfizer, 33% to Moderna and 27% to J&J.
- 149,681 reports of anaphylaxis with 42% of cases attributed to Pfizer’s vaccine, 51% to Moderna and 7% to J&J.
- 9,260 reports of blood clotting disorders. Of those, 3,968 reports were attributed to Pfizer, 3,376 reports to Moderna and 1,866 reports to J&J.
- 2,452 cases of myocarditis and pericarditis with 1,545 cases attributed to Pfizer, 806 cases to Moderna and 93 cases to J&J’s COVID vaccine.
FDA panel overwhelmingly rejects Pfizer boosters for healthy people 16 to 65 years old
On Sept. 17, a panel of scientific advisors to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) voted 16 to 2 against recommending a third shot of Pfizer’s COVID vaccine for healthy people 16 and older, but voted unanimously in favor of recommending the booster shot for the immunocompromised and all people 65 or older.
The vote came after a sharp debate in which many of the panel’s independent experts, including infectious disease doctors and statisticians, challenged whether the data justified a broad rollout of extra shots when the vaccines appear to still offer robust protection against severe COVID-19 disease and hospitalization, at least in the U.S.
Officials at the FDA previously had expressed skepticism about the need for Pfizer COVID vaccine booster shots in a 23-page document released Sept. 16, prior to the meeting, on the agency’s website.
The report analyzed data submitted by Pfizer and BioNTech as part of the drugmakers’ request for authorization for their vaccine to be given as a booster shot in people 16 years and older. FDA officials said, based on their analysis of data submitted by Pfizer and BioNTech, they could not yet take a stance on whether to recommend COVID boosters for the general public.
16-year-old Sara Green “wants life back” after developing neurological problems following Pfizer vaccine
Sarah Green was a healthy 16-year-old until she developed neurological problems after receiving her second dose of Pfizer’s COVID vaccine. In an exclusive interview with The Defender, Sarah (VAERS I.D. 1354500) and her mother, Marie Green, said they feel helpless because nobody will acknowledge Sarah’s vaccine injury and “nobody can help them.”
Sarah received her second dose of Pfizer on May 4, and immediately began experiencing headaches. She then developed facial twitches and tremors, lost the ability to write, cannot drive and had to drop two college classes, Green said.
Sarah has seen numerous doctors who refuse to acknowledge the vaccine caused her condition. One doctor said Sarah had functional movement disorder and it was not related to the vaccine — although she said she has seen more cases since COVID vaccines were approved because people “stress themselves out over the vaccine and it’s psychosomatic.”
Green said she and Sarah are not anti-vaxxers, but there are too many people having problems for them not to know there’s a problem with mRNA vaccines.
Champion show jumper, 22, develops blood clots after Moderna COVID Vaccine
Imogen Allen, 22, developed two blood clots in her lungs after receiving Moderna’s COVID vaccine and will be on blood thinners for the rest of her life, the Daily Mail reported. Allen was diagnosed with a bilateral pulmonary thromboembolism after collapsing while on a family vacation two weeks after being vaccinated.
Allen was told by doctors the clots could have been triggered by the vaccine alongside five years on the contraceptive pill. Allen, a champion show jumper, may never be able to ride a horse again and her dreams of becoming a police detective were dashed after she was left bedbound.
“I was always wary of something happening, and it just shows that I had every right to be, because look at me now,” Allen said.
Babies could be given COVID vaccines in U.S. this winter
Pfizer’s COVID vaccine could be rolled out to babies as young as 6 months in the U.S. this winter — under plans being drawn up by the pharmaceutical giant.
According to the Daily Mail, Pfizer plans to apply for authorization to immunize American infants within the next two months, although the timeline will depend on findings of in-house trials that assess safety and efficacy of children aged six months to 5 years.
Frank D’Amelio, CFO and executive vice president of global supply at Pfizer, said in an industry conference last week the firm plans to “go file” by November, the Financial Times reported.
“We would expect to have … data for children between the ages of 6 months and 5 years old that we would file with the FDA,” D’Amelio said at the Morgan Stanley Global Healthcare Conference. “I’ll call it in the weeks shortly thereafter the filing of the data for the 5- to 11-year-olds.”
Pfizer plans to seek approval from the FDA for the shots to be given in children aged 5 to 11 by October.
Young boys at higher risk of hospitalization from Pfizer vaccine than from COVID
According to a new pre-print study, healthy boys between the ages of 12 and 15, with no underlying medical conditions, were four to six times more likely to be diagnosed with vaccine-related myocarditis than they were to be hospitalized with COVID.
To identify children with evidence of cardiac injury, researchers reviewed reports submitted to VAERS of adolescents between the ages of 12 and 17 who received an mRNA COVID vaccine.
The researchers identified a total of 257 cardiac adverse events (CAE) using the CDC’s working case definition of myocarditis, and found the post-vaccination CAE rate was highest in 12- to 15-year-old boys following their second dose of Pfizer. About 86% of the boys affected required hospital care, the authors said.
Dr. Tracy Høeg, physician, epidemiologist and associate researcher at UC Davis, found the rate of myocarditis after two doses of Pfizer’s vaccine to be 162.2 cases per million for healthy 12- to 15-year-old boys, and 94 cases per million for healthy 16- to 17-year-old boys. The equivalent rates for girls were 13.4 and 13 cases per million, respectively.
At current U.S. infection rates, the risk of a healthy adolescent being taken to the hospital with COVID in the next 120 days is about 44 per million, they said.
Experts accuse CDC of ‘cherry-picking’ data on natural immunity
There is a growing body of literature that shows natural immunity not only confers robust, durable and high-level protection against COVID, but also provides better protection than vaccine-induced immunity.
Yet, the CDC is ignoring the science of natural immunity when it comes to COVID, while acknowledging it for other diseases, said Dr. Marty Makary, professor of surgery and health policy at Johns Hopkins University. On Sept. 14, Makary said on the “Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show,” the agency is providing contradictory, “illogical” COVID messaging. He accused the CDC of “cherry-picking” data and manipulating public health guidance surrounding vaccines and natural immunity to support a political narrative.
Makary explained how the CDC’s current guidance for chickenpox, for example, does not encourage those who have contracted it to vaccinate themselves against the virus. The CDC only recommends two doses of chickenpox vaccine for children, adolescents and adults who have never had chickenpox.
Makary called the conflicting guidance “absolutely illogical,” and accused the agency of “ignoring natural immunity.” He added the CDC is engaging in a statistical technique called “fishing,” where “you look for a tiny sliver of data that supports what you already believe.”

According to the CDC website, “the CDC follows up on any report of death to request additional information and learn more about what occurred and to determine whether the death was a result of the vaccine or unrelated.”
On March 8, The Defender contacted the CDC with a written list of questions about reported deaths and injuries related to COVID vaccines. We have made repeated attempts, by phone and email, to obtain a response to our questions.
Despite multiple phone and email communications with many people at the CDC, and despite being told that our request was in the system and that someone would respond, we have not yet received answers to any of the questions we submitted. It has been 194 days since we sent our first email to the CDC requesting information.

‘Over the weekend the Herald Sun ran with a story headline, “Three year olds identifying as gender diverse”.
Most three-year-olds couldn’t even pronounce the words “gender diverse” let alone understand what they mean.
Most three-year-olds would also identify as unicorns, fairies, puppy dogs or firemen.
That doesn’t mean we indulge such fantasies by labelling them reality.
We encourage children to play, explore and experiment. It is how they learn.
They also learn by understanding when playtime is over and teaching them how to deal with real life circumstances. To enable them to grow up to be healthy adults we have to teach them resilience, perseverance, delayed gratification, resourcefulness, and responsibility.
Interfering with a child’s natural development and curiosity will not bode well for society. Prescribing medications to make them drug dependant for life – having to rely on daily meds to keep up the appearance of appropriating the opposite sex – is cruel and dangerous.
There is little-to-no long term data to show just how damaging it could be. In fact, all evidence so far indicates up to 80 per cent of gender confused children will outgrow their confusion by the time they have gone through puberty if they are not interfered with.
Yet gender clinics, cheered on by extremists, seem all too happy to run down this pathway of medical transitioning.
What will be the cost to this innocent generation of children?
How many more tragic stories of de-transitioners will we have to hear before our politicians and doctors say enough is enough?’

‘When clergy sex crimes come to light, the scars extend far beyond the individuals who are sexually exploited. Church members experience shock and grief, and congregations can be permanently weakened or destroyed. Anguished wives and children are thrust into the spotlight. Communities experience broken trust. Parents strategize ways to discuss horrific topics with their children. Everyone who knows—or thought they knew—the perpetrator asks, Did I miss the signs? Is there something I could’ve done to prevent all of this?
The most recent cases follow a familiar pattern. Pastors and other Christian workers get hooked on child porn they access through the dark web and apps, sometimes staging and filming sex acts themselves, but often keeping these activities completely walled off from their churches and public identities.
In many cases, churches didn’t have or failed to follow protocols for detecting inappropriate computer usage. Churches were caught completely off guard, sometimes along with other local institutions. The abuse might likely be continuing even now if it hadn’t been for outside organizations that detected the illicit activity and reached out to local and/or federal law enforcement.
The latest cases feature pastors from the Southern Baptist Convention, America’s largest Protestant denomination, which has recently faced a number of cases of sexual misconduct and crimes. The Houston Chronicle’s database records the gruesome toll: more than 700 victims, nearly 400 SBC leaders and volunteers facing allegations, with more than 250 charged with sex crimes. As we reported in November, an additional database, Baptist Accountability, features more than 500 people representing “Baptists of all flavors,” not just SBC.
But the alleged perpetrators also include Methodist pastors, a Nazarene pastor who filmed and uploaded child porn, and leaders from independent congregations.
William Milam, 62, pastor of Olivet Baptist Church, a Southern Baptist Convention congregation in Milton, Florida, was well known for preaching against the evils of alcohol. He preached his sermon at the church as usual on Sunday, Dec. 13.
The next day, it became clear Milam was hiding a darker side when he was arrested and charged with two counts of promoting sexual performance of a child and 25 counts of possession of child pornography. Employing the user name “willjones6969,” Milam had obtained images of children as young as three engaging in sexual acts that were stored on various devices in his home. He is being held in jail on a $2.7 million bond.
Church members were dumbfounded, according to a statement: “The church was shocked to hear about the arrest of its former pastor. We are in fervent prayer for all involved; including law enforcement as they seek to uncover the truth in this situation.”
Shawn Fitzgerald, 46, fooled not only the people at First Methodist Church of Bartow, Florida, where he served as director of youth services—he was also a Lakeland High School teacher who coached soccer and tennis.
He was arrested Nov. 20 and initially charged with 408 counts of child pornography and jailed on a $2 million bond after law enforcement used technology to crack open a hidden vault of horrific images featuring children as young as ten months old on his cell phone. More charges may be forthcoming as they comb through the computer images, and investigators are trying to determine if the children featured in the images are local.
“His entire life and church life was interacting with children and young adults,” said Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd. Judd’s office began their investigation after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children alerted them that Fitzgerald has used the KIK Messenger app to upload a 20-second video of a young female performing oral sex on an adult male.
David Pettigrew, 48, pastor of Dennison Church of the Nazarene in Denison, Texas since 2006, was even more audacious.
Starting in 2016, Pettigrew and a local chiropractor worked together to persuade minors into performing sexual acts that they could film and share with others. He was arrested last year by Department of Homeland Security agents and indicted in federal court for conspiring to sexually exploit children, also known as producing child pornography.
Pettigrew, a father of three, worked as a substitute teacher in the Sherman Independent School District, where his wife has worked as a first grade teacher. He was also a board member of a foster parent association. If convicted, he could serve 15-30 years.
As in other cases, it was a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that launched an investigation, which is ongoing. “The investigation has revealed that a number of children were surreptitiously photographed in private locations or outside of the presence of their parents,” said a federal official.
We wish these three cases were the only ones on the pastors-and-porn police blotter, but there’s more.
John Robert Griffin, 73, an associate professor at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, FL, was also an elder who ministered to senior adults at Riverbend Community Church, a Southern Baptist Convention congregation in nearby Ormond Beach. He was arrested in January after police found more than 200 sexually explicit photos in his home and charged him with 30 felony counts of possessing child pornography. Further charges are possible. An Embry-Riddle spokesperson said, “We are very dismayed to learn about these charges and allegations.” Initially, the church declined to comment to the media.
John Hackmann Jr., 45, pastor of Marion First United Methodist Church in Marion, Illinois, was arrested in November and faces felony charges for child pornography and intimidation.
But the strangest case may be north of the border with Canada. In Chilliwack, east of Vancouver, John (Johannes) Vermeer, the former executive pastor of the Main Street Church, is accused of accessing and possessing child porn on the church’s computer in 2010 and 2015. I am almost 76 and way back in the late 50’s Saturday mornings were often spent watching ‘funny’ cartoons such as Daffy Duck, etc. None of the cartoons that I know of had the sole purpose of causing the viewer to question what gender they were! If they had an agenda other than being funny I am not sure what it was BUT NOT so today! The cartoon industry along with many others are out to get our children and in that change society. It’s pretty clear most of those who seek to change society are atheist/Marxist leaning individuals and one way it seems to change society is getting young people to question their gender.
Recently the ‘Cartoon Network released a comic strip highlighting the importance of respecting ‘many gender identities’ and loving a person no matter their preferred pronoun.
On Monday, the Twitter account associated with Cartoon Network tweeted a new series with the caption: “Here’s to not only normalizing gender pronouns, but respecting them, too.”
“Whether you use he/she/them or something else, we acknowledge and LOVE you!” it added, along with a link to the “Gender Justice Tool Kit” which it said was “designed to facilitate conversations that can save lives.”
The comic strips in the new series were created in partnership with the National Black Justice Coalition, a leftist, pro-LGBT organization.
Included with the tweet, was a comic strip featuring Stevonnie from Steven Universe and Craig from Craig of the Creek meeting two new friends, Kam and Alex.
“Gender pronouns describe a person’s gender identity,” one part of the comic strip read. “Examples of pronouns are she/her, they/them, an ze/zir. A lot of people are learning about gender. If you’re comfortable, you can share your own pronouns.”
“We can’t tell someone’s gender just by looking at them and shouldn’t assume we know,” the comic strip added. “There are many gender identities beyond ‘girl’ or ‘boy.’ Some people don’t identify as any gender.”
In a second part of the strip, two of the characters are talking about the pronouns they like to identify themself with, such as “they/them.”

Government has its hands in EVERY facet of one’s life from birth to death. President Reagan was so right when he said the most chilling words one can hear are ” I’m from the Government, and I’m here to help”. Sadly, those in power are also LIARS! But as Tasmanian Liberal Senator Claire Chandler points out in this speech delivered in Parliament yesterday, children’s health is now being imperilled and the freedom to speak about it is being criminalised. Below is an edited extract.
In Britain last week, a momentous judgment with international implications was handed down by the High Court. The court found in favour of the arguments put forward by the mother of a child with gender dysphoria and Keira Bell, a brave 23-year-old woman who had been prescribed puberty blockers at 16 after three short appointments with the Tavistock youth gender clinic.
The judges observed that prescribing puberty blockers to children with gender dysphoria is an “experimental treatment” with “real uncertainty over the short and long-term consequences of the treatment with very limited evidence as to its efficacy”.
Given the potential lifelong effects on fertility, sexual function, bone density and development, as well as a lack of evidence of the full long-term impacts, the court found that children are very unlikely to be able to adequately understand and give informed consent to these experimental treatments. This judgment has profound implications for Australia — not that you would know it from the muted, in some cases non-existent, coverage by many media outlets.
Let’s look at what is happening right now in Australia and how out of step it is with what has been found in Britain’s High Court. Last month, The Australian’s Bernard Lane reported on a court removing a child from their parents because they wanted psychologists to consider other possible factors in their child’s gender dysphoria and the potential for non-invasive treatments.
The parents told The Weekend Australian state authorities have said it’s dangerous for the child to come back to their house because they want a thorough assessment by an independent psychologist and haven’t consented to testosterone treatment. The parents know their child needs help and support, and they want it to be provided by medical experts in an evidence-based way.
For this, their child has been taken away from them by the state. The mother said their family and friends were shocked at their story — “they just can’t believe that it happens in Australia”.
Last week, as Britain’s High Court was finalising its findings, the Victorian government was introducing legislation that criminalises discussion of the very same issues highlighted by the court.
The Victorian legislation makes any conduct or practice that is not seen as “gender affirming” potentially illegal. The definition is so broad that it includes conversations and online discussion. Under this bill, Bell — a woman who has been through the transition process and had a court uphold the legitimacy of her concerns regarding that process — could be charged with a crime if she discusses her experience with a young Victorian experiencing gender dysphoria.
If the bill passes, the Victorian Human Rights Commission would get extraordinary powers to launch investigations into people questioning gender change practices and to “take any action it considers appropriate after conducting an investigation”.
It would also “offer education to persons and organisations engaged in change or suppression practices” — practices can include conversation about gender identity theory and the risks of medical treatment on children.
If this legislation isn’t Orwellian and dangerous enough on its own, it has been introduced by the Victorian government at the exact time states are supposed to be working together to develop a model for safe and appropriate care and treatment of children with gender dysphoria.
How can the Victorian government play a central role in developing an evidence-based model of care while simultaneously introducing a law criminalising any treatment that is not “gender affirming”? The same has to be asked of the Queensland and the ACT governments, which have also forced through similar laws in the past year.
In Australia, just as in Britain, the number of children and adolescents being treated for gender dysphoria with “gender affirming” medical interventions has skyrocketed in recent years.
Patient numbers at Britain’s Tavistock clinic rose from 97 in 2009 to 2519 in 2018. We know from Freedom of Information data that referrals to Victoria’s Royal Children’s Hospital gender clinic rose by more than 1700 per cent between 2012 and last year.
We have no idea what the national figures are because states do not release the data on how many children are given puberty blockers, hormone treatment and surgery. We don’t even know if this data is kept.

The Lord Jesus quoted from that passage when He answered the question about divorce, insisting that since they were created from the same body, no one should attempt to separate them during marriage (Mark 10:5-9).
Now, in addition to the created order, we have the model of love demonstrated by the Lord Jesus Christ on behalf of the Church (Ephesians 5:25-27) and instructions on how men should “dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered” (1 Peter 3:7).
The “honor” that men are to grant to their wives includes a conscious effort not to be “bitter” against them. That word, pikraino, describes an attitude of exasperation, even including a tendency to become indignant or irritated.
Furthermore, godly fathers must be careful not to stimulate “strife” (contention, wrangling) among their children. Fathers who engender strife in their home guarantee that the children will become discouraged. The father must control his own “passion” while encouraging strength of character and a drive to excel among his children.
Without a strong commitment and willing obedience to God’s Word by the husband and father, the family will suffer turmoil and may be torn apart. The following article is concerning a book that’s whole intent is to draw young people into the fluid LGBTQI (sodomite) family. Now the library is helping promote that lifestyle by promoting such a book.
‘Children typically learn their ABC’s at 4 or 5 years old. At that age it remains the responsibility of the village around them to protect them from anything that would harm them.
At the age of 4, children can’t always discern what is real and what is make-believe. Modern life, with its many distractions, can be confusing for young children.
Why then would Council libraries nationwide promote the LGBTQ-themed book, The GayBCs?
In this book for children aged 4-8 years old, the T no longer stands for Turtle, Train, or Top. No… T is for TRANS. The text continues…
“B is for Bi. You can shout it out loud: ‘I like boys and girls, and that makes me proud!’ C is for Coming Out. You’re ready to share what you feel deep inside; it’s okay to be scared.”
The book encourages little children to follow the gender path they feel like they are inside. And we wonder why increasing numbers of children nationally are confused about who they are and are struggling with mental disorders!
Children are being brainwashed into adopting a transgender lifestyle before they even enter school. This path, followed to its logical conclusion, ends up with pre-pubescent children receiving hormone treatment, followed by surgical mutilation, infertility, and a lifetime of tortured regret.
Protecting children is everyone’s business. Council libraries are funded by your tax dollars. They used to be quiet sanctuaries where children studied, families visited, and people read.
They have become yet another battle front in the culture war against the innocence of our children. “Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.” (Colossians 3:18)
‘This instruction has created an undue amount of “interpretation” over the past century. The terminology is not unclear, but the culture (particularly in the Western world) has resisted the idea that God has specifically designed the structure of the family—beginning with the role of the wife and mother in the home.
She is to “submit” to her husband. The Greek word is hupotasso, a compound term that simply describes an “orderly arrangement.” Obviously, the instructions assume obedience to the design for human procreation “from the beginning of the creation” (Mark 10:6-7) and an understanding of the judgment handed down to humanity in Genesis 3.
That sentence on women (through Eve) is placed on all women, since “Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression” (1 Timothy 2:14). Also included in the description in Genesis 3:16 is that the woman will “long” (Hebrew teshuqateh) for her husband, and her husband will “have power” (Hebrew mashal) over her.
The arrangement, therefore, is designed to prevent further debility and to protect the woman through the man’s willing obedience to love her sacrificially and unconditionally, as “Christ loved the church.”
Ultimately, of course, all obedience is voluntary. Wives are to “arrange” themselves under their husband’s authority, knowing that the instructions are given by an omnipotent and omniscient heavenly Father whose care for each of us is greater than we can imagine.
