Song of Solomon 2:1 I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys.
I am waiting for Australia to have another wave of China Virus when we depart summer and enter winter in June, 2021. If it does occur it will be interesting what ‘silly’ illogical rules our politicians will seek to have enforced. In the UK ‘On Thursday 5 November, England entered a second national lockdown.
Churches have been deemed unsafe and have been banned from meeting for worship with threat of criminal sanction. Church is considered unsafe and a danger to communities.
But as lockdown began, Health Secretary Matt Hancock clarified to the House of Commons that one ‘reasonable’ reason for leaving home is travelling abroad to commit suicide.‘https://christianconcern.com/comment/church-too-dangerous-but-travelling-abroad-to-commit-suicide-is-reasonable/
A Christian or conservative opinion is not wanted in many circles and there is often a price to pay.
‘Mary Douglas had served as a Conservative councillor in Salisbury for nearly 15 years before being removed from her portfolio role for skills and social mobility in November 2019 as a result of the stance she took against the use of public money to fund a Pride event.
Supported by the Christian Legal Centre, Mary challenged the council’s decision to bring code of conduct proceedings against her on the allegation that she acted in a manner which ‘contravened the public sector equality duty’. Following the hearing, the council concluded that Mary did have the right under Article 10 of the European Convention on Human Rights to express her opposition.
Mary commented: “I am relieved and thankful for this outcome. If the council had found against me, it would have set a precedent that I and other public officials are not allowed to disagree with groups of people, events or political messages with which we disagree. Such a verdict would effectively end conversation, debate and the ability to express a belief and opinion.
“To disagree is not to disrespect. In fact, to take the trouble to express disagreement with someone is a mark of respect. Across UK society, we must be able to disagree with each other while also holding each other in the highest esteem. To be able to say what we think and believe is vital for democracy, community cohesion and good decision making.”‘https://christianconcern.com/cccases/mary-douglas/

Target is as Woke as any company can get and is only one of many examples that ‘...it doesn’t take much to make a major corporation give in to the Church of Progressivism these days, does it? Target became the latest company to prostrate itself before the altar of the woke after a Twitter user complained about a book in its inventory.
On Thursday, Target posted a tweet stating that it will stop selling “Irreversible Damage: The Transgender Craze Seducing Our Daughters,” by Abigail Shrier because it discusses the transgender movement and its effect on young girls. The company made its decision after a user informed it of the anti-woke content in the book.
“Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention. We have removed this book from our assortment,” the company tweeted after being confronted by an activist whose account is now locked.’https://redstate.com/jeffc/2020/11/13/target-removes-book-critical-of-transgenderism-after-progressive-wokesplains-n279401
Claims of 100-Million-Year-Old Bacteria Unfounded from Institute for Creation Research on Vimeo.
‘Evolutionary scientists recently claimed to have discovered bacteria that are 101.5 million years old. In 2010 researchers collected deep-sea sediment cores in the South Pacific as part of the Integrated Ocean Drilling Program, with the goal of examining seafloor life and habitability in one of the lowest-productive ocean areas. Sediment samples used in the analysis were taken from depths of up to 75 meters below the seafloor at several sites in water between 3,700 and 5,700 meters (12,100 to 18,700 feet) deep.1
Publishing in Nature Communications, Yuki Morono of the Kochi Institute for Core Sample Research, Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology, and his colleagues added a special blend of nutrients to nearly 7,000 individual bacteria collected from the sediments. This food source contained a unique mix of carbon and nitrogen isotopes that allowed scientists to see if the bacteria were actively feeding.1 Co-author Steven D’Hondt, a University of Rhode Island oceanographer, said of the bacteria, “We didn’t know whether we had fully functioning cells or zombies capable of doing very few things.”2
Within 68 days, the distinctive tracer isotopes began showing up in the bacteria cultures, indicating the bacteria were feeding on the nutrients. The bacteria also reproduced, “increasing total numbers by four orders of magnitude” during the study.1
The scientists found this truly amazing since the bacteria had been taken from mud trapped between layers of impermeable porcellanite, a microcrystalline variety of quartz that no microbe could penetrate.1,2 This led the study’s authors to suggest the microbes could be as old as the sediments they were found in, essentially having been trapped in a time capsule. Colin Barras of NewScientist observed:
Many biologists are unsettled by the idea that individual bacterial cells could survive for 100 million years. There have been a handful of claims for even older microbes on Earth. One team claimed in 2000 to have resurrected microbes trapped inside 250-million-year-old salt crystals, but some researchers suspect that the microbes were seen as a result of sample contamination, which is unlikely to be the case in the new study.2
Claiming that bacteria can survive trapped in sediment for over 100 million years seems like science fiction. And yet, scientists have found cells, proteins, and flexible blood vessels in dinosaurs and other animals dated by secular scientists at 66 to over 500 million years.3 These discoveries question the great ages assigned to these creatures and instead suggest these fossils are just thousands of years old.
In light of these other fossil discoveries, there appear to be two possible solutions for these deep-sea bacteria: 1) the bacteria were not trapped for 101.5 million years, suggesting that there were fractures or conduits in the porcellanite that allowed bacteria to migrate in at a more recent date; or 2) these sediments and the bacteria found in them are not really millions of years old.
Either one of these scenarios better explains the presence of living bacteria in deep-ocean sediments compared to the tale spun by secular scientists. However, the earlier discoveries of so many original proteins and cells found in so-called ancient rocks makes solution number two the most likely one.
These bacteria, if indeed trapped in sediment at the time of deposition, are only thousands of years old. The ocean sediments, and possibly the bacteria too, were deposited during the global Flood described in Genesis. Claiming these bacteria are over 100 million years old is not based on empirical science but on a secular, deep-time worldview.

Matthew Henry, the non-conformist, wrote ‘This psalm has something of David in it, but much more of Christ. It begins with such expressions of devotion as may be applied to Christ; but concludes with such confidence of a resurrection (and so timely a one as to prevent corruption) as must be applied to Christ, to him only, and cannot be understood of David, as both St. Peter and St. Paul have observed, Ac 2:24; 13:36. For David died, and was buried, and saw corruption.’
Whether Sleepy Joe gets in or not the elite will be changing your life and mine. These people and their agenda will not only change our life but in reality it will be a total destruction of the life we have known. At the World Economic Forum they warn us that ‘Now, more than ever before, the world is seeing unprecedented international support to address climate change. Yet, delivering on global agreements and accelerating true, tangible action on such a pressing issue has been hindered due to the lack of one essential element.
Cooperation.
That’s why we’ve brought key players together to initiate true change, through the Climate Initiatives. The initiatives use the World Economic Forum platform and network to spur greater action against climate change, ensuring that businesses, governments and civil society cooperate in strength to meet commitments and truly accelerate achievements on the issue worldwide.’https://www.weforum.org/our-impact/accelerating-climate-action
Cooperation to these people means submission. Our governments in the West have sold us down the proverbial river. President Trump has been the one obstacle in their way and now perhaps that obstacle has been removed.
The Prime Minister of Australia, who professes to be a Christian, is one of those in the West who has sold his people down the climate scam river to be sold on the wharf of human slavery to supposedly save the planet. As if our not using heat or air conditioning or walking rather than driving will save this planet. Can we the the little people do anything to stop this madness? It doesn’t seem our hope is in the ballot box as these leftist/Marxist elites seem to control it as well.
Blogging is one way to release the inner tension but it all too often falls on deaf ears. However, our real and only hope is in the Creator Who is in control of the climate. Genesis 8:22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
When the Devilcrat/Marxist/Socialist/Communists fraudulently take this 2020 election it is not only ridding the government of President Trump but also the rights of its citizens. This means that the Bill of Rights which the American people have or had will no longer be worth the paper it is written on.
It has to be admitted that this hate is not only of President Trump but also of the average freedom loving conservative minded American and ‘From the moment he was declared the winner of the 2016 US presidential election, Donald Trump’s occupation of the White House has been viewed by his opponents as illegitimate.
First, it was argued that his rival, Senator Hillary Clinton, won 2.2 per cent more popular votes. Moreover, the people who voted for Trump were mainly the less-educated from the outer suburbs and smaller towns: Clinton’s ‘basket of deplorables’.
For Washington’s self-appointed czars, these labourers and hayseeds had put their natural order of things at risk. A crass outsider had been elected without their permission. Conservative commentator, Kurt Schlichter, described their condescending reaction as, ‘you want to have a say in our government and… look what happens when you do. You elect the wrong people. People like Trump.’
Clearly, Donald Trump is an outsider. His shrill tweets and blunt exchanges with world leaders embarrass DC elitists. His effective, if unconventional, negotiating style makes them cringe. It’s also an easy target for an ‘insider’ media which unreasonably characterises his successes as ‘more pain than gain’. Even when he outed 24 Nato members for failing to honour their 2006 financial commitments, he was labelled ‘disrupter in chief’. Perhaps. But at least Nato members will now pick up a larger share of the tab saving Washington nearly $300 million a year.
Needless to say, in Beijing, Brussels, Geneva and Paris, Trump’s ‘America First’ approach makes him persona non grata. In particular, his withdrawal from the Paris climate agreement sent rent-seekers everywhere into panic mode, worried their $1.5 trillion climate change cartel was under serious threat. Efforts were redoubled to ensure no other country followed.
Whatever his critics at home and abroad say, his supporters see him as a president who finally stands up for the United States of America. Despite unremitting distractions, he delivered record high employment for minorities. Nearly four million people were lifted off food stamps. He introduced better, more affordable health care through a transparent, lower cost, patient-focused system. He even brokered peace between the UAE, Bahrain, Sudan and Israel, any one of which would have assured President Obama another Nobel Peace prize. Yet, Trump’s feat was dismissed because ‘those countries already communicate and engage with Israel’. And, despite the Democrats initially downplaying Covid and accusing Trump of racism for his early imposition of travel restrictions with China, it is he who is blamed for mishandling the coronavirus response, not incompetent governors and mayors.
But his achievements don’t count. Only his missteps do. As he says, he is the victim of ‘the greatest political witch hunt in history’ and, since the day he ran against Hillary Clinton, his opponents have been determined to get rid of him.
Gregg Jarrett, in his book, The Russia Hoax: The Illicit Scheme to Clear Hillary Clinton and Frame Donald Trump, describes the FBI as ‘an all-powerful, out of control, rogue agency’. In corroborated testimony, FBI Special Agent William Barnett exposed how the bureau’s investigation of Donald Trump was based on nothing more than ‘supposition on supposition’.
Worse, FBI director, James Comey and his colleagues knew the bureau’s sources were not credible. It has also been revealed that the General Service Administration secretly gave protected Trump Transition Team records to the FBI and the Mueller investigation. Yet after nearly three years of intense probing, orchestrated leaks and unending damaging headlines for the president, Robert Mueller finally conceded there was no evidence.
By contrast, a story in the New York Post, releasing damaging emails from Hunter Biden’s laptop, which support a ‘pay for play’ arrangement involving the former vice president and his son, was buried. Acting like arms of an authoritarian state media, Twitter and Facebook blocked readership. Most major networks similarly censored the revelation, despite Hunter Biden’s former business partner verifying authenticity.
Regardless of whether or not President Trump enjoys a second term, the real story of his presidency (and re-election?) is the emergence from the shadows of a well-organised, powerful movement, largely aligned to the radical Left. Until Trump, it had tolerated marginal political change, confident that control of the bureaucracy and the judiciary was an effective brake. Having failed to contain Trump, the Left is determined under a Biden administration to stack the Supreme Court with socialist judges.
Whatever Donald Trump’s flaws and however much he is hated for interrupting the onward march of socialism, his election was, after all, constitutional. It fulfilled, possibly for the last time, the promise outlined in the Declaration of Independence that governments derive ‘their just powers from the consent of the governed’.
For the last four years that promise and others within the Declaration have been under attack from those who view America’s history and social structure as basically bad. They spurn the system which allows people like Trump, who presidential historian Jon Meacham describes as ‘anguished, nervous white men with a lizard brain’, to vote.
Unsurprisingly a growing number of Trump supporters have become shy about openly declaring their allegiance. Attacks on them are all over Twitter and Youtube. They have been punched, pelted with eggs and had their Make America Great Again hats ripped off and burned.
Unlike those who reject American exceptionalism, Trump supporters collectively embrace traditional libertarian values and are concerned by the growing coalition of big government, big business and the radical green Left, which continues to marginalise them. They watch with alarm donations to the Biden campaign from finance leaders on Wall Street and across the country, running at five times the rate going to Trump.
To them a Trump loss means the surrender of even more precious freedoms as government’s reach – already far broader than the Constitution ever intended – becomes more and more intrusive. Whatever else this election is about, it may finally determine whether the US Bill of Rights is worth the paper it’s written on.’https://www.spectator.com.au/2020/10/people-like-trump/
Mark Latham is an Australian politician with the New South Wales One Nation Party. He is an atheist but makes more sense in political matters than our professing ‘Christian’ Prime Minister. Anyway, I follow Mark on Facebook and Twitter. This is what he had to say of this Presidential election. ‘Funniest thing is ‘progressives’ calling for calm and unity in USA, after 4 years of mad attacks on Trump, denying his legitimacy in winning Presidency 2016. Old demented, bumbling Joe, the beneficiary of electoral fraud, is illegitimate from his first moments 2020.’http://Real Mark Latham @RealMarkLatham
In the Australian state of New South Wales the Woodhen of Lord Howe Island is worth more than an unborn baby! Yes, you read that right! I too could not believe it but in a way I could. Our politicians are dull of hearing when it comes to killing babies but not when it comes to the climate scam or protecting birds. Well, anyway at NSW Right to Life one of their members recently ‘…phoned in to chat and share ideas as many of our members do.
This gentleman was telling me how he visited Lord Howe Island recently and was struck by how the Lord Howe Woodhen is protected while our unborn are not.
Noting that the Lord Howe Island Group is administered by a local board which comes under the state of NSW, I thought this was an excellent point so I decided to look it up in more detail. Here is what I found:

This is just another reminder that our unborn here in NSW receive less protection than many of our animals. All legal pretence and protection was stripped away last year and we must not forget this.’https://righttolifensw.org.au/the-lord-howe-woodhen-vs-nsw-unborn-humans/
