It does seem at least to me, that there are today more and more groups calling themselves “Christian” that are applauding and promoting the Sodomite life. However, that lifestyle is not called Sodomy anymore but is now known by letters from the alphabet; LGBTQUIA etc. etc. Well, someone can call themselves whatever they desire but that doesn’t make it true or Biblically accepted. Israel was a theocracy under the headship of the Creator Himself and this is what it says in the Old Testament concerning those called by the name Sodomite.
1Kings 14:24 And there were also sodomites in the land: and they did according to all the abominations of the nations which the LORD cast out before the children of Israel. 1Kings 15:12 And he took away the sodomites out of the land, and removed all the idols that his fathers had made. 1Kings 22:46 And the remnant of the sodomites, which remained in the days of his father Asa, he took out of the land. 2Kings 23:7 And he brake down the houses of the sodomites, that were by the house of the LORD, where the women wove hangings for the grove.
Of course most people know of Sodom and what occurred there! Now, in the New Testament we do not find the word Sodomite but we do read of the lifestyle and it is not a lifestyle that finds favour with God. In Romans chapter One and verses 24 through 27 we read concerning this lifestyle and what the Lord thinks of it.
Romans 1:24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
Why then do those who profess to be “Christian” push this lifestyle? Is it because they love sin and NOT the Saviour? Is it because they have NEVER had “repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus” Acts 20:21?
In that coming day all, whether they be in the Sodomite lifestyle or not, if they refuse to turn from their sin to faith in the Lord Jesus as their own personal Saviour they personally will suffer the consequences. This last judgment is given in Revelation 20:11-15. There we read John saying he ..saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Nevertheless, The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance2Peter 3:9.

‘I recently had an exchange with Jared Moore, a pastor and a graduate of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (SBTS), who has been exposing much of the bad theology within the Southern Baptist Convention over sexuality. Moore recently started a firestorm on Twitter through a series of tweets on several prominent Evangelical leaders denying that same-sex attraction is sin.
In Mooreβs latest expose, he demonstrates that a long-time professor at SBTS, David Prince, is openly and unashamedly teaching that same-sex attraction is not sin and that those who believe that it is are βaccusersβ like Satan.
In an article on Princeβs website, after citing Romans 8:23, βAnd not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies,β he argues:
I am arguing that same sex desires and same sex orientation are in that category of groaning β waiting for the redemption of our bodies. Which means they are in the same broad category with all kinds of disordered bodies and minds and emotions. If we tried to make a list of the kinds of emotional and mental and physical brokenness of the human family the list would be unending. And all of us are broken and disordered in different ways. All of you are bent to desire things in different degrees that you should not want. We are all disordered in our emotions, or minds, our bodies.
Of course, this argument is completely and totally absurd. Men desiring to have sexual intercourse with other men and women with women is not described anywhere in Scripture as an βemotion,β but rather βΟάθη αΌΟΞΉΞΌ,β which is translated as βdishonorable passionsβ in the ESV, βdegrading passionsβ in the NASB, and βvile affectionsβ in the KJV. Further, these degrading passions are described as a state of being demonstrative of a mind, body, and spirit that has been βgiven overβ by God to the βlusts of the flesh.β Sexual attraction is not described as an emotion, but rather thoughts and desires that can either be natural or unnatural.
And since homosexual attraction is described in Romans 1 as a mind being βgiven overβ to the βlusts of the flesh,β In the same chapter of Romans (chapter 8) that Prince cites to try to remove the stigma of homosexuality and redefine sexual sin as βbrokenness,β he fails to acknowledge that just prior that in verse 7, that βthe mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God,β because it does not, and cannot, submit to Godβs law.
Princeβs view is clearly out of line with biblical teaching and to suggest that those who hold a hardline biblical stance on human sexuality and sexual ethics are βaccusers of the brethrenβ like Satan is foolish, at best. ‘The World Health Organization (WHO) on FridayΒ held an emergency meetingΒ to discuss the outbreak ofΒ monkeypoxΒ after more than 100 cases were reported across 12 countries.
Days before the WHO convened, the Biden administration placed a $119 million order for monkeypox vaccines after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) confirmed six people in the U.S. were being monitored for the viral infection, and one person had tested positive.
Belgium on Sunday became the first country to introduce a compulsory 21-day quarantine for monkeypox patients after reporting four cases of the disease in the last week, Politico reported.
The 100 newly reported cases, or suspected cases, garnered attention because many of them do not appear to be linked to travel to Africa, where in some regions, monkeypox is endemic.
Cases were reported in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the U.K. No deaths are reported as of yet.
The number of identified cases in Europe is a record, described by Germanyβs armed forces medical services as βthe largest and most widespread outbreak β¦ ever seen in Europe,β while its spread in the U.K. was described as βunprecedented.β
U.K. public health officials warned more monkeypox cases are being detected βon a daily basisβ and that there βcould be really significant numbers over the next two or three weeks,β though they did not specify what βnumbersβ would be considered βreally significant.β
The manner in which monkeypox may have spread β through sexual health services and sexual contact between men β also may have helped to heap attention on this new outbreak.
Many of the recent cases were traced to two βsuperspreaderβ events that involved situations in which men came into close physical contact, including 30 monkeypox cases in Spain traced to a single adult sauna in Madrid.
