I don’t think you would have caught Abraham at a BLM protest. However, ‘A group of Jewish Americans who showed up in solidarity of the Black Lives Matter movement in Philadelphia were taunted and assaulted by rioters, according to a video circulating on social media.
The protestors told the Jewish men to “get the f*** out of here” and one Jewish man was shoved by a protester as he tried to leave.
The man, who seems to be the one videoing the scene, calls the Jewish men “Amalek.”
“Amalek! Amalek! What y’all doing down here,” he says.
‘Amalekites’ are considered enemies to Jews within Jewish tradition.

‘The North Carolina pastor accused of urinating on a Delta airline passenger two weeks ago has been identified, authorities said Tuesday.
Daniel Chalmers was arrested by the Wayne Metro Airport police in Detroit after the Delta flight landed at the Detroit Metro Airport on Oct. 12, according to a police report.
The Wayne County Airport Authority provided the police report Tuesday to the Winston-Salem Journal after Freedom of Information Act request.
Chalmers’ age, hometown and cellphone number were redacted in the report obtained by the Journal.
Alicia Beverly, a passenger, told police that she was sleeping at 2:45 a.m. aboard the plane when felt someone standing over her, according to the report.
“So I woke up and looked to my right and seen this guy standing next to me,” Beverly said in her statement to police. “Shortly after I started to feel something warm and I jumped and screamed and I noticed he was shaking his penis like he was finished, and that’s when I felt my skirt was wet.”
Afterward, a flight attendant moved Beverly to another seat, the report said.
Wayne Metro Airport police boarded the plane after landed and they spoke to Beverly and Chalmers. Beverly told the officers that Chalmers urinated on her.
Chalmers initially denied that accusation, saying “I didn’t do it,” according to the report.
When the officer asked Chalmers what he didn’t do, Chalmers said, “Whatever it is she is accusing me of, I didn’t do it.”
Chalmers later told the officer that, “I’m a pastor, and that is out of my character and I didn’t do it,” the report said.
Chalmers then asked officer if there was any evidence that he urinated on Beverly, and the officer told Chalmers that Beverly’s clothing was covered in urine and her seat wet, the report said.
The officer also wrote in the report that he saw a wet spot in the groin area of Chalmers’ shorts.
Chalmers denied that he had been drinking, but the officer told him that he smelled of alcohol and his eyes was bloodshot, the report said. Chalmers admitted that he had taken medication, the report said. It also says Chalmers later told an officer he had a few drinks.
As officers escorted Chalmers off the aircraft, he told the plane’s captain that he intended to sue Delta Airlines for defamation of character for its treatment of him, the report said.
An FBI agent later issued a ticket or a federal court violation notice to Chalmers, and Chalmers was released from custody, the report said.

‘The venus flytrap senses a fly and, in less than a second, its trap springs shut. It will eat today. A new area of science is plant behavior. Plant behaviorists point out that plants, like the venus flytrap that interact with animals, have to move on an animal scale. We have traditionally thought of plants as inactive living things that just sit there. But as we learn more about them, we are beginning to discover that plants are much more active than we ever thought.
Other plants move as well, often when they interact with animals. But sometimes not. When a white mulberry tree opens its blooms, they open at half the speed of sound. But there’s more than this to plant behavior. Scientists have learned that plants have memory, despite the lack of a nervous system or brain. Yet, when a leaf has mobilized its defenses against a predator in the past, it will do so more quickly the next time the threat returns. Previously we have talked about how plants communicate by emitting scents. When a leaf is attacked, a scent is emitted, warning surrounding leaves and plants. Scientists now call this “plant gossiping.”

‘Ask any scientist and he’ll tell you that blades designed to operate in fluids, like air or water, are best designed to have smooth edges. It only makes sense that a smooth leading edge is more efficient.
That’s why, when a biologist noticed bumps on the front edge of a model of a humpback whale fin, he knew it had to be wrong. With some study, he discovered that the model was indeed accurate. The bumps are called tubercles. Testing has shown that the bumps result in an almost ten percent increase in the lift of a fin or blade. It decreases the drag of a blade or fin by one-third. In fact, one scientist concluded that the design is much better than “what [our] systems can accomplish.” Inspired, scientists investigated whether similar tubercles could increase the efficiency of manmade blades such as those used on wind turbines. You may also find tubercles on helicopter blades and fan blades, as well.

The above Scripture would be offensive, I suppose, to those who were involved in those acts. However, should one be silenced from quoting that Scripture in public because they someone may be offended from what God’s Word says?

‘A distasteful art installation at the University of Southern Maine has prompted a complaint from a member of a church that gathers in the building in which the piece is being displayed.

face of Christ. Riley Harris, the USM student behind the controversial piece, has insisted that it was created in accordance with an artwork assignment.
“I was thinking a lot about questioning authority in general,” Harris told Central Maine of the project, which is titled “Unholy Bible: Very Revised Standard Edition.”
“People question different types of authority, but for some reason religious authority seems too taboo to question, so I thought I would give it a shot.”
But that wasn’t good enough for Charlie Flynn, a member of The Casco Bay Church of Christ, which on the Portland Campus at USM. It was as the family was attending a service when Flynn’s young daughter noticed the shocking display and alerted her father.
“This is someone’s sacred text being desecrated, destroyed and displayed in a public place,” Flynn told the outlet. “I couldn’t help but feel no one’s sacred text should be treated that way. I think it’s very inappropriate and repugnant.”
After receiving a complaint from Flynn, the University’s vice president for enrollment management and marketing, Jared Cash, defended the student’s right to free speech.
The university “supports freedom of speech rights for all students, affirmed and upheld by Board of Trustee System Policy 212,” he said. The policy itself details that if the expression free speech does not “violate the law, defame specific individuals, genuinely threaten or harass others, or violate privacy or confidentiality requirements or interests,” it is duly permitted on campus.
While supporting the right to free expression, Flynn believes the artwork causes undue offense, and would not be allowed if it mocked other religions.
Dr. D. A. Waite is a defender of the Masoretic Hebrew and Received Greek texts of the Word of God. In a recent issue of the Dean Burgon Society News he wrote that;
‘It perplexes me to observe many saved believers who can not see the truth about the textual issue. The Bible states clearly that “all Scripture is given by inspiration of God” (2 Timothy 3:16), which points to inerrancy and infallibility. The Bible also very directly states over and over again that Scripture is preserved. For example, Psalm 12:7 states, “Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever”, referring to Scripture. And again in John 10:35b, “..the scripture cannot be broken.” Also in 1 Peter 1:23, 25, Matthew 24:35, Isaiah 40:8, Psalm 119:89, and others. Not just Scripture in general, but the very Words of God. The Bible is very clear about this even in with some of the passages in many of the corrupt English versions. For example, the NIV cites Matthew 24:35 as, “ Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.“ This is very , very close to the KJB and is basically a good interpretation of the passage despite the many other flaws that the NIV embraces.
So why are the Critics blind about this issue? I think there are several reasons involved. One of them is that they are not led by the Holy Spirit on this issue and another is that some of them may not be saved at all. A big reason is that they were taught a certain way in seminary, as was I at Dallas Theological Seminary, many years ago. Many men, unfortunately, accept whatever they are taught without question. They never examine the issue with care. They never compare what they were taught with Scripture itself.
One crystal clear observation that they should make is that their favorite manuscripts, Codex Vaticanus, Codex Sinaiticus, P75, and many others do not agree with one another. I am not just talking about spelling issues. They do not agree with one another with regard to good grammar, words missing or added, complete changes, complete passages removed, and in many other ways.
It is certainly possible, even likely, that God allowed for some occasional anomalies in His Word such as leaving out the Hebrew nun (נ) in Psalm 145, but there are also very good reasons for those anomalies. Sometimes, we know what they are and sometimes not, but what we do know is that God’s Word is inspired, inerrant, authoritative, sufficient, and preserved. It is because of this, that we may also know that His Word is NOT inconsistent. We can know false Scripture from true Scripture by its consistency and by whether it affects theology and doctrine in any way. The Critics “precious” manuscripts do not stand up in the face of scrutiny. They fail in many ways. Let’s keep to the traditional texts, which are preserved in the Masoretic and Received texts, which are the texts behind the King James Bible.’DBS Issue 121
Society is in trouble and a major problem in all this is the disintegration of the family. Sadly, many families are or have already disintegrated through unfaithfulness ending in divorce. However, children are not the only ones affected by this disintegration of the family but the nation is affected as well.
