Brother Wayne Mund recently went home to be with his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Here’s his testimony. ‘I was born and reared in a fishing village along the Alabama gulf coast. Our home was right on the Bon Secour River, so as far back as I can remember, I have had my feet in the water. As a small child I remember catching minnows in a baited jar, graduating to a small cast net that I literally threw until it fell apart. From there I proceeded to my own boats, gill nets, trawls, oysters tongs, crab traps, etc. Thus the seafood world was in my veins as real as blood.
My parents were good church-going people. They were faithful members of a church in our area. Around the age of nine I joined this church. Not until I was eighteen and in college do I remember giving thought to my spiritual condition. After exposure to Bible preaching, it was apparent that I had a big need. I had never come to know Christ a my personal Saviour. In January of 1966 I acknowledged my condition as a lost sinner and received Christ as Saviour. My, what a difference! Soon after, the call of God came to preach. After college and Bible training, God blessed with two exciting churches that I pastored for fifteen years. Those years held blessings and training needful for the work here at FOMMI. In 1989 FOMMI planted Fishermen Baptist Church in Bon Secour, Alabama. In 2018, after 29 years, I retired from pastoring Fishermen Baptist Church, and in 2019 FOMMI joined forces with Victory Baptist Church of Milton, Florida, to continue worldwide mission efforts.
Being raised around the sea it came natural to have heart and soul in it. Little did I ever know that God would use me to reach out to those who live in island and seacoast areas. Jesus seemed to love Galilee. Much of His time was spent along the sea. The first four disciples were fishing men. Coastal areas of the world are in desperate need of the gospel. The most wicked of places are said to be port cities. My heart is in those areas. God plants you where you grow your best. Millions live where the sea touches the land. ‘The chairman of a Grantham football club says that he has been backed by the team’s supporters’ group after he claimed that refugees staying in the town were “roaming the streets” for drugs.
A meeting of Grantham Town’s supporters’ club on Saturday, September 25, met to vote on a statement that would have asked the team’s chairman, Darren Ashton, to apologise for his comment and to retract it.
But the group has confirmed to Lincolnshire Live that the statement was not backed because it felt that it would be “inappropriate” to comment whilst the FA were investigating the matter.
The investigation also meant that the supporters’ group didn’t want to offer any further comment to Lincolnshire Live.
Mr Ashton claimed that only two people in the meeting voted in favour of the statement, and that the supporters’ group has around 300 members, although he does not know how many were in attendance at the meeting as he wasn’t able to attend.
A representative from the supporters’ group told Lincolnshire Live that the number of members was in fact 113.
The Urban Hotel on Swingbridge Road in Grantham is currently home to refugees from Afghanistan after the British Government pledged to take in 20,000 refugees from the landlocked country over the next five years following the recent withdrawal of British troops.
In a tweet posted about this on the evening of Thursday, September 9, Mr Ashton said: “True story, I’m the chairman of Grantham Town, and we had one of our players staying there on a long-term agreement.
“Last Friday they informed him he had to be out by Monday. No consideration for an 18-year-old lad away from his family and friends trying to make a career for himself.”
He then posted a further tweet in the conversation, which read: “Those refugees are as we speak roaming the streets of Grantham trying to get drugs.”
Mr Ashton then tweeted again on Friday morning saying: “It would appear I upset a few people last night with some of my responses to there [sic] messages.
“I would like to take this opportunity to apologise to absolutely NO ONE. Good day to you all.”
Speaking to Lincolnshire Live following the result of the supporters’ group meeting being announced, Mr Ashton said: “A massive majority voted in my favour which I’m very happy about because a lot of people have misrepresented what I said.”
Mr Ashton says that he didn’t single out Afghan refugees in particular, as he claimed that refugees of other nationalities are staying at the hotel.
He said: “All along I’ve asked for people to point exactly to something I’ve said which was racist and they can’t.
“I have already said that the way I worded the tweets was a bit poor and I’ve apologised for that side of things, but I’m a council lad who hasn’t got a degree like most other people so sometimes my wording is poor.
“But I won’t apologise for the actual content of what I said because I’m not a racist, and I’m not right-wing as some people have said.
“What I’ve learnt during this process is that if you happen to disagree with someone who is on the left, then you are labelled right-wing.”
Lincolnshire Live understands the national FA have now taken up the investigation into 45-year-old Mr Ashton, who is from Sheffield.
Mr Ashton added: “As far as I’m aware the FA investigation is not football related because the lads are still being paid and the academy is going well.
“We’ve got all ethnicities and nationalities working at the club and I invested £60,000 of my own money last year, and again this year.

If the sun is shrinking at this rate, it would have been twice as large as it is now only 100,000 years ago. And 20 million years ago, the surface of the sun would have touched the surface of the Earth! The dinosaurs, or more accurately their descendants, would have been cooked, to say the least. No life would have been possible on Earth! This obviously poses a huge problem for evolutionists.
Evolutionists wanted to escape the hot water created by too large a sun. So they suggested that perhaps the sun alternately shrinks and expands. There is evidence of a very small pulsation, but overall the shrinkage is undeniable, and at any rate of shrinkage, this places the maximum age of the Earth sustaining life at only thousands of years. Some evolutionists have now suggested that the earlier studies were wrong and the sun is not shrinking at all. The matter is still under study.
Whatever results from this debate about the sun, we need to remember that God, as Creator, is in charge. Did you know that more people have died this year from the side effects of the Covid-19 vaccine than side effects from all other vaccination combined in the last 20 years? What about the countless vaccine injuries, some of them being severe? Why do we hear so little about this? Is something being concealed here? When the vaccination against swine flu had negative consequences a few years ago, the vaccine was quickly withdrawn from circulation. Even today, thousands of people, especially young people, are suffering from the consequences of the vaccination. I know a young person who was vaccinated at that time and who now suffers from narcolepsy He has finished his education and would like to work. However, he is not allowed to have a driver’s license because of the constant danger of suddenly falling asleep, and he cannot find a job. Unfortunately, his illness is not recognized as a vaccine injury. The manufacturer of the vaccine was exempted from liability for vaccine consequences. Obviously the same thing is happening again today. Despite the massively increasing vaccine damage, of which, as I said, we hear nothing, hardly hear anything, vaccination continues like there’s no tomorrow. We just keep vaccinating. It’s much the same in space. There is a great deal of dust in between the Earth, the moon, all the other planets, and the sun. However, you won’t need to send your friend with the mop to clean it up because the sun and planets slowly sweep this dust from space. If you have ever seen a meteor or “shooting star” streak through the night sky, the bright trail was probably made by a particle no larger than a grain of sand. The Earth was doing its part in the solar system’s ongoing janitorial work. Yes, some of this space dust actually ends up in our homes!
Unlike what often seems to be true in our homes, there is a limited supply of dust in space. It is, however, still a huge amount. Like your friend’s kitchen floor, we might get an idea of how long the Earth, the sun and the other planets have been around by finding out how much of that dust has already been cleaned up. According to scientists’ own figures, our Earth and the rest of the solar system could not have been around more than 10,000 years!
This is such a mystery to scientists who believe that things are billions of years old that some have even suggested that this dust doesn’t follow the laws of physics.
