‘A Louisiana nurse last month told state lawmakers her hospital is seeing “terrifying” reactions to COVID vaccines, but hospital officials are failing to report them.
Colette Martin, R.N., a practicing nurse for 17 years, said her Louisiana hospital is witnessing blood clots, heart attacks, strokes, encephalopathy and heart arrhythmia following COVID vaccination, and staff are failing to report anything to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS).
Martin, testifying at a Louisiana House Health and Welfare Committee hearing, told State Rep. Lawrence Bagley that most medical professionals in her hospital aren’t even aware VAERS exists.
“The majority of our nurses, nurse managers and some doctors do not even know what VAERS is,” Martin said. “I’ve spoken to our chief medicine managers and other nurses on why we’re not reporting to VAERS, and the most common response is: ‘What is VAERS?’”
Martin said she raised concerns about adverse reactions to COVID vaccines and the failure to report them to hospital administrators, but she was “repeatedly dismissed.”
‘The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is not investigating the death of a 13-year-old Michigan boy who died June 16, 2021, of myocarditis three days after his second dose of Pfizer’s COVID vaccine, emails obtained by Judicial Watch confirmed.
Judicial Watch on Wednesday announced it obtained 314 pages of records from the CDC, including communications from Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky showing a request for information about the death of Jacob Clynick.
The teen’s death was not acknowledged by CDC officials in presentations on myocarditis or vaccine safety during meetings held by the agency’s vaccine safety advisory panel, the Advisory Committee on Immunization and Practices (ACIP), which makes clinical recommendations for use of COVID vaccines in children.
According to the records, Walensky, on June 28, 2021, forwarded a Washington Times article, “CDC reportedly probing Michigan teen’s death after COVID-19 vaccination,” to her subordinates, asking, “Any details on this?”
The article said federal health officials were investigating the case of a Michigan teen who died three days after receiving his second dose of a COVID vaccine. The Saginaw (Michigan) County Health Department said the investigation into whether the death was related to the vaccine was at the “federal level,” referring to the CDC.
Dr. Henry Walke, director of CDC’s Division of Preparedness and Emerging Infections, forwarded Walensky’s request to another official, David Fitter, who responded:
Pfizer announced their experiments on children 6 months and older were unsuccessful in 2- to 5-year-olds as they didn’t produce an immune response, leading to a recommendation for a third shot and delaying the Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for the youngest citizens.
Although the experiments produced a strong response in children 6 months to 24 months and 5 to 12 years, the company announced they were evaluating increasing these doses as well.
The study is listed as a phase 1, 2 and 3 model, evaluating the safety, dose and efficacy simultaneously, a strategy seldom, if ever, used. Data collection and analysis will be completed in one year on a population with little risk of the illness.
‘A huge new study has found the risk of serious heart problems called myocarditis in men under 40 soars with each dose of a Covid mRNA vaccine – and is sharply higher than the risk from a coronavirus infection itself.
The findings call into sharp question the efforts by American colleges and universities to make their students receive booster shots before returning to school this January – especially since other studies have shown that the risk of post-vaccine myocarditis is concentrated not merely in men under 40 but in those aged 16-25.
The study, which British researchers released in late December, showed that the risk of myocarditis almost doubled after the first Pfizer shot in men under 40. Then it doubled again after the second and doubled again after the third – to almost eight times the baseline risk.
For the Moderna vaccine, the risks were even higher, reaching 16-fold after the second shot. (The risk of a third Moderna shot could not be calculated because too few people received it.)
Because each Moderna shot contains 100 micrograms of mRNA, while each Pfizer shot contains 30, the findings suggest strongly that the heart risks are dose-related and likely to continue to rise with each additional shot.
The study also contained some evidence that post-vaccine myocarditis might be more dangerous than other forms of myocarditis. It showed a trend towards higher death rates in people hospitalized for myocarditis after vaccination compared to other myocarditis cases.
Both myocarditis and pericarditis are forms of heart inflammation that can be very serious, even deadly. In an appendix, the researchers reported that 263 Britons were hospitalized for myocarditis within four weeks of receiving a Pfizer shot; of those, 38, or 14 percent, died. Only about 9 percent of people hospitalized for myocarditis that did not follow an mRNA vaccination died.
The researchers did not look at other potential cardiovascular risks, such as heart attacks or irregular heartbeats, although American and European databases of post-vaccine side effects contain many reports of those as well.
The findings come even as many colleges and universities – including public schools like the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, large private schools such as Syracuse University, and Ivy League institutions such as Princeton University – demand that their students receive a booster Covid shot before returning to campus.
For nearly all these students, an mRNA shot is the only viable option, as the Johnson & Johnson shot is no longer in common use.
These colleges are likely subjecting their male students to a risk of myocarditis and pericarditis, a related illness, that is much higher than the overall risk of Covid, which is vanishingly small for healthy teenagers and young adults. Many larger universities are likely to have multiple cases of male students hospitalized for myocarditis as a result of the mandates.
The massive study was is based on data from 42 million Britons who received at least one Covid vaccine dose, including roughly 22 million who received the mRNA vaccines.
‘The Mayo Clinic in Minnesota fired 700 unvaccinated health care workers on Tuesday, despite nurses at the clinic issuing a warning several weeks ago about staffing issues.
“While Mayo Clinic is saddened to lose valuable employees, we need to take all steps necessary to keep our patients, workforce, visitors, and communities safe,” the Mayo Clinic said in a statement Tuesday in confirming the mass firings. “If individuals released from employment choose to get vaccinated at a later date, the opportunity exists for them to apply and return to Mayo Clinic for future job openings.”
The man the Democrats say is President is way past his use by date!
‘ALT: For sale, one President, slightly used, lies on command:
Meanwhile, back in reality, here are the latest figures from Ontario (I’d give you the US numbers, but – oopsie! – our government doesn’t provide them). More than 70% of people in the hospital with Covid are vaccinated:
…and vaccinated people have more cases per-capita than the unvaccinated:
‘Some young children had serious fevers after receiving a medium-sized dose of Pfizer’s mRNA Covid vaccine, a Pfizer clinical trial found.
Fevers in kids 2-5 who received 10 micrograms of mRNA were both more common and more severe than those in other children tested with the vaccine, the company found. The side effect occurred after both the first and second vaccine dose.
The company revealed the problems to investors and analysts in mid-December as it disclosed its struggles to produce a Covid vaccine for younger children.
Pfizer ultimately did not move forward with a 10-microgram two-dose regimen for children aged 2 to 5. Instead it is testing a much smaller dose – 3 micrograms – which it had originally intended for kids under 2. That dose did not cause the same problems in early trials.
Pfizer’s larger clinical trial in children under 5 is ongoing. Regulators have not yet authorized Covid vaccines – at any dose – for kids that age.
But they have okayed the vaccine for children from 5 to 12 – at the same 10-microgram level that caused fevers in the clinical trial of younger kids.
The vaccine dosing is not adjusted by weight. All five-year-olds receive the full 10-microgram dose, even if they are no bigger than a typical three or four-year-old.
Pfizer has not published any safety or efficacy data for its vaccine in children under 5 in a peer-reviewed journal, but it did provide a glimpse of the results to investors and analysts on Dec. 17. The data are contained in a single slide in the 79-page presentation.
The red bars represent severe fevers, which clinical trials typically define as higher than 103 degrees.
The complete slide is here, showing that roughly 1 in 5 of younger children had fevers after each 10-microgram dose – more than any other children or young adults at any dosage level.
But Pfizer’s hopes for its 3-microgram dose in younger children also appear to be fading.
In the standard two-dose regimen, that dose has proven so ineffective in children 2-5 that the company has now modified its clinical trial to add a third 3 microgram dose.
In adolescents and adults, the Pfizer vaccine dose contains 30 micrograms of mRNA in each shot – three times the dose for kids 5-12 and 10 times the amount that Pfizer is now testing on younger kids. (One million micrograms equal one gram, so the vaccine contains only a tiny amount of material, but it is incredibly biologically potent.)
The company’s struggles with dosing kids under five are part of a bigger issue around vaccinating children.
Pfizer is walking a tightrope as it tries to convince reluctant parents to vaccinate their kids for an illness that is barely a cold for most healthy children.
Despite relentless advertising campaigns and scare stories about children being hospitalized for Covid (stories that frequently reveal about halfway down that the kids were hospitalized for other problems and had incidental Covid diagnoses), only about 1 in 5 American kids 5-12 has received a Covid vaccine.
