Yesterday I wrote concerning a celebrity Christian comedian and his having to cancel his upcoming tour due to sinful actions in his life. Today, another celebrity of the world has professed his faith in Christ, Kayne West, and is taking the churches and Christendom in general by storm.
However, should a new Christian be applauded and allowed to ‘perform’ before he has time to grow in his new found faith?
Paul said to Timothy in 1 Timothy 5:22 Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men’s sins: keep thyself pure. Then there is 1 Timothy 3:6 Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.
West is according to his own testimony a new convert to Christianity. Matthew Henry in commenting on 1 Timothy 5:22 says ‘”Be not too hasty in laying hands on any; remit not the censure of the church to any, till time be first taken for the proof of their sincerity in their repentance, neither be partakers of other men’s sins, implying that those who are too easy in remitting the censures of the church encourage others in the sins which are thus connived at, and make themselves thereby guilty.” I personally believe this is a verse along with 1 Timothy 3: 6 that should be followed in this and all cases of new converts.
West is definitely a novice to the Christian faith. Now, if West is saved he needs time to grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
However, if West is NOT saved then he and those opening their churches for him to perform are not helping him but are helping him along with others straight to hell.
This will NOT end well.
One doesn’t have to be a ‘scientist’ to know evolution has a LOT of problems. ‘According to the evolutionary story, humans evolved from an unidentified ape-like ancestor over two million years ago. But this story doesn’t line up with the Bible or scientific evidence. What can we learn from our DNA to decipher the origins debate? How does genetics support the Christian worldview of a recent creation?’ https://www.icr.org/article/mutation-rates-debunk-evolution
‘RG LeTourneau is perhaps the most inspiring Christian inventor, businessman and entrepreneur the world has ever seen. A sixth grade dropout, Robert Gilmore “RG” LeTourneau went on to become the leading earth moving machinery manufacturer of his day with plants on 4 continents, more than 300 patents to his name and major contributions to road construction and heavy equipment that forever changed the world. Most importantly, his contribution to the advancement of the Gospel ranks him among the greatest of Christian Businessmen of all time. Famous for living on 10% of his income and giving 90% to the spread of the Gospel, LeTourneau exemplified what a Christian businessman should be.’ http://www.giantsforgod.com/rg-letourneau/
Same-sex marriage began this taking businesses to court over supposed discrimination of sodomites in the Western world. Where will it take those of us who believe marriage is between one man and one woman?
‘The Minnesota Human Rights Act forces Carl and Angel Larsen and their company,
Telescope Media Group, to use their filmmaking talents to promote same-sex marriages if they produce films that celebrate marriage between one man and one woman.’ http://www.adfmedia.org/News/PRDetail/10149
From the St. Cloud Minnesota Times we read for the 3rd of October, 2019 that ‘Minnesota’s attorney general says the state will continue to fight a lawsuit in federal court that was filed by two Minnesota filmmakers who want the right to refuse to record same-sex weddings instead of taking the case to the full 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals or U.S. Supreme Court.’
‘The state says their intention to not serve LGBTQ couples violates the state Human Rights Act.’ The rights of the LGBTQ folk according to this statement outweigh the rights of the business owners! Hmm.
Then there is the outrageous statement by statement by the Minnesota Human Rights Commissioner saying “Minnesota is not in the business of creating second-class community members in our state.” https://www.sctimes.com/story/news/local/2019/10/03/st-cloud-couples-fight-over-gay-wedding-videos-stays-district-court/3850304002/
In this situation the owner of the business is the second-class community member, Mr. Human Rights Commissioner!
Undoubtedly, the Commissioner has not read the words of the Creator Himself in Matthew 19:4-6 And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, 5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? 6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
Evolutionists are a part of the crowd of whom Paul speaks in Romans 1:22 ‘Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools’.

“Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.” (2 Peter 3:17)
False teachers are prominent in almost every field of study including science and religion. Dr. Henry Morris aptly writes that; ‘Peter’s final epistle, especially chapters 2 and 3, is the classic New Testament passage on the false teachers that would plague the church in the “last days” (v. 3). In addition to the characteristics listed in the introductory verse, 2:1 (e.g., slipping in surreptitiously heretical teachings, denying the redemptive work and Lordship of Christ), a number of their attributes are predicted for our guidance, as follows:
They will “wrest the scriptures” (3:16), distorting their literal meaning to conform to their own philosophical preferences. This involves using “feigned words” (2:3)—that is, plastic words, with devious meanings to make them say what their users wish to convey. They may well be very eloquent and seductive in their speech, “when they speak great swelling words of vanity” (2:18).
They will deny the doctrine of special creation and the judgment of the worldwide Flood (3:5-6), teaching instead that “all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation” (v. 4), and will scoff at the Second Coming. They “despise government” and are “presumptuous” and “selfwilled . . . not afraid to speak evil of dignities” (2:10).
They both practice and defend immoral acts, “having eyes full of adultery” (v. 14). Yet they maintain their religious ties because they have hearts “exercised with covetous practices” (v. 14), seeing nothing evil in taking money for personal gain from those whose faith they seek to undermine.
This is, indeed, a fitting description of many modern liberal theologians, religious bureaucrats in the big denominations, “New Age” preachers, college teachers of religion, etc. Although this is not a pleasant subject, Christians urgently need to awaken to what is happening and “beware”!’ https://www.icr.org/article/11469
Isaiah 24:23 Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.
Isaiah 46:13 I bring near my righteousness; it shall not be far off, and my salvation shall not tarry: and I will place salvation in Zion for Israel my glory.
‘The NSW Parliament is in a rush to decriminalise abortion up to birth. Our NSW supporters can act now to stop this happening.
Today, the NSW Legislative Assembly began debating the Reproductive Health Care Reform Bill 2019. The proposed law would give our state one of the most permissive abortion laws in the world. A marathon debate on the Bill has begun in the Legislative Assembly. MPs are bunkering down for a long night.
The Bill is radical. It will allow abortion without limitations up to 22 weeks (a little over 5 months).
After 22 weeks, abortion will be permitted until birth, provided two doctors consider the “current and future physical, psychological and social circumstances” of the mother. This is late term abortion on demand, of viable babies who could live outside the womb if delivered at that stage.
The Bill removes freedom of conscience for health practitioners. Pro-life doctors will be obliged to refer a patient seeking an abortion to a doctor who will perform the abortion.
Those who govern our State should be protecting life, not sanctioning its destruction. ‘ https://www.acl.org.au/blog_kj_abortion?utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=eNews%206%20August%202019&utm_content=eNews%206%20August%202019+CID_92f50dbb5a12e5a743c9f77be3e67161&utm_source=CreateSend&utm_term=NSW%20Abortion%20bill
Much if not most of the media are PC of which news.com.au is just one. Below is an article from the 17th of June, 2019 online news.com.au. Note their bias against Israel and his Christian beliefs which are Biblical! I stand with Israel Folau!
‘A video of Israel Folau doubling down on his homophobic beliefs and taking aim at the government in a church sermon, accusing it of allowing children to change their gender, has emerged on the internet.
Footage of Folau’s speech was uploaded to The Truth of Jesus Christ Church Sydney Facebook page on Sunday and shows the former Wallabies star criticising churches for allowing same-sex marriage.
Folau had his $4 million contract torn up by Rugby Australia after he was found guilty of a code of conduct breach for saying “hell awaits” gay people in a social media post earlier this year. He has since launched legal action, reportedly seeking $10 million in damages, believing he has been discriminated against because of his religious views.
Speaking to his church congregation, Folau said homosexuality was a “sin” and the result of trying to please man rather than God.
He also told an anecdote about a politician at a Christian function speaking about what “the parliament is trying to instil into the government going forward”.
“A lot of the points are, he’s talking about how the work of the sin, homosexuality, is in disguise to try and take over within this world,” Folau said.
“You see a lot of things in today’s news and everything. They’re allowing young kids in primary school to be able to have the permission to change their gender if they want by taking away the permission of their parents.
“Now they’re trying to take control as a government to make that decision for kids that are basically 16-years-old or younger. They don’t even know what they’re doing.
“This is what the devil’s trying to do to instil into this government, into this world, into this society and it’s slowly happening.”
“The sad thing is while a lot of people out there who are non-Christians say bad things about the church, a lot of churches today allow those things to happen,” Folau said.
“They say that a man and a man should be allowed to get married and there’s nothing wrong with that. This ties into the theme of pleasing man rather than pleasing God and standing up for the truth.
“If there’s ever a time to stand up for the word of God, now is the time.
“Otherwise the truth of God will be slowly taken out and it’s our job as born-again Christians to stand up for God, not be scared of persecutions, sufferings.”
Folau, whose bitter dispute with Rugby Australia has cost him a place with the Wallabies at this year’s World Cup in Japan, alluded to his stoush with his former employer as he talked about the “awkward” position born-again Christians are put in when their beliefs differ to those of their families and colleagues.
However, he said it was important to stay strong in your faith.
“You might be the only born-again Christian in that workplace, you might feel a bit awkward with your co-workers because they are in the world and you’re not. We should feel blessed … because God has called us,” Folau said.
“If we’re true believers in Christ, are we going to follow through and confess it wherever we go, or are we going to be too scared because we might be cast out of our workplace because we’re not liked by those around us?”’ https://www.news.com.au/sport/sports-life/israel-folaus-fresh-attack-on-homosexuals-transgenders/news-story/a415b2eaca3d7da107e0fa5a3f420151
