In the Australian state of New South Wales ‘protesters who intimidate, harass or film people within 150 metres of clinics or hospitals that provide terminations will face punishments including jail time.’ https://www.abc.net.au/news/2018-06-08/abortion-clinic-safe-access-laws-pass/9846964
Yet in Queensland a climate scammer otherwise known as a climate change protester ‘… declared himself the “minister for barbecues” in the middle of a busy Brisbane street is arguing he was not “disorderly”, but exercising his
right to peaceful assembly under Queensland’s new Human Rights Act.’
‘Magistrate Suzette Coates adjourned the case for several weeks to give the prosecution time to make a written submission.
“This is quite a significant issue,” she told the court.
“The court’s been well expecting an argument such as this … so I need to properly consider it.
“It’s not something that should be considered lightly.”
The maximum penalty for a public nuisance conviction is six months’ jail.’ https://www.abc.net.au/news/2020-03-06/climate-protester-argues-protest-legal-qld-human-rights-act/12029148
NOTE, the Magistrate said this nonsense was a ‘significant issue’ and that she needed ‘to properly consider it’ and that it was not an issue ‘that should be considered lightly’!
What a dismal situation in which we find ourselves. In NSW those who believe the life of the unborn are important are NOT allowed to protest the murder of the unborn but a man who believes the world is in a crisis due to coal and shuts down the traffic of an entire street in protest has a magistrate who sees his protest as a SIGNIFICANT ISSUE! It is too often these same people have a hard time in believing the Book of Genesis is real history!
Is there really such a thing as ‘white privilege’!? I have been white all my life and never knew I held a certain privilege due to my skin colour. Now, that I know that I have this privilege I am being criticized for having it! Hmm. Well, in my home state ‘A new course that will take place at Iowa State will discuss diversity, social justice and culture and how it all can be expressed through art.
This course, titled “Diversity in Art,” is a one-credit art course that will meet the U.S. Diversity requirement for students that need it.’
‘This discussion-based course will not have any artwork assignments. Students have to be willing to think, talk and challenge themselves in order to develop visual analysis skills.
“We are trying to do it from a lens of current events, but because of that, it also brings historical social structures that marginalize people,” said Nancy Gebhart, graduate
student of education and graduate teaching assistant for the Women’s and Gender Studies Department. “We talk about white privilege and try to emphasize critical whiteness and how we represent art through storytelling. We also talk about how white people will profit off of the stories of marginalized people but didn’t really share that experience.”’ https://www.iowastatedaily.com/news/iowa-state-university-ames-community-new-class-course-diversity-in-art-artwork-artists-united-states-diversity-requirement-credit-social-jusitce-culture-protest/article_2ed460a8-5cd3-11ea-8fc9-efe1f69e7fc8.html
Do you really think the students will be better prepared for the real world after taking this course? I suggest they read Acts 17:24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; 26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation sometime during this course!
Who would have ever thought a year ago that toilet paper would be the subject of conversation where ever a group of people were gathered? Well, it is a reality today. This is an email that was sent out by the CEO of a large grocery outlet here in Australia.
‘I’d like to update you on the shortages we’re seeing in toilet paper and other essential items.
As you may have read, or seen for yourself, these are unusual and challenging times. We know it can be frustrating when we don’t have the products you need, or when delivery or Pick up windows are filled more than usual.
We’re working very closely with our suppliers to get products onto shelves as quickly as we can. The makers of Kleenex, Sorbent, Quilton and Woolworths own range of toilet paper have all increased their production to meet this very unusual demand.
For example, the makers of Kleenex are now manufacturing 24 hours, 7 days a week at their Millicent, SA factory, as are Sorbent in their NSW and Victorian facilities. And the makers of Quilton have tripled their normal production across their factories in Queensland, NSW and WA.
It’s worth noting that the vast majority of products aren’t affected and most stores aren’t seeing significant shortages. But to make sure everyone has access to essential items, we’ve introduced some common-sense limits to a few products. We’ve limited toilet paper to 4 packs per transaction and large packs of rice (2kg and over) to 1 per transaction. Where available, hand sanitiser is now at the Customer Service Desk and limited to 2 per transaction.
We’re constantly monitoring the situation and will do our best to keep all products freely available to everyone. However, if we see new shortages, we may introduce other limits. We’ll only do this if we think it’s absolutely necessary and to help make sure all customers can access the products they need. We’ll keep you updated in our stores and on our website as things change.
Our team members are doing the very best they can, so please support them, and each other.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through this together.
CEO Woolworths Group’
All of this seems laughable but the reality is that it doesn’t take much to upset the economy and daily living. Now, the day is coming when The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing, 16 And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls! 17 For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off, 18 And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city! Revelation 18:15-18.
Churches all too often just simply trust para-church organizations to do the RIGHT thing.
Well, ‘Ethnos360, formerly called New Tribes Mission, released a document in February 2020 called Ethnos360 and Child Safety, where they give a historical account and explanation of their response to child abuse within their organization. They released it publicly on their website, only in a place where most visitors are unlikely to ever stumble across it. Here are the steps to finding this document on their web site.
Here is a link to the document that is easier to access: Ethnos360 and Child Safety.
I give this document mixed reviews. It is great to see a public acknowledgement that abuse actually occurred, as well as some names of abusers. This is important not only to prevent those people from being in a position where they can abuse children again, but also for the credibility of the MKs who have been making these allegations for years. There is a lot of push-back from both missionaries and other MKs when you complain about your experience at boarding school. I have seen it so many times with Kent Academy MKs. The publication of this document tells the world that yes, they were actually abused. Granted the document is hard to find, but it is there. Thanks to MK Safety Net for posting it on their Facebook page and web site. MK Safety Net has a great summary of the document which you can read on their website at http://mksafetynet.org/content/mksn-responds-ethnos360-document-about-abuse.
Ethnos360 and Child Safety focuses on sexual abuse, an area that is more black and white than physical or emotional abuse. The investigation also found that 23 individuals committed acts of physical abuse, but those names were not released. They explain that corporal punishment was acceptable back in the day, and also that a child might interpret actions as abusive that were not really abusive, just because they were intimidated by an adult with a “large personality”, or maybe they were more sensitive than other children, who didn’t interpret something as abuse. Really?? No one likes to be punished, but I think we can tell the difference between legitimate punishment (ie; sifting sand) and abuse (ie: being strapped on the back of your legs until they bleed.)
Ethnos360 has named some, but not all, of the abusers. They didn’t name abusers who did not abuse anyone outside of their immediate family. I wonder how they know whether they abused anyone outside their immediate family. If we are talking sexual abuse, it is very possible that they DID abuse other children, but those people just haven’t come forward, so I disagree with the decision not to name these people. They say they want to protect the identities of the MKs, but since they are not naming the victims or the details of the abuse, I don’t see how we would guess the identity of those MKs based on a list of names.
Ethnos360 talks about whether their inquiries are truly independent. They say “Independence isn’t determined by who pays for the inquiry.” Well, of course not! I don’t think there is a dispute over whether Ethnos360 should be paying for these inquiries. The test for whether it is independent is in which organization they hire to do the inquiry. For example, they paid for GRACE to do an inquiry. GRACE is an independent organization. Then they hired IHART to do an inquiry. IHART is not an independent organization. There are a few telltale signs that IHART is not independent. Ethnos 360 states that “We do not have influence over the IHART team or their plans…” And yet, they were able to “shift” from Ms. Hendrix to Ms. Sidebotham as team leader. Would they be able to dictate leadership in an independent organization? Also, they were able to change the name from Independent Historical Abuse Response Team to Independent Historical Allegation Review Team. This change was in line with the desires of Ethnos360, as they state in the document. Can you imagine GRACE making changes in leadership and the name of their organization while they were doing their investigation? These things just show that IHART is not independent, no matter how many times Ethnos360 says that they are.
The Ethnos360 document states that “One reality that was hard to accept was the very idea that abuse did happen within NTM. We did not think any of our members would do something that would harm another person, certainly not a child.” First of all, if this statement were true, it shows a great naiveté on the part of that leadership. Did they think that when someone becomes a missionary they are suddenly perfect? But I don’t believe it’s true. I think the New Tribes leadership did know that their members were harming children, but just did not do anything about it. They already said that “if the offender expressed remorse, they were then taken through steps of reconciliation and some form of restoration.” So they knew what was going on, and this did not hit them right out of left field as they are suggesting.
However others, such as missionaries who are not in leadership and donors, might not know what was going on, since offenses were covered up so well. I see this concept that missionaries cannot do anything wrong at SIM as well. I frequently see SIM missionaries held up on social media to be such selfless and god-like people. Trust me, they are sinful human beings the same as the rest of us. I myself look at some of those missionaries currently living out their lives in Sebring who are so celebrated, and the very mention of their name sends a chill down my spine. Many were cold and unfeeling to the needs of the children they were supposed to be caring for, and some were downright mean, so I think we may be re-writing history here.
In spite of their shortcomings, Ethnos360 is still light years ahead of SIM in acknowledging abuse within their organization and providing closure for the victims. They have done several formal investigations and named some of the abusers publicly. They have provided counseling to the survivors, presumably not requiring the counselor to submit a report of the sessions back to the mission, as SIM has done. They have examined their history and the culture of their mission, seen that it was breeding abuse, and publicly acknowledged this information and the changes that were made. Let’s be clear, they did not decide to do these things on their own. They came about because some brave MKs continued to put unrelenting pressure on them through social media, and also because they have had to settle several lawsuits. The same pressure might be waiting in SIM’s future as well. I am waiting for the day when SIM publicly acknowledges that abuse – physical, spiritual, emotional and sexual – occurred at their boarding schools.’ https://childrenofsim.wordpress.com/2020/03/01/ethnos360-formerly-new-tribes-mission-and-child-safety/
Deuteronomy 6:6-7 “And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: and thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.”
‘There is a myth that suggests that what your child is taught in the classroom is neutral. Yet, values and judgments are being taught constantly. For example, in an elementary school classroom, there might seem to be no value judgment involved in the teacher
asking the class for someone to tell him what five times four equals. However, when several children call out, he rightly reminds them to put up their hand if they want to answer. The children are not simply being taught their multiplication tables. They are also being taught good manners and their responsibility towards each other and towards the person in authority.
When children are in the science class, many parents assume that they are being taught neutral facts. They are not. They need to know the various scientific theories, whether we deem them correct or not, but if they are taught them in an environment where they cannot question them, there is a problem. They are being actively taught that what God says in His word about the creation is wrong. And the same students may not have been taught or encouraged to use the intellectual tools required to discern truth from error. And parents will probably be unaware of the nuances expressed during each moment of such instruction.
The Bible gives a clear mandate to “teach [these things] diligently to your children”. Let’s ask God for the strength to pass on His values to our children.’ https://creationmoments.com/sermons/morality-in-the-classroom/?mc_cid=d9a15d1efd&mc_eid=00c1dcff3c
2Timothy 3:15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
‘Millions of people are now clamoring for paper masks to cover their mouths and noses while thousands of healthcare and public service workers are wearing full Hazmat suits. The new Coronavirus – now officially known as SARS-CoV-2 – has had a devastating effect in China this winter of 2020.
What can we learn from this plague in regard to biblical and creation truth? Apart from being another example of a creation fallen from innocence and perfection because of sin, the Bible has much to say about it that is relevant. In Leviticus chapter 11, the Bible presented the Jewish people with dietary laws for animals. These laws were ceremonially important for honoring God and remembering the people’s place before Him. But we know today that these principles from the Bible were filled with keen insight and prophetic foreknowledge in their understanding of health science and disease prevention.
And while the ceremonial aspects of these dietary rules were replaced by New Testament freedoms (see Acts 10:9-28), the fact is that important medical and health wisdom predating modern science is reflected in these laws! For example, warnings appear throughout Leviticus 11 about handling dead carcasses, including water and any objects which contacted the carcasses – something medicine lost sight of until modern germ theory in the 19th century.
Though many people now think that SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus originated as a biological weapon, the official explanation is that it started in a “live wildlife” market in Wuhan, China. We are told that the virus got its start from people who were eating bats. Interestingly, in Leviticus 11:13-19, “bats” are listed along with 19 unclean birds which
“shall not be eaten” as “they shall be an abomination unto you”. The last phrase is also translated “a detestable thing and abhorrent to you”.
Bats are known to host up to 137 different kinds of viruses – the most well-known one being rabies. These include over 60 “zoonotic” viruses (viruses which can be transferred to other species). Bats and rodents (prohibited in Leviticus 11:29) carry the most such viruses of any animals. The viruses can make the leap to humans through an intermediate species such as dogs and cats (also prohibited because they are animals that walk on their “paws”. They eat the meat of other unclean animals and thereby ingest more pathogens which can be transferred through their own meat. In addition, of course, the unclean animals of Leviticus 11 are eaten directly by humans, especially in parts of the world which do not have a biblical tradition.
Viruses are difficult for the immune system to contend with because they disguise themselves by hiding within the body’s own cells – a cell “uniform” which the immune system’s “soldiers” have learned to overlook. The thing that keeps us alive against the ravages of infections and other “uncleanness” is the blood’s immune system. And with viruses, the immune system must “train” and deploy the special B- and T-lymphocyte immune system cells to become like specially trained commandos to recognize and neutralize the virus-infected cells.
As the Bible puts it, “the life of the flesh is in the blood” (Leviticus 17:11). This biblical statement is true on many levels. It is true on the surface as well as on a deeply spiritual level. We can make the connection between our own blood carrying life-giving oxygen and nutrition to our whole body with our incredible immune system manufactured with and carried by the blood throughout our bodies, knocking out the pathogens which would otherwise quickly bring death. And then there is the wonderful renewing love, joy, and peace of spiritual life brought with the blood of Christ cleansing us from spiritual infection (sin)!
Viruses mutate. And this makes them able to re-infect people. But the truth is, contrary to the assumptions of evolution, such mutations – as with any mutation – will be far less likely to survive. This fact – that mutations are at best equally viable but most frequently weaker members of a species – is a key reason why evolution is impossible. Mutations do not advance a species and make it more genetically complex. Mutations result in the loss of genetic information in the same way that a random disturbance of the letters in the words of a book will detract from what is being said rather than adding information to the sentences.
The overwhelming probabilities of increasing entropy (disorder) applied to genetics prevents any fluke positive mutation from ever accumulating and surviving into a more “advanced” species or even so-called “transitional” species. This is why there are no transition species in the fossil record, and the rarities that are claimed as such are fraudulent or otherwise dubious.
The viral epidemic in China has made things difficult, not only for victims of the virus, but for Xi Jinping, President for Life and communist dictator of China since 2013. He has been leading a renewed effort of totalitarian oppression of freedoms, including bulldozing churches and rolling back Christian freedoms in China – which has seen many converts since relaxation in the 1980s of Mao Tse Tung’s oppressive tactics. But communism, supported by evolutionism, has taken its toll. And according to mission groups, China has over 60% of the world’s “Religiously Unaffiliated” people (i.e., atheists, agnostics). The “good thing” about this new virus is that it has further exposed the deficits of communism to China’s population, in spite of tight control over the internet and censorship of expression.
There is an epic struggle between totalitarianism and freedom. As usual, evolutionism is on the side of totalitarianism, while biblical Christianity is on the side of freedom! Please pray that “the wicked be snared in the work of his own hands” (Psalm 9:16).’ https://creationmoments.com/newsletter/confronting-coronavirus-covid-19-with-biblical-truth/?mc_cid=09c8c5e037&mc_eid=00c1dcff3c

The old Labor Party had its faults as do all political party’s. However, ‘In 1970 Gough Whitlam welcomed the federal government’s announcement that it would finance the building of the Gladstone Power Station.
Whitlam said “power was the determining factor in the development of natural resources in the area and the attraction of greater human resources to the area”.
Since that time the Labor Party has given up trying to attract working-class jobs to develop an area. This week Anthony Albanese has compared new, job-creating, coal-fired power stations to unicorns. Without new coal-fired power stations, thousands of manufacturing jobs across Australia will be lost.
There are 3000 people employed in alumina and aluminium production in central Queensland thanks to that Gladstone Power Station built by the federal government 50 years ago.
That was a time when we developed our resources not just to export overseas but to create jobs here too.
Without further investment, however, we will lose this industry and thousands of jobs. Other countries will instead take these jobs because, in the words of the Opposition Leader, they’re building lots of unicorns.
According to the environmental activists at Global Coal Plant Tracker, China is building 105 more unicorns (coal-fired power plants), India 31 more, Indonesia 24 more and Japan 14 more. Around the world 223 coal-fired power stations are being built, including seven in Europe, and there are 343 coal-fired power plants in the “pre-construction” planning stage. Coal-fired power is imaginary only in Albanese’s mind.
If other countries build coal-fired power stations (often fuelled with our coal), and we do not, they will take our jobs. We will not just be shipping the coal overseas, our jobs will be shipped over there too.
That will also happen if we succumb to the glib talk that we should adopt a target of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050. How will this work? We are due to receive our last diesel submarine in 35 years, but apparently we can hit net-zero emissions in 30 years.
The net-zero advocates will respond that we can “offset” the diesel-powered subs with investments that help cut emissions in other countries.
But we are being told that we need all countries to hit net zero by 2050 to save the planet. Who are we going to buy carbon emissions from if all other countries have stopped emitting too? We can’t buy carbon credits from Mars.
What the advocates are really suggesting is that we can have our cake and eat it too. That we can still drive our cars, heat our homes and even fly around the world on holidays, providing we tick a box that says “green offset credits” for the low, low, low price of $2 a trip.
If only it were that simple.
The 223 coal-fired power stations that are being built around the world have economic lives that will last until 2070.
Other countries will not handicap their economies by shutting them down early. They will keep producing our wind turbines and solar panels using coal-fired power. And, they will make a lot of money out of this.
But renewable energy will not protect our manufacturing jobs and industries.
Electricity prices are cheaper in other countries that use our coal. The proposed policy of exporting our coal while denying ourselves the use of it hurts our manufacturing industry at both ends. Not only does it make the costs of making things here more expensive, it gives our competitors a leg up.
The proposed Collinsville power station is backed by an indigenous-led company, Shine Energy. This company is run by proud members of the Birri nation. They want to build a coal-fired power station on their land so they can enjoy good-paying jobs on their own country.
The Birri people have experience working on power projects. They worked on the Collinsville solar farm. They managed to get jobs out of that project, but they were temporary.
Once the panels were installed all the jobs disappeared, and that doesn’t help the Birri achieve their long-term economic goals.
Renewable energy investments are often just sugar hits for country towns. In contrast, a coal-fired power station promises to deliver 500 long-term, well-paid jobs for north Queensland. That’s heaps more than the Birri can hope to fill and the project will be a boon for all north Queenslanders, not just indigenous Australians. A new coal-fired power station in north Queensland would return us to Whitlam’s wise words of developing our natural resources to attract human resources to an area.’ http://www.mattcanavan.com.au/coal_fired_power_stations_create_jobs_and_give_a_free_kick_to_rivals_the_australian?utm_campaign=e_central_bulletin_28_2_20&utm_medium=email&utm_source=mattjcan
Proverbs 14:34 Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.

‘He was just a first-year pediatric resident when a hospital housekeeper came to him, panicked. “There’s a baby,” she said, “crying on the garbage can of the treatment room.” Wide-eyed, Dr. Rocco Pascucci opened the door and saw him — wrapped in a hospital blanket, wailing. Without a second thought, he reached out for the newborn boy and rushed him to a warmer, starting oxygen and an artery line. Dr. Pascucci never stopped to think why the baby had been left there. He just did what anyone would. Anyone, it turns out, except 41 members of the U.S. Senate.
A full year after one of the most infamous votes in U.S. history, the party of infanticide wants America to know: nothing has changed. If they had been in that New Jersey hospital, watching a perfectly healthy baby struggle for life, their advice to Dr. Pascucci would have been the same as the on-call OB/GYN — to walk away. The little boy, Rocco would find out later from an angry doctor, was a survivor. Thinking back on that OB/GYN yelling at him, Dr. Pascucci has no regrets. “He told me I had just saved an abortion. He got into a huff and walked out.”
It was “standard procedure,” nurses told him, “to leave these babies on the garbage can until they died.” In telling his emotional story to Leslie Palma, Rocco remembers the moment when he found out just how routine it was. “The cleaning lady knew it,” he said. “The nurses knew it.” And now he knew it. Deciding he couldn’t just sit back and let this go on, he went to the head of pediatrics and told him what happened. “After that, these tiny survivors were given the care they needed.” Other newborns, because of the merciless extremists in Congress, won’t be treated in the same civilized fashion. They look at this little infant and call his existence “offensive.” They look at Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), like Senator Patty Murray (D-Wash.) did, and insist he’s wasting their time.
To a young man, now somewhere in his 30s, it was not a waste. Although Dr. Pascucci never saw the little boy again, he didn’t lose sight of his story. The baby that was hours away from being thrown away was adopted into a loving family and healthy throughout his childhood — all because a doctor and housekeeper cared. “I’m not super-religious or even a big Republican,” Rocco said, trying to deflect from the heroic thing he’d done. “But these are our brothers and sisters, and we’re killing them. If they are born alive, we should try to save them. It’s simple. It’s humanity.”
To everyone but these 41 Democrats, it’s that simple. No, it is not rare — a lie we hear from endless talking heads. And even if it were, who cares? These are human beings. If that one life were your life, wouldn’t it matter? “Some will say that a bill to ensure medical care for babies born after failed abortions is unnecessary because it doesn’t happen that often,” Senator Mike Braun (R-Ind.) argued Monday. “It doesn’t matter how common it is, it matters if it’s right or wrong.”
If only it were rare. At Jill Stanek’s Christ Hospital, a spokesman actually told the Chicago Sun-Times that as many as “10 to 20 percent” of babies who are aborted “survive for short periods outside the womb.” And that’s just one hospital. Multiply that by an entire country, and we’re talking about thousands and thousands of infants crying in rooms no one visits. Saving them isn’t ending abortion in America or “curbing women’s rights.” If you think so, NRO’s Alexandra DeSanctis retorts, “either you haven’t read the bill, you’re lying about what it says, or you sincerely think abortion rights include the right to deny standard medical care to a newborn infant who survived abortion.”
For all but three Senate Democrats, no excuse is good enough. Opposing a bill that saves newborn lives is barbaric. “If there is a persuasive and principled case why America should remain on the radical international fringe on this subject, let us hear it,” McConnell told his colleagues on the Senate floor. “The [people] I speak with cannot comprehend why this would be some hotly-debated proposition. It almost defies belief that an entire political party could find cause to object to this basic protection for babies. And yet today… even something this simple and this morally straightforward is a bridge too far for the Left.”’ https://www.lifenews.com/2020/02/26/abortionist-gets-mad-after-doctor-helps-baby-who-was-born-alive-you-just-saved-an-abortion/
