Conservative Christian commentator and bestselling author Eric Metaxas’ radio show was terminated from YouTube this week after receiving multiple strikes for violating the video platform’s guidelines due to videos on vaccine passports and the 2020 election.
“In regards to YouTube terminating my radio show channel, it’s been clear to us for some time that they wanted to wipe us out,” Metaxas said in a Facebook post.
A YouTube spokesperson told The Christian Post the show’s channel was terminated under the “longstanding three strikes system.”
“Specifically, we removed content that violated our policies on COVID-19 medical misinformation and presidential election integrity,” a YouTube spokesperson said in the email.
Although the radio show’s channel was removed from Youtube, Metaxas’ other YouTube channel sharing his media appearances is still active.
In his statement, Metaxas said that he and his team had done their “very best to comply” with what he called “creepy Marxist ‘community standards.” Still, the administrators of the Google-owned video platform “seem to have been digging into some of our older videos to find things they could use against us.”
“As their uncredited hero Stalin infamously said, ‘Show me the man and I will find you the crime,'” Metaxas wrote. “The loss to us financially is devastating, but when you are speaking truth at a time such as this you cannot be daunted by such things. None of my heroes ever were and by God’s grace I never will be.”
Metaxas, who authored If You Can Keep It and biographies on Dietrich Bonhoeffer, William Wilberforce and Martin Luther, vowed that the “The Eric Metaxas Show” “will not be silenced.”
The last strike for the radio show was about two months ago over an episode with controversial feminist author Naomi Wolf warning about the dangers of “vaccine passports” and a “social credit system.” Wolf, who wrote The End Of America in 2007, has been a critic of COVID-19 lockdowns.
YouTube removed the video for violating “medical misinformation policy.”
The email informing them that the video was removed explained, “We know that this might be disappointing, but it’s important to us that YouTube is a safe place for all. If content breaks our rules, we remove it.”
Some of the other strikes were from posts related to the 2020 election.
The first video removed was an interview called “Mike Lindell On What He Shared With The President & What Is Ultimately At Stake For Our Country” with the Trump-supporting founder of My Pillow.
The email detailing this video’s removal, which resulted in an initial warning, said the content “advances false claims that widespread fraud, errors, or glitches changed the outcome of the U.S. 2020 presidential election is not allowed on YouTube.”
Other videos removed included an interview with former Republican Congresswoman Michele Bachmann sharing her eyewitness account of the events of Jan. 6, a discussion on a “new era in America” and its “cultural, political and spiritual future,” as well as a video with John Zmirak discussing the censorship of the “violence-supporting left.”
Though the radio show will take a financial hit since YouTube was a significant revenue stream, its content is now available on Rumble, an alternative video-sharing platform.
“In fact this grotesque attack on free speech emboldens us dramatically in calling out Maoist and Soviet-style tactics for what they are, an expression of deepest fear that the truth can never be silenced,” Metaxas wrote in his post. “Because it cannot.”
Chris Himes, a social and video producer for the show, called the nature of the situation “oppressive.” Himes told CP the situation seemed “more punitive and subjective than rational.”
“Why did it take two months to issue the violation? #hachetjob We were a few days from one of the warnings expiring,” he said. “So they whacked us.”
He contends that the situation reminds him of the climate of places like Cuba, the country his mom’s family fled.
“It all felt very subjective, and in a couple instances, we would get a strike based on something that was three or four months old, so that led us to believe they were just looking for things that bothered them in our archives …,” Himes said.
“It feels very oppressive and reminds me of the climate that people in places like communist Cuba find themselves where they’re afraid to even utter the name of Castro out loud,” Himes shared. “… They’re so spooked about what they can’t say. They’re afraid to use certain words for fear of retribution.”
He said the community guidelines and policy seemed to change after the 2020 election.
“It feels that there is room for the next president to step in and break up these tech monopolies …,” Himes said. “Because things have gone too far, and the pendulum certainly needs to swing back the other way.”
Earlier this year, former President Donald Trump was banned from YouTube and all the leading social media apps after the Jan. 6 Capitol riots.

You will never miss that which you never had. Consider this! ‘Australia’s drug regulator, the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), is considering referring Facebook posts containing claims about COVID vaccine deaths to the police after a post showing Labor backbencher Julian Hill getting his vaccine was met with mass pushback from vaccine skeptics.
The post was ratioed with almost twice the number of comments to engagements – a common sign that a post is unpopular.
Many of the comments noted that the vaccine is “experimental,” described Hill’s post as “propaganda,” and voiced their objections to the vaccine.
But The Guardian Australia focused on alleged posts from some Facebook users that purportedly contained an image that cited the TGA and claimed that COVID-19 vaccines have caused more than 200 deaths.
The figure is a reference to the TGA’s disclosure in its May 27 COVID-19 vaccine weekly safety report that it has received “210 reports of deaths following immunisation.” However, the TGA insists that only one of these deaths was caused by the vaccines.
After The Guardian Australia contacted the TGA, it said the alleged posting of claims that the vaccine had caused more than 200 deaths were “particularly concerning” and that it would consider referring these posts to the federal police.
Additionally, the TGA noted that it’s a criminal offense, punishable by two years in prison, to represent oneself as a commonwealth body or claim to act on behalf of one.
The Guardian Australia also contacted Facebook which swiftly removed the posts for violating its far-reaching “COVID-19 misinformation” rules.
Despite the threat of police referrals from the TGA and Facebook removing the posts, Hill demanded that Australia’s health minister, Greg Hunt, take further action to “combat vaccine hesitancy, and the bat shit crazy conspiracy theories circulating online.”
He also warned “Australians will continue to be exposed to restrictions and lockdowns…until enough of the population is vaccinated.”
These developments come months after Australian lawmaker Craig Kelly had one of his Facebook posts about masks removed after complaints from the opposition party. Days after this post removal, his account was temporarily suspended and he was then permanently banned a couple of months later.
Facebook also expanded its crackdown on vaccine skeptic content last month by starting to “fact-check” and suppress individual users that repeatedly share misinformation. The New Zealand Government is pretty WOKE as well as being under the thumb of the CCP. There’s also something else to consider and that is the NZ media. ‘Is it because of the $55 million bestowed upon them – the “trusted media” (Jacinda’s words) – by a beneficent government eager for them to put the right spin on the story?
Just asking.
As many Kiwis now know, Jacinda in on record having pronounced from on high to the assembled reporters: “We will continue to be your sole source of truth” regarding the Covid story.
I didn’t notice any outrage coming from the “Fourth Estate” at that outrageous remark, no shrieks or even murmurs.
Just crickets.
They just swallowed hard; their paymaster had just spoken.
Just another day on the plantation.
That the press has bought into the patently ridiculous idea that the government is the sole source of “truth” means that any hope we might entertain that mainstream would do its job and investigate the true ramifications of this Covid pandemic – is misplaced and futile.
Remember this when you look at stuff.co.nz or pick up the NZ Herald. Much of your “news” has been bought and paid for, not only by big advertisers, but by a government beholden to a monumentally huge “Big Pharma” which has been “calling the shots” for many years, and is now fully determining what New Zealanders hear and see about Covid and other vaccines.

So it’s no surprise that New Zealand’s “trusted media” has gone along with the YouTube, social media and mainstream media censorship agenda, attacking New Zealand’s honest vaccine sceptics like The Real News, AdvanceNZ and Voices for Freedom together with thousands of doctors and scientists around the world.
– Including America’s Frontline Doctors which together with thousands of doctors worldwide came out strongly in favour of Hydroxychloroquine.
Many people here have stood with NZ’s courageous lawyer Sue Grey who has dared to notice that not only does the “official story” not stand up under scrutiny, governments the world over – including NZ – are using the pandemic to grab what amounts to dictatorial power over all our lives.
The facts, which our “trusted media” have refused to acknowledge, are simple:
- There are several preventative and successful treatment options for Covid. These include Hydroxychloroquine with zinc, Ivermectin, intravenous vitamin C, vitamin D, and probably the amino acid lysine, among others.
- Any of these when used appropriately can stop Covid in its tracks.
- All are cheap as chips, and because they work, they are seen as a huge threat to vaccine companies like Pfizer and Moderna. Who would go for a poorly tested experimental vaccine when a few dollars worth of Ivermectin or intravenous vitamin C would do the job with few, if any, side effects?
- Consequently there is not only an embargo on success stories in the mainstream media, there is a concerted effort by mainstream to rubbish those outlets like The Real News that dares to publish … well, the real news.
- And shockingly the NZ Ministry of Health at this writing, more than a year since the pandemic began still does NOT recommend ANY therapies (drug or natural) to treat Covid-19, other than hand washing, social distancing, masks and vaccines. This is international and it’s an outrage.
Recently “official organs” like Radio NZ, The NZ Herald and Stuff.co.nz have gone out of their way to disparage Voices for Freedom and The Real News for publishing “misinformation” – their new favourite word – with four articles up to now.
They never quite get around to telling anyone what this “misinformation” actually is. “Misinformation” is what the government is giving the people of New Zealand.
Instead they dredge up some pompous academics to riffle through The Real News on camera, trying to disparage the magazine with selected adjectives and shopworn epithets – but never once contesting the facts.
They question the qualifications of our writers, without ever acknowledging that our sources include medical journals like The Lancet, and official sites like VAERS, or even a highly respected German neurologist.
Instead they trot out people like Dr. Nikki Turner (who works for IMAC which promotes vaccination and gets funding from “private industry”) and “vaccinologist” Helen Petousis-Harris to tell the country how “safe and effective” the vaccines are. (She omits to say that the touted 95% efficacy of the Pfizer/BioNTech mRNA Covid-19 vaccine was based on approximately two months follow up of trial participants.)
Petoussis-Harris is also on record as saying that there have been “hundreds of millions who have had [Covid vaccines] and there’s no indication they kill people.” Yikes.
This is a ridiculous statement in view of the cases of people who have developed severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis) within a few minutes of Covid vaccination and subsequently died – despite the best efforts of medical staff to save their lives.
The website of the US government Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS) includes thousands of reports on “Adverse Events” like deaths and serious new medical conditions following injection with experimental Covid jabs but people like Helen Petousis-Harris seem to want you to believe that this tidal wave of reported new medical conditions and deaths of recently vaccinated people is all a coincidence.
The fact is that in NZ, the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine was approved only for a “limited” number of recipients – not the entire country.
This has been the subject of a recent case in the High Court in which the judge agreed that the roll out of the Covid vaccine in NZ was not legal – but declined to stop the vaccination programme.
The NZ government’s response was to first issue a press release stating that they would update the law, and then to change the law so that the illegal roll out would become legal. (The phrase “making it up as they go along” comes to mind.)
And in the United States the Covid vaccines only have “Emergency Authorisation” from the FDA and not full approval, which may or may not come in 2022 and 2023.
However, although they don’t have any evidence for their assertions, mainstream media continue to fulfil their assigned role as “trusted media”.
So they puff themselves up with their titles, credentials and adjectives.
And hope that you haven’t been paying attention.
If you have been reading The Real News, you will know that its sources are impeccable, the evidence available for verification by anyone with a computer and an internet connection.
“Anyone” includes “trusted” journalists working for “trusted” media companies.
But they don’t want to look.
