Australia is heading into winter and is shutting down their coal power stations to rely on wind and solar. It will be a long cold winter. Yet, the Australian Federal government has the audacity to tell its own citizens that it is sending coal to Ukraine for “their energy needs”! What have these politicians had to drink?

We are providing $91 million in military assistance, $65 million in humanitarian assistance, 70,000 tonnes of thermal coal to meet Ukraine’s energy needs, as well as temporary protection visas and support for Ukrainian community groups in Australia.
We continue to work with partners to impose the maximum costs against Russia, through targeted sanctions on individuals and entities, the prohibition of energy, oil and gas products from Russia, and a ban on exports of alumina and bauxite to Russia.
This includes listing more than 500 individuals and entities to date. This is the largest ever imposition of sanctions by Australia against a single country.
Our sanctions target President Putin and his circle of oligarchs and propagandists, military commanders and members of Parliament, as well as those who facilitated the invasion from outside Russia, including the leadership of neighbouring Belarus.
Our listings include 80 percent of Russia’s banking sector and all government entities that handle Russia’s sovereign debt.
Our co-ordinated action with partners significantly undermines Russia’s ability to continue financing President Putin’s war.
Members of Parliament and Senators will be joined for the address in the Chamber by representatives from the Ukrainian Embassy, Ukrainian-Australian community, and Embassies from around the world.

With an Australian Federal election looming soon the choice of good leaders is very dim.
Those in charge continue to push these experimental shots no matter how they have affected so many lives! Now, it has been announced by the Australian government that Moderna will be made in Melbourne, Australia so that more lives may be affected!

Do these politicians believe this or are they just appeasing the aboriginals? Money down the toilet and the Government just shovels more into it! ‘Don’t expect Australia’s peak science body to come up with a vaccine against ‘wokeness’. They are, themselves, riddled with it.
Last week, the CSIRO announced it was abandoning science to chase the pot of gender confusion at the end of the LGBTQ+ rainbow – a case of spending taxpayer gold in pursuit of the fools’ kind.
In an announcement timed to coincide with the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras, our Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation said it would be offering staff extra leave for ‘gender reassignment’ surgery.
Our premier science organisation no longer regards gender as a fixed biological reality. Instead, gender is something assigned at birth – often incorrectly, as it so happens – but that can be ‘reassigned’ with a surgeon’s knife and the state-approved adjustment to birth certificates.
While telling the public to ‘follow the science’, our scientific community has decided to follow Caitlyn Jenner.
So-called ‘experts’ tell us that ‘the science is settled’ on climate change, but are happy to do a bit of casual re-writing on the basics of biology.
I’m sure the irony isn’t lost on people demonised for questioning ‘climate science’.
In particular, the CSIRO’s Gender Affirmation policy entitles staff to take time off for medical appointments before and after surgery, and to organise new birth certificates. This is probably annoying for staff who would like extra time off for non-woke activities.
All staff are to be given ‘diversity training’ to make the CSIRO more welcoming for non-binary, trans, and gender-diverse team members.
Finally, CSIRO computer software will be updated to allow researchers to display their preferred pronouns.
It’s all very sciencey.
CSIRO spokesman Chris Gerbing boasted that the Australian government agency responsible for scientific research had given staff permission to ‘be themselves at work’. The public, who are bankrolling the CSIRO, would probably rather its scientists knuckle down and get some work done.
Imagine what a ghastly work environment the CSIRO used to be before the Gender Affirmation Policy came into effect… All those un-affirmed genders out there, forced to walk the corridors and do research without ‘being themselves’. After all, an employer’s chief role is to continuously affirm the gender and sexual preferences of their staff, is it not? Or was it to not ask personal questions?
The Pride@CSIRO Network Leadership, which among other things exists to identify LGBTQI+ staff and their allies, claimed ‘diversity of thought is crucial to doing impactful science’.

With an Australian Federal election coming sometime in May the following is a must read. ‘Comrade Albo and his buddy Adam Bandt are two red peas in a pod, and their younger years as spotty faced commies are all the evidence one needs to be convinced.
As reported by James Morrow this week, a young Anthony Albanese participated in a forum with the official magazine of the Communist Party of Australia (CPA) nearly 18 months after the Berlin Wall fell and the horrors of the Marxist political system were exposed.
The interview, which appeared in the April 3, 1991 edition of the Communist Party’s house organ Tribune, was part of a feature called “The changing Left – coherence, theory”.
Albanese was included as one of a number of figures who were asked by the paper to “respond to a series of propositions and to each other” and admitted it was easier to take potshots from opposition because “being in government confronts the labour movement as a whole, not just the Labor Party, with questions which the Left failed to consider … how Labor puts its principles into action, how we deal with questions of the internationalisation of capital.”
“It’s easier to construct a vision of an antinuclear society or an environmentally aware society or one based on equality,” he said.
As well as running the interview with Mr Albanese, the same edition of Tribune ran a classified ad promoting an upcoming “politics in the pub” talk involving the future Opposition Leader entitled, “Socialist Politics: Past Tense, Future Prospects.
Why did comrade Albo get so much attention in far-left circles back then?
Well in the early 1990s Mr Albanese led a faction known as the “Hard Left” which had close ties to communist organisations, and even his own buddies admit it. In a November 2000 article by future Labor frontbencher Andrew Leigh, the Hard Left was described as being “led by Anthony Albanese”.
“This group was more concerned than the Soft Left with international issues and maintained closer links with broader left-wing groups such as the Communist Party of Australia,” he wrote.
If you thought that was bad, Greens leader Adam Bandt’s earlier years are even more concerning.
In a two-page memo written back in 1995 while he was a student politician at Murdoch University, Bandt said he was “towards an anti-capitalist, anti-social democratic, internationalist movement”.
If that’s not a communist, what is?
Identifying himself as a member of the Left Alliance, Mr Bandt said, “the parliamentary road to socialism is non-existent”. He called the Greens a “bourgeois” party but said supporting them might be the most effective strategy.
“Communists can’t fetishise alternative political parties but should always make some kind of materially based assessment about the effectiveness of any given strategy come election time,” he wrote in the 1995 memo.

The LNP may just be a little better than Labor or Greens but to give us our freedoms back put Labor, Greens and LNP last.
