The following article will (I trust) make you think. Dr. Don Boys writes ‘The allegation is made that present day America has benefited greatly from the slavery of 150 years ago, and consequently it is only reasonable that we should pay the descendants of those who “built this nation.” Hold it. If that is true, then how can
one say that only white Americans have benefited? Haven’t blacks also benefited? After all, American Blacks, as a group, have more money than many of the nations of the world! According to David Horowitz, their income is up to fifty times more than that of Blacks “living in any of the African nations from which they were kidnapped.” So if present-day Whites have benefited from slavery, so have present-day Blacks.
American Blacks had and have incredible opportunities to be successful in our nation for which I am grateful; they have opportunities they would not have had in Africa. It is also a fact that the poorest Black in the roughest U.S. ghetto is many times better off than those Blacks living in totalitarian “nations” in Africa. In fact, if I were a Black, I would thank God that my ancestors were brought here so I would have the privilege to live in such a free country where I had the opportunity to hear the Gospel of Christ instead of living in constant fear of pagan gods, pandemic diseases, predator animals, tribal wars, starvation, cannibals, etc. While the slave trade was horrific and all connected to it were incredible criminals, there are some positive residual effects for which I would be thankful if I were black.
My boyhood hero Booker T. Washington wrote in Up From Slavery, “Then, when we rid ourselves of prejudice, or racial feeling, and look facts in the face, we must acknowledge that, notwithstanding the cruelty and moral wrong of slavery, the ten million Negroes inhabiting this country, who themselves or whose ancestors went through the school of American slavery, are in a stronger and more hopeful condition, materially, intellectually, morally, and religiously, than is true of an equal number of black people in any other portion of the globe.”
While we must never slip into the darkness of defending slavery, we must also not veer into the academic crime of inventing history or not revealing the totality of an issue for fear of being thought infamous, incompetent, or ignorant.
It is a fact that the Romans conquered Great Britain (then a gaggle of uncivilized tribes) at an enormous price in savagery; but the basic infrastructure, the foundation for law, and technology that they left behind had much to do with Britain becoming a world-girdling empire upon which it was said, “The sun never sets.”
Julius Caesar invaded Great Britain in 55 and 54 B.C. and installed a local boy as king who was responsible to Rome. Rome permitted the locals to take care of Rome’s business. The empire was ruled from the towns where councils formed of local citizens were responsible for tax-collection and keeping order in the surrounding countryside. It was a masterful plan that worked well for everyone. A great nation was in the making.
While the victims of Roman invasion could not have seen anything positive in the Roman invasion of Great Britain, the present generation would be dishonest or uninformed if the many positive residual benefits were not recognized. The crude villages became replicas of Roman towns with market squares, temples, bathhouses, shopping malls, and hotels. Caesar was very wise to not position foreign overlords to administrate the towns and collect taxes but permitted the locals to rule for them. Everyone was happy as Britain rather quickly morphed into a miniaturized Rome. But Rome was crumbling and under constant attack from pagan tribes and the emperor left Roman soldiers stationed in Britain to fend for themselves. By mid-fifth century, the Roman influence had almost disappeared as the soldiers (not getting paid from Rome) became farmers, laborers, outlaws, and vagabonds in far-away England.
Rome left its mark on Great Britain using their troops (occupied in fighting only 10% of the time) to build water systems, sewage, and sanitation systems, beacons, canals, ports, aqueducts, walls, bridges and roads which are legendary–some even being used today! Even with that, the major contribution of Rome on England was the extent which Roman law played in the development of common law of England and consequently in the United States.
For an Englishman to say that he owes nothing or very little to the Roman invaders (or that they owe him) is foolish and not factual. And for modern Blacks not to recognize that there were major residual effects from slavery is not factual but foolishness and false and has the earmarks of fanaticism.
While no sane person defends slavery, all honest people recognize that modern Blacks are far better off than their ancestors who sat around camp fires with a lifetime threat from cannibals, hunger, pagan religion, and often rival chieftains and slavers.

What is wrong wth not only society in general but specifically the University Campus where a professor can condemn by gone days of slavery by white Americans but defend slavery when it comes to Islam? Well, Muslim convert Professor Jonathan A. C. Brown of Georgtown Uni can!

The Clinton administration used the executive branch’s broad power over immigration to send a 6-year-old boy back to a communist dictatorship. The courts were completely powerless to stop him.

When Arizona merely tried to enforce the federal immigration laws being ignored by the Obama administration, the entire media erupted in rage at this incursion into the majestic power of the president over immigration. They said it was like living in Nazi Germany!
The most reviled section of the act, melodramatically called the “Papers Please” law, was upheld by the Supreme Court. But the other parts, allowing state officials to enforce federal immigration laws, were ruled unconstitutional. A president’s policy choice to ignore immigration laws supersedes a state’s right to enforce them.
The court conceded that hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens were arrested in Arizona each year, that they were responsible for “a disproportionate share of serious crime,” and that illegals constituted nearly 6 percent of Arizona’s population.
But Arizona was powerless to enforce laws on the books — if those laws happened to be about immigration. The president’s authority over immigration is absolute and exclusive, as part of his authority over foreign policy.

That is what should happen to National Geographic Magazine that has insulted every pro-family person in America. In January, they have a nine-year-old boy’s photo on the cover; however, he thinks he is a she! The magazine is known for its amazing photos and articles of exotic and often unknown animals but now they are promoting the deceitful, dangerous, and destructive falsehood of transgenderism! They have disregarded the scientific evidence that people who think they have another person inside them are deluded, deceived, and demented people. As many as 40% of “trangenders” have tried to kill themselves! They don’t need to have surgery; they need spiritual, emotional, and mental help.
So, now National Geographic, by supporting transgenderism, is anti-science and encouraging child abuse with junk science! Who would have thunk it?
National Geographic needs to go out of business and I will help them do so. I have cancelled my subscription and will no longer purchase their upscale clothing line. I will no longer support child abuse and pernicious pro-perversion propaganda.
Normal people need to decide that we are in a battle and will take measures to win by refusing to do business with any business that supports any issue that is perverse or promotes abortion and other anti-family issues. We should not wait for some group to start the boycott ball rolling and when enough of us immediately refuse to patronize such businesses and we inform them and others why we are no longer customers, then even the dullest and most ardent leftist will get the message. Most of them must understand that there is a connection between their anti-family positions and an empty cash register.
It seems large businesses can be very successful then do some very dumb things. Look at Target as an example. They are tottering on the brink of failure. So are J.C. Penney and Sears.
The LGBTQ lobby lists those businesses that do not support their cause and Exxon was number one on the unfriendly gay list followed by Dollar General, Family Dollar; Dick’s Sporting Goods and others. The MOST friendly businesses to perversion are Procter & Gamble; JPMorgan Chase & Co; IBM; Citigroup; Bank of America; AT&T; Ford; General Motors; Starbucks; Google; Men’s Warehouse; General Mills; American Express; Marriott; Disney, and others. Do your own research and stay up-to-date.
Some of my crowd, even preachers, will suggest that they are too busy to get involved in a boycott. Say what? Those same pastors give the impression that they work day and night preaching the Gospel, visiting the sick, feeding the hungry, knocking on doors, etc. Of course, everyone knows they spend time on the golf course, bowling alleys, hunting, fishing, and watching some of the new vile television shows. So, I think all religious leaders and decent laymen can spare a couple hours every couple months to take a public position on decency as supported by the Bible they profess to believe. Preachers who are critical of boycotts are willing to preach from the pulpit but not practice in the public and on social media what they say they believe.
Others will tell us that they can’t be involved in boycott because it is not right to demand a business owner serve them as did the Civil Rights demonstrators. But that’s the point: we don’t want them to serve us. We want to serve them! We want to convince them that it is a stupid business decision to antagonize 98% of their customer base. We want to help them, not hurt or harass them. An aggressive and successful boycott is “tough love.”
It is declared that we cannot know the position of every business firm so it is impossible to be consistent. That is true but it is a senseless argument. If I am uninformed about a firm’s position on homosexuality, abortion, etc., then it must not be a big problem and a boycott is unnecessary; however when we know a firm is actively anti-family then we must react.
We who are committed to using money as a weapon will do our best to encourage pro-family
firms by telling our friends about them and spending our money at their businesses. At the same time, we will boycott anti-family (usually pro-homosexual) firms and tell our friends about it. That is the Christian thing to do.
We are determined to remind all who will listen that we are the people who love homosexuals and transgenders enough to tell them the truth about perversion. We are in the ministry of nudging, not pushing, other decent people to get involved.
Furthermore, no lucid individual says it is wrong for a person to be selective in the spending of his own money. If he does not like the business owner, does not like the service, or the excessive charges, etc., he can choose to spend his money elsewhere. So, why is that perfectly legitimate if done by one person but wrong if multiple people do the same thing?
So, no Coke and Girl Scout cookies, and I hope you will do the same. Anyway, that kind of stuff might send you to Heaven quicker than your scheduled departure. I will survive not reading National Geographic; besides, they still haven’t received the message that evolution is false, a failure, and a fraud, another reason they should shut down their presses and quietly disappear.
