‘Multiculturalism is meeting reality once again as Afghan refugees are making their presence known in the countries that welcomed them, and the fun is just beginning. One place that has experienced the richness and vibrance of diversity is Scarborough, North Yorkshire, England, which is a popular vacation spot. It’s easy to see why: It’s on the Yorkshire Coast in a beautiful area, and when its architecturally stunning Grand Hotel was built in 1867, it was the largest hotel in Europe. The hotel still boasts numerous attractions. It is described on Tripadvisor as “one of the town’s landmark features and instantly recognisable on the skyline,” taking “pride of place overlooking the town’s harbour and South Bay.” The description continues: “Our location is ideal in Scarborough from which to enjoy beautiful sandy beaches, promenade walks and all that Scarborough has to offer, all within a short stroll away. LIVE entertainment is available every night with our dazzling cabaret shows featuring professional dancers and entertainers dressed in stunning costumes.” A newer feature of the hotel, however, 200 Afghan evacuees, has quickly changed perceptions of the hotel. The staff, when confronted with complaints, called the complainers “racist.” But that’s an all-purpose objection nowadays, so frequently employed as to be emptied of all meaning. It’s clear that hotel guests at the Grand Hotel had plenty to complain about.
One of the hotel’s recent guests wrote:
Stayed in the hotel while working away contracting in East Yorkshire
I caught scabies and can only presume it was from this filthy hell hole
Also caught a man deficating [sic] into a carrier bag !
What the hell is going on in this hotel.
I would not stay ever again!!
What a shame that the government would do this to a seaside town
Disgrace
As revolting as it is, that bit about the carrier bag shouldn’t surprise anyone. The Wall Street Journal recently noted that new Afghan arrivals at Fort McCoy in Wisconsin were “confused and upset by hygiene practices. Every toilet on base was Western style, with a seat and toilet paper. But a number of Afghans are accustomed to restrooms that allow them to squat so they don’t have to physically touch the toilet. It led to some cases of Afghans relieving themselves outside.” And into carrier bags at the Grand Hotel Scarborough.’https://www.jihadwatch.org/2021/10/afghan-refugees-were-placed-in-a-popular-vacation-hotel-heres-what-happened
The following is from an email received from the Australian SPECTATOR.
‘The Prince of Wails’ activism threatens our monarchy
Next month in Glasgow there is yet another UN gabfest on climate change.
The host country, Britain, is wheeling out Prince Charles and Prince William to not only meet and greet delegates, but to speak. What they’ll say is predictable as both have made their private views on climate change very public: they are paid-up activist disciples of the Chauncey Gardner of climatology, Greta Thunberg.
With the Queen now 95, the Prince of Wails could become King at any time – not just of Britain but of Australia and all his other ‘realms and territories’. A King who has strong opinions, and believes he is entitled as King to strut the international political stage as an actor in his own right, was the norm 250 years ago, but not today.
If Charles and William do not accept they should be seen but not heard, the monarchy is in far greater danger than from the freeloading spectacles that are Harry, Meghan and Andrew. Indeed, the bloviators of the Australian Republican Movement see Charles and his lack of self-awareness as their secret weapon.
If only the Queen – a paragon of discretion and constitutional virtue – could live forever and save us from her eldest son.’
‘The chairman of a Grantham football club says that he has been backed by the team’s supporters’ group after he claimed that refugees staying in the town were “roaming the streets” for drugs.
A meeting of Grantham Town’s supporters’ club on Saturday, September 25, met to vote on a statement that would have asked the team’s chairman, Darren Ashton, to apologise for his comment and to retract it.
But the group has confirmed to Lincolnshire Live that the statement was not backed because it felt that it would be “inappropriate” to comment whilst the FA were investigating the matter.
The investigation also meant that the supporters’ group didn’t want to offer any further comment to Lincolnshire Live.
Mr Ashton claimed that only two people in the meeting voted in favour of the statement, and that the supporters’ group has around 300 members, although he does not know how many were in attendance at the meeting as he wasn’t able to attend.
A representative from the supporters’ group told Lincolnshire Live that the number of members was in fact 113.
The Urban Hotel on Swingbridge Road in Grantham is currently home to refugees from Afghanistan after the British Government pledged to take in 20,000 refugees from the landlocked country over the next five years following the recent withdrawal of British troops.
In a tweet posted about this on the evening of Thursday, September 9, Mr Ashton said: “True story, I’m the chairman of Grantham Town, and we had one of our players staying there on a long-term agreement.
“Last Friday they informed him he had to be out by Monday. No consideration for an 18-year-old lad away from his family and friends trying to make a career for himself.”
He then posted a further tweet in the conversation, which read: “Those refugees are as we speak roaming the streets of Grantham trying to get drugs.”
Mr Ashton then tweeted again on Friday morning saying: “It would appear I upset a few people last night with some of my responses to there [sic] messages.
“I would like to take this opportunity to apologise to absolutely NO ONE. Good day to you all.”
Speaking to Lincolnshire Live following the result of the supporters’ group meeting being announced, Mr Ashton said: “A massive majority voted in my favour which I’m very happy about because a lot of people have misrepresented what I said.”
Mr Ashton says that he didn’t single out Afghan refugees in particular, as he claimed that refugees of other nationalities are staying at the hotel.
He said: “All along I’ve asked for people to point exactly to something I’ve said which was racist and they can’t.
“I have already said that the way I worded the tweets was a bit poor and I’ve apologised for that side of things, but I’m a council lad who hasn’t got a degree like most other people so sometimes my wording is poor.
“But I won’t apologise for the actual content of what I said because I’m not a racist, and I’m not right-wing as some people have said.
“What I’ve learnt during this process is that if you happen to disagree with someone who is on the left, then you are labelled right-wing.”
Lincolnshire Live understands the national FA have now taken up the investigation into 45-year-old Mr Ashton, who is from Sheffield.
Mr Ashton added: “As far as I’m aware the FA investigation is not football related because the lads are still being paid and the academy is going well.
“We’ve got all ethnicities and nationalities working at the club and I invested £60,000 of my own money last year, and again this year.
“Doing this job is a thankless task, and I get calls from reporters such as yourselves ringing me up when I could be doing other things, but I don’t mind it and I will stand strong on this.”‘https://www.lincolnshirelive.co.uk/news/local-news/supporters-back-chairman-lincolnshire-football-5971622
Unbelievable or is it? ‘A UK Islamic Sharia Council scholar has claimed that the Taliban have ‘grown up’ and British Muslims are ‘celebrating’ the return of the jihadi group to power.
Since taking over Afghanistan, the jihadi group has claimed it will not carry out violence against women, and will not ‘seek vengeance’ on those who stood against them during the brutal 20-year war in the region.
Sharia Council scholar Khola Hasan today told BBC Radio 4 that the Islamist group’s recent posturing on women’s rights was a ‘good start’, and ‘every single person that I know, as a Muslim’ was ‘celebrating’ their return.
She added: ‘They have been ruled by foreigners for 40 years, let the people of Afghanistan rule their own country and determine their own fate for a change.’
Fears over reprisal attacks and a return to the brutal rule of the jihadis have brought about deep unrest, with Western nations struggle to cope with the thousands of foreign nationals and locals trying to leave the country in the week since the Taliban retook power.
When asked about reports of women and children being beaten and whipped as they pass through checkpoints in Afghanistan, Ms Hasan said Afghanistan is a ‘tribal society with tribal loyalties’, with ‘a lot of violence within the communities’ amid decades of ‘occupation’.
Ms Hasan said: ‘We have to be very careful not to take small, minor incidents and make them into something huge.’
She added that ‘western media loves misrepresenting Muslims’, telling Sunday morning listeners: ‘The kind of language that came out from Western media when the Taliban took over – civil war, monsters, they’re going to slaughter people, it’s going to be awful, poor women, oh blah blah blah we’re going to cry our eyes out, poor women are going back into Medieval times, and all the rest of it.
‘It’s been misrepresented for so long that I’ve got used to it, I don’t even blink an eyelid anymore.’
Ms Hasan was told the world had ‘seen this movie before’, referring to promises to be compassionate and merciful following the sack of Kabul 25 years ago.
She replied: ‘No we haven’t because the Taliban have grown up, they were not exposed to the modern world, so what they were saying 20 years ago this was a myopic, insulated, small organisation, living in the mountains, very illiterate, very uneducated, not just about the world but about Islam itself…
‘They’re learning. That’s not an easy thing to do, to come from hundreds of years of one way practising your faith, and then suddenly exposed to different ways to think oh maybe we got it wrong. The problem is we don’t give them a chance.’
Her comments come after the United States and Germany told their citizens in Afghanistan to avoid travelling to Kabul airport, citing security risks as thousands of desperate people gathered trying to flee.
At least 12 people have been killed in and around the single-runway airfield since last Sunday, NATO and Taliban officials said. Some were shot and others died in stampedes, witnesses have said.
Britain’s Ministry of Defence said seven Afghans have been killed in the chaos around the airport. ‘Conditions on the ground remain extremely challenging but we are doing everything we can to manage the situation as safely and securely as possible,’ the ministry said in a statement.
The Taliban’s swift takeover of Afghanistan has sparked fear of reprisals and a return to a harsh version of Islamic law the Sunni Muslim group exercised when it was in power two decades ago.
Crowds have grown at the airport in the heat and dust of the day over the past week, hindering operations as the United States and other nations attempt to evacuate thousands of their diplomats and civilians as well as numerous Afghans. Mothers, fathers and children have pushed up against concrete blast walls in the crush as they seek to get a flight out.
The Taliban follow an ultra-hardline version of Islam. They have sought to present a more moderate face since returning to power, saying they want peace and will respect the rights of women within the framework of Islamic law.
When in power from 1996 to 2001, also guided by Islamic law, the Taliban stopped women from working or going out without wearing an all-enveloping burqa and stopped girls from going to school.’https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9916147/We-chance-UK-Sharia-Council-scholar-insists-Taliban-grown-up.html
Abortion is MURDER and ‘Since March 2020, over 70,000 women in England and Wales have undergone DIY home abortion.
Abortion pills are being sent to women by abortion providers after calls as short as 30 minutes, without any face to face assessment, identity checks or ultra sound scans to see how far into the pregnancy the women are.
The abortion industry claims these new measures are “safe, ethical and effective” however the evidence suggests the total opposite.
Care for Women is a partnership of UK pro-life groups seeking to compassionately expose and detail the true impact these pills are having on women’s health and society at large through stories, data gathering and discussion.
We share a deep concern, not just for the unborn babies killed by these pills, but for the women taking them, without any in-person medical supervision, often totally alone. We care for women.‘https://www.careforwomen.co.uk/
Here’s a little background. It was ‘In March 2020, just before the first national lockdown began, a notice appeared on the government website, which appeared to allow women to conduct their own medical abortions at home.
Outcry followed and the notice was removed, the government confessing that it had been ‘published in error’. Any visitors to the website were reassured that there would “be no changes to abortion regulations.”
Back in Parliament, Matt Hancock, Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, assured the House of Commons that “We have no proposals to change any abortion rules as part of the covid-19 response.” And Health Minister Lord Bethell told the House of Lords, “we do not agree that women should be able to take both treatments for medical abortion at home. We believe that it is an essential safeguard that a woman attends a clinic, to ensure that she has an opportunity to be seen alone and to ensure that there are no issues.”
Yet, just days later, the government made an extraordinary U-turn, amending abortion regulations to allow women to abort their child at home.
Since then, over 70,000 women in England and Wales in the UK, have undergone DIY home abortion.’https://www.careforwomen.co.uk/diy-abortion-history

Here in New South Wales, Australia the state government is pouring millions if not billions into the unreliable renewables! Solar works when the sun shines and turbines when the wind blows! I know it and the politicians know it but they continue down this road to ruin. Just ‘Visit the Third World and you’ll quickly understand the importance of having power as and when you need it. In the Western World, an obsession with chaotically intermittent wind and solar will save you the trip.
Wind and solar ‘powered’ South Australians and Californians know all about Third World power supplies – with routine rationing, load shedding and mass blackouts part and parcel of their efforts to run on sunshine and breezes.
In Britain, power consumers are about to get their very own taste of mass power rationing, of a kind that’s more familiar to Cubans and North Koreans.
The grid manager is going to use household Smart Meters to cut the power off, whenever wind and solar output collapses.’ More detail on how the UK is in relation to this stupidity at https://stopthesethings.com/2020/10/09/energy-unplugged-government-plans-to-cut-your-power-whenever-wind-solar-output-collapses/
There’s no winning when it comes to seeking to pacify Islam.
‘Zakaria Kioua won a bottle of Cognac in an employee raffle, but the raffle organizers decided to give him chocolates instead, so as to avoid offending his Islamic sensibilities. But he says: “As a human, I should have been asked. They know I do not have problems receiving alcohol.” And now his bosses have to pay him nearly $3,000 for the crime of trying to avoid offending him.
What’s more, “he was offered a replacement bottle of Cognac and told ‘no offence was intended,’” and that still wasn’t good enough. Kioua insists: “They don’t want that prize to be going to me and they’ve used my religion to get what they want.”
So you see how it is in shattered, staggering, dhimmi Britain now: trying to avoid “Islamophobia” is “Islamophobic.” Zakaria Kioua claimed to have been victimized for being a Muslim for being (momentarily and partially) prevented from acting in a non-Islamic manner.
The overarching lesson is this: no matter what you do, if a Muslim ends up getting offended, non-Muslim officials are going to make you pay. They have made Muslims a protected class in Britain.’https://www.jihadwatch.org/2020/09/uk-muslim-migrant-awarded-2900-after-bosses-decide-not-to-give-him-cognac-to-avoid-offending-him?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=the_2020_09_29_jihad_watch_daily_digest&utm_term=2020-09-29
The Leftist Loony Lovies are out for our children and grandchildren. Proverbs 1:15 My son, walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path
‘A Christian school teaching assistant who was fired from Farmor’s School in Fairford, Gloucestershire last year after she shared concerns about plans to teach that gender is a matter of choice to young school children is seeking £56,000 ($71,560) in damages at a UK employment tribunal.
Christie Higgs had worked at the school for seven years before being fired over two Facebook posts which didn’t mention her employer and were shared under her maiden name to around 100 of her friends. The investigation that ultimately resulted in Higgs being terminated was triggered by a single anonymous complaint.
In the first October 24, 2018 Facebook post, Higgs shared her concerns about a UK government consultation into making Relationships and Sex Education mandatory in schools, described the proposal as “brainwashing our children,” and linked to a petition opposing the government’s plans.

In the second October 27, 2018 Facebook post, Higgs linked to an article about schools using brightly illustrated children’s books to teach children about transgender ideology and wrote: “This is happening in our Primary Schools now! ”. The books featured in the article include a book about a boy who wants to wear a dress and a book about a red crayon that discovers it’s really blue.

At the time of the second post, Higgs had discovered that several of these books had been introduced at her son’s Church of England primary school.
After Higgs made the first Facebook post, a single anonymous complaint was made to the school on October 26, 2018 which accused her of “posting homophobic and prejudiced views against the LGBT community on Facebook.”
Days after this complaint, Higgs was suspended, investigated, and ultimately dismissed in January 2019 after a disciplinary hearing.
According to the Christian Legal Center, which is representing Higgs, the school indicated that Higgs was terminated for “illegal discrimination, serious inappropriate use of social media, and online comments that could bring the school into disrepute and damage the reputation of the school.”
However, the school admitted that there was “no evidence” its reputation had been damaged to date.
Higgs has also accused a school governor and the disciplinary hearing’s chairman of branding her a “pro-Nazi,” “far-right” extremist during the disciplinary hearing.
Additionally, Higgs said that while she was being investigated, the school had trawled through her work emails, questioned why she had used her school email to receive “inspirational” quotations from the Bible, and told her that she had no absolute rights to freedom of expression or to share her religious beliefs.
In a statement submitted to the employment tribunal, Higgs said: “I believe that God created mankind as ‘male and female’ and what he has created is good. He does not make mistakes. I therefore do not believe in the modern ideas of gender fluidity and transgenderism.”
Higgs added that she was concerned that many parents across the country didn’t know what was going on and that she felt it “morally necessary to speak out in defense of the Bible truth when false and harmful doctrines are being promoted.”
The chief executive of the Christian Legal Center, Andrea Williams, told MailOnline: “This case is about the freedom to hold Christian views about what it means to be human. Many Christians have faced pressure for expressing these views in the workplace before, but in this case, Kristie has been dismissed for sharing her views among friends on Facebook.”
Williams added that Higgs has an exemplary record at the school and that if she doesn’t win the case, her entire career will be tarnished and she won’t be able to work with children again.
“I have been punished for sharing concerns about relationships and sex education,” Higgs said. “My number one concern has always been the effect that learning about sex and gender in school will have on children at such a young age.”
Higgs’ case against her former employer follows several other people being fired after challenging transgender ideology on social media.
Last month, assistant literary agent Sasha White was fired from her job at The Tobias Literary Agency after transgender activists complained that her alternative Twitter account, which made no reference to her employer, was “transphobic.”
And earlier this month, Canadian political candidate Roland Michaud was dropped by his party after online complaints about an almost two year old meme about Target’s 2016 announcement that it would be allowing “transgender team members and guests to use the restroom or fitting room facility that corresponds with their gender identity.”
In addition to people being fired for opposing transgender ideology, many major institutions, including TedXLondon and CNN, are erasing references to women in their public statements and articles and replacing it with terms such as “individuals with a cervix” as part of a push towards more “inclusive” language.’https://reclaimthenet.org/christie-higgs-employment-tribunal-lgbt-facebook-posts/
