Romans 1:25 ‘Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.’
Men will worship someone or something for worship is in their DNA. For instance, murderous Cain was a man of worship albeit the wrong worship. Nevertheless, down

through the ages, man has worshipped someone or something!
God’s Word in the above verse tells us that man left to himself will worship and serve what has been created more or in place of the Creator Himself. For example, the religion of climate change has brought mankind down the aisle to worshipping at the altar of Mother Earth. Note these quotes;
‘…from R. Mark Musser’s book, Nazi Ecology: The Oak Sacrifice of the Judeo-Christian Worldview in the Holocaust:
“Isn’t the only hope for the planet that the industrialized civilizations collapse? Isn’t it our duty to bring that about?” – The late Maurice Strong, then Secretary General of the United Nations Environment Programme
“In our deeply interdependent world today, the iron rule remains – our world is one, unseparated, and interdependent. It is this world that is threatened by the impact of man’s unplanned, selfish, and ever growing activities.” – Kurt Waldheim, former Austrian Nazi and UN Secretary General
“If radical environmentalists were to invent a disease to bring human populations back to sanity, it would probably be something like AIDS.” – Earth First! Newsletter
“We have wished, we eco-freaks, for a disaster or for a social change to come and bomb us into the Stone Age.” – Stewart Brand, Whole Earth Catalogue
“Human happiness, and certainly human fecundity, is not as important as a wild and healthy planet: Some of us can only hope for the right virus to come long.” – David Graber, biologist, National Park Service
“Given the total, absolute, and final disappearance of Homo Sapiens not only would the Earth’s Community of Life continue to exist but the ending of the human epoch on Earth would be greeted with a hearty ‘good riddance.’” – Dr. Paul Taylor, professor of philosophy, City College of New York.
“If I could be reincarnated, I would return as a killer virus to lower human population levels.” – Prince Phillip Duke of Edinburgh, patron of World Wildlife Fund.
“The earth is a mosque.” – Ibrahim Abdul-Matin, Muslim environmentalist
“The earth has a cancer and the cancer is Man.” – Club of Rome
“Nature is my god. To me, nature is sacred: trees are my temples and forests my cathedral.” – Mikhail Gorbachev, founder of Green Cross International, Club of Rome member
“Christianity is our foe. If animal rights is to succeed, we must destroy Judeo-Christian Religious tradition.” – Peter Singer, professor of bioethics at Princeton University’ https://prophecyinvestigators.org/gaia-worship-gaining-momentum-globally/
The Club of Rome believes that their report The Limits to Growth forty years ago “…alerted the world to the environmental and demographic challenges ahead. Today, we see that decades of exponential growth in both population and consumption are now colliding with the limits of Earths biosphere. Emergency action is more necessary than ever. We cannot turn a blind eye to the dual tipping points of species extinction and climate change”, said Anders Wijkman, Honorary President of the Club of Rome.’ https://www.clubofrome.org/project/the-club-of-rome-climate-emergency-plan/
As those in The Club of Rome see it the real problems facing us are ‘Climate change and environmental destruction; the crisis of the European Union and the rise of right-wing populism; concentration of wealth and casualization, tax evasion and youth unemployment’. https://www.exploring-economics.org/en/summer-academy-10-years-after Note the right-wing populism! Their goal is to take all your freedoms away.
Then there are those ‘Guided by a philosophy of deep ecology, Earth First! does not accept a human-centered worldview of “nature for people’s sake.” Instead, we believe that life exists for its own sake, that industrial civilization and its philosophy are anti-Earth, anti-woman and anti-liberty. Our structure is non-hierarchical, and we reject highly paid “professional staff” and formal leadership.
To put it simply, the Earth must come first.’ https://earthfirstjournal.org/about/
Murdering the unborn is another form of worship when the Creator is left out. Planned Parenthood is known for its so-called ‘family planning’ which is nothing but the murder of the unborn or also known as abortion. However, climate change also entails ‘family planning – stabilising the world’s population.’ Page 13 https://www.stockholmresilience.org/download/18.51d83659166367a9a16353/1539675518425/Report_Achieving%20the%20Sustainable%20Development%20Goals_WEB.pdf
There is also the usurping of male leadership for female leadership. Page

There is much much more that could be said but this will suffice to show that the world is at war against its Creator. This war with God has led mankind to ‘worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk’ which eventually leads ‘the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars’ in taking ‘their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death’ Revelation 21:8.
The answer is ‘repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ’ Acts 20:21.
Genesis 8:22 “While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.”
‘Our sun, though remarkably stable as stars go, follows an eleven‑year cycle of activity. Every eleven years the sun’s surface is torn by solar storms. These storms can send a hot blast of particles at the earth at a million miles per hour. When they hit the Earth, these particles can disrupt radio communications and electrical systems. During this peak, the sun’s magnetic field is at its strongest.
Five and one-half years later, the sun is relatively quiet. During this quiet period, the sun’s magnetic field is at its weakest. As a result, the sun’s atmosphere develops leaky holes. These openings, called coronal holes, eject protons and electrons into space at two million miles per hour. Now two climatologists have collected data that indicate that during this quiet period, the sun may actively cool the Earth. They studied 20 years of temperature data from weather satellites and found that the Earth’s temperature average was lowest when the sun had the most and largest coronal holes. In 1995, the sun’s surface was covered with coronal holes and the Earth’s lower atmosphere averaged two degrees cooler than when the sun was most active. They theorized that some of the particles ejected from the sun enter the atmosphere and serve as nuclei for water droplets, increasing cloud formation and cooling the lower atmosphere.
While we have much to learn about the sun, we can thank a loving Creator for giving us a uniquely stable sun that supports life.’ https://www.creationmoments.com/sermons/can-the-sun-cool-the-earth-3/?mc_cid=7238969cad&mc_eid=00c1dcff3c
The other day THE LAND carried an article by the Very Reverend Dr Peter Catt. Here it is in a very abbreviated form.
‘When it comes to climate change, religious leaders of all faiths are increasingly of one mind.’
‘Now, a multi-faith campaign to stop new coal mining, run by the Australian Religious Response to Climate Change (ARRCC) is gathering momentum. It includes Indigenous, Buddhist, Islamic, Jewish and Christian leaders from all around Australia. They are speaking with one voice about taking urgent, emergency action on climate change. This is much more than a political or even a scientific issue. It is a profoundly moral one.
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) says global coal use must drop by at least 59 per cent in the next 12 years if we are to avoid catastrophe.’ https://www.theland.com.au/story/5789102/climate-change-is-indeed-a-moral-problem/?src=rss&utm_email=1ec342a17f&utm_source=The+Land+Newsletters&utm_campaign=e9286c4b32-newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_ade9099b1a-e9286c4b32-1145686
Is Climate Change a religion? It would seem that it is. Knowing there would be false gospels Paul said even if ‘…an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.’
It was a surprise to read the good Reverend saying “When it comes to climate change, religious leaders of all faiths are increasingly of one mind.” Wow! He assuredly cannot say that concerning the Christian faith of which he claims to be a practitioner of.
The Australian Religious Response to Climate Change (ARRCC) was something new to these ears but with a little search, it’s Internet presence was found https://www.progressivechristians.org.au/. At their website, they have a page where they may be contacted. This I did by quoting Genesis 8:22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
ARRCC’s chair replied:
‘Dear David
I received your message via the contact system, thank you. Genesis 8: 22 is reassuring. I agree that the earth will remain, but ARRCC is quite concerned that humanity’s greed and carelessness means we may be facing the end of times for our own species and we will take many other species with us. It’s happening already. There are plenty of other readings which align with the experience of waters rising, species extinctions, more wild fires, etc and these are linked in the Bible to human sin.
Hosea 4:3 …’Therefore shall the land mourn, and every one that dwelleth therein shall languish, with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven; yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away.’
Luke 21:25-26 …’and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.’
Our hope is in the many millions of people around the world who want to prevent environmental destruction from happening or who, as believers, also want to restore God’s rule on earth. We do our best to be among those people. Want to be among those who are trying to save humanity from itself?
Kind regards’
My Reply:
So far no reply but from my perspective, these religious folk at the ARRCC are similar to those to whom the Lord spoke in Mattew 23:27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness.
Those at the ARRCC and their so-called concern for the environment hit a chord with many in today’s society but their singing is off key as far as the Word of God is concerned. Those who know the Lord as personal Saviour are ‘…to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.’
However, ‘…the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness…’ After reading much of what is contained on the ARRCC website those associated with ARRCC seem to be an embodiment of that last verse!
The lunacy of the climate change folk would be laughable if it was not so scary. These worshipers of Mother Earth are determined to take Western civilization back two hundred years. Who knows if they will be content then!
‘Modern society depends on always available power. If power goes down then society stops. There are no phones, no internet, no ATMs, no refrigeration, no sewage pumps – nothing, and if a large city like London is without power for more than 12 hours rioting and looting would quickly take hold. It is therefore inconceivable not to ensure that we have reliable energy at all times. So an energy plan for the UK must be able to meet demand even on the coldest evening of the year in winter with no wind and no solar. For this reason, Renewable energy can never under any realistic scenario meet that target. To imagine that battery prices could fall enough to make wind and solar backup such enormous power demands is simply a delusion.
Renewables are very low density and for significant energy supply require vast areas of
land. Solar energy is unsuitable for the UK because during winter output is 9 times lower than summer. Since we have to find a reliable zero-carbon solution for the winter, it makes no sense to switch it off in the summer just because we like renewables.’ http://clivebest.com/blog/?p=7120

Perhaps a better title would be ‘Bill Nye, the Nut Guy’! With guys like Nye given so much public exposure, it is no wonder society is whacko.
‘Bill Nye “the Science Guy,” once the beloved figure of the popular PBS children’s show, fundraised and gave a talk for Planned Parenthood of South Texas Tuesday in which he renewed calls for population control in response to climate change.
Nye, whose actual, scientific credentials consist of a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, focused on climate change in his talk and reportedly discussed“evidence that explosive population growth is a major factor driving it.”
He also praised the nation’s largest abortion provider for efforts to raise the quality of life for women and emphasized that this was one way to address climate change, saying this would lead to “fewer kids.”
“What’s the one thing to do about climate change, if you want to think about the big picture? Raise the standard of living of girls and women,” he said, explaining, “when you raise the standard of living of girls and women, they have fewer kids, and the kids they have are better cared for.”’ https://townhall.com/tipsheet/laurettabrown/2018/05/09/bill-nye-the-abortion-guy-headlines-planned-parenthood-lunch-talks-population-control-n2479104

In spite of what God has said in Genesis, ‘More than 50 religious leaders from across Australia have called on Gautam Adani, chairman and founder of the Adani Group, to abandon plans to build a new coal mine in Northern Queensland. In an open letter delivered on 18 April to representatives of the Adani Group at their Townsville office, the coalition of Christian ministers – including Anglicans Bishop Philip Huggins of the Diocese of Melbourne and Dean of Brisbane’s Cathedral Dr Peter Catt – Rabbis, Imams, Buddhists and Religious Sisters said they oppose all new coal mining in Queensland’s Galilee Basin. The faith leaders argued that the environmental impact of a new mine would be “too great”, while the economic rationale was “grasping at short-term profits from a thermal coal industry in worldwide structural decline” and could not provide the long-term jobs the region needs. Instead, they urged Mr Adani to invest his company’s wealth into renewable energies.
“We are at a crossroads,” the letter reads. “One way lies destruction; the other way, sanity. We need to turn immediately in the direction of a stable and compassionate future based on ambitious investment in renewable energy. Our love and concern for the wellbeing of people, other forms of life and our planet leaves us convinced that building this mine would be a giant leap in a very dangerous direction. We therefore call on you to abandon it and to work instead with state and federal governments to invest in good local jobs in solar and wind. You have the capacity to do enormous good.”
The letter was organised by the multi-faith environmental group Australian Religious

Response to Climate Change (ARRCC). ARRCC board member Rabbi Jonathan Keren-Black, who was in Townsville for the letter’s delivery, said Mr Adani’s choice should be clear: “Dollar for dollar, renewables provide a lot more jobs than coal. The figures are very clear. Investment in renewables could provide all sorts of jobs, from fabrication to installation, operation and maintenance jobs as well as research, education and training. Mr Adani can do so much good, and right now he’s at a crossroads.
“There is so little time left to act on climate change and so much carbon dioxide that would be emitted if mining went ahead in the Galilee Basin,” Mr Keren-Black said. “This needs to stop being treated as a political issue and be recognised for what it is – simply a moral issue.”’ http://www.anglicannews.org/news/2018/04/faith-leaders-unite-to-oppose-plans-for-new-coal-mine-in-northern-queensland.aspx
MORAL ISSUE! As thousands of babies are murdered each year here in Australia through abortion these “religious” folk protest coal!? Sadly, this “religious” crowd is more concerned with preaching the false message of Climate Change than the precious soul-saving Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. 2Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears
‘An American actor spoke to the World Government Summit in Dubai this weekend. The Associated Pressreports:
Hollywood star Robert De Niro took aim at the Trump administration’s stance on climate change, telling a packed audience in the Middle East that he was visiting from a “backward” country suffering from “temporary insanity.”
I am talking about my own country, the United States of America. We don’t like to say we are a ‘backward’ country so let’s just say we are suffering from a case of temporary insanity.
I would be confident in saying that De Niro doesn’t know what he’s talking about. I suspect “backward countries” to him include people who believe the Bible. It is an ignorant view to say the world is threatened by climate change. Scripture is verified as true and it says the world will end by direct divine intervention. God started everything and He will end everything.
The Bible speaks again and again about the end. The planet won’t survive, because God did not design it to be permanent. It has a built-in stopping point that doesn’t relate at all to fossil fuels and carbon dioxide. Man offends God and He puts up with the offense only so long.
The earth isn’t stable because of anything that man has done. The world is stable because of what God does. The prophet Haggai brings a message from God to Zerubbabel to end his prophecy in Haggai 2:21-22:
I will shake the heavens and the earth; And I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms, and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the heathen; and I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his brother.
He delivered this to say that Zerubbabel needed to trust God and go ahead and return Israel back to the worship God intended. He should not have considered man to be a threat to his work. You can read the same types of accounts in several other places in the Old Testament about the future of the earth according to God.
2 Samuel 22:8, “Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations of heaven moved and shook, because he was wroth.”
Psalm 68:8, “The earth shook, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God: even Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel.”
Isaiah 13:13, “Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.”
Isaiah 29:6, “Thou shalt be visited of the LORD of hosts with thunder, and with earthquake, and great noise, with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire.”
Jeremiah 10:10, “But the LORD is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.”
Ezekiel 38:20, “So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.”
Joel 2:10, “The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.”
Joel 3:16, “The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.”
Nahum 1:5, “The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein.”
Haggai 2:6-7, “For thus saith the LORD of hosts;; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts.”
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

Al and others who made these predictions undoubtedly do not believe Genesis 8:22 ‘While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.’ As for me, I believe God!
