‘ENCOUNTERS WITH SCIENCE EDUCATORS reported by our Tasmanian Rep, Craig Hawkins MSc, who writes: While serving at the counter of our tourism business recently I was challenged by a Victorian high school science teacher who had seen creation materials in our gift shop, as to why a place like ours would be associated with such a thing like creationism. I politely responded that as the owner I believed it was a much better explanation of the origins of the universe than the religion of evolution. Well, that was enough to almost witness spontaneous combustion. I briefly, casually explained how there is a complete lack of observable, measurable and repeatable evidence in all the major steps required by evolution, including the Big Bang, life arising from non-living chemicals, and the need for increasing genetic complexity to evolve from amoebas to man. This science teacher, who teaches Aussie children that evolution is a fact, was unable to counter these basic facts and line of argument. In order to try and disregard the line of logic that I had used she resorted, in front of other customers, to argue that it can be theoretically shown that 1 plus 1 does not equal 2, and therefore you cannot always believe what otherwise appears obvious. Worldview suitably challenged; the poor teacher then stormed out. The next customer, a very typical Aussie, came up to the counter and said: ‘Sorry mate but I couldn’t help overhearing all that. As a butcher for many years I can say that if I added 1 kilo of sausages to another kilo of sausages I always ended up with 2 kilos!’
The butcher’s profound summary of the need for real facts properly used and interpreted, was eminently more sensible than vague claims by a science-graduated teacher as to the authority of secular, humanistic “science” over the obvious intricacy of design in creation.
Later that same evening, I was reminded how we achieve science teachers with such narrow understandings of evidence, whilst reviewing my eldest son’s first week science lectures at Southern Cross University. After using all the typical evidences for evolution, including known frauds such as gill slits in human embryos and faked whale transitional fossils such as Rhodhocetus along with Darwin’s theory of natural selection, comparative anatomy, the fossil record, rock strata etc. the professor said: ‘If you look at the body of evidence for evolution and natural selection as an idea, but as a theory [sic] it’s almost unbelievable that people still argue that creationism is an alternative.’ (Prof. Renaud Joannes-Boyan, Assoc. Professor of Science SCU, Organisms and Environments, Online lecture 8/3/21)
It is important we note that 1) the lecturer used many examples of “evidence” that has been soundly refuted by both non-creationists and creationists over many years, and 2) that science lecturers such as this, all over the country are not only telling young science hopefuls what to think regarding the origins of life but are also basically saying you are an idiot if you believe anything else. Undergraduates face a very daunting situation in daring to question such professors. A young Christian must be very careful in how they phrase their essays or ask questions challenging evolutionary assumptions. It is easy to see how dissent and alternative opinions are crushed at the very outset.
So speaking as someone who has a Master’s degree in Science, I encourage young Christians to take up science degrees at University because evolution is irrelevant to most of the great science you can do, but you will have to put up with the religion of evolution as you do. To succeed, despite the evolutionary brainwashing, keep your eyes on the true Creator Jesus Christ, who will actually strengthen your capacity to “demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God and take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ”. (2 Corinthians 10:5).’ An email from https://creationresearch.net/

Acts 20:29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.
The other day I ran the article SBC DISFELLOWSHIPS 4 TENNESSEE CHURCHES. One of those churches booted out of the SBC had as its Pastor since 2014 a man who had earlier pled guilty and was convicted of statutory rape. Below is from https://www.casemine.com/judgement/us/5914bba0add7b04934797a7b which details some of the charges. This was a married man of 31 and pastoring a Baptist church! It is disgusting to read NOT only what this man did to a girl of 16 but that he was called to pastor another Southern Baptist Church JUST DOWN THE ROAD after his conviction! This brings up the fact that (1) this man is probably not born again and fits what Paul speaks about in Titus 1:16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.!
Secondly, there is the matter that the church that called him after committing and being convicted of this SIN in a court of law called this man to be their supposed Shepherd is a partaker of his evil deeds. Again, let it be said that the church which this man pastored at the time of his crime was ONLY SIX MILES FROM THE Antioch Baptist CHURCH THAT LATER CALLED HIM TO BE THEIR PASTOR! Didn’t those at Antioch Baptist call the other church for a reference or read the papers or listen to the radio or watch the news on television to be aware of this man’s sin!? Are those at Antioch Baptist unsaved as well! This man was disqualified from being a pastor!! The church at Corinth had sin in its midst and Paul wrote to that church saying the sin they were allowing was not so much as named among the Gentiles or we could say it this way, even the unsaved didn’t allow that sin.
Read what is circled below and I am sure your reaction will be, or should be, one of disgust, anger and questioning whether those in these two churches know the Lord Jesus as their Saviour. Perhaps we need to be reminded of 1Peter 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

The China virus has been used by the West to move all of us closer to communism. Communism has always been anti-God and therefore against those who profess to be followers of the Lord Jesus Christ and called Christians. What the CCP does every day Canada is now doing to Canadian churches and Christians.
The Rebel reporter went to ‘Alberta’s favourite baptist church this weekend — Fairview Baptist Church — to see firsthand how the police, public health and bylaw officials would handle the church’s continued defiance of capacity restrictions.
It was a good news/bad news situation this weekend. Let’s start first with the good news.
Unlike previous weeks, the government officials stayed out of the church, unlike the past two weeks where they treated the church like a crime scene, taking pictures of the congregants inside during services.
The bad news, however, is that the church’s pastor, Tim Stephens, has received three summonses from the government for various infractions for contravening the COVID-19 restrictions.
Pastor Stephens vowed that his congregation is going to continue to gather in worship, so this story is not over yet as it remains to be seen whether the government will up the ante on enforcement against Fairview.’https://www.rebelnews.com/fairview_baptist_pastor_given_three_tickets_for_breaching_covid_rules?utm_campaign=rb_3_16_21&utm_medium=email&utm_source=therebel
2Timothy 2:22 Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
Sadly, the following is not unique within the SBC only but something is terribly wrong that these things continue to occur! As the Lord Jesus said several times ‘have ye not read’ seems to apply to the following churches!
‘A Southern Baptist Convention church affiliated with the Tennessee Baptist Convention and the Sevier County Association of Baptists is one of four churches that have been disfellowshipped by the SBC Executive Committee.
Antioch Baptist Church in Sevierville was dropped for employing a pastor who confessed to two counts of statutory rape. Also disfellowshiped for affirming homosexuality were Towne View Baptist Church in Kennesaw, Ga., and St. Matthews Baptist Church, Louisville, Ky. West Side Baptist Church in Sharpsville, Pa., was disfellowshiped for employing as its pastor a registered sex offender.
The EC decisions came during an executive session following the recommendations of the SBC Credentials Committee. The decisions were announced in a plenary session at the close of its two-day meeting in Nashville on Feb. 23.
Following the SBC action, Pastor Randy Leming Jr., of Antioch Baptist Church, Sevierville, since 2014, announced his resignation on Sunday, Feb. 28. Leming declined to provide a statement to the Baptist and Reflector.
Leming pleaded guilty in 1998 to two counts of statutory rape of a minor when he served as pastor of Shiloh Baptist Church in Sevier County. The offenses occurred in May and June of 1994, when he was 31. He lost his appeal of the concurrent 18-month sentences he deemed harsh. (‘According to a 1998 decision in a Tennessee appeals court, Leming was 31 and a pastor at Shiloh Baptist Church in Sevier County in 1994 when he performed oral sex on a 16-year-old victim on two occasions. Shiloh Baptist is within six miles of the Antioch church.’ https://julieroys.com/abuser-resigns-pastor-church-ousted-southern-baptist/?mc_cid=fb1c3d299d&mc_eid=b13d34ad49)
The SBC repurposed the Credentials Committee in 2019 to make inquiries and recommendations for action regarding instances of sexual abuse, racism or other issues that call into question a church’s relationship with the SBC.
“We take no pleasure in recommending that a church is not in friendly cooperation with the convention,” Credentials Committee chairman Mike Lawson told Baptist Press. “We would like nothing more than for all our churches to be in harmony on such vital issues. But when the available information shows clearly that we are not, it is necessary to take action.
“We are grieved, but we believe it was the right decision to recommend and will continue to pray for all involved,” Lawson said.
The Tennessee Baptist Mission Board was not informed of the SBC’s decision to disfellowship Antioch Baptist Church until after the decision was reported by The Tennessean on Feb. 23, according to Randy C. Davis, president and executive director of the TBMB.
“Now that this has been brought to our attention, we will begin the process to better understand the circumstances surrounding Antioch Baptist Church’s situation,” Davis said. “The SBC Executive Committee had a full year to work through its process and to better understand the situation. It is important that Tennessee Baptists also understand the complexities.”’https://baptistandreflector.org/sevierville-pastor-resigns-after-sbc-disfellowships-church/?mc_cid=fb1c3d299d&mc_eid=b13d34ad49
THIS JUST HAPPENED WITHOUT A DESIGNER?
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God
Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
‘If you want to identify the variety of tree in a garden, one of the most uncomplicated ways is to identify the fruit it grows. Ancient wisdom instructs if you observe the fruit you’ll know the root.
I’ve never bought into the BLM political movement con, because the fruit was immediately obvious to anyone with an inclination to discern things beneath the surface. Rather than noble pursuits of justice, the very name sets up divisions between people: black and everyone else. If it were just a statement of the obvious – of course “black lives matters” (to which most people initially responded “duh”) – it would be just a euphemistic, short-sighted name.
However the observable fruit of the political organisation is not just racial division, but seething hatred and boiling rage, lawless violence, destruction of property and wanton murder. BLM turns cities which nurture its philosophies into war zones where the poorest of people are most hurt by the devastation wreaked by the anarchy.
There’s much more well-documented evidence of the anti-Christian, anti-family, anti-freedom social destructiveness of BLM, citing BLM itself as primary sources. But what’s recently been revealed is just how demonic they admit to being.
The leaders of BLM are calling on the spirits of the dead, claim to receive power from them and talk with these spirits by name. This is now an open secret.’ https://goodsauce.news/blm-calling-on-the-dead-spiritism-is-now-an-open-secret/
‘MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell is planning to start his own social media company after being banned by Twitter for questioning the integrity of the 2020 election.
While appearing on Charlie Kirk’s podcast, Lindell revealed his plans to start a new social media website, who told Kirk, “We’re launching this big platform so all the voices of our country can come back and start telling it like it is again.”
“You will not need YouTube,” said Lindell. “You won’t need these places. So it will be where everything can be told, because we’ve got to get our voices back.” Lindell added that the website will be pro-free speech, adding, “People will be able to talk and not walk on eggshells.”
Lindell seems to have hinted that the website will incorporate both live and recorded video, text posts, and other features commonly associated with Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube, the big three social media sites that, until recently, have dominated the market without real competition.
“Every single influencer person on the planet can come there. You’re going to have a platform to speak out,” said the MyPillow CEO, then adding, “It’s not just like a little Twitter platform.”’https://nationalfile.com/mypillow-guy-mike-lindell-is-starting-his-own-social-media-site/
“But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.” (Mark 13:32)
‘This verse has always been difficult to understand. If Jesus was God, how could He be ignorant of the time of His second coming? Indeed He was, and is, God, but He also was, and is, man. This is a part of the mystery of the divine/human nature of Christ. In the gospel record, we see frequent evidences of His humanity (He grew weary, for example, and suffered pain), but also many evidences of deity (His virgin birth, His resurrection and ascension, as well as His perfect words and deeds).
He had been in glory with the Father from eternity (John 17:24), but when He became man, “in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren” (Hebrews 2:17), except for sin. As a child, He “increased in wisdom and stature” like any other human (Luke 2:52). Through diligent study (as a man), He acquired great wisdom in the Scriptures and the plan of God. After His baptism and the acknowledgment from heaven of His divine Sonship (e.g., Matthew 3:16-17), He increasingly manifested various aspects of His deity, but He still remained fully human.
With respect to the time of the end, this depends in some degree on human activity. For example, He said that “the gospel must first be published among all nations” (Mark 13:10), and only God the Father could foresee just when men will have accomplished this. Although the glorified Son presumably now shares this knowledge, in His self-imposed human limitations He did not.
In no way does this compromise His deity. In our own finite humanity, we cannot comprehend fully the mystery of the divine/human nature of Christ, but He has given us more than sufficient reason to believe His Word!’https://www.icr.org/article/12648/?utm_source=phplist9294&utm_medium=email&utm_content=HTML&utm_campaign=March+12+-+The+Limited+Knowledge+of+Jesus
