‘A Liberal candidates’ Federal Election campaign posters and vehicle were vandalised overnight in what has been described as a “personal” and “nasty” attack.
Graphic and sexist language was scribbled across the advertising material belonging to Zoe McKenzie, who is contesting for the Victorian seat of Flinders.
One or more perpetrators used black spray paint and wrote offensive phrases such as “liar”, “grub”, “f**k you”, and “grubby c***” on corflutes in the electorate.
A swastika was also drawn across her forehead on at least one of the posters.
Ms McKenzie’s team shared a video of her trashed campaign vehicle to her official Facebook profile which showed sexist language written on all sides of the car.
Treasurer Josh Frydenberg said it was “utterly disgraceful and unacceptable”.
“The vandalism and language are shocking. We expect in our democracy to be able to debate the issues in fair and a balanced way,” he wrote in response to the clip.
A spokesman for Ms McKenzie said the signs have been targeted and defaced across the electorate since February.
“With our campaign car being defaced overnight with the most vile language, it is now clear that there is an orchestrated campaign which goes well beyond vandalism and now includes damage to property and threatening attacks,” they said in a statement.
“It is personal, nasty and does not reflect the Peninsula community we all know and love.
“Our party and independent opponents say they want to see more women in Parliament and when they get a strong female candidate, this happens.”
SkyNews.com.au was also provided with a photograph of another Victorian Liberal candidate whose poster was defaced.
Liberal contender for the seat of Dunkley and former Survivor Australia contestant, Sharn Coombes, had her eyes scribbled out and the swastika symbol drawn across her forehead.
Dr Dvir Abramovich, Chairman of the Anti-Defamation Commission, described the rise in the use of the symbol, once used by Nazis, as “troubling” and condemned the actions.
“This is a hate crime, pure and simply and the escalating virus of Neo-Nazi vandalism has that is spreading like wildfire has to stop,” he said in a statement.
“We deplore these ugly actions for what they are: a direct assault on our democracy and our share ideals.”
He added it was an “insult” to the memory of brave Australian soldiers who sacrificed their lives in World War II when it fought Nazis.
‘New South Wales leader of One Nation Mark Latham ended up in a shouting match with the Liberal Premier after Dominic Perrottet refused to support Latham’s Bill to ban teachers discussing gender identity in schools and disclosing children questioning their gender to parents.
“How can you possibly keep parents in the dark?” shouted Latham, at Perrottet. “This is one of the worst things I’ve seen in public life.”
Latham, who has been campaigning to protect children from what he calls ‘Woke’ ideology inside schools, has put forward a Bill to ensure that parents maintain control and oversight regarding gender-discussions inside the school environment.
Crucially, this Bill includes ensuring that parents are informed if their child starts talking about gender transition with teachers – rather than teachers having the option to withhold these conversations from parents. It forms part of a larger debate to restore parental supremacy when it comes to raising children.
“Every issue is urgent, in a way,” said the Premier, when put under questioning about when the gender-issue would be addressed, to which Latham replied that this particular issue in schools is a ‘family destroyer’.
The pair then erupted into a confrontation that had to be brought to order, with Perrottet agreeing, somewhat reluctantly, that parents should be informed on a case-by-case basis rather than as a matter of course.
“From a sentiment perspective, I agree that parents should be informed and provided advice in relation to their children at all times,” said Perrottet.
“This is the truth,” replied Latham, “that you and your Woke cabinet won’t support the thing that you talk about. You’re captive to these people.”
This may be a reference to Liberal members such as New South Wales Treasurer Matt Kean, who this week called for Liberal candidate Katherine Deves to be disendorsed for her activism supporting women’s sports and young girls against radical transgender ideology that sees them sidelined in their gender-specific spaces. Kean is part of the ‘moderate’ faction who campaign on climate change and other progressive policies at odds with traditional Blue Ribbon conservatives. It is understood that the factional power within the New South Wales Liberal Party sits with Kean’s faction.
“No one’s ever called me ‘woke’ in my life, you’re more woke than me,” rebutted Perrottet.
In Tweets released by Mark Latham following the exchange, it appears the pair are getting closer to a solution.
‘Perrottet asked me why I was upset. Because I’ve been trying to help mothers distraught at schools keeping them in the dark about their children, watching their family disintegrate as a result. My question was: Why isn’t Perrottet upset about this?’
‘Some progress with Perrottet at Estimates. He’s now looking at a ban on gender fluidity teaching in NSW schools. He seemed shocked at the class run for Year 2 students at Umina Beach Public School describing gender as “how you feel on the inside” that “changes over time”.‘https://www.rebelnews.com/woke_gender_policy_in_nsw_schools_slammed_as_a_family_destroyer?
In the Land Down Under WOKE ‘Independent Warringah MP Zali Steggall has called out a conservative activist group over its latest transgender billboard plastered across its fleet of trucks.
An Advance Australia vehicle was spotted over the weekend with a large caption on it reading, “Women’s sport is not for men”, with a photo of Ms Steggall holding a microphone and a speech bubble saying, “That’s transphobic”.
What will our society be like in ten or twenty years if the following becomes the norm?
In Australia’s north ‘Progressive guidelines set to be introduced across Northern Territory schools will encourage teachers not refer to students as “boys and girls” under a plan designed to boost inclusion.
Key changes were outlined in a leaked draft of the NT education department’s Diverse sex, sexuality and gender identity in schools guidelines published by Sky News on Tuesday.
The document contained recommendations for staff to avoid using gendered language like “boys and girls” and “ladies and gentlemen” as it “can be alienating for gender-questioning and gender-diverse children”, according to the publication.
“Avoid this by using vocabulary such as ‘students’, ‘class’, ‘crew’, ‘everyone’, people’ or ‘year X’ that are more inclusive,” the draft read.
Schools would also be encouraged not to separate children based on their gender for sport days in a tactic hoped to reduce the withdrawal of transgender and gender-diverse children from sport.
It was recommended that schools instead establish non-gendered teams and sporting activities.
This story is soooo whatever that it doesn’t make sense. Here’s a woman who is triple vaxxed against Covid but she catches Covid and is barely capable of continuing her life as she once knw it. HOWEVER, the answer to the problem is in the last sentence in this blog and that is “Vaccination is the best way to reduce the risks of Covid-19“. Yeah, I will hurry down and get my jab!
‘Australian journalist Tracey Spicer has been struck down with long Covid that has left her feeling a like “a shadow of her former self”.
The 55-year-old triple-jabbed broadcaster and author caught the virus in January on a holiday to the Gold Coast.
The illness left her bedridden for two weeks. But while she has recovered from some symptoms, such as a severe cough, she remains so sick she can barely work — more than three months after catching the virus.
She told Nine News she is suffering from debilitating fatigue and chest pains that have landed her in hospital, fearing she was having a heart attack.
“I’ve felt like a shadow of my former self. I’ve been swimming through mud every day,” she said. “Even cooking a meal can be absolutely crushing. I can hardly walk around the block.
“I’ve had the debilitating exhaustion, and I also had a very worrying four weeks where I was in and out of hospital with chest pain, I thought I was having a heart attack.”
Spicer is well-known for her work with sexual assault survivors — which had an enormous public impact and led to several investigations.
She said she wants to see Australia step up its response to long Covid.’
