Having never heard of the Nexdoor app before and after seeing this video pretty much deems that I will probably never get it. Anyway, how WOKE can these companies get? I’m sure we haven’t seen the ultimate in wokeness yet!

What and who next?
What should be the goal of an educator? ‘The story of Buffalo Public Schools is a sad and familiar one: a dying industrial town, underperforming inner-city schools, and high rates of failure among racial minorities. Instead of focusing on improving academic achievement, however, Buffalo school administrators have adopted fashionable new pedagogies: “culturally responsive teaching,” “pedagogy of liberation,” “equity-based instructional strategies,” and an “emancipatory curriculum.”
Buffalo Public Schools diversity czar Fatima Morrell, architect of the district’s pedagogical revolution, summarizes these dense phrases in a single word: “woke.” Last year, in her role as director of the Office of Culturally and Linguistically Responsive Initiatives, Morrell created a new curriculum promoting Black Lives Matter in the classroom and an “antiracist” training program for teachers. According to one veteran teacher, who requested anonymity, Morrell’s training programs have pushed “radical politics” and, in practice, become a series of “scoldings, guilt-trips, and demands to demean oneself simply to make another feel ‘empowered.’” Teachers must submit to these “manipulative mind games” and express support for Morrell’s left-wing politics, or risk professional retaliation.
During one all-hands training session, the details of which I have obtained through a whistleblower, Morrell claimed that America “is built on racism” and that all Americans are guilty of “implicit racial bias.” She argued that “America’s sickness” leads some whites to believe that blacks are “not human,” which makes it “easier to shoot someone in the back seven times if you feel like it.” Morrell, who earned her Ed.D. from the University of Buffalo, said that the solution is to “be woke, which is basically critically conscious,” citing a pedagogical concept developed by Marxist theoretician Paolo Freire holding that students must be trained to identify and eventually overthrow their oppressors. After Morrell’s presentation, one teacher reaffirmed this political imperative, declaring that students must become “activists for antiracism” and public school teachers should begin “preparing them at four years old.”
Last year, as Fox News has reported, Morrell designed a curriculum requiring schools to teach the “Black Lives Matter principles,” including “dismantling cisgender privilege,” creating “queer-affirming network[s] where heteronormative thinking no longer exists,” and accelerating “the disruption of Western nuclear family dynamics.” The lesson plans, which I have obtained from the district, are even more divisive. In kindergarten, teachers ask students to compare their skin color with an arrangement of crayons and watch a video that dramatizes dead black children speaking to them from beyond the grave about the dangers of being killed by “racist police and state-sanctioned violence.” By fifth grade, students are taught that America has created a “school-to-grave pipeline” for black children and that, as adults, “one million Black people are locked in cages.”
In middle and high school, schools must teach about “systemic racism,” instructing students that American society was designed for the “impoverishment of people of color and enrichment of white people,” that the United States “created a social system that had racist economic inequality built into its foundation,” and that “the [current] wealth gap is the result of black slavery, which created unjust wealth for white people,” who are “unfairly rich.” Students then learn that “all white people play a part in perpetuating systemic racism” and that “often unconsciously, white elites work to perpetuate racism through politics, law, education, and the media.”
In later grades, the curriculum proposes a solution to these problems. In a lesson on “confronting whiteness in our classrooms,” teachers ask white students to atone for their “white privilege” and to “use their voices” for the cause of antiracism. In another lesson, students learn the putative difference between white European and traditional African systems of justice. According to the lesson plans, whites have created a “retributive,” “merit-based” justice system, which relies on harsh punishment and creates inequalities; traditional Africans, on the other hand, relied on a “restorative,” “needs-based” justice system focused on healing, giving to each according to his need, and prioritizing “collective value” over individual rights.
The new training sessions and curriculum are unlikely to lead to better student academic outcomes. Buffalo Public Schools have been an abject failure: by fifth grade, only 18 percent of students are proficient in math and 20 percent of students are proficient in English; one-third of all students fail to graduate from high school. The numbers are even worse for African-Americans, who constitute 45 percent of the student population. And according to the veteran teacher, despite the new “antiracism” programming, the district’s poor response to the pandemic has accelerated racial inequalities, with virtual attendance rates as low as 30 percent in some classrooms.
Antiracist ideologues claim to have the solution to America’s deepest problems, but in institutions such as Buffalo Public Schools, they have failed to ensure that students reach minimum levels of literacy. If they cannot teach the basics of reading, writing, and arithmetic, how can we trust them to reshape society?’https://www.city-journal.org/buffalo-public-schools-critical-race-theory-curriculum
What is going on with these corporations that think they MUST become PC to reach their customers!? Coke is such a corporation that has gone stark raving mad with this PC stuff that it is now striving to convert its white employees into anti-racist employees even if that employee did not know they were racist!
‘In February of 2021, it leaked that Coca-Cola encouraged its employees to attend an anti-racism seminar led by the honorable Robin DiAngelo. Coca-Cola insists that the training wasn’t mandatory, but still, it’s pretty awful.’ Here is some of that teaching;
‘“To be less white is to:
- be less oppressive
- be less arrogant
- be less certain
- be less defensive
- be less ignorant
- be more humble
- listen
- believe
- break with apathy
- break with white solidarity”‘https://genzconservative.com/coca-cola-racist-anti-racism/
Note above that this teaching was taught by Robin DiAngelo. Who is she? According to Wikipedia ‘Robin Jeanne DiAngelo is an American author, consultant, and facilitator working in the fields of critical discourse analysis and whiteness studies.’ Can you imagine some one having a position where they teach WHITENESS!!!? All that can really be said here is to stop purchasing Coke and any related products produced by Coke. Perhaps this will WAKE up the ones in charge there at Coke out of their Wokeness!
According to Obummer the company that was too big to go broke will eventually go broke when you and I along with millions of other hapless commoners go broke. However, that aside, there is ‘Good news for the climate woke: General Motors has pledged to stop making gas-powered cars and trucks by 2035 and sell only zero-tail-pipe emission vehicles. At the rate GM has been declining over the years the first part sounds quite plausible. The New York Times is chuffed about the second, saying “The announcement is likely to put pressure on automakers around the world to make similar commitments.” Well, perhaps. Except that the company boasted in January 2020 that, at least domestically, “We’ve focused our resources on what our customers want – crossovers and trucks – and that has paid off”. So why pivot to cars the customers don’t want? Maybe the real plan is to lobby governments to step in and subsidize trendy green cars for the few who want them at the expense of the many who do not. In which case everybody loses, except the carmakers who cleverly replace sales in the market with subsidies from the state.
At the risk of seeming catty, we might observe that General Motors is, like the New York Times whose print circulation fell by half between 2005 and 2017, a once-mighty brand that is having trouble retaining customers in a changed world. For instance its Oldsmobile division, the oldest surviving American car marque by 2004, folded in that year because the world had passed it by and ad campaigns like “This is not your father’s Oldsmobile” became infamous how-not-to examples of wrecking a troubled brand. Like, we venture to caution, the legacy media ruthlessly excluding any notion that there are two sides to the climate debate at a time of plunging revenues and audiences turned off by substituting bias for opinion, let alone news, without self-awareness.
GM has been through bankruptcy once and seems to be recovering, and remains one of the world’s largest car companies including massive operations in China. But it has quality issues and despite its very woke approach to philanthropy and to hydrogen as well as flex-fuel cars including of course the Volt, it’s only one or two very bad bets away from being a museum piece like, um, Pontiac or Saturn, or a subsidy-dependent shell of its former self. And here we note that they have sold perhaps 200,000 Volts total, out of annual sales that were over 10 million in 2016 but already down to under 8 million by 2019.
Of course it’s always possible that they’ll make a ton of money on green cars and everyone else will rush to imitate them. Because the good thing about the announcement is that it’s about consumer choice. As it should be. Unless, as noted, it’s about getting your grill deep into the subsidy trough because you can’t make money the old-fashioned way.’ https://climatediscussionnexus.com/2021/02/03/not-your-fathers-oldsmobile/
‘We are religious, as religion is an inescapable concept and everybody is religious. Religions have their holy days (from which we get the word “holiday”), with Christianity having Christmas and Easter, Judaism Yom Kippur, Islam Ramadan, Hinduism Diwali, and so forth.
The relatively new religion of progressivism, which seeks to supplant and displace the previously dominant religion of Christianity, is in the process of establishing January 26, Australia Day, as the holiest day in its sacral calendar.
Progressivism borrows heavily from Christianity, which has been dominant in forming the West’s worldview over many centuries. But instead of seeking reconciliation with God, progressives seek above all social justice –- to set the captives free –– a concept with strong Christian roots. And instead of devotion to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, the Church of Woke devotes itself to fighting against the sins of Racism, Patriarchy and Heteronormativity.
In the same way that the concept of original sin is central to Christian doctrine, where to be Christian one must first acknowledge one’s own sin, progressive doctrine requires Australians to recognise and acknowledge that Australia is a racist country -– this in spite of Australia being a fair-go country with incidences of dictionary-definition (as opposed to expansive-definition) racism being rare and isolated.
Indeed, if what Woke teaching says about Australia were true, then we would have to wade through gushing rivers of blood every time we stepped outside, what with 50% of the population either born overseas or with at least one parent born overseas, and nearly 40% of the populations of Melbourne and Sydney born overseas. Naturally, by questioning such Woke dogma, I am, of course, committing a mortal sin risking eternal damnation, also known as being cancelled.
Australia Day, therefore, offers penitents the opportunity to acknowledge the country’s original sin of Racism and to ask for forgiveness. Similarly, International Women’s Day offers an opportunity for this same ritual, but this time in relation to the sin of Patriarchy; while the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras allows us to reject the grave sin of Heteronormativity by paying homage to an identity that has come to occupy a prominent place in the pantheon of Diversity.
Through these purging rituals, society undergoes a process of progressive sanctification, where, even as it recognises and struggles against its sins, society never quite frees itself of its sinful nature: the socialism is willing but the fascism is weak. Nevertheless, through a long march through the institutions, society can progressively mortify the fascism, until the final enemy, political incorrectness, is destroyed.
Therefore, siblings in Wokeness, let us come together in this annual ritual of self-flagellation that we mark on this national holy day, Australia Day.
And may Wokeism bless you and keep you in its care.
‘An elementary school in Cupertino, California—a Silicon Valley community with a median home price of $2.3 million—recently forced a class of third-graders to deconstruct their racial identities, then rank themselves according to their “power and privilege.”
Based on whistleblower documents and parents familiar with the session, a third-grade teacher at R.I. Meyerholz Elementary School began the lesson on “social identities” during a math class. The teacher asked all students to create an “identity map,” listing their race, class, gender, religion, family structure, and other characteristics. The teacher explained that the students live in a “dominant culture” of “white, middle class, cisgender, educated, able-bodied, Christian, English speaker[s],” who, according to the lesson, “created and maintained” this culture in order “to hold power and stay in power.”
Next, reading from This Book Is Antiracist, the students learned that “those with privilege have power over others” and that “folx who do not benefit from their social identities, who are in the subordinate culture, have little to no privilege and power.” As an example, the reading states that “a white, cisgender man, who is able-bodied, heterosexual, considered handsome and speaks English has more privilege than a Black transgender woman.” In some cases, because of the principle of intersectionality, “there are parts of us that hold some power and other parts that are oppressed,” even within a single individual.
Following this discussion, the teacher had the students deconstruct their own intersectional identities and “circle the identities that hold power and privilege” on their identity maps, ranking their traits according to the hierarchy. In a related assignment, the students were asked to write short essays describing which aspects of their identities “hold power and privilege” and which do not. The students were expected to produce “at least one full page of writing.” As an example, the presentation included a short paragraph about transgenderism and nonbinary sexuality.
The lesson caused an immediate uproar among Meyerholz Elementary parents. “We were shocked,” said one parent, who agreed to speak with me on condition of anonymity. “They were basically teaching racism to my eight-year-old.” This parent, who is Asian-American, rallied a group of a half dozen families to protest the school’s intersectionality curriculum. The group met with the school principal and demanded an end to the racially divisive instruction. After a tense meeting, the administration agreed to suspend the program. (When reached for comment, Jenn Lashier, the principal of Meyerholz Elementary, said that the training was not part of the “formal curricula, but the process of daily learning facilitated by a certified teacher.”)
The irony is that, despite being 94 percent nonwhite, Meyerholz Elementary is one of the most privileged schools in America. The median household income in Cupertino is $172,000, and nearly 80 percent of residents have a bachelor’s degree or higher. At the school, where the majority of families are Asian-American, the students have exceptionally high rates of academic achievement and the school consistently ranks in the top 1 percent of all elementary schools statewide. In short, nobody at Meyerholz is oppressed, and the school’s high-achieving parents know that teaching intersectionality instead of math is a waste of time—and potentially dangerous.
One parent told me that critical race theory was reminiscent of the Chinese Cultural Revolution. “[It divides society between] the oppressor and the oppressed, and since these identities are inborn characteristics people cannot change, the only way to change it is via violent revolution,” the parent said. “Growing up in China, I had learned it many times. The outcome is the family will be ripped apart; husband hates wife, children hate parents. I think it is already happening here.”
The small fight at Meyerholz reflects a larger development: for the first time, Asian-Americans on the West Coast have become politically mobilized. In 2019, Asian-Americans ran a successful initiative campaign against affirmative action in Washington State; in 2020, Asian-Americans ran a similar campaign in California, winning by an astonishing 57 percent to 43 percent margin. In both cases, they defended the principles of meritocracy, individual rights, and equality under the law—and roundly defeated a super-coalition of the states’ progressive politicians, activists, universities, media, and corporations.
The stakes are high for the Asian-American community. For progressives insisting on the narrative of “white supremacy” and “systemic racism,” Asian-Americans are the “inconvenient minority”: they significantly outperform all other racial groups, including whites, in terms of academic achievement, college admissions, household income, family stability, and other key measures. Affirmative action and other critical race theory-based programs would devastate their admissions to universities and harm their futures.
At Meyerholz Elementary, the Asian-American families are on high alert for critical race theory in the classroom. Since their initial victory, they have begun to consider campaigning against the school board. “We think some of our school board members are [critical race theory] activists and they must go,” said one parent. The capture of our public institutions by progressives obsessed by race and privilege deserves opposition at every level. The parents of Cupertino have joined the fight.’https://christopherrufo.com/woke-elementary/
Where will all of this stop?
‘Bryn Mawr College, a women’s liberal arts college in Pennsylvania, recently agreed to student activists’ demands that a “reparations fund” be created for black and indigenous students.
It was one of many demands issued by the Bryn Mawr Strike Collective, a student-led group that organized a racial justice strike on campus during the fall semester.
The students’ demand called for “the implementation of a ‘reparations fund’ towards a yearly allocation of funds and resources to Black and Indigenous students in the form of grants for summer programs, affinity groups, multicultural spaces, and individual expenses such as books, online courses, therapy, and any and all financial need beyond the scope of racial justice work.”
Bryn Mawr leaders agreed to this demand by renaming the Dean’s Emergency Fund to the Dean’s Student Assistance Fund, doubling its allocation to $10,000 annually, and appointing a committee that includes representation of black, indigenous, and people of color staff and faculty, to administer the fund.’https://www.thecollegefix.com/college-agrees-to-reparations-fund-to-help-pay-for-black-students-therapy-books/

The Pope is not only WOKE but leans so far left he is good friends with the CCP and others who favor a life of oppression for the masses but not for themselves as they are the elite! That’s why ‘Pope Francis met with five NBA players in Vatican City early Monday morning to discuss the players’ work to raise awareness of social justice issues and labeled the five players as “champions,” according to the Associated Press.
The Woke Pope initiated the meeting by reaching out to the NBA players’ union last week, the two parties quickly scheduled a meeting from there.
The five players were Marco Belinelli, Sterling Brown, Jonathan Isaac, Kyle Korver and Anthony Tolliver. They were also joined by National Basketball Players Association Executive Director Michele Roberts and two other union executives, Sherrie Deans and Matteo Zuretti, according to a statement from the union.
”We’re here because, frankly, we’re inspired by the work that you do globally,” Roberts told the pope during the meeting in the papal library.’https://amgreatness.com/2020/11/25/nba-players-visit-vatican-praised-by-pope-for-demanding-justice/
Letting companies know what you think concerning something they have done must work some of the time even if the company is Woke. ‘On Friday, Target confirmed to PJ Media that it had restored Abigail Shrier’s important book Irreversible Damage: The Transgender Craze That’s Seducing Our Daughters, following backlash after Target.com removed the book from its inventory. The company appears to have removed the book after one solitary Twitter user complained. PJ Media had sent a press inquiry on Friday morning asking Target to account for its actions. Instead, the company reversed course.
“Yesterday, we removed a book from Target.com based on feedback we received. We want to offer a broad assortment for our guests and are adding this book back to Target.com,” Konnor Schmaltz, a Target spokesman, told PJ Media. “We apologize for any confusion.”’https://pjmedia.com/culture/tyler-o-neil/2020/11/13/exclusive-target-restores-transgender-craze-book-after-pj-media-inquiry-n1143633?utm_source=pjmedia&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=nl_pm&newsletterad=&bcid=08b5a1e2f2263b83e918fb56d7a12a3e&recip=26169367
