In the Land Down Under ‘Senator Pauline Hanson has been pushing for a Royal Commission into the government’s handling of Covid, and demand for one is starting to gain momentum. People always say that the preparation for Royal Commissions costs way too much money, with all the lawyers and whatnot, which is true, so… as an act of selfless public service, here’s a list of questions I’ve drawn up. - Whose decision was it to scrap the previous pandemic plans put into place by Abbott and other earlier governments?
- Whose decision was it for the federal government not to join in the Clive Palmer legal challenge to the closing of state borders?
- Whose decision was it to set up the National Cabinet?
- Why was the National Cabinet given priority over the federal Cabinet?
- Under what legislation was the enforced closure of trade and businesses across the nation permitted?
- Does that legal authority need to be revisited or curtailed to prevent similar outcomes in the event of future pandemics or emergencies?
- What commercial or financial links, if any, exist between any of our health bureaucrats at a state or federal level and any pharmaceutical companies involved in the production of Covid vaccines?
- Are there any conflicts of interest between any of our politicians or health bureaucrats and the vaccine industries?
- Why were certain potential Covid treatments being trialled overseas using medications approved for other uses disallowed by our own health authorities?
- How many times has this ever occurred in the past? If the answer is ‘it has never happened before’, why did it happen this time?
- How much of the JobSeeker and Jobkeeper money was pocketed by big business?
- How much per head did Australian taxpayers spend on stimulus and other such emergency measures? How does this compare with other countries?
- Upon what evidence did our health bureaucrats base their decisions regarding lockdowns and curfews?
- At what point did our health authorities become aware that the vaccines do not necessarily prevent transmission? Did this discovery alter their advice?
- How accurate were the predictive models about deaths in Australia due to Covid?
- What is the federal government’s legal definition of mandatory vaccination? Of coercive vaccination? And of manipulative vaccination?
- How many Covid-registered deaths in Australia were “from” Covid and how many were “with” Covid? Precise numbers please.
These are just some of the questions I would like to see answered. How did China take over the world? All one has to do is look at most products sold and it is easy to see that China manufactures almost everything we purchase but that’s not enough! ‘Masks
All people over the age of 12 must wear a face mask:
- in indoor areas (e.g. while shopping, when at a library)
- in indoor areas of common property of apartment buildings
- at a public transport waiting area
- while on public transport (including in taxis and rideshare services)
- if you are working at a hospitality venue and dealing directly with members of the public
- on an aircraft when the aircraft is flying above NSW and in the airport.
- all staff and students in Year 7 and above, and all staff in K to 6, must wear medical grade masks. Medical grade masks will be supplied to all schools. All students in K to 6 are also strongly encouraged to wear medical grade masks.

Masks are strongly encouraged in settings where you cannot physically distance.
COVID-19 Safe Check-in
COVID-19 Safe QR check-ins are required at:
- retail premises
- food and drink premises
- pubs, small bars and registered clubs
- hairdressers, spas, nail, beauty, waxing, and tanning salons, tattoo parlours and massage parlours
- gyms (except dance, yoga, pilates, gymnastics, and martial arts studios)
- hospitals (except patients of hospitals or hospitals with an electronic entry recording system that records sufficient information that can be used for contact tracing)
- residential care facilities or hostels (except in relation to the residents)
- places of public worship, like churches, mosques, temples, meeting houses and synagogues
- funeral, memorials and gatherings afterwards
- nightclubs
- casinos
- strip clubs, sex on premises venues, sex services premises
- indoor music festivals with more than 1000 people.
Occupiers of premises are required to continue to take reasonable steps to ensure people can check-in or provide their contact details when they enter these premises.
If you are entering a premises where check-in is required, you must:
- check in with the Service NSW app
- provide your details to the occupier of the premises.

Vaccination evidence
Most premises in NSW are now open to everyone, regardless of whether you are fully vaccinated or not.
You no longer need to show evidence that you are fully vaccinated at most premises.
However, you still need to show evidence that you are fully vaccinated if you:
- attend an indoor music festival with more than 1000 people
- if you work in certain industries.

Venues may set their own COVID Safe conditions of entry
In addition to PHO requirements, some premises may choose to require people to be fully vaccinated or to wear a mask as a condition of entry.
It is a matter for the occupier of each premises to exercise judgement on what is appropriate for their premises and the well-being of their staff and customers.
If you want to enter premises where an occupier has chosen to require you to be fully vaccinated, the occupier may ask to see your vaccination evidence. WHEN WILL THIS ALL END?
‘Australia has a renowned and glorious history in immunological science. In fact, I would go as far as to say that if there is an immunological “city on the hill,” it was Australia.
From the storied Walter and Eliza Hall Institute to the Garvan Institute, to prominent Australian Nobel laureates and founding fathers of immunological science (Sir Macfarlane Burnett, Jacques F.P. Miller and Peter Doherty) to contemporary leaders of immunological science (Jonathan Sprent, Christopher Goodnow and Jason Cyster), Australia has been known as the mecca of immunological thinking and science.
So it is simply shocking to see the nation’s government behaving in such an immunologically ill-informed and authoritarian fashion when it comes to its handling of COVID immunity.
The recent deportation of the world’s top-ranked men’s tennis player, Novak Djokovic, from Australia for refusing a mandated vaccine he did not need and could be harmed by, was shocking to me as an immunologist.
Why? Because I know with definitive certainty Djokovic, who recovered from a COVID infection in December 2021, has quite powerful and robust acquired natural immunity to COVID — equivalent, if not more powerful than that attained from full vaccination and boosters.
In other words, the recently COVID-recovered Djokovic posed almost zero risk to himself or anyone in Australia — yet that liberal western democratic government condescended itself into terrible authoritarianism, irrationally and unethically excluding an international champion from one of tennis’ most prestigious events — the Australian Open. How deplorable!
Any immunologist worth his or her salt knows the most unusual aspect of the global COVID vaccine campaign is that the vaccine is being deployed on a mass scale in the midst of a pandemic outbreak, when many are already infected — either recently or at the time of their vaccination.
This indiscriminate public health campaign is dangerous. Not only does it expose many millions of already immune people to the risk of unnecessary medical treatment, but it also poses a serious risk of harm to recently infected or convalescent persons, in whom viral antigenic epitopes still persist, and in whom an unnecessary vaccination could induce a hyper-inflammatory response.
That prominent immunologists — especially the contemporary Australian pioneers in immunology — are either unaware of or silent about how our scientific discipline of immunology is being corrupted and abused by governments around the world so they can impose draconian mass mandates upon millions of persons with acquired “natural” or “hybrid” immunity has been frankly disappointing and shocking to me.
But I suppose all heroes have clay feet — and even careful thinkers can think carelessly sometimes.
Still, it is shocking to hear crickets from the giants of the world of immunology — especially those from Australia, which truly is the birthplace of modern immunology — when it comes to the topic of mandated vaccination of the already well immune and recently infected.
What a terrible sign of our time — when neither science and reason nor ethics and the western defense of individuality matter any longer in the face of irrational fear and government edicts.
Djokovic’s irrational and unethical deportation from Australia is a stain on the reputation of the many prominent Aussie immunologists and storied immunological institutes in that country.
The government override of the principles of immunological science and medical ethics, in order to achieve population-level compliance, while the western heroes of immunological science stay silent spells disaster for the integrity of western civilizations and self-governing democracies.
Shame on the Australian government for irrationally deporting Djokovic. And woe onto those prominent expert Australians and Aussie institutions, who actually know better but have chosen not to speak up for the sake of political expediency or personal comfort.
It is, indeed, easier not to rock the boat and not to speak up, than it is to stand in the way of unethical authoritarian conduct by a powerful democratic government gone astray.
But that slope is a slippery one and we are all sliding down it. ‘With the deportation of World No.1 tennis ace Novak Djokovic last week, eleven-time world champion Kelly Slater has been banned from competing in Australia under a ‘rules are rules’ direction.
“I reckon he knows the rules,” said Australia’s Minister for Sport Richard Colbeck. “It doesn’t matter whether you’re a surfer, or a tennis player, a tourist or anyone else, those are the rules. They apply to everyone. I don’t like the chances of him competing in Victoria, and I’d hate to think of what the chances were of him competing in Western Australia.”
The American surfer has not declared his vaccination status, but like Djokovic, he has been prominent online in his criticism of vaccine mandates.
It means that he almost certainly will not be competing in the Rip Curl Pro and Margaret River Pro in April 2022.
“If I know the risks and I judge the choice to be one that benefits/hurts me based on stats and info and my own ability, I can choose accordingly. For people saying ‘listen to the doctors’, I’m positive I know more about being healthy than 99 per cent of doctors, but I wouldn’t trust me. But most of my Covid info comes directly from doctor friends, many of them in disagreement with the official ‘science’.”
The Australian government has a blanket rule on international arrivals, insisting that they all present proof of Covid vaccination.
This regulation has been put in place in the interest of ‘public safety’ despite Omicron entering Australia via fully-vaccinated travellers. The current outbreak inside most states is being spread among everyone, regardless of vaccination status, as reflected by infection rates in state health data.
Prime Minister Scott Morrison said last year that vaccination was a voluntary – not compulsory – choice.

‘Australia is set to achieve 180 per cent vaccination now that the evil Novak Djokovic is out of the way.
Djokovic, an anti-vax evangelist posing as the world’s Number One tennis player, snuck into the country last week in a bid to spread non-approved views.
He had planned to hijack the Australian Open and use our premier sporting event as a platform from which to infect the minds of Australians with naughty ideas.
And he almost got away with it.
The sinister Serb’s deadly attack was only thwarted when a fast-thinking government took almost a week to come up with the greatest topspin lob since Ken Rosewell – playing without a Covid jab – won our Grand Slam back in 1972.
The government argued that the unvaccinated Djokovic’s mere ‘presence in Australia may foster anti-vaccination sentiment’ and ‘reinforce views’!
You know, like some of the government’s own MPs!
Cue scary music…
It was unclear how removing Djokovic from the country, when Australians already knew his ‘views’, would stop citizens becoming victims of his deadly wrong-think.
Did the government imagine that if Djokovic had been allowed to stay, unsuspecting tennis fans would lose their vaccine efficacy every time he hit a forehand winner?
Thud! A dozen spectators just became unvaccinated.
Whack! Fifty more just questioned the science.
Smash! A million people watching at home decided to attend a freedom march.
That our government was so terrified of a single tennis player showed just how dangerous Djokovic was; and how little faith the government had in the popularity of mandatory vaccines.
Of course, our Prime Minister had already assured us that vaccination was not mandatory. So, the real problem seemed to be that Djokovic might persuade people to use discretion on a decision the PM had insisted was discretionary. And we couldn’t have that, otherwise people might start thinking vaccination was not mandatory.
Fortunately, our Courts agreed that the government had the power to do whatever it wanted to do to anyone that it didn’t like. Though why we needed the Federal Court of Australia to say what peacefully protesting Melbournians, still sporting bruises from police-issue rubber bullets, could have told us is anyone’s guess.
With The Serbinator expelled from the country, and so unable to spread anti-vax sentiment, our police can now get back to arresting pregnant women for unapproved Facebook posts and dragging grandmothers away for not revealing their vaccination status. You know, to calm sentiment.
Meanwhile, citizens are safe from the corrupting influence of The Joker and free to enjoy the Omicron spread, health system chaos, empty supermarket shelves, and threats of unemployment if they fail to get a booster shot (or five).
Prime Minister Scott Morrison, who insisted ‘rules are rules’ before kicking Djokovic out of the country because he didn’t like the tennis player’s vibe, celebrated by declaring: ‘It’s now time to get on with the Australian Open and get back to enjoying the tennis over summer.’
Which, translated, meant: ‘Bread and games everybody, bread and games!’

‘In the classic movie “The Princess Bride,” the hilariously inept villain Vizzini engages in a “battle of wits” with the hero, Wesley, a.k.a. the Man in Black, over a poisoned glass of wine. As Vizzini attempts to outwit his opponent with what Wesley mockingly calls “a dizzying intellect,” he expounds on the nation of Australia. “As everyone knows,” he says, “Australia is entirely peopled with criminals, and criminals are used to having people not trust them.”
Here in our own bizarre reality, Australia is populated by untrusted criminals only because their own government has declared them to be such.
For much of the coronavirus pandemic, the people of Australia have been prisoners of their own government’s tyrannical attempts to reach “COVID zero.” Totally outrageous videos and stories abound regarding people arrested for violating mandates, even when they’re outside and pose no threat to anyone. People are forcibly detained in quarantine facilities (and heaven help them if they escape). Elective surgeries have been suspended. In at least one case, parents were denied the ability to identify their dead son’s body. We could go on and on about the dystopian nightmare that is the Land Down Under.
How’s that working out for stopping the spread? Wednesday’s Reuters headline says it all: “Australia suffers record COVID cases.”

So it’s little surprise to hear the story of Novak Djokovic, the world’s number-one-ranked tennis star, who has been forcibly detained upon arrival in Melbourne to defend his Australian Open title. (He’s won nine Australian Opens and his next Grand Slam title will break a three-way tie for the most men’s titles in history.) Djokovic has refused to disclose his vaccination status as required, but he obtained an exemption thanks to natural immunity from a previous infection and headed to Australia with that understanding. A day after he arrived, however, Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison declared that Djokovic’s visa had been canceled and that he’d be sent home. He’ll be detained until the deportation question is settled on Monday in court.
Another of the world’s best tennis players, Rafael Nadal, didn’t have much sympathy. “If you are vaccinated,” he said, “you can play.” Again, Djokovic apparently chose natural immunity over vaccination. Nadal, who’s been fully vaccinated, caught COVID over Christmas anyway.
Tell us again how the rules make any sense?
As for the tennis world, the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) recently stood up to China over Beijing’s treatment of Peng Shuai after her accusation of sexual assault at the hands of a ChiCom official. The WTA pulled out of China until further notice. Perhaps it’s time for other players to boycott the Australian Open — unless, that is, they’re just happy to have an easier chance of winning without Djokovic in the mix, even if an asterisk ought to apply to the eventual winner.
And as for Australia, the nation has already served as a model for American Democrats when it comes to gun confiscation. Citizens there gave up their guns in a “buyback” scheme that Democrats would love to replicate here. We can blame the Australian government all day, but in the end, the people seem to have the government they want and deserve. There is, after all, a cultural zeitgeist that prevails when people are unarmed and defenseless. It allowed them to be disarmed in the first place and now to be effectively imprisoned “for their own good.”
Maybe Vizzini was right.

A limited set of semi-automatic rifles and shotguns, as well as pump-action shotguns, were confiscated under the banner of the ‘buy-back’ scheme with stringent licensing requirements put in place. Many everyday Australians merely buried their weapons until things died down, and then went about making their own. There are more guns in Australia now than ever before, both legal and illegal.
