‘Pizza Hut is exposing children as young as pre-kindergartners to LGBT-themed literature as part of its annual summer reading program.
Big Wig, a book promoted by the restaurant chain as appropriate for children ages pre-K to third grade, “celebrates drag kids, individuality, and self-confidence from the perspective of a fabulous wig,” according to its publisher, Simon and Schuster. Be Amazing: A History of Pride, a book suggested by Pizza Hut for pre-K through first graders, is authored by “Desmond is Amazing,” a self-described 12-year-old “drag kid” who teaches young readers about “brave people that have paved the way for the LGBTQ+ community and encourages readers to be themselves.”
Pizza Hut joins several other corporations who have peddled leftwing ideology about sexual orientation and gender identity as children’s entertainment. State Farm had planned to distribute LGBT-themed books to children through community centers, libraries, and school teachers until a whistleblower’s efforts in May forced them to reverse course. Investigative journalist Chris Rufo revealed in April that Disney has been “adding queerness” to children’s programs. And children’s cartoon Blue’s Clues featured a song for Pride Month sung by a cartoon drag queen, celebrating families with gay, lesbian, transgender, and nonbinary members.
“This is another appalling example of a major corporation propagandizing kids on sexual matters,” Consumers’ Research executive director Will Hild told the Washington Free Beacon. “It’s vile that a pizza company would try to push transgenderism on children. And if this is the quality of their ethics and judgment, what does that say about the quality of their product?”

‘Investigators say an affair led to the shooting of a man on the square in Ozark on Saturday.
Joe Newburn, 57, of Ozark, died in the shooting. Matthew Dedmon, 47, of Ozark, faces a first-degree murder charge in the case. A Christian County judge has yet to set a bond for Dedmon.
The shooting happened Saturday near the historic courthouse in the 100 block of West Church Street around 1 p.m. Investigators say Dedmon drove his truck to the square to contact his wife. Once he arrived, they say Dedmon observed his wife with Newburn in a restaurant. Investigators say Dedmon confronted Newburn, knowing he and his wife were having an affair. Investigators say that is when Dedmon shot Newburn three times.
Newburn died at a Springfield hospital from gunshot wounds.
Investigators uncovered the gun used in Dedmon’s truck. Police arrested Dedmon shortly after the shooting.

A note went home to parents that has left one mother irate enough to raise the issue with a state parliamentarian.
The note said, “We have 15 places for any student at MHS who identifies as female to attend the Girls in Tech Live Virtual Event happening in our Library. The Girls in Tech event is focused on educating female identifying high school students about the diverse career opportunities available to them in the STEM.”
The mother expressed her disappointment with the propaganda being pushed within the system.
“I’m disappointed that our education system is quietly introducing and changing language that supports dangerous fluid gender theory/ideology that causes more long-term mental harm to our youth,” the mother said.
“We have this new generation worrying about what their sexual and gender identity is at a very young age and they are not being given a balanced view on this topic by the education department.
“I have never seen or heard of so many confused children as I have in the last three years since my child moved back to government provided teaching.
“Teachers introducing themselves by pronouns has started to become more normalised too.”
One Nation MLC Mark Latham was contacted by the mother and he now plans to ask Education Minister Sarah Mitchell how “allowing boys who identify as girls” participating in the event would boost female representation in STEM careers.
“The only purpose of using the words ‘any student who identifies as female’ is to tell the students that gender is not biologically determined but socially constructed and fluid,” Mr Latham said.
“The careers adviser should stick to the science of gender and sex and leave her work Leftist politics at home, or run for election herself.
“(NSW Premier Dominic) Perrottet has said a ‘woman is an adult female’, so why aren’t our schools teaching and saying that to these children?”
Binary spokeswoman, Kirralie Smith, said girls are always the ones disadvantaged by this propaganda.
“Categories for girls-only are now being offered to males who appropriate the female sex,” she said.
“So basically, it is open to anyone. There are no girls-only categories if anyone can don a costume and change their name to appear female.
“Boys who claim to be girls can only do so by appropriating superficial stereotypes. They are still boys.
“Why is the NSW Education system actively participating in the erasure of females? STEM stands for science, technology, engineering and mathematics and yet this is a complete denial of science. ‘The World Health Organization (WHO) on Friday held an emergency meeting to discuss the outbreak of monkeypox after more than 100 cases were reported across 12 countries.
Days before the WHO convened, the Biden administration placed a $119 million order for monkeypox vaccines after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) confirmed six people in the U.S. were being monitored for the viral infection, and one person had tested positive.
Belgium on Sunday became the first country to introduce a compulsory 21-day quarantine for monkeypox patients after reporting four cases of the disease in the last week, Politico reported.
The 100 newly reported cases, or suspected cases, garnered attention because many of them do not appear to be linked to travel to Africa, where in some regions, monkeypox is endemic.
Cases were reported in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the U.K. No deaths are reported as of yet.
The number of identified cases in Europe is a record, described by Germany’s armed forces medical services as “the largest and most widespread outbreak … ever seen in Europe,” while its spread in the U.K. was described as “unprecedented.”
U.K. public health officials warned more monkeypox cases are being detected “on a daily basis” and that there “could be really significant numbers over the next two or three weeks,” though they did not specify what “numbers” would be considered “really significant.”
The manner in which monkeypox may have spread — through sexual health services and sexual contact between men — also may have helped to heap attention on this new outbreak.
Many of the recent cases were traced to two “superspreader” events that involved situations in which men came into close physical contact, including 30 monkeypox cases in Spain traced to a single adult sauna in Madrid.

The creation of an “Offender Information System” was one of the key recommendations in a report released Sunday by Guidepost Solutions, an independent firm contracted by the SBC’s Executive Committee after delegates to last year’s national meeting pressed for an investigation by outsiders.

Now, what in the world does being a queer have to do with your groceries? Well, here in Australia the grocery chain ‘Coles sacked the last of its unvaccinated staff at the beginning of this year, long after state mandates fell and other industries began allowing the so-called mavericks of the workforce back into the office. The move, along with other supermarket giants, saw thousands of Australians unceremoniously dumped, many of them single mothers or from struggling households.
‘Shop safe at Coles’ is something that looks good printed in big letters across double-page ads to those still suffering from anxiety hangovers. Just don’t ask too many questions about the health logic, given unvaccinated people can shop in the store, but not stand behind the counter.
Speaking of corporate virtue signalling.
The same company turned around this week and announced it would be offering its trans and gender-diverse employees ten extra days of paid leave for the purpose of ‘gender affirmation’. ‘Affirmation’ is a hazy term that Coles describes as ‘any process’ that relates to the act of gender affirmation including surgical, social, legal, or medical action. Leave could be granted for anything from an appointment with a lawyer through to full surgery.
Gender Affirmation Leave was timed to coincide with the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersexism, and Transphobia – one of the dozens of days and months dedicated to a sexual preference or pronouns.
Coles Chief Legal and Safety Officer, David Brewster, (who also serves as the Chair of the Pride Steering Committee), released a statement.
‘We know that we have at least 900 team members who identify as transgender or gender diverse. We need to have proper policy and education in this area so there is clear guidance around taking leave for this important transition in their life.’
Coles attached a long and bizarre ‘gender affirming’ statement that seems a little over the top for employment that largely involves stacking shelves and pushing trolleys.
