Brother Wayne Mund recently went home to be with his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Here’s his testimony. ‘I was born and reared in a fishing village along the Alabama gulf coast. Our home was right on the Bon Secour River, so as far back as I can remember, I have had my feet in the water. As a small child I remember catching minnows in a baited jar, graduating to a small cast net that I literally threw until it fell apart. From there I proceeded to my own boats, gill nets, trawls, oysters tongs, crab traps, etc. Thus the seafood world was in my veins as real as blood.
My parents were good church-going people. They were faithful members of a church in our area. Around the age of nine I joined this church. Not until I was eighteen and in college do I remember giving thought to my spiritual condition. After exposure to Bible preaching, it was apparent that I had a big need. I had never come to know Christ a my personal Saviour. In January of 1966 I acknowledged my condition as a lost sinner and received Christ as Saviour. My, what a difference! Soon after, the call of God came to preach. After college and Bible training, God blessed with two exciting churches that I pastored for fifteen years. Those years held blessings and training needful for the work here at FOMMI. In 1989 FOMMI planted Fishermen Baptist Church in Bon Secour, Alabama. In 2018, after 29 years, I retired from pastoring Fishermen Baptist Church, and in 2019 FOMMI joined forces with Victory Baptist Church of Milton, Florida, to continue worldwide mission efforts.
Being raised around the sea it came natural to have heart and soul in it. Little did I ever know that God would use me to reach out to those who live in island and seacoast areas. Jesus seemed to love Galilee. Much of His time was spent along the sea. The first four disciples were fishing men. Coastal areas of the world are in desperate need of the gospel. The most wicked of places are said to be port cities. My heart is in those areas. God plants you where you grow your best. Millions live where the sea touches the land. ‘The chairman of a Grantham football club says that he has been backed by the team’s supporters’ group after he claimed that refugees staying in the town were “roaming the streets” for drugs.
A meeting of Grantham Town’s supporters’ club on Saturday, September 25, met to vote on a statement that would have asked the team’s chairman, Darren Ashton, to apologise for his comment and to retract it.
But the group has confirmed to Lincolnshire Live that the statement was not backed because it felt that it would be “inappropriate” to comment whilst the FA were investigating the matter.
The investigation also meant that the supporters’ group didn’t want to offer any further comment to Lincolnshire Live.
Mr Ashton claimed that only two people in the meeting voted in favour of the statement, and that the supporters’ group has around 300 members, although he does not know how many were in attendance at the meeting as he wasn’t able to attend.
A representative from the supporters’ group told Lincolnshire Live that the number of members was in fact 113.
The Urban Hotel on Swingbridge Road in Grantham is currently home to refugees from Afghanistan after the British Government pledged to take in 20,000 refugees from the landlocked country over the next five years following the recent withdrawal of British troops.
In a tweet posted about this on the evening of Thursday, September 9, Mr Ashton said: “True story, I’m the chairman of Grantham Town, and we had one of our players staying there on a long-term agreement.
“Last Friday they informed him he had to be out by Monday. No consideration for an 18-year-old lad away from his family and friends trying to make a career for himself.”
He then posted a further tweet in the conversation, which read: “Those refugees are as we speak roaming the streets of Grantham trying to get drugs.”
Mr Ashton then tweeted again on Friday morning saying: “It would appear I upset a few people last night with some of my responses to there [sic] messages.
“I would like to take this opportunity to apologise to absolutely NO ONE. Good day to you all.”
Speaking to Lincolnshire Live following the result of the supporters’ group meeting being announced, Mr Ashton said: “A massive majority voted in my favour which I’m very happy about because a lot of people have misrepresented what I said.”
Mr Ashton says that he didn’t single out Afghan refugees in particular, as he claimed that refugees of other nationalities are staying at the hotel.
He said: “All along I’ve asked for people to point exactly to something I’ve said which was racist and they can’t.
“I have already said that the way I worded the tweets was a bit poor and I’ve apologised for that side of things, but I’m a council lad who hasn’t got a degree like most other people so sometimes my wording is poor.
“But I won’t apologise for the actual content of what I said because I’m not a racist, and I’m not right-wing as some people have said.
“What I’ve learnt during this process is that if you happen to disagree with someone who is on the left, then you are labelled right-wing.”
Lincolnshire Live understands the national FA have now taken up the investigation into 45-year-old Mr Ashton, who is from Sheffield.
Mr Ashton added: “As far as I’m aware the FA investigation is not football related because the lads are still being paid and the academy is going well.
“We’ve got all ethnicities and nationalities working at the club and I invested £60,000 of my own money last year, and again this year.

Evolutionists wanted to escape the hot water created by too large a sun. So they suggested that perhaps the sun alternately shrinks and expands. There is evidence of a very small pulsation, but overall the shrinkage is undeniable, and at any rate of shrinkage, this places the maximum age of the Earth sustaining life at only thousands of years. Some evolutionists have now suggested that the earlier studies were wrong and the sun is not shrinking at all. The matter is still under study.
Whatever results from this debate about the sun, we need to remember that God, as Creator, is in charge. The late George Wald, who taught biology at Harvard, said just this in an article in Scientific American. He was marveling at life and all of its complex systems when he penned some of the most famous words ever offered by an evolutionist. Notice how Professor Wald admits the need for miracles to produce life. Will huge amounts of time – time we know didn’t exist – create these miracles? Not at all. A fundamental law tells us that if something won’t happen by itself in a short period of time, it is virtually certain that it will not happen over a long period of time. It’s true. Our New South Wales state government has locked us down and pushed being vaccinated for months until one could literally SCREAM! One does have to feel sorry for these who believe they are doing “good” in sending people out into eternity without realizing they and those they sent to their early death will someday ‘stand before God’ and ‘cast into the lake of fire‘ which ‘is the second death.’
Nevertheless, for now ‘Independent MP Alex Greenwich’s assisted suicide bill will be tabled in Parliament on 12 October 2021. It includes the following:
- Assisted suicide can be suggested by medical practitioners.
- Approval for assisted suicide can be as short as 5 business days.
- Communication for the first and final request for assisted suicide can be done via telehealth. This is a breach of the Federal Criminal code which states that it is an offence to use any form of electronic communication to publish, counsel or incite committing or attempting to commit suicide.
- Faith-based hospitals and nursing homes must allow all stages of the assisted suicide process on their premises for permanent residents.
- Faith-based hospitals must allow VAD navigators into hospitals to provide information to persons relating to voluntary assisted dying.
- Psychologist referral is not required if a person is suffering from mental illness. The referral is only mandatory to assess a person’s capacity, pressure or duress.
Ultimately, the bill has detailed instructions to educate a generation of medical practitioners on how to take life instead preserving it. This brave man ‘Dr. Wesley Granger has been practicing medicine for more than thirty years, and now he’s become the face of the anti-forced vaccination movement there. Literally: He’s put his face on a billboard there, protesting against vax mandates.

We received this in an email the other day from https://www.service.nsw.gov.au/ and it outlines the freedoms an unvaxxed person has and the freedoms a vaxxed person has! This is what it is like in a democracy!?
‘When NSW reaches the 70% full vaccination target, the rules about what you can and can’t do will change.
While this means some easing of restrictions for people who are fully vaccinated or have a medical exemption, stay at home rules will either continue or reapply for people who are unvaccinated in rural and regional NSW.
Why the rules are changing
As NSW starts to reopen, to keep us all safe you’ll need to be vaccinated.
COVID-19 vaccines reduce your chance of being infected with COVID-19 by around 80% and significantly reduces the overall spread of COVID-19 to others.
To reopen NSW safely, a large proportion of the population needs to be vaccinated. This will help stop the spread and also protect vulnerable members of our community who are unable to be vaccinated.
For this reason, at the 70% full vaccination target, easing of restrictions will only apply to people who have received both doses of a COVID-19 vaccine or have a medical exemption.
Increased vaccine supply
Three COVID-19 vaccines are now available in regional and rural NSW. Moderna (Spikevax), Pfizer (Comirnaty) and AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria) have all been approved by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) in Australia:
- The Moderna vaccine is available for people aged 12-59 and is available in pharmacies.
- The Pfizer vaccine is available for people aged 12-59 and is available in pharmacies, GPs, Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services and NSW Health vaccination clinics.
- The AstraZeneca vaccine is available for people aged 18+ and is available in pharmacies, GPs, Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services and NSW Health vaccination clinics.

Boy, are there a lot of different names thrown at those who have not received one of the Wuhan virus vaccines yet! They are being called Nazi’s, right wingers, anti-vaxxer’s, murderers and many more. Now, I have not received the vax yet but I do believe the virus exists. My eldest daughter is a nurse on the Covid floor in her hospital and has seen patients die with or of the virus. However, I also believe there is something devilish behind all that our elected officials have done to individuals and businesses. If anyone has acted like a Nazi in handling this Wuhan virus it is the government. What a roadmap for a so-called democracy! Note the second line concerning places of worship. As a born-again Bible believing Christian and preacher I find this amusing and anti-Bible. Firstly, the Chief Shepherd “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners” and one reason He left us believers here after He ascended into Heaven are to be “witnesses” Acts 1:8. Most of that witnessing for Christ takes place in everyday life but it also takes place in the assembling together of the local churches where the Gospel is openly preached. In fact, this Wuhan virus seems to be the joy of those who know not the Lord as they have been able to stop most if not all local churches from meeting together as they once did before the virus and the draconian government rules were imposed. Our elected officials probably do not know it but God’s Word says in Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. The government in a true free society would never have closed down local churches due to a virus! They may have advised social distancing, masks and hand sanitizer but this state government has deemed themselves above God and are saying ONLY THE FULLY VACCINATED MAY ATTEND WORSHIP SERVICES AFTER OCTOBER 11! Our elected Masters have put themselves above the Creator and His Word!
Secondly, this elected state government will not allow the UNCLEAN non-vaccinated people entry to worship their Lord and Saviour until LATE OCTOBER WHEN 80% HAVE TAKEN THE KOOL AID, I mean the vaccine! It isn’t until the 1st of December that our elected “public servants” allow singing in the worship services! What SCIENCE is behind all this?
Well, what are we to do? One thing we should be doing is to “pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you“. This government is not only treating Christians poorly but all citizens of New South Wales! This so-called ROADMAP TO RECOVERY isn’t promised to last forever either. Lockdowns and draconian rules could be imposed on the citizens whenever the elected officials deem it necessary for our HEALTH AND SAFTEY!
As far as I know there will be elections again in New South Wales so there is hope!
However, the real hope is found in Titus 2:13 where it tells us that we are to be “Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ“.
