And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. (Isaiah 2:4)
‘It has been over 100 years since “The War to End All Wars” ended in victory for those who had “fought to make the world safe for democracy.” A celebration of thanksgiving followed, and a holiday was established to commemorate that great Armistice Day (now Veterans Day).
However, an even greater war soon followed, only to be repeated by innumerable local wars and revolutions. Instead of a world of liberty and democracy, many of the world’s nations are now under the brutal heel of totalitarian dictatorships. With the threat of potential nuclear obliteration hanging over the world, the prophecy of Christ is being literally fulfilled: “Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth” (Luke 21:26).
In the 25 centuries since our text was first uttered, there has been a war going on somewhere in the world at least 11 out of every 12 years, and it certainly seems unlikely that such a promise will ever be fulfilled.
Yet it is God who has promised, and only He can accomplish it. “He shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people” (our text for today). “Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end….The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this” (Isaiah 9:7). When the Lord Jesus Christ comes again, “he shall speak peace unto the (nations): and his dominion shall be from sea even to sea, and from the river even to the ends of the earth” (Zechariah 9:10). Finally, world peace will come, and Christ “shall reign for ever and ever” (Revelation 11:15).’https://www.icr.org/article/13049/?utm_source=phplist9668&utm_medium=email&utm_content=HTML&utm_campaign=November+11+-+To+End+All+Wars
As a born again Christian I know how things are going to end but in the mean time these crazies that are seeking to replace God with themselves it is interesting to see the many ways in which they are seeking to do it. Now, there is ‘The decarbonization terraforming of planet Earth is now under way. A new project has already been launched that will install mega machines across five U.S. states to harvest “life molecules” out of the atmosphere in an effort to shut down photosynthesis and unleash global food crop failures that destroy human civilization.
Farmland is already being seized in Iowa via eminent domain to build the mechanical infrastructure that will render Earth’s atmosphere inhospitable to plant life, animal life and human life, if it is allowed to continue to operate.
It’s almost like a scene ripped right out of the film Oblivion, where giant ocean harvesting machines sucked the water off the planet, abandoning the remaining human survivors on a barren, dead world that was ransacked by aliens. But in this case, the planet’s air is being stripped of carbon, the “God element” that is the very basis of life on Earth.’https://www.naturalnews.com/2021-11-10-decarbonization-terraforming-of-planet-earth-is-now-under-way-giant-machines-to-be-installed-in-iowa-to-suck-life-molecules-out-of-the-atmosphere-and-cause-global-crops-to-fail.html
‘World Food Programme director, David Beasely recently stated 2 per cent of Elon Musk’s wealth could solve world hunger, to which Musk calmly responded he’s willing to fork out the money if the UN provides a plan. But can $US6 billion really put an end to a global issue that’s been around for decades? Probably not. That’s because the real problem is a lack of capitalism in countries most affected by hunger. Providing aid treats the symptom, not the cause.
The real root of the hunger problem isn’t that poverty-stricken countries don’t have money; it’s that they don’t have a political system that supports money-making. Simply throwing money at a problem isn’t a sustainable solution. Only policymakers have the power to influence a change.
The age of social media has provided platforms for most people to voice their thoughts. Currently, one prevailing sentiment happens to be hatred towards the wealthy. While many admire the ultra-rich for their lifestyle, still most dislike them for not coughing out half their assets to end global crises. What they don’t realise is that many US citizens who are wealthy today started out dirt poor. But since they lived in a capitalistic society, through innovation, entrepreneurship and hard work, they were able to go from rags to riches.
The WFP website states it raised a record of $US8.4 billion, but also pointed out they are still $5.3 billion short from the required amount. This raises a question ― how did the WFP come up with this number? Founded in 1961, the WFP has consistently been receiving donations from wealthy individuals and governments worldwide. They’ve been collecting donations from the rich for the last 60 years, and they’ve still not resolved world hunger. Is a one-time donation from Musk or Bezos really going to fix it all now?
Organisations like the WFP that pledge to feed the poor may be able to place a hot meal or two on the table for the hungry, but they cannot feed them for life. Gathering money to feed the poor is good, but helping these countries set up sustainable systems that fix the root problems would be better.
For example, Sierra Leone is a country severely affected by hunger. Sixty percent of its population lives below the poverty line. Its annual GDP per capita is US$484.52. The country boasts an abundance of natural resources, including iron ore and titanium, and is a major producer of gold and diamond, yet this has not given them an edge. That’s because when it comes to human development — like life expectancy, education or purchasing power parity — out of all the countries in the world, Sierra Leone is nearly at the bottom of the stack.
In addition, Sierra Leone ranks 150th out of 178 countries in economic openness, with low property rights and lower government integrity. Government spending is also on the rise, causing public debt to go up to the equivalent of 60.5 percent of its GDP. Then, there’s the cherry on top of it all: Sky high tariffs account for 45 percent of government revenue. Possessing natural resources ought to be a clear advantage for Sierra Leone, but when policy makers constantly intervene with private sector development and espouse protectionism, that advantage is lost entirely.
When you take into account all of these factors, it’s no wonder they’re going hungry.
Conversely, sitting on the other side of the Human Development Index (HDI) are the resource-poor Singapore and Hong Kong, ranking 11th and 4th respectively. Singapore has a GDP per capita of US$59,797.75 and Hong Kong of US$46,323.86. Both countries are two of the richest in the world, but they started with little land and no natural resources. They are both bustling financial hubs, but this was not by chance or luck.
The two countries are strong advocates for free-market policies, characterised by low taxes and an aversion to both protectionism and central planning.
Capitalism grows wealth. In turn, that growth supports a higher standard of living, and that includes a low hunger rate.
Billionaires can foot the bill for the hungry — perhaps they even have an obligation to share their marvellous wealth with the less fortunate — but let’s not get confused about it: No amount of charity will change their plight. The wealthy are not the government. As such they are neither obligated nor empowered to end world hunger. It’s policymakers alone who hold the power to free economies.
Countries who care for the cause should encourage immigration and make it an easier process, so citizens of starving nations can make the move and enjoy the benefits of capitalism. Only then can we make some progress on this global crisis.’https://spectator.com.au/2021/11/sorry-but-elon-musk-cant-fix-world-hunger-by-giving-his-money-away/?utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=MDS%20%2020211111%20%20SG&utm_content=MDS%20%2020211111%20%20SG+CID_f41c9caec8be7507b2ab2d14a2008fca&utm_source=CampaignMonitor_Australia&utm_term=Sorry%20but%20Elon%20Musk%20cant%20fix%20world%20hunger%20by%20giving%20his%20money%20away

When one ministry closes for many if not most of these megachurch men there seems to be another ministry that opens for them.
‘This just in from The Worthy Walk:
Sad news…
Effective July 30, Pastor Armstrong chose to resign from The Chapel in Akron, Ohio. He will be moving on to new ministry opportunities. Once he has established himself, we will post updates to let our listening audience know.
The Worthy Walk radio program on WCRF Moody Radio Cleveland is no longer airing. You can still listen on WKJA 90.9 in Barberton, and on WNPQ 95.9 in Canton until August 29. At that time, the program will no longer air on any radio stations.
The website will be updated on occasion but no further programs will be created for the foreseeable future.
Sad news? Well, turn that frown upside down my Christian celebrity-loving friends. Tim Armstrong is just one more preacher-gone-bad in a long line of Christian celebrities to quickly land another job in the lucrative field of Christian Ministry. Generally, most disgraced preacher types take a minimum of six months before reappearing on the scene; having repented, rebranded, and ready to spread their version of the gospel, having heard directly from the Lord Almighty that His Kingdom cannot prevail without their unique ministry. But Armstrong is apparently so vital to the growth of the Kingdom that after a mere three weeks since his forced resignation from the Chapel the Lord has opened the door to a new ministry.
This, from the same website today:
Tim Armstrong was the founder and senior pastor of Crossroads Community Church in Mansfield, Ohio. In 2014, he became the 5th senior pastor for The Chapel in Akron, Ohio. He is currently relocating and will be starting a new ministry soon.
Well, I have to give Armstrong’s handlers credit for cleverly crafting the statements above. It is true that Armstrong did resign, but they left out an important piece of information, that is, had he not resigned he would have been fired.
It would appear that Cedarville University President, Thomas White is a two-time loser when it comes to discerning Christian character, or perhaps he is a perfectly fine judge of character, but when it comes to choosing between character or friendship, White will choose friendship every time.
Readers may recall that White hired Anthony Moore, his long-time friend from their days together at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary after Moore was fired from the Village Church for filming another friend of his (and assistant pastor) on numerous occasions in the shower.
According to an article written by Julie Roys on May 1, 2020:
Cedarville University President Thomas White maintains that he was told an “incomplete narrative” about Anthony Moore—the man he hired in 2017 after Moore had been fired by The Village Church (TVC) for “grievous sexual immoral actions.”
However, today an elder at TVC’s Fort Worth campus disputed White’s narrative. He also named two other leaders, a pastor and a professor, whom he says were fully informed about Moore in 2017.
During an interview last week, White told me he knew that Moore had recorded multiple videos of another man showering in Moore’s home. But White said he thought Moore had recorded at most two videos and that Moore’s problem “was not a habitual, perpetual deal” but a “slip into temptation.”
White fired Moore last Friday, claiming that he had just learned that Moore had recorded at least five videos over a span of at least five months.
Then we have this video, recorded at a Cedarville University chapel service, of Thomas White introducing his good friend, hunting buddy, and member of the Cedarville University Board of Trustees, Tim Armstrong. At the time Armstrong was the senior pastor of The Chapel Church in Akron, OH. He also had a radio program called “The Worthy Walk.” The radio program is no longer airing and Tim Armstrong resigned from his position of senior pastor after both the Constitution Committee and the Board of Trustees from The Chapel Church voted unanimously that Armstrong, “in accordance with language outlined in The Chapel’s Constitution, is unable to fulfill the duties of senior pastor and therefore cannot be restored to the role of senior pastor of The Chapel. The Trustees unanimously voted to affirm that recommendation. Pastor Tim agreed to resign, effective immediately.”
As far as we know, Armstrong has retained his position on the Cedarville University Board of Trustees. His presence on the Board has paid dividends for both Armstrong and White; Armstrong’s twin daughters received a free education at Cedarville University and he also voted with the majority to reinstate Thomas White as president of Cedarville. (It should be noted that Danny Akin and Mark Vroegop resigned their positions on the Board of Trustees because of their strong disagreement with the decision.)
We are left wondering what will happen first, Tim Armstrong announces his new ministry job or The Chapel leadership restores Mike Castelli and Jim Mitchell to their jobs. I don’t believe we will have to wait much longer.’http://thewartburgwatch.com/2021/08/17/tim-armstrong-announces-he-will-be-starting-new-ministry-soon/
Genesis 8:22 “While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.”

Climate change is a funny thing. Almost any weather-related phenomenon can be said to have been altered over time, and the culprit is usually thought to be man-made CO2. One weather feature much trumpeted as a herald of climate change is the hurricane.
An article on the Science Daily website in November 2019 claimed that climate change was causing hurricanes to be bigger and more damaging. A few days after it was published, the paper was criticized by the environmental scientist, Dr. Roger Pielke Jr.
Pielke showed a number of errors with the alarmist paper. Most of the alarmists’ research concerned economic data rather than physical atmospheric data. Hurricanes were compared by the amount of economic damage that they do, but, clearly, hurricanes today can do more economic damage if industrial and urban areas have grown in recent decades.
Another problem was that the alarmists had used two online datasets that Pielke knew very well because he and a student of his had created them. The alarmists had spliced the two datasets together even though their data were not compatible. Thus, the conclusions drawn from the data were erroneous.
It appears as if alarmists actually want hurricanes to be bigger and more destructive so that they can claim this as “proof” of climate change. However, God’s words are clear. He has promised that seasons will continue to function for all time until He chooses to bring the world to an end. It is God who is in charge of climate.’https://creationmoments.com/sermons/is-climate-change-causing-bigger-hurricanes/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=is-climate-change-causing-bigger-hurricanes&mc_cid=c90a4e01c6&mc_eid=00c1dcff3c
The Government is NOT the Parent! Parents are responsible for their children including their education and what they read! However, in the state of Virginia BIG government has assumed they are in charge. Well, here is one woman that let them know they aren’t!
‘A Virginia mother has been blocked from entering her son’s public high school library weeks after she complained about books in the collection being pornographic, according to a new report.
Stacy Langton told the Washington Examiner Monday that Fairfax Principal Maureen Keck told her she was not allowed to enter the library anymore.’
Langton’s impassioned school board address went viral after the moderator cut her off before her two minutes were up and tried to introduce the next speaker.

Books that mother Stacy Langton objected to having in her son’s public school.
The two books she complained about – “Lawn Boy” by Jonathan Evison and “Gender Queer” by Maia Kobabe – were taken off the library’s shelves pending a review, The Fairfax Times reported last month.
Attorney General Merrick Garland came under fire early last month after issuing a memo tasking the FBI with probing what he called a disturbing spike in harassment and threats of violence against school leaders and teachers.
GARLAND DENIES DOJ LABELLING PARENTS AS DOMESTIC TERRORISTS
The announcement followed a letter from the National School Boards Association to President Biden calling the alleged increase in violence and threats against public school officials a form of “domestic terrorism.”
Langton told Fox News that since speaking out publicly she and her family have received countless threats.
“I’m not getting a lot of sleep right now, nobody’s sleeping in my house because we can’t be sure that we’re safe,” she said.
Langton and the Fairfax County School couldn’t immediately be reached for comment.’ https://www.foxnews.com/us/virginia-mom-barred-son-public-school-library-books’
