Well, well, well. It looks as though the left’s celebrated COVID-19 vaccine is not nearly as effective as they have sold it to be to the American people.
Is anyone surprised by this? Probably not anyone reading this article.
Vermont has the highest vaccination rate of any state in the United States, yet, they are currently experiencing a surge in COVID cases not seen since the peak of last winter.
The number of cases in Vermont has hit record level and hospitalizations are close to the records hit last winter. What’s more, the state hit the deadliest day and second deadliest day of the pandemic just last month.
First the federal government led by fraud Fauci said that the vaccines would stop people from getting COVID. Biden himself said that the people who got the vaccines would not be able to contract the virus.

Making money is NOT a hard pill to swallow! ‘Yes, molnupiravir – a pill to treat Covid – seems to reduce hospitalizations and deaths, assuming Merck’s press release from last week holds up.
But it is yet another story of the US health care system and drug development gone awry.
A Miami hedge-fund manager and his wife – Wayne and Wendy Holman – are likely to make hundreds of millions of dollars, possibly billions, on it – and they took almost no risk. They basically got in the way of Merck licensing it from Emory University, where taxpayers had paid for its early development (this is how we make drugs in the United States, friends).
Added bonus: almost 20 years ago, Wendy Holman, who at the time had a different husband and a different last name, saw her name pop up in the same insider trading scandal that ensnared Martha Stewart. It too involved a drug company.
(Wendy Commins Blake aka Holman denied wrongdoing, was never charged, and eventually married Wayne Holman. A few years later the newlyweds found their way to Miami’s Star Island, where they bought a mansion for $28.8 million and the one next to it for $18 million. You read that right.)

The Washington Post had an long piece on the ugly little story of Ridgeback in June 2020. But now that Uncle Joe is president and not the Orange Man, the Post tries not to write anything that might reduce your confidence in Big, Medium, or Small Pharma (and by extension vaccines).

Here’s the lead of the Post piece:
“Ridgeback Biotherapeutics had no laboratories, no manufacturing facility of its own and a minimal track record when it struck a deal in March with Emory University to license an experimental coronavirus pill invented by university researchers with $16 million in grants from U.S. taxpayers.”
By May, Ridgeback had sold the rights to molnupiravir to Merck for “an undisclosed upfront payment, specified milestones and a share of the net proceeds of EIDD-2801 and related molecules, if approved.”
Neither Merck nor Ridgeback has ever disclosed how much Merck paid Ridgeback, nor the royalty rates on the drug. But Merck has said it plans to charge $700 for a course of molnupiravir in the United States and that it expects to produce 10 MILLION courses by year-end 2021, implying $7 billion in sales within months. (Forbes reports the actual cost of the drug is under $20 per course, based on what Indian manufacturers plan to charge.)

Merck has added about $20 billion in market capitalization since it announced the results.
But the real winners are the Holmans. Their royalty rate is based on “net profits,” per Merck’s 10-K – though Merck does not disclose how those will be calculated, or what the rate is. For simplicity’s sake, let’s assume $600 of the $700 Merck is charging will be net profit (this is probably low).
If the Holmans are receiving a 5 percent royalty, they will make $300 million from this year’s courses alone; 10 percent would net them $600 million; and 15 percent $900 million.
How much will they actually make?

‘Based on a clinical trial that SHOWED PRECISELY NO EVIDENCE of actual health benefit for the children who received it.
In other words, what Pfizer demonstrated in its 2,300-patient child trial is that its mRNA doses can make your kids make spike proteins (and have side effects).
Per Pfizer’s September 20 press release announcing the trial’s results, the trial didn’t show the vaccine reduced hospitalizations (which are basically non-existent in healthy children) or even mild cases.
See where the release says the vaccine did anything to help kids stay healthier?
No? That’s because it doesn’t.
But it did reveal “side effects generally comparable to those observed in participants 16 to 25 years of age” – in other words, (sometimes severe) headaches, fatigue, and fever. Clinically significant myocarditis? Who knows? With barely 1,000 boys receiving the vaccine, even fairly common side effects could go unnoticed.

Still, as it warned/promised, Pfizer has now formally asked the Food & Drug Administration to approve (I mean authorize, but let’s not go down that rabbit hole) its Covid shots for the little ones.

What is interesting in the following is that six days after receiving the second Pfizer jab this aboriginal man died. However, he wasn’t said to have died of covid or the jabs but of a heart attack! Mr. Bevan Costello, known as Uncle Bevan Costello in his community, received his second Pfizer mRNA injection on or around September 9 at a local pop-up event, according to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC). He told ABC that many of his fellow Wakka Wakka tribe members were hesitant to receive the injections due to “misunderstanding of the information, mostly on social media.”
ABC reported that Cherbourg, an aboriginal settlement with about 1,200 residents, was only 4.6% fully-vaccinated as of September 9. Uncle Bevan said in the televised interview below that he’s more confident now that he’s fully vaccinated. He also said he was diabetic and that the vaccine should protect him if he gets COVID-19.
Details about Uncle Bevan’s death are scant. But the Cherbourg Aboriginal Shire Council Facebook page made two announcements six hours apart about his death on September 14 and 15 Queensland time. The first says it was a “sudden passing.” The second describes it as a “sudden death.” The two posts garnered a total of 339 comments and over 1,500 engagements as of writing, by far the two most popular most on the channel since at least June.
The Council also re-posted several photos and updates from the Darling Downs Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Facebook page. The photos show individuals receiving injections at the three-day event that Uncle Bevan received his injection.
None of the posts mention that Uncle Bevan received the Pfizer shots. ABC reported that he died of a heart attack.

Uncle Bevan assisted magistrates at the Murri Court to help them understand aboriginal people and culture. ‘Most people who have been infected with SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, will carry antibodies for at least a year, according to a recent peer-reviewed study.
The European Journal of Immunology accepted a study on Sept. 24 from scientists at the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare, who studied 1,292 subjects eight months after infection for the presence of antibodies.
Their findings included 96% of subjects still carrying neutralizing antibodies and 66% with the nucleoprotein IgG antibody.
After randomly selecting 367 subjects from the original cohort who were not yet vaccinated a year following infection, the scientists found that 89% of subjects still had neutralizing antibodies, and 36% with the IgG antibody.
Subjects who had experienced a severe SARS-CoV-2 infection had higher antibody levels, anywhere from two to seven times as many antibodies as those with mild infections at least 13 months after contracting the disease.
While the antibodies provide lasting protection against the original SARS-CoV-2 virus, their neutralization efficiency against the Alpha, Beta, and Delta variants decreased over time.
The neutralizing antibodies “were only slightly reduced” in the Alpha variant and “considerably declined” in the Beta variant. However, “over 80% of the subjects who had recovered from severe” SARS-CoV-2 infection still had neutralizing antibodies against the Delta variant a year after being infected.
Nature Medicine published a study in May that found “that neutralization level is highly predictive of immune protection” against SARS-CoV-2.
