How in the world did we get to the place where these social media giants became guardians of what they believe is the TRUTH? Yes, ‘YouTube has temporarily suspended Sen. Ron Johnson again over COVID-19 “misinformation.” This time, he was suspended over remarks about COVID deaths and vaccine injuries.
“The updated figures today are 17,619,” Johnson said. “That is 225 times the number of deaths in just a 10-month period versus an annual figure for the flu vaccine. These vaccine injuries are real.”
Critics of the Biden administration guidelines surrounding the pandemic, like Sen. Johnson, often claim the government exaggerates the number of deaths and also claim that the government suppresses the deaths caused by the vaccines.
In a statement, a YouTube spokesperson said: “We craft our policies to reduce the risk of real-world harm, updating them as official guidance evolves, and we consider the context of a video to make exceptions that balance open discussion of people’s experiences with preventing the spread of harmful misinformation.”
YouTube added that a shorter version of the video that does not contain the controversial remarks is still available.
Following the ban, Sen. Johnson released a statement accusing Big Tech of censoring the truth:
“Once again Big Tech is censoring the truth. Why won’t they let the vaccine injured tell their stories and medical experts give a second opinion? Why can’t we discuss the harmful effects of mandates? Apparently, the Biden administration and federal health agencies must not be questioned. How many more lives will be needlessly destroyed?”
The conservative senator has previously been suspended from YouTube for claiming hydroxychloroquine is an effective treatment for COVID-19. In response to the ban at the time, he said:
“YouTube’s ongoing COVID censorship proves they have accumulated too much unaccountable power.”’https://reclaimthenet.org/youtube-censors-senator-ron-johnson-again/

Not surprisingly, ‘Facebook, Twitter and other big tech companies actually want standardized Internet speech regulations. In fact, Facebook has been spending millions of dollars on ads that openly call for more government regulation of speech on the Internet. You can view an example of what I am talking about right here. At first glance, it may seem odd that Facebook wants more government regulation of the tech industry, but it actually makes perfect sense. If the federal government is the one making the rules, Facebook and the other big tech companies can legally censor you into oblivion without ever having to worry about any legal consequences. And then because all other social media platforms in existence will have to follow the exact same rules, there will be nowhere else for you to turn. There won’t be any “free speech alternatives” to Facebook and Twitter, because all of those “alternatives” will be forced to apply the same speech standards that Facebook and Twitter and applying.’http://endoftheamericandream.com/
‘Facebook’s parent company Meta has launched a program to “support” journalism in New Zealand and has made a new commitment to managing “defamation.”
The aim of the program is presented as a way to help media organizations in New Zealand create sustainable business models.
The program includes a Grant Fund, Audience Development Accelerator, the creation of a News Innovation Advisory Group, and the provision of digital training focused on engagement for news organizations.
According to Facebook’s head of public policy for Australia and New Zealand Mia Garlick, the program will involve 12 media organizations with regionally, culturally, and digitally diverse publications. The idea is that these organizations will “come together and try to innovate and learn from experts and really collaborate on new strategies to drive business growth both on and off Facebook.”
Garlick said that the International Center for Journalists would help establish the advisory group.
“What we’re really trying to do now is trying to recognize that the goal in New Zealand is to support a sustainable and diverse and robust ecosystem, and so we want to make sure that we’re offering different solutions for publishers, no matter where they are in their digital transformation journey,” Garlick said.
Garlick denied that the New Zealand journalism program is not a way to keep media organizations from demanding deals such as those afforded to Australian media houses and she also made a commitment to helping news outlets censor “potentially litigious” comments.
There were several strategies to prevent “false comments” being posted, Garlick said, according to RNZ.
The other aspect mentioned by the announcement was that Facebook was committed to help all page administrators to “better moderate” their comments.
“So what we did in March this year is that we released a tool that allows page owners, including publishers to be able to [turn] off comments on a post on a per post basis,” Garlick said.
“Facebook removed harmful health information relating to Covid-19 and vaccine issues, plus page administrators had the ability to set their own custom filters,” the report states, adding that “Facebook had been working with health experts around the world and in New Zealand to find out what were the claims that were harmful and should be removed in relation to Covid-19”
“We invest significant resources in making sure that we’re removing those and then we invest in fact checkers and we have fact checkers working across New Zealand as well, and when they rank content as false, including Covid and vaccine misinformation, then that will reduce in its distribution and people are notified that they’ve shared misinformation,” Garlick said.’https://reclaimthenet.org/facebook-partners-with-new-zealand-media-for-funding-censorship/
‘There were some fine words from the Prime Minister, Scott Morrison, this week when he spoke in Melbourne to a Victorian Chamber of Commerce event attended mainly by small business owners. Apparently there are still some left in that long-suffering city, home to the longest-lasting lockdowns in the world and easily the most draconian Covid restrictions in the Western world. After some typically Morrisonian ‘how good is Australia’ blather about getting your hair cut or meeting friends at the pub, he finally got to the point. ‘The taste of freedom,’ he announced; a sentence without a verb as if it were the title of a new book or movie. ‘It must never be taken from us again. That is why I put the national plan together. A plan based on the best possible medical science and economics to ensure we open safely and stay safely open. Australians have kept their side of this deal by getting vaccinated. Governments must now keep theirs and return to Australians their freedoms.’
Full marks for the sentiment. But the detail of his comments reveals the disappointing fact that our Prime Minister not only doesn’t understand the true concept of freedom, but worse, is trying to excuse and paper over the gaping black hole of genuine leadership that has engulfed the nation these last eighteen months.
Let’s start with the taste of freedom. Rather than being an ancient concept that millions of humans have died so that others may experience and cherish it, Mr Morrison instead sees freedom as akin to a new brand of Vegemite or a new Aussie beer (mid-strength, obviously). In the Morrison world view, freedom is as you-beaut-ripper as a Kingswood station wagon packed with the kids heading down to the coast for the summer hols (and about as irritating). Freedom is as convenient and as comfy as your favourite pair of tracksuit pants and thongs (and just as easily discarded).
Morrison’s ‘freedom’ is ‘part of who we are’, much in the same way that a burnt snag at a Bunnings sausage sizzle is.
And as such – and this is the disturbing bit – freedom is actually something the government manufactures, that the government owns and that the government will give you if you’ve been a good boy or a good girl. Indeed, in the Prime Minister’s mind, freedom is very much and very explicitly a bargaining chip. A token in a game of viral tiddlywinks. Freedom in exchange for being vaccinated.
That is a dangerous precedent. Freedom should be the inalienable right of every law-abiding Australian regardless of their health status. The Prime Minister, several months ago, claimed that the vaccines would not be mandatory. Although that may be technically correct in the most legalistic sense, the stark reality is that for the time being to all intents and purposes Covid vaccines are mandatory in Australia. Therefore the Prime Minister has broken his own word either through neglect or on purpose.
Depressingly, NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet has retreated on his own fine words that freedom was not a gift of any government, and now that he is in power has similarly using denial of freedoms and social isolation as forms of punishment by arbitrarily extending restrictions on the unvaccinated by a fortnight.
Then comes the prime ministerial non-sequitur, and it’s a real doozy. Mr Morrison claims that he put his much-prized ‘national plan’ together in order to ensure that our freedoms will ‘never be taken from us again’. That’s quite the claim! In fact, the self-stated purpose of the national plan was to ‘relink the states’ and ‘connect Australia to the world’. Nothing in there about ensuring our freedoms would ‘never be taken from us again’. In order to achieve that noble goal, the Prime Minister will have to do what he should have done last year when he was offered the chance (you only get one Clive Palmer in your lifetime) to challenge the Constitutional legality of closed borders. That would have been one crucial step towards guaranteeing the permanence and inalienability of individual freedoms. Another would be to legislate – as has been done by the Republican governor of Florida, Ron de Santis – to make it illegal under Australia’s human rights laws to discriminate against any Australian citizen within this country based on their vaccination status.
So – no, Prime Minister, your national plan was not designed to ensure that the taste of freedom will never be taken from us again. That might sound good in the research focus groups, but it is a lie. Australians, and in particular Australian businesses, have no guarantee that their freedoms won’t be ripped from them again the moment that, for example, a new variant of the virus should appear, or even a new virus pops out again from a bowl of bat soup or any other delicacy being conveniently served up adjacent to a Chinese bio-weapons lab, or the efficacy of vaccines wears off or, for whatever reason, the public decides against immunisation boosters or other such measures.
Having ignored freedom when we needed it the Prime Minister is now waving it around on the eve an election. Australians may currently have the illusion of ‘freedom’ but, like that family trip to the coast, we’re definitely not there yet.’https://spectator.com.au/2021/11/are-we-free-yet/?utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=MDS%20%2020211111%20%20SG&utm_content=MDS%20%2020211111%20%20SG+CID_f41c9caec8be7507b2ab2d14a2008fca&utm_source=CampaignMonitor_Australia&utm_term=Are%20we%20free%20yet
Victoria, Australia is a left Marxist leaning Australian state controlled by Premier Dan Andrews. Now, a Victorian Correctional Officer is speaking out. Yes, ‘Gavin is putting his career on the line to SPEAK OUT!

The Government is NOT the Parent! Parents are responsible for their children including their education and what they read! However, in the state of Virginia BIG government has assumed they are in charge. Well, here is one woman that let them know they aren’t!
‘A Virginia mother has been blocked from entering her son’s public high school library weeks after she complained about books in the collection being pornographic, according to a new report.
Stacy Langton told the Washington Examiner Monday that Fairfax Principal Maureen Keck told her she was not allowed to enter the library anymore.’
Langton’s impassioned school board address went viral after the moderator cut her off before her two minutes were up and tried to introduce the next speaker.

Books that mother Stacy Langton objected to having in her son’s public school.
The two books she complained about – “Lawn Boy” by Jonathan Evison and “Gender Queer” by Maia Kobabe – were taken off the library’s shelves pending a review, The Fairfax Times reported last month.
Attorney General Merrick Garland came under fire early last month after issuing a memo tasking the FBI with probing what he called a disturbing spike in harassment and threats of violence against school leaders and teachers.
GARLAND DENIES DOJ LABELLING PARENTS AS DOMESTIC TERRORISTS
The announcement followed a letter from the National School Boards Association to President Biden calling the alleged increase in violence and threats against public school officials a form of “domestic terrorism.”
Langton told Fox News that since speaking out publicly she and her family have received countless threats.
“I’m not getting a lot of sleep right now, nobody’s sleeping in my house because we can’t be sure that we’re safe,” she said.
Langton and the Fairfax County School couldn’t immediately be reached for comment.’ https://www.foxnews.com/us/virginia-mom-barred-son-public-school-library-books’
