‘All would agree that life is precious – all, that is, except liberal-minded politicians and evolutionary-thinking scientists. Their lives are precious to them, but no one else’s is, especially those who cannot protect themselves, like the unborn (abortion) and the elderly (euthanasia).
Is abortion a sin? Is it murder? The answers for any Christian depend solely on what God’s Word says about it. According to the creator of life and the foremost authority on life, life begins at conception. A human being is a human being the instant that first fertilized cell comes into existence. At that point, everything about the one to be born nine months later is intact: all
the genes and chromosomes that will develop into a fully viable body of flesh.
According to Hosea 9:11, Ephraim was a living creation “from the birth, and from the womb, and from the conception.” Not only are we human beings when we are born and take our first breath of air, but also while we are developing in the womb. But that is not far enough back. We are fully human “from the conception.” From birth, i.e., from the first breath of air; from the womb, i.e., from the forming of the body; from conception, i.e., from the very moment life begins, we are fully human.
In the womb, God is actively forming our bodies (Jer. 1:5; Psa. 139: 13-16). Then abortion is a direct and deliberate
interference with the work of God.
That same verse in Hosea mentions Ephraim’s glory, and says it “shall fly away.” How will it fly away? In the same
chapter (v.13) we are told that Ephraim “shall bring forth children to the murderer.” Is that not what mothers the world over
are doing, even some Christian mothers?
Babies are human from their conception, but many people do not consider their unborn children to be human. The
unborn are viewed as just a blob of protoplasm with no real value before birth. In the Roe versus Wade case, U.S. Supreme
Court Justice Harry Blackmun said that until viability, the state has no compelling interest in protecting the fetus. (Viability
means able to survive outside the womb.) (We also object to the scientific terms “fetus” and “embryo.” Such words dehumanize unborn babies, promoting the idea that there is something there, but it is not yet human.)
May we say in passing that abortion, the deliberate murder of unborn children, is just as heinous as what Dr. Josef Mengele (called the Angel of Death) did to countless children (and adults) in the Nazi Auschwitz death camp. Some abortion techniques would rival some of Mengele’s cruel methods. One record of Mengele’s dealings with children states, “…afflicted children were killed so that their preserved heads and organs could be sent to the SS Medical Academy in Graz and other facilities for study.” Sounds
like some of the atrocities done to aborted babies in the name of scientific research, such as embryonic stem cell research. (To quote “science”: “To obtain embryonic stem cells, the early embryo has to be destroyed.”
Ephraim’s glory, mentioned in Hosea 9:11, is the glory of human life (Psa. 8:5). The more we sin (murdering babies
in this discussion), the more God turns that glory into shame (Hos. 4:7). Isaiah wondered what we will do in the day God visits
our sin (Isa. 10:3), and asks, “where will ye leave your glory?” Could we say in this context that our human glory will be left
in the trashcan of aborted babies!
So, let’s answer the questions. Is abortion murder, that is, the deliberate taking of a human life? Yes, it is. Then is
abortion a sin? Yes, it is.
What if the mother’s life is at risk, would God not allow murdering the baby in such a case? Actually, the risk of a
mother’s life during pregnancy is about 1%, per pro-abortion UCLA Professor of Obstetrics Dr. Irving Cushner. In a multistate survey of why women obtain abortions, of the 1.3 million surveyed women who had had abortions, only 1.03% replied
that it was to protect their lives. So much for the scarecrow of threat to the life of the mother.
Interestingly, Alan Guttmacher of Planned Parenthood and great promoter of abortion on demand said, “Today it is
possible for almost any patient to be brought through pregnancy alive, unless she suffers from a fatal disease such as cancer or
leukemia, and if so, abortion would be unlikely to prolong, much less save the life.”
Or, consider this statement by Dr. Bernard Nathanson, American Bioethics Advisory Commission: “There are no
conceivable clinical situations today where abortion is necessary to save the life of the mother. In fact, if her health is threatened
and an abortion is performed, the abortion increases risks the mother will incur regarding her health.”
There is only one purpose for abortion, to end the life of the child. Thus, all other reasons or logic are nonsense.
We all know the Catholic Church stands against abortion. While we do not stand with the Catholic Church, a statement
by Pope Pius XI, spoken decades before abortion was legalized, is appropriate. He said, “However we may pity the mother
whose health and even life is imperiled by the performance of her natural duty, there yet remains no sufficient reason for
condoning the direct murder of the innocent.”
Well, what about a victim of rape? Should not the woman be allowed an abortion? Again, the numbers are miniscule,
only .39% due to rape or incest. Even those numbers have been proven to be greatly exaggerated. Under the Pennsylvania
Abortion Control Act, records stated that many women admitted they were reporting rapes just to justify getting an abortion.
People in authority have even promoted such lying. Congresswoman Nita Lowey, trying to get federal funding for abortions,
said, “I’d tell my constituents, ‘Send a letter. Say you were raped. Say it was incest. Say you have heart disease.’”
We do not belittle the fact that there are real women who suffer the trauma of rape and then discover they are with child from it. Even so, abortion is still murder. Could not the victim have the unwanted child and give it over for adoption, rather than having it
murdered? Many rape victims blame themselves. Adding abortion will only increase their remorse. And think of this. Those who cry so loudly about having a rape-conceived child aborted, say nothing or little about the rapist. Do they not know that God’s law requires a rapist to be executed? (See Deut. 22:25-27.)
The pro-abortion Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice says that pro-lifers must never condone a single
abortion and must never apologize for fighting abortions due to rape and incest. They said, “Opponents of abortion rights walk
a fine line within their own movement when they condone any abortion. Based on their own definition, they are guilty of being
accessories to ‘murder’ in certain circumstances by accepting rape and incest exceptions.” Why can’t Christians see that
connection?
While rape and incest are horrible crimes (sin) against innocent victims, there are many famous people who were not
aborted when their mothers were victims (and certainly many, many more who are not famous). The well-known Gospel singer,
Ethel Waters was the result of rape when her mother was only 12 years old. Eartha Kitt, Zahara Jolie-Pitt, Jesse Jackson, Layne
Beachley, Janet Sheen, and many others came into this world because their mothers were victims of rape or incest. (We are not
condoning any of those named. They are noted only to make the point that abortion destroys future lives and future
accomplishments.)
The sixth commandment, “Thou shaly not kill” (Exo. 20:13), should settle the matter once and for all for all Christians. When Jesus reworded that commandment, He defined the word “kill” as “murder” (Matt. 19:18). Murder is defined as the unlawful killing of a person especially with malice aforethought. (That definition eliminates warfare, self-defence, and legal execution as being murder.) God’s decree for violating that commandment is: “Whoso killeth any person, the murderer shall be put to death…” (Num. 35:30).
May we Christians stand firmly against murder of any kind, including abortion and euthanasia.’ http://www.gcbi.org/Article3.pdf

‘Why does the death lobby get away with promoting suicide?
The World Health Organisation published a resource for media professionals with protocols for responsible reporting of suicide deaths to prevent suicide and suicide contagion. The quick reference in the WHO media guidelines for preventing suicide states:
- Provide accurate information about where to seek help
- Educate the public about the facts of suicide and suicide prevention, without spreading myths Report stories of how to cope with life stressors or suicidal thoughts, and how to get help
- Apply caution when reporting celebrity suicides
- Apply caution when interviewing bereaved family or friends
- Recognize that media professionals themselves may be affected by stories about suicide
- Do not place stories about suicide prominently and do not unduly repeat such stories
- Do not use language which sensationalizes or normalizes suicide, or presents it as a constructive solution to problems
- Do not explicitly describe the method used
- Do not provide details about the site/location
- Do not use sensational headlines
- Do not use photographs, video footage or social media links
Data shows where euthanasia or assisted suicide have been legalised the suicide rates increase.
Promoting assisted suicide or the expansion of these laws while in fact they are promoting suicide, whether they are assisted or not, are denigrating the life of people with disabilities and/or the elderly.’https://familyvoice.org.au/news/why-is-the-euthanasia-lobby-promoting-suicide
Genesis 9:6 Whoso sheddeth man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.
Our New South Wales state government has locked us down and pushed being vaccinated for months until one could literally SCREAM! These elected public servants are doing all this to keep us safe and healthy! Yet, in a a few weeks these same officials will be listening to a bill that seeks to take the life of the very citizens they have proclaimed they care so much about! The MP that is promoting this voluntary murder of oneself is Alex Greenwich who of course is also a climate change believer and LGBTQI promoter https://www.alexgreenwich.com/. Mr. Greenwich undoubtedly doesn’t believe a person will live eternally after death or that their Creator inhabits eternity; Isaiah 57:15 For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
One does have to feel sorry for these who believe they are doing “good” in sending people out into eternity without realizing they and those they sent to their early death will someday ‘stand before God’ and ‘cast into the lake of fire‘ which ‘is the second death.’
Nevertheless, for now ‘Independent MP Alex Greenwich’s assisted suicide bill will be tabled in Parliament on 12 October 2021. It includes the following:
- Assisted suicide can be suggested by medical practitioners.
- Approval for assisted suicide can be as short as 5 business days.
- Communication for the first and final request for assisted suicide can be done via telehealth. This is a breach of the Federal Criminal code which states that it is an offence to use any form of electronic communication to publish, counsel or incite committing or attempting to commit suicide.
- Faith-based hospitals and nursing homes must allow all stages of the assisted suicide process on their premises for permanent residents.
- Faith-based hospitals must allow VAD navigators into hospitals to provide information to persons relating to voluntary assisted dying.
- Psychologist referral is not required if a person is suffering from mental illness. The referral is only mandatory to assess a person’s capacity, pressure or duress.
Ultimately, the bill has detailed instructions to educate a generation of medical practitioners on how to take life instead preserving it. 1Corinthians 15:26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. Death doesn’t end it no matter what these politicians think. Death is another door into another world. One door leads to hell and the other to Heaven. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me John 14:6. The Jesus way leads to Heaven. In spite of that the Australian state of ‘Queensland has become the fifth state to pass voluntary assisted dying laws after a marathon week of debating on the highly sensitive bill.
The gallery wings at state parliament broke into a rapturous applause on Thursday evening when the widely supported landmark legislation was finally confirmed, following hours of emotional speeches this week and years of heart-wrenching campaigning.
“No words,” said a tear-soaked Fiona Jacobs, a nurse who has committed years advocating for the right for the terminally ill to be given power after watching her own mother die a painful death.
“It’s fantastic. It has been a long time coming, but we’ve got there in the end.”
Recent polls found Queenslanders overwhelmingly approved euthanasia being available and that support translated to the floor of parliament, with 61 MPs voting in support, compared to just 30 against.’https://www.news.com.au/lifestyle/health/queensland-parliament-passes-voluntaryassisted-dying-legislation-most-extreme-in-australia/news-story/f99dab89b146d59c6fd6538b902a9949
Oh, and this bill is passed when the Australian politicians are locking down their citizens to KEEP THEM HEALTHY AND SAFE from the China virus! Yeah, this makes a LOT of sense!
Life isn’t worth much to some! ‘An Australian nurse who refered to herself as the “angel of death” lost her nursing license on March 19 but will unlikely face criminal charges.
On March 10, the Queensland (Australia) Civil And Administrative Tribunal of the nursing and midwifery board of australia, in the Bannister case decided to:
disqualify her from applying for registration as a health practitioner for a period of two years from the date of this decision, and
prohibit, under the National Law s 196(4), from providing any health service for a period of two years from the date of this decision.
An article by Lydia Lynch published in the Brisbane Times stated:
Maura Kathryn Bannister, 60, administered an unprescribed dose of morphine to an elderly and frail family friend who was receiving palliative care at home after a fall.
Knowing the woman had already taken one dose or morphine that morning, Ms Bannister then gave another dose “greater than that prescribed, without any direction from the general practitioner to do so”.
“Thereafter she did not render or arrange medical assistance for the lady, who passed away later that morning,” the findings read.
Lynch reports that Bannister referred to herself as the “angel of death” and stated that she was proud of what she had done.
The New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM) (August 3, 2017) published a Netherlands study titled: End-of-Life Decisions in the Netherlands over 25 years.
The study indicates that in 2015 there were 7254 assisted deaths (6672 euthanasia deaths, 150 assisted suicide deaths, 431 terminations of life without request) in the Netherlands. The Netherlands euthanasia law did not prevent 431 terminations of life without request.
The euthanasia lobby will argue that legalizing euthanasia and assisted suicide will regulate and prevent these types of deaths, but in fact it normalizes it as an acceptable medical practise and makes it impossible to prevent or even censure someone who carries out similar acts.’https://familyvoice.org.au/news/australian-nurse-angel-of-death-will-not-face-criminal-charges-for-killing-a-patient-but-loses-nursing-license-for-two-years
We have only been to New Zealand once and have thought it would be nice to go again but that has now changed. Why? New Zealand is now the land led by one of the most Leftist Loony Climate scamming Muslim loving governments in the Western world. Therefore, after this last New Zealand election ‘It’s a tough call on which was more predictable; Jacinda Arden’s victory, or the sickeningly smug reaction from the left.
Credit where credit’s due. The landslide victory puts the Labour Party in a position of tremendous strength, having won enough support to govern alone. The party scored its strongest result in 50 years.
That said, reports still say, “it remains likely that she will reach out to the left-wing Green Party to form a coalition government.”
Ahead, Kiwis are set to decide on two landmark social issues; legalising recreational marijuana and whether to legalise euthanasia.
So, New Zealand now looks set to head even further to the left and become one of the most liberal countries in the world.
Basically, NZ is on track to become The Netherlands of the southern hemisphere.
All of this was just too exciting for the loud left on Twitter. One wrote:

The only thing missing from this tweet was the vomit emoji.
Presumably, she’s alluding to Jacinda-style kindness of our very own Dan Andrews, who has snapped at women like Peta Credlin and Rachel Baxendale who have stepped up to hold him to account?
Or is she referring to his “intelligence” and “compassion” with regard to astute decision-making on behalf of small businesses, which are now going under across Victoria?
The #IStandWithDan sheep on the left desperately want Andrews to be as popular in Australia here as Jacinda is in NZ.
It’s not going to happen.
The left-leaning media around the globe may have successfully promoted her to Saint Jacinda; the woman who is single-handedly putting other leaders to shame, but she has intense challenges ahead.
Her success handling COVID and her response to the Christchurch massacre may well have blinded the public to the facts.
Left-wing media doesn’t want to talk about harsh lockdown laws, a shattered tourism industry, plunging house prices, struggling export industry, or widespread, wild unemployment.
Being a woman of the left, with a distractingly dazzling smile, who took maternity leave does not equal a triumphant policy agenda.
Make no mistake, Saint Jacinda’s halo is shaky.
She has some fierce economic challenges ahead.’https://spectator.com.au/2020/10/the-lord-of-the-rings-was-filmed-there-now-kiwis-have-voted-to-make-the-whole-country-fantasyland/
When politicians make laws on whether one lives or dies you had better get worried. Abortion of a human baby has never be abhorrent for the Leftist or the evolutionist. Now, euthanasia is being pushed as a HUMAN RIGHT! Here in Australia ‘In the same week that Stevie Nicks boasted there would have been no Fleetwood Mac had she not aborted her baby, Queensland Premier Anastacia Palaszczuk has vowed to legalise assisted dying.
Stevie Nicks confirmed what honest people have always known – that, despite the fog pro-abortionists like to create, abortion destroys human life for the convenience of others.
She told The Guardian she had conceived a child with The Eagles singer Don Henley in 1979 but that “there’s just no way that I could have had a child then, working as hard as we worked constantly.”
“I knew that the music we were going to bring to the world was going to heal so many people’s hearts and make people so happy. And I thought: you know what? That’s really important.”
So Stevie Nicks had an abortion.
As Fleetwood Mac famously sang, “Loving you isn’t the right thing to do. How can I ever change things that I feel. You can go your own way.”
Freed from the inconvenience of a child, she went on to sell more than 120 million records and to be twice inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
“If I had not had that abortion, I’m pretty sure there would have been no Fleetwood Mac,” she said.
And we all thought the cost of a Fleetwood Mac album was around $20.
When you feel no shame admitting that you judged the life of your unborn child to be of less value than the possibility of a pop music career, you are acknowledging that our culture has crossed a moral line.
But our obsession with individual autonomy – celebrated by Stevie Nicks – is something that should give Queenslander’s reason for pause as Labor promises to legalise euthanasia.
If people applaud Stevie Nicks for judging another human’s life worth sacrificing for a Grammy Award, what is to stop those same people judging our lives worth sacrificing for their own peculiar reasons?
This is not a question the Queensland Premier wants anyone to seriously consider which is why she waited until the middle of a pandemic and just two weeks before the state election to announce her euthanasia policy.
Better for voters to feel rather than think when it comes to euthanasia. And what better time to feel the argument for death than after suffering for months at the hands of a stubborn virus and soul-destroying lockdowns.
The argument for euthanasia derives its emotional power from the picture painted of a terminally ill patient with nothing but intense suffering standing between him and death.
The picture is largely false since there are ways to manage pain for the terminally ill.
Moreover, there are many people in discomfort – physical or emotional – but who are not terminal. Are they to be denied the permanent relief euthanasia provides for want of a terminal illness? But I digress.
The euthanasia candidate will be in a diminished physical condition and probably frightened or despairing, or both. All of which means that his will and his capacity for independent thought will also be weakened.
He will be flat on his back with his relatives and the authority figure of the doctor looking down at him. There can be few better subjects and settings for subtle or not-so-subtle psychological coercion.
The patient will know and will probably be informed that prolonging his life – which the physician says will be brief – places an enormous emotional and financial burden on his family. Many people in this position are likely to accept premature death under coercion.
This is what progressives call “death with dignity”.
There is also the very real prospect that some people who request euthanasia are really looking for reassurance that they are loved and valued despite their physical decline. If the family and the doctor fail to pick up on this, the patient may become trapped by the request and feel that he or she has no choice but to die.
Is this the autonomy of the patient that euthanasia supporters insist is their object?
The systematic killing of unborn children in huge numbers is part of a general disregard for human life that has been growing for some time. Abortion on its own did not cause the disregard, but it certainly deepens and legitimates the nihilism that is spreading in our culture and that finds killing for convenience acceptable.
We crossed lines, at first slowly and now rapidly. We killed unborn children for convenience and harvested their foetal tissue – for science of course – all the while calling it “reproductive health”.
As Stevie Nicks would sing: “Tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies.”
Abortion has coarsened us.
If it is permissible to kill the unborn human for convenience, it is surely permissible to kill those thought to be soon to die for the same reason.
And it is inevitable that many who are not in danger of imminent death will be killed to ease their families of burden.
Convenience has, for some time, been the central theme of our culture. Humans tend to be inconvenient at both ends of their lives.’https://spectator.com.au/2020/10/anastacia-palaszczuks-euthanasia-pledge-and-the-culture-of-killing-for-convenience/
The Left is quick to take another’s life whether it is a newborn or an elderly person. Their compassion is about as long as the hair on a totally bald man! This insanity must be stopped and it begins at the ballot box.
True Christianity sees the value of life. These parasites are following Hitler and his crowd to the T. These are the REAL NAZIS and their camps are the Planned Parenthood clinics and numerous hospitals.
