Government-mandated subsidies for wind and solar represent the greatest wealth transfer since England’s ‘Bad’ King John sought to tax himself to ultimate power and his enemies out of existence. His description as “avaricious, miserly, extortionate and moneyminded” applies with equal force to today’s crony capitalist kings – the renewable energy rent seekers.
Had King John known of mandated renewable energy targets, extortionate taxpayer funded subsidies, production tax credits, renewable energy certificates, etc, he would have, no doubt, taken delight in applying them to his fiscal advantage. His Reign ended with his death in 1216, with economic chaos, poverty and disease stalking the land.
That was then. This is now. But, for the poor, times haven’t changed all that much, in relative terms.

This climate change cry is not only a scam but a LIE!!!!

Despite calling for rapid reduction in CO2 emissions, the left is rushing green industrialization which will dramatically increase emissions for the foreseeable future. This obvious absurdity has yet to be admitted.
On the one hand, there is growing literature on the enormous material requirements required for building huge numbers of wind and solar power generating systems. Combining these two factors means CO2 emissions should rise, not fall, as green industrialization proceeds. Both factors are ignored, but both are big. The energy transition increases emissions. It is that simple.

George Soros’ self-proclaimed “‘more political’” heir to his radical empire has his own track record of political activism that reeks of a potentially worse Soros sequel.
The Wall Street Journal released its latest interview with the recently crowned Open Society Foundations Chairman Alexander Soros headlined: “George Soros Hands Control to His 37-Year-Old Son: ‘I’m More Political.’”
According to The Journal’s summary, Alexander is focused on “broadening his father’s liberal aims—‘We think alike,’ the elder Soros said—while embracing some different causes. Those include voting and abortion rights, as well as gender equity.” In addition, “[Alexander] plans to continue using the family’s deep pockets to back left-leaning U.S. politicians.”
If Alexander’s mission is to generate a steroids-injected version of his father’s multibillion-dollar agenda defined by anti-Americanism, Marxist economics, climate change extremism, abortion-on-demand and racial strife, then America is in for a scary ride.
