To save the earth is worth a whale or two!
By David Wojick, Ph.D. ~
The massive offshore wind (OSW) project proposed by Dominion Energy may pose a serious threat to the endangered North Atlantic Right Whale population. A comprehensive environmental impact assessment is required to determine the extent of this threat and the mitigation it might require. The same is true for the other proposed Mid-Atlantic OSW projects.
The North Atlantic Right Whale is reported to be the world’s most endangered large whale, with an estimated population of just a few hundred critters. They winter off of Florida and Georgia, but summer off New England. So they migrate through the coastal waters off of Virginia twice a year, including that year’s baby whales. They can grow to over 50 feet in length and weigh more than 70 tons. Protecting them is a major challenge.

The bottom of the barrel.

The most famous victim of the Holocaust was guilty of white privilege.
That assertion was an actual topic of discussion by left-wing activists on social media.
Twitter users’ comments about a famous Jewish Holocaust victim’s “white privilege” were about what you’d expect: historically ignorant and reductive. Pictured: Photographs of Anne Frank on view in 2003 at the Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington. (Photo: Tim Sloan/AFP/Getty Images)
“Anne Frank trended on Twitter on Sunday as users on the social media platform debated whether the Holocaust victim was a beneficiary of ‘white privilege,’ advantages that society supposedly bestows on those who are racially white,” The Jerusalem Post reported.
Twitter users’ comments were about what you’d expect, historically ignorant and reductive.
“Yes, all white people are safe,” said one, according to The Jerusalem Post. “No one is saying the Nazis didn’t target white people, just that white people…

Rent-seekers have been telling us that wind and solar will soon not only displace, but entirely replace, our “ageing” coal-fired power plants, knock gas-fired plants out of the ballpark and crush nuclear power plants before they even enter the contest. Such was the hype, anyway.
Then came 2021.
Massive month-long wind droughts left wind power acolytes red-faced across Europe and forced both the German and British governments to go begging, cap in hand, to the owners and operators of those “ageing” coal-fired power plants if they would mind, ever so much, firing up their plants in order to prevent mass blackouts across Germany and the UK. Embarrassing, to be sure.
Then came Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, which exposed the fact he has a chokehold on wind and solar-obsessed Europe.
‘Green’ policies designed to wipe out reliable and affordable coal and nuclear power plants – on the pretext that…

Falmouth, Massachusetts today is considering placing buried onshore wind turbine high voltage cables through residential neighborhoods up to 345,000 volts.
Studies showthat HVDE, high voltage dirty electricitycoulddisrupt important electrical processes withinthe humanbody.Long-term exposure to this type of electro-pollution has been associated with a wide variety of health problems such as cancer, asthma, sleep disturbances, fatigue, skin rashes, tingling sensations, allergy symptoms, headaches, muscle and joint pain, brain fog, memory loss, depression, and more.
In the United States, there are two types of high-voltage lines referred to as HVAC, high voltage alternating current, and HVDC, high voltage direct current. Alternating current is the type of power in every US household.
Studieswere donein the 1970s and 1980s. They studied various children in different locations in the United States and compared multipleriskfactorsincluding electric magnetic fields in high…

Are you hoping for a shiny gas range in your new home? How about a fireplace as the main attraction of your new living room?
If so, don’t move to Los Angeles, because the city is phasing out natural gas hookups in all new residential and commercial buildings effective Jan. 1, 2023. But LA isn’t alone. It’s California’s 57th locality to introduce commitments to phase out natural gas, and many cities across the country are following suit.
Misguided local governments are instituting gas bans across the country, ignoring how cheap, reliable, and relatively clean natural gas is for running homes and businesses. That means higher costs and fewer options for all of us. (Photo: evgenyatamanenko, iStock/Getty Images)
In a misguided effort to reduce emissions, localities that pass ordinances like these totally ignore just how vital natural gas is not only for our broader energy landscape, but…

America’s only earthly hope is a conservative leader at the next election if it is fair and not stolen as 2020 was!

Shortages of the following may be leading to the new norm of shortages and inflation:
Neon -the gas crucial to manufacturing electronic chips.Urea – the ingredient to make the EPA required Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) additive for all diesel vehicles.
Refineries – projections of 20 percent closures over the next 5 years of these aging infrastructures will result in less manufacturing to meet growing demands.
Oil – The U.S. is following California to be totally dependent on foreign countries to meet the demands within its borders.
NEON
Neon is an important component in the lasers that etch semiconductors. Like krypton and xenon, it is a by-product of steel manufacturing. Steel producers separate air to control levels of oxygen and nitrogen delivered to the blast furnace. This involves the fractional distillation of liquid air.
Neon is important to the manufacture of semiconductor chips but is not present in the…
