To save the earth is worth a whale or two!
By David Wojick, Ph.D. ~
The massive offshore wind (OSW) project proposed by Dominion Energy may pose a serious threat to the endangered North Atlantic Right Whale population. A comprehensive environmental impact assessment is required to determine the extent of this threat and the mitigation it might require. The same is true for the other proposed Mid-Atlantic OSW projects.
The North Atlantic Right Whale is reported to be the world’s most endangered large whale, with an estimated population of just a few hundred critters. They winter off of Florida and Georgia, but summer off New England. So they migrate through the coastal waters off of Virginia twice a year, including that year’s baby whales. They can grow to over 50 feet in length and weigh more than 70 tons. Protecting them is a major challenge.

The bottom of the barrel.

The most famous victim of the Holocaust was guilty of white privilege.
That assertion was an actual topic of discussion by left-wing activists on social media.
Twitter users’ comments about a famous Jewish Holocaust victim’s “white privilege” were about what you’d expect: historically ignorant and reductive. Pictured: Photographs of Anne Frank on view in 2003 at the Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington. (Photo: Tim Sloan/AFP/Getty Images)
“Anne Frank trended on Twitter on Sunday as users on the social media platform debated whether the Holocaust victim was a beneficiary of ‘white privilege,’ advantages that society supposedly bestows on those who are racially white,” The Jerusalem Post reported.
Twitter users’ comments were about what you’d expect, historically ignorant and reductive.
“Yes, all white people are safe,” said one, according to The Jerusalem Post. “No one is saying the Nazis didn’t target white people, just that white people…

‘A Florida school board cut off a dad’s microphone, saying that the content he was reading was “pornography” as he tried to expose the materials he said were in schools.
The Clay County School District dad, Bruce Friedman, told Fox News Digital, “These books are so vile that reading any excerpt that I captured will end this interview.”
“Somebody failed drastically in their mission to protect children,” said Friedman, the president of Florida’s No Left Turn in Education, a group focused on exposing indoctrination in U.S. public schools. “As soon as I announced that I was going to read from some books that parents… found in the public school libraries that are clearly pornographic, [they] had the mic cut off.”‘https://www.foxnews.com/media/florida-dad-speaks-after-school-board-cut-mic-reading-pornography-books-found-in-district
‘The Church of England has now gone on record saying it has “no official definition” of a woman.
The Telegraph reports the issue of defining what a woman is came up when Adam Kendry, a lay member of the General Synod, the church’s legislative body, and a representative of the Royal Navy, asked: “What is the Church of England’s definition of a woman?”
The question reflects the ongoing push by LGBTQ activists on British politics and society, an agenda that is also unfolding on a broad scale in the US as well.’https://www.breakingchristiannews.com/articles/display_art.html?ID=35651
Covid is going to get worse according to the Australian Federal Government BUT at the same time they (the government) will stop free RAT tests, scale back pandemic leave and telehealth consultations! Yep, they believe Covid is serious BUT……
STORY AT-A-GLANCE
- The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services announced that it, in partnership with the Department of Defense, agreed to purchase another 105 million doses of Pfizer’s COVID-19 shot — for $3.2 billion
- The contract is intended to supply shots for a coming fall injection campaign and includes options to purchase up to 300 million doses
- The decision came after a June 28 meeting of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee (VRBPAC), which recommended that an Omicron-specific component be included in COVID-19 booster shots in the U.S.
- Pfizer stands to profit significantly from the contract and has forecast that its COVID-19 shot sales will reach $32 billion in 2022
- VRBPAC voted 19-2 in favor of recommending booster shots that are Omicron-specific, even though panel members expressed uncertainty and guesswork surrounding the booster rollout’https://www.theepochtimes.com/us-gives-pfizer-3-2-billion-for-ineffective-covid-vax_4592843.html?est=UigdwmwEKXx2q7GcV2%2FNCvzt0oyG8Bmi9bCPh2Chl7kfcEprKav6%2FKyOGaupfjV0cg%3D%3D
1 Thessalonians 5:21
“ Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.”

‘Science has an elevated position in Western society. There are those who would try to put Christians down, by saying “You have faith, but I have science”. Science, in the abstract, is therefore assumed to be the ultimate truth, and the universal standard, against which everything must be tested.
This, it is suggested, is because science is tested. As a high school science teacher, I would suggest to my students that scientific processes could develop as follows: The problem to be investigated is stated. A hypothesis is then developed, which seems to explain this problem, and accompanying observations. After this, an investigation—often by experiment—is designed to test the hypothesis. For this to occur, the hypothesis must be testable, and, indeed, falsifiable. To say that a hypothesis is falsifiable does not imply that it is, or even could be, false. It simply means that it is theoretically possible that an investigative result might disprove the hypothesis.
For example, our hypothesis that hot water hurts is falsifiable, given that you could plunge your hand into boiling water, to see if it feels comfortable. In practice, we know that this would indeed hurt, supporting your hypothesis. Finally, you would carry out your investigation or experiment, record the results, and from them draw a conclusion, that your investigation either supports or disproves your hypothesis.
This important concept of scientific methodology is only possible, because we expect a rational universe, with scientific laws that make sense, and that do not change. Such a rational universe is only possible within a biblical worldview, where random chance events do not take place.’https://creationmoments.com/sermons/method-in-our-science-2/?mc_cid=aff60bfceb&mc_eid=00c1dcff3c
