Australia will be voting the 18th May, 2019 for a new Federal Government which means also a new Prime Minister. Bill Shorten is the leader of the Australian Labor Party and is seeking the PM position after being the leader of the opposition for six years.
Now, the main purpose of this article is what Bill Shorten said in the third PM debate. 
‘Mr Shorten then surprised by arguing strongly for religious freedoms, before adding he doesn’t believe in Hell.
“People should be free to practise their religion,” Mr Shorten said.
“… Mr Morrison is right. It’s a contractual negotiation at one level, but I’m uneasy about where that debate’s gone.
“On one hand, I think Israel Folau is entitled to his views. And he shouldn’t suffer an employment penalty for it … But I also think that we’ve got to be mindful about the other side of the equation.
“People putting out on social media that if you’re gay you’re going to go to Hell, I get that’s what he genuinely believes.
“I don’t think if you’re gay you’re going to go to Hell. I don’t know if Hell exists actually. But I don’t think if it does that being gay is what sends you there. What is scary in what Shorten and the present Prime Minister say is that they believe in religious freedom but if your religious beliefs are verbally voiced, such as Israel Folau’s were, then that can be hate speech. PM Morrison said “Free speech is one of our fundamental freedoms, so is religious freedom. I feel this very strongly. I mentioned it in my maiden speech to the Parliament. If you’re not free to believe, what are you free to do in this country?”
“Freedom of speech is important, but we have to exercise it responsibly and exercise it in a society such as ours with civility and due care and consideration to others.”
Now, what did Israel Folau say? 
To a Bible-believing Christian all Israel did was quote the Bible and say what it means and that is, those that commit such sins will not go to Heaven! However, it must be admitted that those words would not go well with those committing those sins. For instance, Alan Joyce of Qantas Airlines (which is also a sponsor of the team Israel plays for) is a Sodomite and he personally took offense. Does that mean Israel doesn’t have the liberty to say what he believes? Joyce as head of Qantas had plenty to say when Australia was getting ready to vote for so-called same-sex marriage. Even though Joyce’s words offended many who did not hold his view he had the freedom to state what he believed. The same should be for Israel Folau!
But, my point in all of this is Bill Shortens statement ‘I don’t know if Hell exists’. Therefore, let me seek to show that according to the Bible there is a place of torment waiting for unrepentant sinners.
First, what makes mankind different from all other creatures? Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. That statement carries a lot with it which would take more time than we have here but one thing it is saying is that man is eternal. No other creature is said to be in the image of God other than mankind! It is this God of which it is said in Isaiah 57:15 For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity…
God is eternal and mankind will live eternally with Him, which is called ‘eternal life’ or live that which is called the ‘second death’ in Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
Some will argue over interpretations but taking the PLAIN SENSE of Scripture certainly makes COMMON SENSE. Paul declared we are to be “comparing spiritual things with spiritual” which is Scripture compared with Scripture.
In concluding, there are at least three things that stand out here.
- Both men seeking the office of PM say they are Christians. PM Morrison is a member of a Pentecostal church and Shorten of an Anglican church. Pentecostals historically have believed in a real hell but contemporary Anglicans perhaps not so much. Nevertheless, whether one believes or does not believe there is a real hell doesn’t do away with the reality of such a place.
- Freedom of speech should not even be questioned in a free society! Whether one’s speech, written or verbalized, disagrees with another person’s lifestyle or beliefs shouldn’t restrict one’s freedom of speech!
- It seems that the stimulus for freedom to live less moral lives, such as men having sex with men, has an impact on many other things including the freedom of speech.
The moderate Muslim has a lot of work to do in making Islam compatible with a Western culture based on Judeo/Christian beliefs. Can you imagine if a Synagogue or Christian Church had children singing songs such as those in the above video? Is this Islamophobic to warn non-Muslims what is occurring in Islamic Centres? I think not.
Whereas Islam seems to be a religion of hate and killing Christianity is a religion of God’s Love shown to mankind through the sacrifice of His only begotten Son on the cross. As John the Apostle wrote in John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. and 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Well, Pennsylvania State Representative has made a video making a sort of apology for his bad actions during an encounter with a pro-life woman last week. Now, Sims’ apology seems to be more like an excuse but at the end of the video, he did admit he was ‘aggressive’ to the lady but that is putting it mildly.
Now, as a Christian the Bible tells us in John 3:16, 17 ‘For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.’ That includes you, me and Brian Sims.
The problem Sims, Planned Parenthood and all of us have is what Paul calls the ‘old man’, ‘the flesh’ and what is called ‘sin’ throughout the entire Bible. When a brother kills his own brother in cold blood as Cain did it is really not hard to understand why those in Planned Parenthood do what they do in murdering babies. As the Lord Jesus said in Matthew 15:19 ‘For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders,‘! These people are just acting out what is in their hearts.
The Lord Jesus came to save all of us from our sins and that was done and finished through His death and resurrection. When people, sinners, come by faith to the Lord Jesus they are then ‘in Christ’ and ‘a new creature‘ where ‘old things are passed away’ and ‘behold, all things are become new‘ 2Corinthians 5:17. Then, Planned Parenthood would be out of business!
Brian Sims is a Pennsylvania State representative who sadly does not represent all of his constituents! The video above shows clearly he does not represent the defenseless unborn children of his district! He does support murder, infanticide and has no hesitation in spending tax dollars that give him a salary to stand outside a Planned Parenthood clinic that murders babies daily to intimidate those who oppose those murders! Shame on Sims, the Pennsylvania State Legislature and those who voted this person into office!!! Psalm 127:3 Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
This guy, Brian Sims, has the liberty to be a sodomite but he should not have the right as a person and especially as an elected state official, to harass a peaceful protestor in front of a place where they murder the unborn!
This man is unhinged and shouldn’t be allowed to walk in public places. It seems he thinks his beliefs are more appropriate than the lady he is harassing! Well, yes, he has a right to his beliefs as stupid as they are BUT she has a right to hers as well.
Hopefully, there are some people in the Pennsylvania House that have some gumption and common sense to deal with this man before he does physical harm to someone.
Oh, by the way, Mr. Sims Proverbs 14:34 says ‘Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.’

Now, a new conflict is underway, as members of the local community push back against energy providers attempting to cover Culpeper—and other parts of rural Virginia—with solar facilities, sometimes thousands of acres in size.
The push for solar in Virginia is part of a nationwide effort to ramp up several fashionable renewable energy sources in the United States. To attract energy providers, federal, state, and local governments offer generous tax credits and subsidies for solar and wind facilities.
Virginia’s General Assembly voted in 2016 to subsidize solar and wind energy with an 80 percent sales and use tax exemption for machinery, tools, and equipment for public service corporations, following a number of legislative pushes for clean energy in the state. It was a successful strategy: Since the decision, solar providers have gained approval to set up shop in Spotsylvania, Chesterfield, Accomack, and other communities. The proposed solar facility in Culpeper, operated by the California-based Cricket Solar, will cover 800 acres of land intended for agricultural use and is set to produce 80 megawatts of power for the county.
But a growing body of research shows that, in the long run, solar isn’t efficient enough to justify the land used and the money spent to make it a primary energy source. Doug Orye, an industrial electrical engineer who operates a farm near Culpeper, said he fears that solar companies moving into Virginia are using up land that would be better served for agricultural use.
“We’re destroying huge amounts of land for a system that, at best, is 20 percent efficient,” he told the Washington Free Beacon, explaining that for their cost, solar facilities produce an almost negligible amount of energy.
Orye added that in his experience, solar works best in small-scale situations, such as panels installed on private rooftops and sheds. The Left-leaning Greenies have several agendas of which one is to bankrupt Western nations through wasting billions on so-called renewables. Here in Australia, we are fighting the same battles these fruit loop Green environmentalists are pushing there in the US of A.
Sadly, here in Australia, both major parties have swallowed the kool-aid. We don’t have a Donald Trump that hasn’t partaken of the kool-aid thinking that these ignorant renewable greenies believe are the answer to whatever catastrophe they are prophesying. This renewable obsession is a religion to these people. They, or at least they seem to believe they can save the earth from whatever they falsely believe we humans are doing to it. Their biggest enemy here in Australia is coal. Even though the exporting of coal brings billions of dollars into the Australian economy and provides thousands of jobs these eco-rodents are bound and determined to cease coal being mined and exported.
If the renewable fruit loop Australian Labor Party wins May 18, 2019, Australian Federal Election burning the furniture to keep warm this winter may be the average man’s only option.
The Left is quick to take another’s life whether it is a newborn or an elderly person. Their compassion is about as long as the hair on a totally bald man! This insanity must be stopped and it begins at the ballot box.
