What are those Social Justice warriors up to now?! Well, they are now smashing monuments that offend ‘…Native Americans.
Believe me, it’s a very long list.
Presidents, generals, icons like Daniel Boone, and the occasional bald settler who annoyed tribesmen by denying them a suitable trophy scalp to pin to their lodgepole.
I don’t think there are any monuments to that last entry, but for the rest, it’s a target-rich environment.
No other city has taken down a monument to a president for his misdeeds. But Arcata is poised to do just that. The target is an 8½-foot bronze likeness of William McKinley, who was president at the turn of the last century and stands accused of directing the slaughter of Native peoples in the U.S. and abroad.

I suppose I enjoy reading Kent Brandenburg because he is so often saying the very thing I am thinking. The left are always trying to change something that need not to be changed. One of those things is Australia Day. Interestingly ‘70% of Australians do not want the date of Australia Day changed, according to a new poll released today by the Institute of Public Affairs.
“It is abundantly clear that everyday Australians want to celebrate our great country on 26 January”, said Dr Bella d’Abrera, Director of the Foundations of Western Civilisation Program with the free market tank the Institute of Public Affairs.
A poll of over 1,000 Australians conducted by Research Now commissioned by the IPA found that:
- 70% of Australians believe Australia Day should be celebrated on 26 January, only 11% believe the date should be moved.
- Only 23% of Australians think Councils should stop holding citizenship ceremonies on 26 January, 50% of Australians disagree with these Councils.
- 76% of Australians believe Australia has a history of which to be proud, only 9% disagree.
- 87% of Australians are proud to be an Australian, only 3% are not.
“The poll confirms that the left-leaning elements of our politics and media that are obsessed with identity politics are completely out of step with the majority of Australians when it comes to our national day. They want to divide, rather than unite Australians.”

In Australia it is getting harder and harder to get the real news. Most so-called journalists are biased against anyone that smells conservative. Even homosexual Milo Yiannopoulos gets bad press here all because his politics lean in favour of the conservative!
The point is this, look around and read more than one news web site. Now, that is hard to do here in Australia but if you are a conservative, you MUST if you truly want to know the real news rather than the fake news put out there by MOST of the mainline media sources such as the ABC and almost all the free to air Australian channels.
If you don’t search for verification of the news you just may end up believing the loser is the winner!
