‘For thousands of years, theories that reject the Word of God have followed cultural fashion. It was inevitable, then, that some “biblical scholar” would invent a theory that a woman wrote some important part of Scripture that has been traditionally assigned to a man.
Historical critic Harold Bloom, who teaches at Yale, has proposed that the mythological “J” source of Genesis was a woman. He says she made up the stories of the creation, Noah and Abraham, and invented an impulsive, violent and “impish” divinity. Bloom’s evidence? The account of Eve’s creation is six times longer than the account of Adam’s creation.
Some Christians have been shaken up needlessly by this so-called “scholarship.” Historical criticism rejects the Bible as the Word of God. It says the Bible is man-made and a result of the natural evolution of religion. There is no room in historical criticism for divine revelation. As a result, historical critics cannot arrive at theories that support the Bible as God’s revelation except by accident. Second, the claimed sources of the Old Testament, such as the “J” source, have never been found and are purely imaginary.
As Christians, we should not be intimidated by such claims of “scholarship.” All this scholarship does is discard the God of Scripture and His Word, replacing the true God with imaginary gods and authors. ‘A recent New Scientist article has suggested that morality is something which evolved rather than being a gift of God. It is hard to see how this might be so. For example, an animal that remains faithful to its mate might seem to be at an evolutionary disadvantage, as there is no robust variety in the genetic makeup of the pair’s offspring, whereas a male that freely mates with every female in sight has a wide genetic variety in its offspring. The seemingly moral behavior would, therefore, be anti-evolutionary.
The New Scientist article argues that many animals exhibit altruistic behavior. They cite the following examples:
Chimpanzees reconcile after a squabble and console each other after a defeat, rats share food with another rat pal, and wolves, fully aware of the danger, defend each other against a grizzly bear.
Since such behavior exists, the author argues, it must have been an evolutionary favorable adaptation that caused it. However, this is a very subtle example of the logical fallacy known as circular reasoning. In order to suggest that morality is a product of evolution, the author has had to assume that evolution is true. It is not. ‘Scientists from the Lamont-Doherty Observatory discovered an enormous ancient lakebed beneath the ice on Greenland.1 Although scientists have found other lakes beneath the ice in Greenland and Antarctica, this was the first dry lakebed found below the ice.2 The new discovery came as a surprise to secular scientists, but it fits perfectly into the Flood narrative.
Using airborne radar, gravity, and magnetic data from NASA’s Operation IceBridge, the team identified a pre-glacial lakebed that is 2,740 square miles in area, about the same size as Delaware and Rhode Island combined. Though it’s dry now, at one time it contained water as deep as 820 feet.2
Radar data allowed the team to map the detailed topography of the lakebed below the 1.1 miles of ice, and the gravity and magnetic data permitted an estimate of the thickness of lakebed sediments. Sediments are assumed to be lower density (less gravity) and less magnetic than the crystalline bedrock.
Publishing their results in Earth and Planetary Science Letters, Guy Paxman and his co-authors concluded that the pre-ice lake sediments are about 0.75 miles thick.2 They also found well-defined erosional lake terraces on the edge of the lake that indicated its past water level.1
Of course, the three-quarter mile of sediment is assumed to have taken hundreds of thousands or even millions of years to accumulate.2 But these ages are based on uniformitarian assumptions. Under the right conditions, these sediments could have easily built up in just a few hundred years or less.
Looking at the evidence from both a scientific and biblical perspective rather than a uniformitarian one, it seems likely that this lake formed at the end of the global Flood, after the water had fully drained off the continents and before the onset of the Ice Age. This places the lake sediments on top of the Tejas Megasequence, which is interpreted as the layer formed during the receding phase of the Flood.3
After the Flood ended, there may have been about a hundred years that passed prior to the onset of ice sheet development across Greenland.3 This would provide ample time for lake water to carve terraces and for the thick sediment to accumulate in the lakebed, especially with the heavy rains expected at the end of the Flood due to the warmer oceans and higher evaporation. Other glacial lakes have carved a series of terraces as they rose and fell, including Lake Bonneville, the precursor to the Great Salt Lake.3
The team from Lamont-Doherty also found that at least 18 former streams drained into the lake, which could have provided the sediments needed to fill the lakebed quickly.
High post-Flood rainfall from warmer oceans would foster the conditions necessary to form the lake rapidly after the Flood. The heavy rainfall provided water for the surrounding streams to erode the landscape and fill the lakebed with thousands of feet of sediment. Eventually, the increase in volcanic activity toward the end of the Flood and in the early post-Flood period cooled the climate until this rain turned to snow.3 Thick snow built up across Greenland and over time became ice, creating the massive ice sheet that covers this ancient lakebed today.
All of these events happened just thousands of years ago, not over millions of years. A lot of time is not required, just the right conditions. And the global Flood provided the perfect conditions. The Ice Age came and went after the Flood, providing temporary land bridges for post-Flood migration of animals and humans alike.3 God accomplished His plan and purpose for the Ice Age,3 and He left a few reminders in the ice sheets across Greenland and Antarctica.

‘DINOSAUR ON WRONG CONTINENT according to reports in Bath University 5 November 2020, Science Alert 6 November 2020, SciTech Daily 7 November 2020, and Cretaceous Research, 2 November 2020; doi:10.1016/j.cretres.2020.104678. An international team of scientists have found fossil jaws and the teeth of a hadrosaur (a “duckbill dinosaur”) in a phosphate mine in Morocco. Using the fossils they estimate the dinosaur was about 3 metres (10ft) long – fairly small for a hadrosaur, but still a large animal. The rock layer it was found in is dated as 66 million years, putting it in the Cretaceous period. The scientists were surprised to find it in Morocco as hadrosaurs are believed to have evolved in North America, a long way from Africa. According to current continental drift theory Africa was separated from other continents by deep oceans hundreds of kilometres wide during the Cretaceous, which would have made it almost impossible for hadrosaurs to migrate to Africa. Nicholas Longrich, of the Milner Centre for Evolution at the University of Bath UK, who led the study said “It was completely out of place, like finding a kangaroo in Scotland. Africa was completely isolated by water – so how did they get there?” According to Longrich “It was impossible to walk to Africa,” so the research team suggested it must have crossed the water by swimming, floating or rafting on debris. Present day ocean crossings by animals such as iguanas and tortoises by rafting are rare, but have been documented. According to the Bath University Press Release, “Duckbills were probably powerful swimmers – they had large tails and powerful legs, and are often found in river deposits and marine rocks, so they may have simply swum the distance”. Nour-Eddine Jalil, from the Natural History Museum of Sorbonne University (France) commented: “The succession of improbable events (crossing an ocean by a dinosaur, fossilization of a terrestrial animal in a marine environment) highlights the rarity of our find and therefore its importance”. ED .COM. Finding hadrosaur remains in Africa is only a problem for those who believe the story about the evolution of dinosaurs made up by people who were not there to see it happen. BUT this finding is not a problem if you believe the history of the world as set out by the Creator and Judge who created dinosaurs and then judged the world with the world-wide Flood (see Genesis 1-9). When God created the world there was one ocean and one land mass, so dinosaurs could have roamed anywhere in the time between their creation and Noah’s Flood. During that flood all air breathing, land dwelling animals outside the Ark were wiped out. Many dinosaurs were swept up by flood waters (both fresh and saltwater), along with masses of sediment, then dumped and buried. Added to the evidence they were drowned, that explains the finding of dinosaurs in “river deposits and marine rocks”. They did not live in rivers or the sea – they died in flood waters. Ipso facto, such fossils found on different continents are not the evidence of evolution – they are the remains of world-wide destruction.’

Biden, a Democrat, plans to “carry out virtually every proposal” that LGBT activists have pushed for in recent years, the AP said. Biden’s agenda includes allowing individuals who identify as transgender to enlist in the military, as well as allow trans-identified servicemen to enter women’s-only areas (and vice versa), and cover trans-surgeries and cross-sex hormones for members of the military. He also plans to require all government contractors to have anti-LGBT discrimination policies, and will create LGBT rights positions at the State Department, National Security Agency, and other federal agencies.

‘Secular scientists are finding exactly what Flood geologists have predicted all along—huge crystals can and did grow extremely fast. In other words, magmas can cool into minerals in a matter of days!
Geology students are taught that large-crystal igneous rocks called pegmatites1take vast amounts of time, even millions of years, to solidify and cool. Secular geologists reason that the minerals need a lot of time to nucleate and grow—bigger minerals need big amounts of time, similar to plant growth.
But a new study published in Nature Communications demonstrated that large crystals in pegmatites can grow to massive sizes in just a few days.2 Scientists from Rice University and University of California, Riverside examined trace element concentrations in the Stewart pegmatite in southern California. What they found shocked them: The trace element distribution in the crystals was best explained by accelerated crystal growth. They may have grown to meter-size (three feet) in just a few days.2 Co-author Cin-Ty Lee, a Rice University geology professor, stated in a UPI report on the study:
Pegmatites cool relatively quickly, sometimes in just a few years, and yet they feature some of the largest crystals on Earth….The big question is, really, “How can that be?”3
Lead author Patrick Phelps, a graduate student at Rice, added:
We examined crystals that were half an inch wide and over an inch long….We showed those grew in a matter of hours, and there is nothing to suggest the physics would be different in larger crystals that measure a meter or more in length. Based on what we found, larger crystals like that could grow in a matter of days….We’d done the math and the physics. That part was sound. While we didn’t expect it to be that fast, we couldn’t come up with a reason why it wasn’t plausible.3
In fact, this rate was nearly unbelievable and totally unexpected, defying conventional thought. It was several orders of magnitude faster than what had previously been taught in the classroom for decades.3
But should rapid cooling and rapid crystal growth be a surprise? It wasn’t too long ago that secular scientists found that magmas (molten material) can ascend through the crust at much faster rates than expected. These rates were also surprising to deep-time thinkers.
In fact, the rapid ascent of magmas was found to be much more common than geologists once believed.4,5 Terry Plank and Philipp Ruprecht determined that the magma beneath Costa Rica’s Irazú Volcano rose roughly 35 km (22 miles) in just months, or at most a few years.5 They also found that some magmas can ascend 10 km (6.2 miles) in just 10 minutes. That’s nearly three times faster than a human can run a 10 km race!
What is so shocking to the uniformitarian scientific world is the speed of these events. Geology students worldwide are taught that magmas take millions of years to ascend to the surface and many more millions to cool and crystallize. Pegmatites were thought to be the slowest-growing crystals of all because of their massive size. Taking away the assumed deep time for these crystals to form takes away the uniformitarian argument that the formation of igneous rocks requires a lot of time.
Instead, secular science is finding that minerals grow and magmas move at rates predicted by Flood geologists. Pegmatite crystals and solidified granites could have easily formed in the past 4,400 years since the upheaval of the biblical Flood. No fabricated concept of deep time is necessary—not millions or even tens of thousands of years.
Science is confirming the time frame of the Bible. Even fast-growing crystals testify to the recent Genesis Flood.

Some folk are very intelligent but at the same time very dumb as they question and even deny the Bible. Why would I say that? Well, ‘The Mississippi River dumps an average of about six million gallons of water into the Gulf of Mexico every second. Where does all that water go? The vast surface of the ocean allows for enormous amounts of evaporation to take place. High in the atmosphere, this invisible water vapor condenses into clouds, which produce rain or snow, which in turn falls onto land surfaces. The water then completes the circuit by flowing into rivers and then back into the ocean again.
No one really understood or accepted the idea of the complete water cycle until the late 16th and early 17th centuries. Pierre Perrault, Edme Mariotte, and astronomer Edmund Halley all contributed valuable data to the concept of the water cycle. Yet Solomon and Isaiah both wrote about it in the Bible.
In Ecclesiastes 1:7 King Soloman describes the water cycle as follows,
Ecclesiastes 1:7 All the rivers run into the sea; yet the sea is not full; unto the place from whence the rivers come, thither they return again.

While such high protein diets like this are good in mating and reproductive season, they do not prepare the birds to survive the cold weather of winter.
What they need to do is build a layer of fat both for calorie storage as well as insulation. So, as winter nears, the berries that have been growing and ripening all summer on various shrubs become more numerous. The high sugar content of the berries’ juice helps the birds to quickly build up fat. The freeze on cold fall mornings even helps to increase the sugar concentration in the berries. Even more amazing is that the various types of berries eaten by the birds ripen in a staggered fashion so that berry season is long and the supplies are always available. For example, as the elderberry supply is just about consumed, highbush cranberries are in production. Often, the summer’s hatchlings’ plumage doesn’t reach full color until they eat the various pigments in the berries, and those pigments are incorporated into the new feathers. In exchange, the birds spread the seeds in the berries.
