Murder has been around since man was driven from the Garden and Cain slew his own brother. Now, why did Cain murder Abel? The answer is that Cain was mad at God the Creator because God did not accept his offering. Cain could not take his anger out on God but he could on his brother Abel. Here is what the Word tells us in Genesis 4:6-8 And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen? 7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him. 8 ¶ And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.
In Romans 1: 29 we are told that murder is in the heart of man Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder,… and in Matthew 15:19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders…
