I grew up in the USA but now live in Australia. I am however, still an American citizen and therefore feel free to speak on the liberty to own and/or carry a gun. By the way I have a genuine birth certificate that proves I am a 100% American born citizen which is more than the one in the White House does!
Because of the Occupier’s Marxist’s upbringing it is not surprising to read what he is quoted as saying at http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2013/01/27/obama-gun-control-advocates-should-listen-more/. The Occupier said that “…it’s understandable that people are protective of their family traditions when it comes to hunting so gun-control advocates also need to do a little more listening than they do sometimes in the debate.”
Is that really what this debate is all about, hunting!? Here is the Second Amendment which states that “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”
This Second Amendment has NOTHING to do with hunting! It has to do with defending oneself from a tyrannical enemy which may be hunting you and that enemy just may include the Federal Government.

I am writing this from my home in Australia so I do not know if the Occupier has been sworn into office yet or not. However, I have read that the Occupier’s hero supposedly is Abe Lincoln. Now personally I am not a big fan nor am I an enemy of Abe Lincoln but this Occupier can never match the stature of Lincoln. For one thing it has been written that Lincoln was a humble man whereas the Occupier is anything but! Secondly Lincoln could speak without a teleprompter! Thirdly Lincoln knew how many states there were in the USA during his time BUT the Occupier didn’t in his first campaign. Fourthly, Lincoln may not have been a professing Christian but he definitely had Christian sentiments. The Occupier has shown his sentiments are with Islamists!!!! Lincoln knew his Bible and quoted the Bible often. The Occupier doesn’t know the Bible except for those passages that fit his purpose (kind of like Rick Warren).
Now IF Lincoln is the Occupier’s hero it is only because Abe Lincoln was a federalist. The Civil war was not really over slavery but it was truly over states rights. However, as a federalist Lincoln did not see it that way. The Occupier too sees the Federal Government as the One with the rights. The present gun issue is a modern day example. It will be interesting to see just how far the Occupier gets with this issue! May this issue be settled in the individual states by the people of those states!

America, land of the free and the home of the brave!? However, how long will it be the home of the free? As most of my readers already know Islamists have attacked and killed the US ambassador and other US citizens in Libya. Why? They were disturbed by a film they said insulted Mohammed! The film “Innocence of Muslims” according to the Associated Press was produced by Sam Bacile, an Israeli based in California.
The nation in which Americans are presently giving their lives has had its President saying the movie was a devilish act and the YouTube site where a portion of the film could be viewed by Afghans was shut down. Yes, our boys are dying to free the Afghans and this must be a part of that freedom or lack thereof.
Egypt, which the Occupier visited in placating the Islamists rather than visiting Israel, has called on Washington to act against Bacile. According to Egypt it was Bacile at fault here and not the murdering Islamists. Then to top it all off General Martin Dempsey, the chairman of the U.S. military’s Joint Chiefs of Staff, telephoned Florida Pastor Terry Jones. Remember Jones, he is the man who burned the Koran publically. Well, Jones has endorsed this film and that is why Dempsey called; to ask Jones to withdraw his support. What Jones’ answer was isn’t known yet but this is UNBELIEVABLE!!!

The first Amendment of the United States Constitution says “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”
However, “A Wisconsin man who wants to hand out Bibles at the 40th Annual Twin Cities Pride festival in Loring Park this month will have to confine himself to a booth just outside of the event.
Chief U.S. District Judge Michael Davis issued a 41-page order Monday denying Brian Johnson’s request for an injunction that would force the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board to allow him unfettered access to the festival grounds, reasoning that his constitutional challenge was unlikely to succeed.”
The Judge went on to say “Courts therefore recognize that, when the government seeks to regulate the time, place or manner of speech in a public forum and does so in a content-neutral manner, its actions are constitutional so long as they are narrowly tailored to serve a significant interest and allow alternative channels of communication (Emphasis added)”.

In June the Muslim’s of Dearborn, Michigan hold an Arab Festival. One blogger has reported that “Four Christians were reportedly jailed last Friday at a Dearborn, MI, Arab festival:
“Police in the heavily Arab Detroit suburb of Dearborn say they arrested four Christian missionaries for disorderly conduct at an Arab cultural festival.”
The link above goes to Hot Air where the post states the Christians were handing out literature. The BlogProf says he has corresponded with one of the arrested men who also attended last year’s Dearborn festival, and he apparently claims they weren’t even doing that:

Muslims threatened to kill Nabeel and me if we showed up again at Arab Fest in Dearborn, so we went there yesterday. They didn’t kill us. Instead, police arrested us and we got to spend a night in jail (along with two others who were video recording us). Interesting city. I feel a documentary coming on. Title: “Welcome to Dearborn.”
Is it now illegal to preach Christianity in Dearborn, Michigan? Have Sharia rules been imposed there?

Yes, we’re banned from handing out literature, but we didn’t do that. We followed the rules, and still got thrown in jail. They flat out lied about us. We can prove they lied with the video footage (just like last year), but the police took our cameras and won’t let us have the footage. There’s major oppression of anyone who criticizes Islam.”
I’d like to hear more from the police because this sounds like the arrests were made based on trumped-up disorderly conduct charges. If so, a lawsuit and court order might convince the Dearborn police not to pick the easy way out. What is it the Western world does not understand about Sharia Law? In Iran, Saudi and other nations with Sharia Law the whole individual’s life is controlled and Sharia Compliant Finance is only one part of the whole. So is finance the camel’s nose which will eventually allow the entire body of Sharia Law to dominate the Western world?
AIG is an American multinational insurance corporation which through reckless investments would have gone broke except it obtained a US Government bailout which made the US taxpayer the majority stakeholder. The Thomas More Law center brought a constitutional challenge to the “…Government’s bailout of AIG, which used over a hundred million dollars in federal tax money to support Islamic religious indoctrination through the funding and promotion of Sharia-compliant financing (SCF). SCF is financing that follows the dictates of Islamic law.” Surprisingly or perhaps not surprisingly this challenge was dismissed by Judge Zatkoff.
The Thomas More Law Center’s Richard Thompson stated that “Judge Zatkoff’s ruling allows for oil–rich Muslim countries to plant the flag of Islam on American soil. This is not Islamophobia but looking at the reality that Sharia Compliant Finance is simply the camel’s nose and once it’s “inside the tent door the body will soon follow”. Whatyareckon?
