Believe it or not ‘An ISIS terrorist indicted by a federal grand jury for providing material support to the militant Islamist group has been released by federal authorities in Oregon. Even for the famously liberal west coast it may seem unbelievable, especially since a Republican appointee heads the Department of Justice (DOJ), the agency that made the bizarre decision. The defendant is Hawazen Sameer Mothafar, a 31-year-old U.S. resident charged with two counts of conspiracy to provide material support to a designated terrorist organization and one count of providing and attempting to provide material support to a designated foreign terrorist organization, in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 2339B(a)(1). Mothafar has also been charged with making false statements—denying his terrorist ties—in an immigration application and one count of false statement to a government agency.
Since 2015 up until his arrest just days ago Mothafar conspired with ISIS, according to the nine-page indictment issued this month. He produced and distributed ISIS propaganda and recruiting materials created and edited in coordination with the terrorist group’s official media operatives overseas. This includes the production, editing and distribution of many publications and articles in a pro-ISIS online media organization. Among his writings is a piece titled “Effective Stabbing Techniques,” which provides detailed guidance on the best way to kill and maim a target during a knife attack. Mothafar also published a tutorial in an Arabic publication titled “How Does a Detonator Work,” that explains in detail the use of explosive ignition devices. The same issue of the Arabic edition includes info graphics containing a picture of the Eiffel Tower in Paris and Statute of Liberty in New York on fire with a caption indicating that they will soon be attacked. Another one of Mothafar’s propagandas encourages readers to carry out attacks in their home countries if traveling overseas to fight is not possible.
Most of Mothafar’s work has appeared in a terrorist online media conglomerate known as Al Dura’a al Sunni or Sunni Shield that circulates pro-ISIS propaganda in writing, via videos and graphics. Mothafar also moderated private chat groups for the jihadist media outlet and had regular contact with ISIS leaders overseas, according to federal prosecutors. Evidently, he served as the tech trouble shooter, providing high-level jihadists with technical support that includes opening social media and electronic mail accounts for official use. A senior ISIS official in custody in Iraq told investigators that it was Mothafar’s job to provide ISIS “new accounts when we needed new accounts as soon as possible,” the indictment states. In December 2019, Mothafar tried to acquire information involving piloting a drone carrying an object for Saleck Ould Cheikh Mohamedou, an Islamic extremist convicted for trying to assassinate Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz, the former president of the northwest African nation of Mauritania. Mohamedou is currently incarcerated there for the failed attempt.
While Mothafar was busy furthering terrorist missions in his adopted land, he repeatedly lied in U.S. immigration documents and to federal officials by denying ties to terrorist organizations. “This defendant is a legal permanent resident of the United States who abandoned the country that took him in and instead pledged allegiance to ISIS and repeatedly and diligently promoted its violent objectives,” said Oregon’s top federal prosecutor, Billy J. Williams, in a statement released by the agency. “Our national security prosecutors and law enforcement partners will continue to ensure that those who threaten our country are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.” The special agent in charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in Oregon said Mothafar was a leading figure in the Islamic State’s media network who tried to incite “lone actor” operators globally. “When it comes to cases like this one, a computer and a keyboard can be powerful weapons against enemies of the Islamic State,” the special agent, Renn Cannon, added.
Mothafar pleaded not guilty during a recent court hearing and is scheduled to be tried early next year. Federal authorities released him to his home in Troutdale, a town of about 16,000 on the eastern edge of Portland, pending trial with restrictions on travel and use of electronic devices. They should have kept him in custody considering the severity of the charges. They did not because he “has physical disabilities and is confined to a wheelchair,” according to the DOJ, so the government did not seek detention.’https://www.judicialwatch.org/corruption-chronicles/isis-terrorist-released-by-feds-in-oregon-town-after-grand-jury-indictment/
If Joe and that other person get the WH then freedom of speech will definitely be no more! Deplatforming will probably be the least of our worries! The CCP seems to have a lot of influence over this President wanna be and his team.
‘Richard Stengel, the head of the Joe Biden transition team for US state media outlets, is an outspoken supporter of “hate speech” laws, social media censorship, and other means that restrict or editorialize people’s speech.
Stengel was recently named on the Biden transition website as team lead for the US Agency for Global Media (USAGM) – a US government-owned agency that’s responsible for operating several state-owned media outlets which include Voice of America and Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty.
USAGM also funds the Open Technology Fund which describes its mission as “support open technologies and communities that increase free expression, circumvent censorship, and obstruct repressive surveillance as a way to promote human rights and open societies.”
Yet Stengel’s past statements and roles show that he has a history of advocating for the suppression of speech based on censorship buzzwords such as hate speech, “disinformation,” and “misinformation.”
In 2019, Stengel wrote an opinion piece for The Washington Post titled “Why America needs a hate speech law.” In the article, Stengel suggests that hate speech “undermines the values that the First Amendment was designed to protect” and calls for states to “experiment with their own version of hate speech statutes to penalize speech that deliberately insults people based on religion, race, ethnicity and sexual orientation.”
Stengel has also claimed that several of the President’s statements are hate speech and tweeted that if America were to adopt a hate speech law, “the President might be in violation of it.”
In addition to advocating for hate speech laws, Stengel has also called for a rethinking of the First Amendment.’https://reclaimthenet.org/joe-biden-richard-stengel-hate-speech-first-amendment/
Christians are under attack here in Australia. It seems those on the Left may say or write the most hateful obscene things and seemingly get away with it but let a Christian take a stand for life and truth then that’s different and must be dealt with.
The following is an email from Peter Downie, National Director of Family Voice, Australia. The email reads that Dr Jereth Kok ‘…was a hard-working and much-loved Melbourne Christian family doctor with a wife and two children.

Then last year, the Medical Board of Australia suspended him indefinitely. Two people – not his patients and unknown to him – had made anonymous complaints about his social media posts, along with an article in the Christian newspaper Eternity.
The Board took three months to investigate, paying people to trawl through years of his online articles and comments, before giving him less than a week to prepare his response.
Following his suspension, he appealed to the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), but it upheld the Board’s decision.
His indefinite suspension means he cannot practise as a doctor. He has no income, and his patients must go elsewhere.
Last April, Toowoomba GP Dr David van Gend wrote about this extraordinary miscarriage of justice. Among other things, Dr Kok was accused of racism and “endorsing genocide” in a comment he posted on a Christian blog. In reality, he did the opposite. Dr van Gend said (in part):
Free speech is one thing; incitement to violence is another. If Melbourne GP Jereth Kok has used social media to endorse genocide, then the decision by the Medical Board of Australia to suspend his registration is justified. If he has done no such thing, then the Board has acted disgracefully, wrongfully defaming Dr Kok and destroying his medical career.
We can judge for ourselves which is the guilty party.
Below is the only post in which Dr Kok refers to genocide. Context is everything.
Kok is commenting in 2012 on an article by Christian social commentator Bill Muehlenberg entitled, “When Aid Money becomes Killing Money”. Muehlenberg objected to the Australian Labor Government joining other Western governments in funding abortions in poor countries.
He argued that “what we really have is coercive utopians from the West working overtime to decimate the populations of poor overseas nations” and quoted a pro-life leader from the US characterising such policies as “population control aimed at poor dark-skinned women”.
The staunchly pro-life Dr Kok posted this bitterly ironic comment:
Thanks to “family planning”, developed nations (Europe, Japan, North America) are in steep decline and are facing an impending financial and economic crisis that comes with an aged population.
See for example what is happening in Japan: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-pacific-12296077
Soon, our civilisations will be vanquished, and the Earth will be overrun by Black people. The solution is clear: we must take “family planning” to poor countries and exterminate them before it is too late!
Jereth Kok
Anybody with a reading age above 12 can tell, in context, that this is irony – a rhetorical device by which Kok scorns the decadent West for exporting its culture of death to poor countries.
The Medical Board, however, asserts the exact opposite: that Dr Kok’s comment is an endorsement of genocide!
Incredibly, the VCAT agrees. Kok’s reputation and career are trashed.
The Medical Board of Australia has gravely defamed this GP and owes him an immediate apology.
Friends and church family have helped Dr Kok, but life is tough. He is facing trial on misconduct charges, and will need funds for legal expenses when that time comes.
Please pray for him – especially for guidance about other ways to support his family. And pray for others undergoing similar ordeals.
We are facing increasing persecution – but be strong and of good courage. God is still on the throne.’https://familyvoice.org.au/
‘The group – known as “The Elders” – said on Thursday (local time) in a statement that Mr Trump “should follow the example set by his predecessors and declare himself willing to accept the verdict cast” by voters.’https://thenewdaily.com.au/news/world/us-news/trump-news/2020/11/13/former-leaders-urge-trump-to-act-responsibly-and-concede-defeat/?utm_source=Adestra&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=News%20Alert%20-%2020201113
The Elders was founded by Nelson Mandela in 2017. Now, guess who makes up this group today? Well, one of the Elders is the good ole boy from Plains, Georgia Jimmy Carter! Yeah, that’s right. On the Elder web site it says of this has been
‘JIMMY CARTER
Elder Emeritus
Former President of the United States, Nobel Peace Laureate and veteran peace negotiator; dedicated to advancing peace, democracy and health worldwide.’https://www.theelders.org/
Another Elder that isn’t worth the space he occupies is
‘BAN KI-MOON
Deputy Chair
Former UN Secretary-General and former South Korean Foreign Minister; championed the world’s vulnerable by putting Sustainable Development, climate change, and gender equality at the top of the UN agenda.’ Note CLIMATE CHANGE!
The ELDERS is just another Leftist/Marxist/Communist/Socialist group that these left leaning media do-gooders go to for their hate of all freedom loving people and President Trump. The way things are going if President Trump isn’t returned to the WH we who disagree with these diabolical depraved truth deniers will be walking the plank sooner than later.
If Sleepy Joe and that other person do get into the WH then you can kiss life as you once knew it, good bye.

‘If the Biden-Harris ticket prevails, would their Green climate policies take hold? It would come if the President exhausted his options in the courts and falls short. This is how the 2000 presidential election concluded, causing Al Gore to concede to George W. Bush 37 days after election day.
Upon declaring himself President-elect, Joe Biden reaffirmed his commitment to fight “the battle to save the climate” and to re-enter the Paris Climate Accords.
A Biden administration will have a huge impact on climate policies by controlling the Environmental Protection Agency, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and the Interior Department as the leading rule-making agencies for Green policies. More than likely, gas pipeline construction will be denied permits, fossil fuel drilling on federal lands refused, carbon emission standards tightened on industry, and wetlands and logging restrictions re-imposed.
Literally dozens of environmental orders are likely forthcoming from a Biden presidency that would reverse Trump administration actions, and impose costlier, anti-competitive energy burdens on American industry, jobs and households.
The question, however, arises: why is Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez sounding sullen these days? She supported Joe Biden for president (after his nomination at the Democratic convention last August), and drafted his climate policies in the Unity Task Force recommendations.
The answer is that congressional elections did not go well for Democrats. As Joe Biden leads in the presidential count, the Democratic Party unexpectedly took losses in Congress. Several Democratic lawmakers, including 3rd ranking House member, James Clyburn, are publicly blaming the Party’s progressive agenda championed by AOC, Sen. Bernie Sanders and others.
AOC rejects the criticism and is on the defensive. “It’s irresponsible to pour gasoline on what [are] already very delicate tensions in the Party,” she said. She went on, “I don’t even know if I want to be in politics.”
These are not the sentiments of a jubilant, victorious politician.
While Democrats and most pollsters expected Mr. Biden to win the presidency, they also expected to take full control of Congress: first, by expanding their majority in the House of Representatives; second, by taking majority control of the U.S. Senate where Republicans had twice the number of seats at stake and where the Democrats heavily outspent them. Neither occurred.
Instead, Democrats will dwindle to a very narrow House majority to perhaps a handful of seats above the minimum 218, as Republicans are likely to capture a dozen or more seats held by Democratic incumbents. In the Senate, Republicans have at least 50 of the 100 seats, with two Senate run-off races in Georgia to be decided in January.
Even if Biden becomes president, a bare majority in the House and likely continued minority position in the Senate will make progressive climate policies far more difficult to pass into law, if not impossible. In particular, Congress has the power of the purse. Even a modest Green New Deal labeled something else would cost trillions of new taxpayer dollars to impose carbon mandates and “create” green energy jobs. They have no mandate from the voters.
Another reason for climate policy proponents like AOC to be concerned is hydro-fracturing for natural gas, which they oppose. Joe Biden insisted during the fall campaign that he did not oppose fracking, despite taking the opposite position for more than year prior. Kamala Harris said, “Joe Biden will not ban fracking. That is a fact,” though she claimed no reversal for herself. Biden also claimed he was not for the Green New Deal, and Harris refused to mention it, even though both were on record in support. Evidently, both understood the political risk of going big and ostentatious on climate policies.
Lastly, should Mr. Biden end up as president and re-enter the Paris Accords, the Republicans should insist it come before the Senate as a treaty, which requires two-thirds approval, pursuant to the U.S. Constitution. International deals of this magnitude on any subject are manifestly illegal for any president alone to commit the nation. A Biden refusal to do so could trigger Senate Republicans to deny funding its implementation, if they dare.
President Trump and his administration took a balanced approach between economic and environmental issues. A Biden administration would reverse many such executive actions. However, since a predicted “Blue” Democratic wave failed to materialize, a “Green” wave, at least from Congress, is unlikely.’https://papundits.wordpress.com/2020/11/12/will-there-be-a-green-wave-for-america/
We live in regional New South Wales and have not eaten out for months due to this China virus and one of the main reasons is this having to ‘check in’! So, the following doesn’t surprise us at all!
‘The hospitality industry in Australia’s state of New South Wales is being recruited by the local government to make sure that their patrons’ personal data like names and other details are logged and kept electronically via the use of a QR code.
The establishments who fail to “catalog” their customers in this way will face penalties.
The system, integrated into a state-produced app, goes live on November 23, and the reason behind it is said to be to ensure strict coronavirus contact tracing.
In Australia, however, those “venturing out” to lunch or coffee, but also to get married or attend a funeral, can now expect to be recorded with their contact details, while the authorities are reportedly giving these establishments a free hand at retaining this electronic data.
But that’s not all, as the new rules apply to anything from crematoria, aquariums, education, and amusement facilities, auction houses, beauty salons, party houses, pubs, brothels, and of course, government facilities.
The state government in NSW introduced the QR code scanner designed to trace contacts of potentially infected people back in September, to be implemented in hospitality establishments as well as in Service NSW – a government agency that provides access to its services online, by phone or in person, including the state’s transport, fair trading, births, deaths, and marriages.
In other words, it’s pretty comprehensive and used by everyone – who will now have to be logged for contact tracing.
But Minister for Customer Service (of Service NSW) Victor Dominello spelled it out: “We have to move away from the walk-in culture to the check-in culture.”
And if the internet fails, the recommendation is to use spreadsheets to keep track of people (specifically Excel, the same program that’s already caused problems in the UK where Public Health England lost close to 16,000 COVID-19 test results thanks to these Microsoft products.)
Over in Australia, one-time fines for venues ignoring the new rules will reach up to 11,000 Australian dollars, 6 months in prison, or both -and a further $5,500 penalty could apply for each day the “offense” continues.’https://reclaimthenet.org/nsw-official-says-walk-in-culture-is-over/
I still use Twitter BUT also have Parler which I find is definitely conservative and no censoring. Parler is ‘A social media application touted as the free speech alternative to Twitter shot up to the top of Apple’s downloading charts after numerous incidents of censorship over the election.Calling all Americans to take back our constitutional freedoms
Parler officially launched in 2018 and has gained millions of followers since, some of which were banned from Twitter or abandoned the platform over their attempts to censor speech.
KUSI-TV said that the alternative platform was the No. 1 downloaded application on Apple the weekend after the election.
Parler, which is based in Henderson, Nevada, made similar headlines in June when prominent conservatives pushed a campaign to abandon Twitter in favor of the alternative platform.
Many supporters and allies of President Donald Trump excoriated Twitter after the election when the president claimed that he had won the election with large margins, and Twitter slapped his tweets with a warning that his claims were misleading.
The president had said in May that he would consider steps to shut down Twitter over its censorship.
“I think this, if Twitter were not honorable, if you’re gonna have a guy like this be your judge and jury, I think you shut it down as far as I’m concerned,” Trump said at the time, “but I’d have to go through a legal process to do that.
Parler CEO John Matze told KUSI that before the election his platform had risen to more than 4.5 million users. He added that during the election his platform was growing by as much as 50 new users a second.
“It was really kinda going a little crazy,” he said.
While some praised Parler for its closer adherence to a free speech policy, some worried that it might help spread false news.
“I think times have changed now considering how fast information gets spread on the internet. I think censorship is important to keep people safe,” said licensed counselor Angela Pham to WLS-TV.
“The conspiracy theories that are happening right now seem to be more dangerous than ever before,” she added.’https://www.theblaze.com/news/twitter-parler-election-censorship?utm_source=theblaze-dailyPM&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Daily-Newsletter__PM%202020-11-11&utm_term=ACTIVE%20LIST%20-%20TheBlaze%20Daily%20PM
