‘A 16-year-old student in Wyoming was arrested and the entire school was placed on lockdown — all because she refused to wear a mask.
Grace Smith, 16, had already been suspended twice from Laramie High School in Wyoming for refusing to wear masks in class.
As the brave student attempted to go to class unmuzzled once again, she was met with police and given a $500 citation. When she was told to leave the school, she refused to comply. At that point, she was handcuffed and arrested.
As the situation unfolded, an announcement over the loudspeaker said that “we are in a lockdown, please stay in your rooms.”
According to a report from RT, Grace will be expelled if she continues to collect suspensions — but the high school junior has no intention of backing down.
“I’m growing up in a country where I’m supposed to have my God-given rights to protect, and they’re being taken away,” she told the Laramie Boomerang. “Everybody has the freedom to wear a mask if they choose, but I believe everybody also has the right to not wear a mask if they choose.”
‘Greetings. Now, that I cannot log onto your Facebook page email will have to do.
Firstly, I would like to speak on the Roadmap to Recovery. As my member I would like to know how this roadmap to recovery is much different than what I heard from those who lived in Russia under communism in the 50’s and 60’s? One example is “Travel between Regional areas will be permitted”. Permitted?! How does that statement fit into a democracy? What is the ‘science’ behind how many people can get together one week and the next week another number is put out with no explanation? How did the science change? In the beginning of this Wuhan Flu the word ‘science’ was thrown around like it meant something. In fact, after almost two years of this, one begins to wonder if anyone in the government really knows what true science is? Secondly, I am concerned about this Assisted Dying Bill. The new Premier is allowing a conscious vote on this bill which seems odd. Here we have spent almost two years keeping all those in NSW safe from the virus so politicians can then turn around and vote for those same people they have sought to keep safe from the virus can now die with assistance. Do you see the irony in this? Thank you for reading this. Sincerely,
David C. Bennett’
I don’t anticipate a real answer to any of this but at least this politician knows my opinion (as if he might care) on these issues. I do try to understand how unsaved people look at things but these are elected officials making decisions on issues that affects each citizen. Abortion isn’t even considered an issue by these politicians and voting on assisted dying will be the same. There’s no thought that this person will pass through the door of death and enter what is known as “eternity”. Eternity is where the Creator of this world abides; Isaiah 57:15 For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity…
These politicians do not understand that death is an enemy and not a friend; 1Corithians 15:26.
In the end as a Bible believing Christian I say with John the Apostle, Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
The politician’s say it’s a roadmap to recovery but what they are really doing is just giving back a ‘little’ but not all, the freedoms we had before 2020.
This same politician blocked me from his Facebook page after I commented that this so called roadmap read similar to those communist countries in the fifties. Here are the freedoms these NSW politicians are ‘giving’ the fully vaxxed.
‘There are a number of key changes to the “Re-opening NSW Roadmap”, which will see fully vaccinated adults enjoying more freedoms from next Monday 11 October.
Aren’t they good to us? NSW Australia is apartheid vaccine segregation! One virus has taken a once free nation and turned it into a 1950’s Russia! Will this totalitarianism ever cease? I don’t think so. Once these political fascists’ get the taste of blood they go for more, not less.
New Zealanders should be worried. Their ‘leaders’ are leading them down a path of destruction but there are those who still believe in freedom and true liberty.
‘It’s been a long day, and I reflect drowsily as I lay back in my seat on the Bluebridge Cook Strait ferry. I think about the last 18 months of COVID19 madness and what lies ahead for us all. I have 4 hours to think as I head back to the North Island. This was the first day of level 2 after enduring another lock down which encompassed both the South and North Island even though there was no COVID in the South Island. I had managed to quickly score a booking on the Interislander ferry having spent a month locked down in Nelson.
We had been in Christchurch meeting with party members and other various groups and had raced back to Nelson as lockdown was announced. Christchurch was wonderful, a vibrant new city since the earthquake, full of evening functions, restaurants and even the New Brighton hotpools where we enjoyed a soak with hundreds of others. Life had returned to normal for most. Even businesses were beginning to feel confident they could rise to the challenges of the future. But the government changed all that in one announcement, all that hope and longing for a normal life as enjoyed in the past was erased in a few minutes. Overnight they effectively used the police to stomp out any opposition, resulting the next day in a number of activists being jailed, an absolutely draconian reaction and not the ‘appropriate’ action promised in the legislation.
You couldn’t wish for a better place to be locked down than Nelson, but what you can do during lockdown is pretty limited. I did go fishing during level 4 because I read the law and it said you could, so long as it was from the shore. Scrutinized and scorned by passers by who seem to have a different understanding of the law brought about by their blind belief that everything printed in the paper is correct. Just like the police telling people they must only recreate locally and by walking only, even though it clearly says in the hurriedly passed regulations that you can drive to your recreation. Many people these days don’t dare speak out, for alternative beliefs or truths are disregarded and discredited, and the present government is working away at that with their new hate speech laws. From what I read of that proposed bill, just feeling aggrieved or insulted is enough to trigger the new law. Many people just keep their head down and I don’t blame them. They have mortgages and families to worry about, I appreciate it is a lot easier when you are retired or independent. This whole COVID19 thing and the over reaction to it has destroyed our wonderful country and I contemplate what we need to do now to allow us to move forward. I don’t believe it could ever be as it was again. My age has allowed me to live 72 years in peace and prosperity but what does the future hold for the next generation and for our country. As the leader of a small, largely ignored, political party my whole being is turned towards answering the question. What next??
Who would have ever thought a Labour Government would lead our country into a wasteland of hopelessness, destroying our very way of life. They have locked us into a succession of rules and orders that are increasingly unpopular such as mask wearing, tracking our movements, narking on your fellow countrymen, water reforms, confiscation of land under Significant Natural Area legislation, even stopping us from collecting rainwater without a permit, confiscating regional water supplies paid for by local rates, confiscating our firearms. I could go on with many other issues seen as invasive and divisive to do with youth and families or such dramatic chances as the He Puapua proposals. This government has become extremely unpopular as they move further away from government for the people and towards their own agenda of authoritarian rule. While we run around in a pickle like headless chooks trying to react to a barrage of legislative proposals that keep coming one after another, our society is failing on many fronts. People are homeless and hungry, people feel helpless as jobs disappear and small businesses fail, and it becomes harder to pay the mortgage on the house or the farm. All of this because of a ‘novel infectious agent’ causing the government to panic and forcing us into lock downs and MIQs. They refused to listen to other views or opinions and there were plenty of experts who did not agree with the Government’s direction. Opposing advice to the government narrative was not just ignored, it was attacked. The Labour Government’s arrogance and attitude to anyone with an opposing view is appalling and never seen in this country before.
How on earth do we move on and how can the NZ Outdoors Party contribute to restoring our caring egalitarian society? What can a small party do? Well, at least we can put forward another plan, laying out our vision. At least we can be constructive and open about what we want to do. Firstly we need a prime minister who is a leader, who brings the people along on the journey with them to rebuild and reunite the country. We need a leader who looks after NZ and its people first and resigns globalism to the history books. We would still want to be good world citizens, but we need to concentrate on us for a change as we can’t be good global citizens if we are “unwell” as a country. The first thing I personally would do is make our co leader Sue Grey, Prime Minster. She is extremely popular and has the skills and ability to bring people together for the common good. She has no global ambitions of grandeur or fame, just loves her country and way of life. We also need a team of everyday people who understand people and their responsibility to the people they represent and we have that team coming forward every day offering help and expertise. We have innovative policies and initiatives to bring the process of re-creating a country that we all are proud of and can live in without poverty. We, in the NZ Outdoors Party, see localism as part of the solution, as communities take back the local initiative from central Government and begin to look after themselves. Responding to local issues from within the community where we have the brains and practical experience of life to solve local problems. At present we have a top down authoritarian rule which has characterized this current Labour government. We need less central government of the sort we have now, full of career politicians who have never experienced the realities of life outside of parliament and are protected by its cocoon of income, security, perks and fame. So, how do we achieve this when we have large political parties who rort the system to ensure their own survival? They suck huge sums of money from the public purse while small parties like ours get nothing. They use the privilege of parliament to send out newsletters to all their constituents, they use parliamentary money to buy Facebook and Google ads, they use that same money to broadcast radio ads and, in the case of Labour, just pump tens of millions of dollars into the Press on the proviso they will not rock the party line. We, and many others, see the Labour Party as finished at the next election. We hear the voice of the people because we are not surrounded by a cocoon of political advisers, all telling the government what it wants to hear. I believe we hear the voice of the people. It is angry and tired and desperately in need of change. I am reminded of the words of that great song from Les Miserables ” Do you hear the people sing? Singing the song of angry men? It is the music of the people who will not be slaves again! When the beating of your heart Echoes the beating of the drums. There is a life about to start. When tomorrow comes!” So when tomorrow comes, what do we do? Does the opposition have the solution? The word emanating from the noise of the crowd is that they are just one and the same and will not provide the essential changes needed to put this country on a calm, safe course. I believe the only people with a solution is the NZ Outdoors Party. Not because we have all the answers, because we don’t, but we have a wealth of ordinary people with a passion to do right by their fellow countrymen. That’s a pretty good start. We need to peel back so much of government’s intrusion into our daily lives. Unity and freedom; we must combine both to enrich our lives. Even though we present on the ballot papers each election most voters have never heard of us. Our only source of publicity is strangled. The media ignore us, the polls ignore us and even social media ban our advertising. Our only hope is for people to spread the word for us as the media will not do it. If every person who believes our message, tells another ten people, then we can start to make an impact. We can all make an effort and be determined not to be swayed by the lies and deceit that is born of the election process, the promises and bribes. That cartoon could never be truer where the young girl asks “do all fairy tales begin with ‘once upon a time’?” and her brother answers, “No, every three years they begin with “If elected I promise…..””
Let’s not be swayed by the startups that come along at the last minute having done no yards on the track. They are sent out like attack dogs by the incumbent parties to disrupt and scupper any small party that is gaining traction. It is all about self-preservation and nothing to do with what is right for the people or the country.’https://www.outdoorsparty.co.nz/our-country-is-in-a-pickle/
‘Jessica Berg Wilson, a 37-year-old stay-at-home mother from Washington, was a healthy and vibrant woman who passed away suddenly on Sept. 7. According to Jessica’s obituary, doctors diagnosed her with vaccine-induced thrombotic thrombocytopenia (VITT).
VITT is a rare, and sometimes fatal, blood-clotting condition triggered by COVID vaccines.
In an exclusive interview with The Defender, Tom Wilson, Jessica’s husband, and Thomas Ivancie, her uncle, said Twitter’s fact-checkers — who have never spoken with their family to verify Jessica’s story — affixed “misleading” and “misinformation” labels to her obituary.
Because of the Twitter labels, people couldn’t interact with Jessica’s obituary, or share the story.
On Aug. 29, Jessica went to a Seattle pharmacy to get her COVID vaccine and was told she would be receiving the Johnson & Johnson (J&J) shot. Jessica had no underlying health conditions, her husband said.
Jessica was “vehemently opposed” to taking the vaccine, “considering her stay-at-home mom status, state of good health and young age in conjunction with the known and unknown risk of an unproven vaccine,” Wilson said.
But Jessica was pressured to get the vaccine due to a vaccine mandate at their child’s school requiring “room moms” who wished to serve in the classroom be fully vaccinated.
According to Ivancie, Jessica became ill after receiving J&J’s vaccine, and went to the emergency room at UW Medical Center.
Ivancie said Jessica had been vaccinated and was suffering various severe symptoms. But attending doctors insisted on giving Jessica a COVID test and sent her home. They did not pursue any other treatment.
Once at home, Jessica lost consciousness and was taken by ambulance to UW Medical Center in Seattle, where doctors diagnosed her with VITT, Ivancie explained. A team of doctors worked to relieve pressure on Jessica’s brain, but ultimately, it was too late.
As a young mother, Jessica was a dedicated listener to Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s “RFK, Jr. The Defender” podcast. She was well-informed about COVID vaccines and adamantly opposed to getting the injections, Ivancie said.
“Jessica died as a direct result of an experimental vaccine — a vaccine that she vehemently opposed taking. Jessica felt coerced. She felt robbed of her ability to choose. Her ability to say ‘no’ — to say no to a medical procedure she did not want — was taken from her.”
Her obituary said:
“During the last weeks of her life, the world turned dark with heavy-handed vaccine mandates. Local and state governments were determined to strip away her right to consult her wisdom and enjoy her freedom.
“Her passion to be actively involved in her children’s education — which included being a room mom in her child’s classroom — was, once again, blocked by government mandate.”
Jessica’s husband said he received Pfizer’s vaccine “several months back” because his work involved traveling and being around a lot of people.
“It was best for our family that I got the vaccine,” Wilson said. But Jessica was “in a limited bubble as a stay-at-home mom, was of a young age and was concerned about the unproven nature of these vaccines.”
“She didn’t feel it was needed for her,” Wilson said. “But then as the mandates came out, Jessica and those mothers who are very very involved in their children’s lives — she wanted to be involved in every step of their lives. That was her main priority, her kids.”
In a memorial to his wife, Wilson wrote:
“Ultimately, this one-size-fits-all government policy cost Jessica her life, my children their mother, me my forever love and resulted in the loss of a very special person who touched many and was just making her dent felt on this world.”
Wilson told The Defender:
“My view on this whole story is — I want the world leaders to take notice because Jessica’s life is irreplaceable. There was a high value on her life and what she did for our family and for others. She touched a lot of people and there’s no replacing Jessica.
“I just hope that those people who are in control, who are setting these mandates at the top, are listening to her story and how we can protect the next Jessica from having to take this vaccine should they not think it’s necessary for them.”
Wilson said physicians at the hospital “100%” recognized she had a vaccine adverse event and told him they reported it to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) managed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Jessica’s VAERS report was entered into the agency’s system on Sept. 8. Her VAERS ID number is 1683324. Her family to date has not been contacted by any government officials.
Twitter censors Jessica’s obituary attributing her death to J&J’s vaccine
The tribute, published by The Oregonian, said the mother of two died from “COVID-19 vaccine-induced thrombotic thrombocytopenia.” It was marked as “misleading” by the social media giant over the weekend, according to Twitter users.
Twitter fact-checkers put a “misleading” label on Jessica’s obituary and prevented people from replying to, sharing or liking the tweet.
The fact-check warning was removed by Twitter on Monday morning following the backlash.
Wilson said he’s not on social media, but said he was disgusted when he learned from others that his wife’s obituary was being censored by big tech companies for being “misleading” or for containing “misinformation.”
Ivancie said he also received reports that Facebook was censoring Jessica’s obituary, and confirmed the family had not been contacted by fact-checkers from either tech company to verify Jessica’s story.
Ivancie said, “When you can’t have the truth come out, you’re thwarting people’s ability to make decisions. It is scary how these entities have the power to censor.”
Ivancie said it feels like a second death — a death of the truth at the hands of these massive powerful entities. “Imagine if we had a free and open exchange of truth, how this could change the narrative for others,” Ivancie said.
“We aren’t telling people not to get vaccinated,” Jessica’s husband said, “that’s not what we’re doing. We want people to understand Jessica’s story and her right to choose, and in her mind, she had no choice in the matter with all these mandates.”
“We’re just hoping people in these positions of power setting these mandates will listen to our story,” he said.
Rebel News’ ‘Sydney Fizzard was on scene at Without Papers Pizza in Calgary, Alberta, where police seized picnic tables the restaurant had placed outside its front doors following the owner’s refusal to enforce the city’s vaccine passport policy.’
‘As we survey the current political, social and cultural landscape of Australia, we see that this pandemic has perhaps irrevocably changed who we are as a people and a nation.
Our national anthem boasts that “we are one and free”. However, the reality is we are anything but “one and free” right now.
The nation is as divided as we’ve ever seen it, not just with State borders closed so tight that it almost seems like you need a visa to get into parts of your own country but Australians are attacking other Australians on the basis of whether or not they’ve had a medical procedure that has only been provisionally approved by the Therapeutic Goods Administration.
And “free”? What, with lockdowns, curfews, restrictions on gatherings, vaccine mandates for work, vaccine mandates for shopping, restrictions on GPs prescribing treatments, restrictions on leaving and entering the country? To paraphrase Darryl Kerrigan of The Castle, “you’ve got to be dreaming!”
Veteran journalist Chris Uhlmann summed up the situation in an opinion piece a few months ago. I want to quote the article at length because it is the best analysis I’ve read that so aptly describes the collective insanity that has captured our country:
So conditioned by fear are Australians to accepting the notion that COVID-19 is equivalent to the plague, the majority have learned to love Big Brother and hate dissenters…
… our pursuit of the fool’s errand of COVID Zero has seen us level every liberty, destroy educations and livelihoods and shut ourselves off from the world.
… it took us 230 years, but we finally managed to perfect the prison colony. We have even invented a perverse new “Covese” lexicon where “freedoms” are not rights, but gifts bestowed by premiers and where the police complain of “illegal family gatherings”.
Among the most depressing aspects of this supine acceptance of rank authoritarianism is the role of the media. Much of it has become a cheer squad for the blunt instrument of lockdowns and a moral hall monitor that polices thought crimes. The same organs that ritually hyperventilate about the detention of asylum seekers are the loudest voices in advocating imprisoning entire states.
Some lockdown fetishists appear to be planning to make shutdowns a lifestyle. There are sage warnings from “experts” not to pin our hopes of liberation on high rates of vaccination, for their perfect future to be realised restrictions must be as endemic as the disease.
This is Wuhan syndrome. The Economist has noted that the only countries persisting with a COVID elimination strategy are islands and dictatorships. We are now both.
Uhlmann’s assessment is not just the rantings of someone fed up with being stuck at home for too long. He’s actually got history and a lot of quality academic research on his side. The concept of mass psychosis and its connection with the rise of totalitarian regimes has long been studied by experts such as Carl Jung, Joost Merloo, Hannah Arendt and Frank Furedi to name but a few. In fact, the phenomenon has even been studied in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic. In the study COVID-19 and the Political Economy of Mass Hysteria, researchers concluded:
Negative information which is spread through mass media repetitively can affect public health negatively in the form of nocebo effects and mass hysteria. We argue that mass and digital media in connection with the state may have had adverse consequences during the COVID-19 crisis. The resulting collective hysteria may have contributed to policy errors by governments not in line with health recommendations…
Unfortunately, once a mass hysteria takes hold of the government, the amount of damage the hysteria can inflict to life and liberty surges as the state’s respect for private property and basic human rights is limited. The violation of basic human rights in the form of curfews, lockdowns, and coercive closure of business has been amply illustrated during the COVID-19 crisis.
We have seen periods of mass insanity before, including during the infamous witch hunts in Europe and the United States that occurred in the 16th and 17th centuries, and in many nations that devolved in despotic regimes throughout the 20th century.
In his seminal work, The Rape of the Mind, the aforementioned Merloo noted:
… the totalitarian systems of the 20th century represent a kind of collective psychosis. Whether gradually or suddenly, reason and common human decency are no longer possible in such a system: there is only a pervasive atmosphere of terror, and a projection of “the enemy,” imagined to be “in our midst.” Thus society turns on itself, urged on by the ruling authorities.
A very informative animated explainer by After Skool on this concept can be found in the YouTube video below. I challenge you to watch it and see whether or not the concepts and conclusions it comes to around mass insanity are not relevant to the world and, sadly, country we live in today.
So the question is: what do we do about it?
I am by no means any sage that can point us out of this mess but, as you might have seen at the end of the After Skool video, other great minds have contemplated such questions in different eras where the many seem to have fallen for a delusion, which can also be termed The Lie.
It seems then that there are five key steps to defeat The Lie:
Get your own life in order and live free of The Lie.
Spread the truth to counter The Lie.
Ridicule the Elites who are behind The Lie.
Join a movement that fosters a culture of truth within a society that is dominated by The Lie. (This is exactly what I am attempting to do with the Nation First newsletter.)
Peaceful action by as many people as possible who have not succumbed to The Lie.
