Is free speech for some but not for all?

The following is an email received this morning.
“Freedom of speech received a huge blow today as Tommy Robinson was sentenced to 18 months in prison for publishing a political documentary called “Silenced”. He is expected to serve nine months.
Click here for a video update I filmed outside of court today:

After a short hearing, Justice Jeremy Johnson immediately delivered a lengthy sentence, appearing to be reading from a prepared script on his computer. The judge said he wanted to apply the maximum sentence of two years to Tommy, but there were certain rules that required the time to be reduced somewhat, such as Tommy’s decision to not contest his guilt.
Tommy was immediately taken away to Belmarsh prison, the most notorious prison in the UK, a high-security facility filled with terrorists and murderers. Tommy will be held in solitary confinement there, as the British prison system is controlled by Islamic prison gangs, and were Tommy in the general population, he would surely be attacked. Nine months in solitary confinement is an extremely unusual sentence, as it is generally considered to be a form of psychological torture, and many jurisdictions no longer permit it for that period of time. Tommy was not convicted of a crime; he is being held for civil contempt, yet he is being held in a prison for murderers.
Tommy’s defence lawyer, barrister Sasha Wass, KC, pointed out that unlike many cases of contempt of court, Tommy was not self-serving — he didn’t lie under oath, commit perjury or otherwise try to slyly benefit himself. The “contempt” in this case was publishing an investigative documentary into a matter of public interest. That made the sentence even more shocking: in the UK, the government is now the final arbiter of what’s a fact and what isn’t, and a prison term awaits for those who are off-side.
A lot has been said in recent weeks about the UK’s lurch towards a two-tier justice system. Today’s punitive sentence is just the latest example of that — and it serves as a warning to anyone who would dare to criticize the government’s agenda. If they can jail Tommy Robinson, they can jail you, too. It’s an attempt to scare citizens into silence.”
As Hamas and Hezbollah seek to destroy the nation of Israel the Australian Federal Government appoints a Special Envoy to Combat Islamophobia! Now, what do you really think this is all about? Near the end of the following pdf put out by the Australian National Imams Council (ANIC) one reads “There is much more work to be done, including establishing protective laws to guard against religious discrimination and vilification. This includes addressing the heightened levels of distress and anguish being experienced by some many because of the unprecedented suffering in Palestine and Lebanon and the inconsistent responses of political leaders to such suffering.
ANIC looks forward to working with the Special Envoy to identify and address issues of Islamophobia,
anti-Muslim, and anti-Palestinian sentiment.”
AS FOR ME AND MY HOUSE WE SUPPORT ISRAEL!!!!
What Kent Brandenburg writes in the following article is sadly the truth of the reality for all of us living in the West.
This was submitted by the United Australia Party’s Senator Ralph Babet. It is amazing that the USA, UK and Australia are together seeking to limit the free speech of their citizens.
“It’s almost over. One of the bigger stories heading into Election Day is the “gender gap” between the two candidates.
There is speculation this year’s presidential election could see a record gender gap. In polls that show Harris leading Trump, it’s almost always due to the support she receives from women.
Much of the gap comes from single women, actually. And it seems like most people would agree it’s because of the abortion issue. Sadly, this barbaric practice has become the political hill to die on for some women across our country.
If a woman is going to vote solely based on the continued legalized killing of unborn babies, then they’re going to support Kamala Harris. That’s not complicated.
However, outside of that one issue, I struggle to understand why any woman would support Kamala. Most women want safe neighborhoods for their children. That’s not Kamala. Most want a family friendly economy. That’s not Kamala.
Other than abortion, the only reason I can honestly think of that a woman would consider voting for Kamala Harris over Donald J. Trump is this — they put their feelings above facts.
But I wonder if feelings over facts would be so common if men were, well, more manly.
There is no doubt that America has grown softer in the last few generations. The American male — or what it means to be a man in America — isn’t what it used to be. Many men have grown comfortable not being tough, not leading and, well, not being men.
No, in the last few decades I would argue men have grown used to going to work, coming home and watching their favorite sports team and just going about their life. Politics has been left in the trunk — not even the backseat.
Take a look at this. On Sunday, a woman was forced to remove her MAGA hat before entering the stadium at the Arizona Cardinals game. A security worker claimed no political hats or shirts were allowed.
The woman’s husband asked if she took the hat off if the couple could enter the game. The wife threw the hat away so they could attend the game.
“In retrospect, I wish I would’ve stood my ground a little bit, but I wasn’t sure what the repercussions would be,” she said. “My husband would kill me if I did something with the season tickets or jeopardized them somehow.”
Perfect. Per. Fect. I debated sending this newsletter because I wasn’t sold on this topic, and then at 3:30 a.m. that video appeared in my Twitter feed. I took it as a sign this is what I’m supposed to write about.
The woman’s initial instinct was right. But the husband waved the white flag.
Thus, here we are. And the consequences are real. Losing a MAGA hat to the trash may be tragic to some people, but there are worst instances I can think of where men need to step up.
For instance, the gender identity issue. Young boys identifying as girls and young girls identifying as boys…I’ve thought lately how I can understand how a mother may get caught up in the emotions of the moment and go along with it, but I cannot understand how the dad, the person who is ultimately tasked with being that child’s protector and fighter, goes along with it.
How on earth are men out there OK with letting children be experimented on? How are dads just standing by while kids are being medically mutilated? How are those men looking themselves in the mirror every day, knowing they are allowing the worst form of abuse possible to happen to their own child?
I actually think it’s just a simple extension of what we’ve seen from men the last 20 or 30 years across the country — or this past Sunday in Arizona. A withdrawal. A retreat. Avoiding conflict. A surrender.
Women are more nurturing. Men are supposed to be more cognitive. Don’t blame me, that’s according to the Internet. And I believe everything I read here.
Honestly, I don’t blame women for the gender gap. I understand the emotional appeal and arguments of the Democrat Party. But there’s nothing cognitively about those arguments that makes sense to me. And that’s how men are supposed to operate.
We’d better start caring. We’d better start talking. We’d better get engaged in this political world, because whether we like it or not, the political world is engaging us — and our families. Just because we abdicate our responsibilities doesn’t mean they aren’t still ultimately our responsibilities.
Listen, there are plenty of women out there who do put facts above feelings and are cognitively brilliant. Not every women is guided by her emotions (but I’d argue all the liberal ones are…).
Men can do more. We need to do more. As a couple told me at the Clay County Fair, their generation screwed up this country politically and it’s up to us to fix it.
We aren’t going to fix it by giving up. We’re not going to fix it by choosing a football game over freedom of speech.
At a time when they’re trying to trans your kids and kill their political opposition, maybe throwing the hat in the trash to enter a football game isn’t the right move. Maybe the right move is to stand up for your wife, stand up for your freedom, stand up for your family and stand up for your country.
Regardless how it may make someone else feel. Ironically, I think what we need MAMA. We need to Make America Manly Again.”
