‘Nigel Farage is a man who knows how to win elections.
In the 2015 UK general election, his minor party UKIP, secured over 3.8 million votes and 12.6 per cent of the total vote, replacing the Liberal Democrats as the third most popular party.
Farage was a much-maligned Member of the European Parliament for south-east England from 1999, until the United Kingdom’s exit from the EU in 2020.
However, Farage’s global fame comes from his profound success in spearheading the BREXIT campaign during the 2016 European Union membership referendum – a win that foreshadowed the rise of President Trump; the rejection of big government; career politicians; and the new secular religion of the globalist elites defined by Critical Race Theory, climate alarmism, and the imposition of international treaties on sovereign states – regarding everything from energy to land clearing laws.
Now Farage has taken aim at Prime Minister Scott Morrison for “deciding that Australia should become a lot poorer”.
Speaking to Paul Murray on Sky News last week, Farage declared that the “modern Liberal” push towards net-zero emissions will mean “Australia will shut down many of its most important businesses and there will be a really big transfer of money from the poor to the rich in Australia.
“Well done Scott Morrison! You should be really proud,” Farage said.
They’ll come to an agreement and say, because of what we’ve done, we guarantee the temperature will not rise by more than 1.5 degrees. I mean, whether God’s involved in this as well or not, I don’t know; but I guess he must be.
It is utterly ridiculous that they can say that what we do will affect temperatures negatively or positively. We all want a better, cleaner, greener world, period. Of course, we want that to be the case.
I just feel it’s not worth it given the level of alarmism, the current tax structures that have been put on people, the transfer of money from ordinary people to rich globalist businesses, and China which produces 28 per cent of carbon dioxide and are building 100 coal plants won’t be at Glasgow and neither will the world’s biggest producer of natural gas, Russia.
Unless China, India and Russia do something, we are just whistling in the wind.
If it was, then why do the world’s environmentalists lobby for Africans to continue using twigs, dung and leaves for cooking and heating rather than using coal-fired electricity?
Why do the world’s environmentalists believe in locking up vast swathes of bush, resulting in the accumulation of fuel loads that lead to uncontrollable wildfires responsible for the deaths of billions of native animals and the destruction of vulnerable ecosystems?
Why do they support wind turbines and solar panels that can’t be recycled, meaning the waste goes to landfill and toxins leach into our soil and water?
Why do they want us all driving electric vehicles when the cobalt for the batteries is mined by children in the Congo and the nickel is mined in Indonesia and the Philippines, by companies that clear fell tropical forests and destroy soil.
And why do they fly into a climate conference on private jets, when private jets pollute up to 14 times more than a commercial plane per passenger and 50 times more than trains?
The short answer?
To borrow the words of Professor Ian Plimer, this is “about unelected, faceless activists controlling every minute aspect of our lives, transferring wealth from Australia abroad, and financially impoverishing the middle class with the associated losses of freedom and national sovereignty”.
If the Morrison Government doesn’t do something about it before the next election, his colleagues should be packing their bags and preparing to leave Canberra for good…https://www.advanceaustralia.org.au/nigel_farage_says_scomo_has_decided_australia_should_become_a_lot_poorer_after_committing_to_net_zero
Once the Liberal Party of Australia was considered conservative. No longer! ‘The Liberal Party’s increasingly unpopular approach to government can be summed up in a single sentence: “we’re 40 per cent less terrible than Labor and the Greens”. The latest example of many is Morrison’s new electric car policy.
Although Bill Shorten – the bloke who calls angry tradies fed up with lockdowns “man-baby Nazis” – was punished for promising 50 per cent of new car sales would be electric by 2030 at the last election, PM Scott Morrison has decided to go down the very same path.
Instead of a 50 per cent electric vehicle target, this morning ScoMo announced he’d aim for 30 per cent of new sales to be electric vehicles by 2030 (that’s a total of 40 per cent lower than Labor’s 2019 policy).
Morrison promised he’ll spend $250 million on public and household electric vehicle charging, electrifying commercial fleets, and heavy and long-distance vehicles – almost five times more than the $57 million Labor committed to developing an electric vehicle industry.
And when questioned about how similar his electric vehicle policy is to Labor’s, Morrison said “I have a problem with governments telling people what to do and what vehicles they should drive” – even though he has no issue with the state telling people what vaccine to get, what jobs are essential/non-essential, and what farmers should/shouldn’t do with their land.
How short do you think our memories are, mate?
Millions of Australians who voted for you in 2019 remember exactly what you said about electric vehicles.
At the time, you asked 2GB radio’s audience, “What about all these charging stations, how much is that going to cost? I mean if you have an electric car and you live in an apartment, are you going to run the extension cord down from your fourth-floor window?”
At a doorstop you said, “Bill Shorten wants to end the weekend when it comes to his policy on electric vehicles where you’ve got Australians who love being out there in their four-wheel drives… [An electric vehicle] won’t tow your trailer. It’s not going to tow your boat. It’s not going to get you out to your favourite camping spot with your family.”
Attorney-General Michaelia Cash said, “we are going to stand by our tradies and we are going to save their utes” in response to Labor’s policy on electric vehicles.
Even Energy Minister Angus Taylor posted the following on his Twitter page:

This is not the way to run a government, guys, and here’s why:
CEO of energy company Lumea Richard Lowe admits “one electric vehicle, we estimate, consumes about the same electricity as your average household.” In other words, prepare for even higher energy prices after they already went up by over 101 per cent over the last decade.
According to a paper by experts in ecology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and the US Environmental Protection Agency’s National Risk Management Laboratory:
- Half the lifetime carbon-dioxide emissions from an electric car comes from the energy used to produce the car, especially in the mining and processing of raw materials needed for the battery – roughly double the energy used to manufacture a gasoline-powered car.
- This means that when a new EV appears in the showroom, it has already been responsible for 14,250kg of carbon-dioxide emissions (assuming a vehicle life of 150,000km) while the equivalent amount for manufacturing a conventional car is 6,450kg.
- Once on the road, the emissions of electric vehicles depend on the power-generation fuel used to recharge its battery. If it comes mostly from coal, an electric vehicle will produce 17-27 per cent more carbon-dioxide emission than diesel and gasoline cars.
- If the EV is driven for 90,000 miles and the battery is charged by cleaner natural-gas fuelled power stations, it will cause just 10-24 per cent less carbon-dioxide emission than a diesel or gasoline-powered car.
Even worse, there’s net-zero consideration for the fact that:
- All variants of the 2021 Tesla Model 3 are now made in Chinese factories, which are no doubt running on coal-fired power.
- To replace all the sales of conventional vehicles with electric versions, the world will need a 2898 per cent increase in lithium production; a 1928 per cent increase in cobalt; a 524 per cent increase in graphite; a 105 per cent increase in nickel; a 655 per cent increase in rare-earth minerals; a tripling of copper production; and more coal, diesel and gasoline burning to fuel the work.
- “Two-thirds of all cobalt production” – a key component in the manufacturing of electric vehicle batteries – “happens in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC)” where “40,000 children work in extremely dangerous conditions in the mines for meagre income”.
- The mining of lithium in Chile – another key component required for electric vehicle batteries – “uses nearly 65 per cent of the water in the country’s Salar de Atamaca region, one of the driest desert areas in the world … forcing local quinoa farmers and llama herders to abandon their ancestral settlements.”
- The production of nickel for electric vehicle batteries is centred in Indonesia and the Philippines where clear-felling of tropical forests is required to mine the quantities needed for the so-called “green transition” the Liberals now back.
How progressive, ScoMo!
Good luck trying to spin your way out of this one, mate…’https://www.advanceaustralia.org.au/scott_morrison_s_shocking_backflip_on_electric_vehicles?fbclid=IwAR2Aa3MvL0u_siTwlEIpA-iI1O3n55njltwe0P–fTrhgoNln7r1Bq3KyyU
Genesis 8:22 “While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.”

Climate change is a funny thing. Almost any weather-related phenomenon can be said to have been altered over time, and the culprit is usually thought to be man-made CO2. One weather feature much trumpeted as a herald of climate change is the hurricane.
An article on the Science Daily website in November 2019 claimed that climate change was causing hurricanes to be bigger and more damaging. A few days after it was published, the paper was criticized by the environmental scientist, Dr. Roger Pielke Jr.
Pielke showed a number of errors with the alarmist paper. Most of the alarmists’ research concerned economic data rather than physical atmospheric data. Hurricanes were compared by the amount of economic damage that they do, but, clearly, hurricanes today can do more economic damage if industrial and urban areas have grown in recent decades.
Another problem was that the alarmists had used two online datasets that Pielke knew very well because he and a student of his had created them. The alarmists had spliced the two datasets together even though their data were not compatible. Thus, the conclusions drawn from the data were erroneous.
It appears as if alarmists actually want hurricanes to be bigger and more destructive so that they can claim this as “proof” of climate change. However, God’s words are clear. He has promised that seasons will continue to function for all time until He chooses to bring the world to an end. It is God who is in charge of climate.’https://creationmoments.com/sermons/is-climate-change-causing-bigger-hurricanes/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=is-climate-change-causing-bigger-hurricanes&mc_cid=c90a4e01c6&mc_eid=00c1dcff3c
‘‘Hide a knife behind a smile’ is an old Chinese stratagem that explains Xi Jinping’s cynical use of the ‘Net Zero’ agenda to encourage us to self-harm.
An important new paper warns that the ‘Green Growth’ and ‘Net Zero’ policies being championed by the UK before COP26 risk handing geopolitical control to China. The paper, by Gwythian Prins, emeritus research professor at the London School of Economics, who has been involved with climate and energy issues for decades, is published today by Net Zero Watch. Professor Prins explains that the West’s decarbonisation plans are doomed to failure because they attempt to defy the laws of thermodynamics:
The story of civilisation is the story of mankind’s shift from diffuse, high-entropy fuels to concentrated, low-entropy ones. Net zero means trying to do precisely the opposite. Seen in this light, it is clear that Net Zero will fail, and in fact we can already see that it is failing.
But Professor Prins warns that the economic and military weakness that is being built in by the futile attempt to ‘decarbonise’ is a gift to the Chinese communists. He displays the evidence that Beijing has no intention of adopting the ‘green’ agenda. His paper deduces President Xi’s ‘green’ strategy, and shows how environmentalism in the west is facilitating his efforts. Professor Prins said:
We need to wake up. Xi Jinping’s strategy is one of ‘ghost attacks’ in a ‘grey war’, in which Free World ‘net zero’ obsessions have become one of his sharpest weapons. He is quite happy to indulge our fantasies.
But it doesn’t have to be like this. The paper ends by describing a Golden Bridge strategy – one which might lead to a high-energy, clean-energy, ‘China proof’ and economically prosperous future for the Free World.
Professor Prins’ paper is entitled The Worm in the Rose, and is published today by Net Zero Watch. It can be downloaded here.

Notes:
The paper identifies six key fallacies that have led the energy policy debate astray:
- Fallacy One: There is a ‘green’ energy transition
- Fallacy Two: Energy is like other commodities
- Fallacy Three: Energy efficiency will bring nett reductions
- Fallacy Four: Renewables are cheaper than fossil fuels
- Fallacy Five: You can legislate around the laws of thermodynamics
- Fallacy Six: The UK has shown world-leading decarbonisation
It goes on to look at the strategic importance of motive power and the futility of battery electric vehicles, the threat of Chinese dominance, and then spells out thermodynamically and economically competent alternative approaches to a future of clean and abundant energy for all.’https://www.netzerowatch.com/the-worm-in-the-rose/
I remember back in the 70’s the world was said to be cooling and we were in terrible danger of distinction. Petrol prices rose to heights until then unknown. For some reason that lie died down somewhat and global warming became the mantra. That cry then morphed into CLIMATE CHANGE. For some reason that LIE has taken the imagination of almost all of those “leaders” in the West. It seems these “leaders” have only two purposes and those are to ruin their nation’s economy and save the planet. You see, this makes “us” or “them” the Saviour’s and not the Lord Jesus Christ. The United Nations is the Big Wheel in pushing this LIE and we, the serfs, pay for them to promote the LIE. Here’s the latest.
If you didn’t listen to the whole video I understand for I didn’t either. What really gets me is these people can lie like they really believe their LIE! All of these people know what they are saying is a LIE. These people are the embodiment of what we read in 1Timothy 4:2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron. They are out for total control of your and my life. They are the Elite but A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall not escape.

This is the same government led by a professing Christian that was voted in against the Labor Party’s Climate scam. NOW, ‘The Morrison government will pledge $178 million in new funding for charging stations and other technology to encourage the uptake of low-emissions vehicles.
Prime Minister Scott Morrison and Energy Minister Angus Taylor will on Tuesday morning unveil their “Future Fuels and Vehicles Strategy” as part of their recently-made commitment to reaching net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.
An estimated 1.7 million electric vehicles are predicted to be on Australian roads by 2030, reducing emissions by more than eight metric tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent by 2035.
The total volume of greenhouse gas emissions in Australia for the twelve months to March 2021 were estimated to be 494.2 metric tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent, according to federal government data.
The Morrison government intends for charging infrastructure to be installed in more than 50,000 households and for public charging stations to be conveniently accessible for up to 84 per cent of the Australian population.
In a joint statement, Mr Morrison and Mr Taylor said a fund worth a total of $250 million would support business fleets and new technologies for long-distance and heavy duty vehicles.
They said their cleaner cars strategy was expected to result in more than $500 million of combined private and public co-investment and more than 2600 new jobs.
The government says it will fund both public electric vehicle charging stations and hydrogen refuelling infrastructure, leaving the door open for both traditional and hydrogen powered electric cars on Australian roads.
It has promised to co-invest with households on smart chargers, as it works on upgrading the electricity grid and with states and territories to address barriers to low emissions vehicle use.
Mr Morrison said his government’s strategy would encourage consumer choice by reducing the cost of low emissions vehicles, reiterating his oft-repeated line of “technology not taxes”.
“Australians love their family sedan, farmers rely on their trusted ute and our economy counts on trucks and trains to deliver goods from coast to coast,” he said.
“We will not be forcing Australians out of the car they want to drive or penalising those who can least afford it through bans or taxes.”
Electric vehicles became a vexed issue at the last federal election in 2019 when Scott Morrison and then-small business minister Michael Cash attacked Labor over their policy.
Both the Coalition and Labor had policies on electric vehicles but Mr Morrison claimed the opposition wanted to “ram it down the necks of all Australians” because they had a goal of 50 per cent electric cars by 2030.
Mr Morrison accused then-opposition leader Bill Shorten of wanting to “end the weekend” with vehicles that allegedly wouldn’t be able to tow a boat or take a family camping.
The rhetoric reached a fever pitch when Ms Cash declared: “We are going to stand by our tradies and we are going to save their utes”.
The Electric Vehicle Council reported that battery electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles hit a record 8688 sales in the first half of 2021, up from 6900 in the whole of 2020.’https://www.news.com.au/technology/environment/climate-change/prime-minister-scott-morrison-to-unveil-plan-for-more-electric-vehicles/news-story/a2e8dd7f361b8bd82942e42cd4a1a87b
