‘Evolutionary scientists from the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing and several universities in the United States, Italy, and Japan have recently claimed the Earth’s axis tilted about 12 degrees in the Late Cretaceous.1 Geological research at ICR shows that the rocks identified as Cretaceous were deposited about the high water point of the Flood, on Day 150.2 While it is possible the Earth tilted significantly during the Flood year, the evidence for such an event remains extremely ambiguous.
Ever since scientists first started collecting paleomagnetic data that indicated the magnetic poles may have wandered, there has been debate whether or not the poles really moved, or just the rocks themselves moved. The rocks can move because of tectonic plate motion. In addition, the magnetic field of the Earth can also change, further complicating matters and making a unique solution more difficult. There is strong evidence that the magnetic field reversed many times during the Flood year.
Let’s step back a little first. What is paleomagnetic data? It is the remnant magnetic signal preserved in the rocks that tells scientists about the past magnetic field orientation of the Earth. It becomes locked in the rocks at the time of their formation—like a ship stuck in ice. Many rocks contain magnetite, a highly magnetic mineral. When lavas cool and/or sediments are deposited, tiny magnetite minerals can line up with the orientation of the magnetic field of the Earth like little compasses. If the magnetic field changes direction, the minerals will form or be deposited at a new orientation that reflects that change. Essentially, the rocks are able to record the Earth’s past magnetic directions like a magnetic tape recorder.
This latest study, published in Nature Communications, argues changes in the Earth’s tilt is the sole cause of the shift in magnetic orientation in the limestone rocks in Italy.1 This particular limestone has a magnetic signal due to bacterially formed magnetite, resulting in measurable magnetization directions.1
Co-author Sarah Slotznick, a geobiologist at Dartmouth College explains, “These Italian sedimentary rocks turn out to be special and very reliable because the magnetic minerals are actually fossils of bacteria that formed chains of the mineral magnetite.”3
But can we sort out the cause of the changes in magnetic orientation? And are they only caused by a change in the Earth’s tilt? It is highly unlikely we can know for certain. A change in the tilt of the Earth is only one solution. A shift in Earth’s internal magnetic field can give the same global result without tilting outer rocks of the Earth at all. Measuring the paleomagnetic signal in rocks gives us an answer, but it doesn’t tell us the path taken to arrive at that answer.
We encountered this same issue in a paper we published on Pangaea vs. Rodinia.4 We couldn’t determine if the Earth’s surface physically rotated 110 degrees (the tilt) early in the Flood, or if the internal magnetic field of the Earth simply shifted by 110 degrees. Either result gives the same signal in the rocks. Rocks do not record the root cause. In our paper, we concluded it was most likely that the magnetic field shifted direction, not the tilt of the Earth.3 However, we had other independent data (plant fossils that do not grow at high latitudes) to support our conclusion.3
The authors of the present study offered no other kind of data (like fossils) to support their conclusion that the Earth tilted 12 degrees. Paleomagnetic data is too ambiguous without some other type of independent check. Did the Earth tilt during the catastrophic upheaval of the global Flood? Do these rocks in Italy show a tilt occurred? Maybe. Only God knows what actually happened. But we have the Words of Jesus recoded in our Bible. We can be sure there was a global Flood just 4400 years ago that completely changed the surface of our planet, leaving a discernable record in the rocks.2

Now, of course that is from the Bible which many today do not recognize as any authority on almost anything. That’s why some say ‘…there is actually plenty of oxygen on the Moon. See, many seek to bypass the fact that the earth was made for man to inhabit. We have what we need here, including OXYGEN! It’s as Paul wrote in Romans 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.

How old is the universe? Evolutionary scientists talk about how radiometric dating methods prove the universe and the earth are billions of years old. Let’s look at all the methods scientists could use. There are well over 100 methods available! There are thousands of scientists who prefer other methods that offer younger ages for our world and universe.
Those few methods—out of over 100—that evolutionists prefer are not very exact. Sometimes evolutionists will actually get a negative age for something using one of their preferred methods. In other words, the same method that shows that some object is a billion years old may show that some other object doesn’t even exist yet!
The fact is, more dating methods prove, just as scientifically, that the world is less than 500 years old than prove it is more than a billion years old. Of over 100 methods we know of— giving results of anywhere from 100 years to billions of years— 15% of all methods give a date of between 6,000 and 10,000 years for the age of the universe. That is a very powerful statistical argument for a young creation!

‘Space is full of mysteries. Those who think that the universe is millions or billions of years old have more mysteries to solve than Bible-believing Christians do.
One of these is the mystery of a star named Sirius B. This mystery is so great for evolutionists that it was one of the main topics of discussion at a scientific symposium at Louisiana State University in 1978.
Records of Egyptian astronomers dating back to 2,000 BC describe Sirius B as a red star. The Roman senator Cicero, writing in 50 BC, also said Sirius B was red. And Seneca described Sirius as being redder than Mars. And in 150 AD, Ptolemy, one of the most famous astronomers in history, listed Sirius as one of the six red stars.
There can be no question that Sirius was red. Today, Sirius B is a white dwarf star. That’s a problem because according to modern evolutionary astronomy, it should take at least 100,000 years for a red giant star to collapse into a white dwarf star.
The mystery of how the red giant Sirius became a white dwarf in less than 2,000 years was, and still is, the topic of hot debate. Sirius B calls into question the most basic theories about the supposed evolution of the universe. ‘How old is the Earth? If we rule out scriptural history, we are limited to determining the age of the Earth from appearances. Appearances can be deceptive.
Let’s say I wanted to compare the amount of dissolved aluminum in the oceans with the rate at which it is being delivered to the oceans by rivers. Using this method, I could prove that the Earth is only about 100 years old! You would doubt my results if I told you that. I could respond by checking how much iron is dissolved in the oceans and how long it would have taken the rivers to deliver it. This time I can prove that the Earth is 140 years old.
That’s one of the problems with trying to work out the age of the Earth without a guide. There is no shortage of information and methods. In fact, there is so much information that you can’t tell the sense from the nonsense!
Today, evolutionists say that they know the Earth is about 4.5 billion years old. Back in 1900, they were sure that the Earth was between 400 and 500 million years old. Fifty years before that, they were very sure that the Earth was between 400,000 and 500,000 years old. In the last two centuries, scientists have been positive about ages for the Earth that differ by over 1,000%!
Does this sound confusing? It is. One cannot help reaping confusion when one rejects what the Bible says. ‘We’re living in strange times, and if you believe the Covid-19 vaccination programme is working because the authorities on the television tell you that it is, then you must surely find it extremely strange that the UK is in the middle of a third wave in the middle of summer? Especially when you consider that in summer 2020 Covid-19 deaths flat-lined to zero even though a Covid-19 injection was not available.
But the strangeness doesn’t end there, just take a look at the latest Covid-19 Statistical Report released by Public Health Scotland (PHS) on the 8th September 2021.
The report provides an array on data on testing, quarantining, vaccinations, cases, hospitalisations, and deaths but it doesn’t get very interesting until you read Table 15 which covers the number of Covid-19 positive cases by week and vaccination status.
Interesting because it shows that the majority of confirmed cases are now among the vaccinated population. In the most recent week from 28th August to 3rd September 2021 the report shows that there were 20,744 confirmed cases among the unvaccinated population, who are more likely to be tested for the simple reason they have not been vaccinated.
But it also shows that there were 5,508 confirmed cases among the partly vaccinated population, and 16,810 cases among the fully vaccinated population – two populations who are least likely to be tested due to be being vaccinated.

Much of the dust in our everyday lives is nothing more than tiny particles of skin, clothing, carpeting – just pieces of everyday life floating in the air. Studies of dust particles reveal that most dust is soil. However, a second common dust – even a thousand miles from the sea – is salt, driven into the wind by the waves. This salt helps form the clouds that bring us rain. The next most common forms of natural dust are volcanic eruptions and forest fires. Transatlantic winds pick up the dust of the Sahara and sweep it across the ocean where enough of it lands in Miami to sometimes give the rain a light pink color.
Not only does your home have dust from all over the world, there’s probably also some from outer space. Ten thousand tons of disintegrating meteorites and comets rain down on the Earth every year. You can even identify some of this dust by running a magnet through the dust in a rain gutter. Most of the magnetic particles that stick to the magnet are probably from space. In addition, some dust is alive, made up of pollen, fungus spores and even dormant bacteria, hoping to land on a good place to grow.
