So, you too thought it was government’s place to chiefly protect and provide certain services for its citizens. Well, you were wrong, as I was. In the Australian state of Victoria they see it also is their job as a state government ‘…to help shape the state’s equality agenda for years to come, with the opening of public consultation on the Victorian Government’s first ever whole of government LGBTIQ strategy.
Over the past five years, the Victorian Government has created a more inclusive Victoria by reforming legislation to remove discrimination, building the Victorian Pride Centre and providing strong support for and investment in LGBTIQ organisations, community events and festivals.
Minister for Equality Martin Foley today announced the Victorian Government is now looking to the future with the opening of a public consultation process to develop Victoria’s first ever whole-of-government LGBTIQ strategy.’

You might think Ms Berejiklian has ordered the NSW public service to be working around-the-clock on health protection and job creation, leading the nation in economic recovery. There will be something much more creative, perhaps rhyming with virus. A New Universal Sexuality has a certain ring to it. On the serious side, it’s hard to believe this is the Premier’s priority. What an arrogant indulgence, to have our public servants using their work-time on pointless identity politics. It’s a slap in the face for every person in NSW who has lost their job or lost their business. When Gladys says its “all about jobs” what she really means is that, under her government, public servants with guaranteed jobs couldn’t care less about private sector jobs. Tuesday’s indulgence is made worse by the preponderance of these identity units already. In the NSW Planning Department, for instance, they have an existing LGBTIQ Network, a Harmony Council, Diversity and Inclusion Council, Aboriginal Cultural Team and Australian Diversity Council membership (the wacky outfit trying to enforce David Morrison’s ban on the word ‘guys’ in the workplace). The Planning Department is headed by Jim Betts, one of the speakers on Tuesday, who is obsessed by this stuff. His real job should be to fast-track and approve development and employment-creating projects in NSW, but seemingly, he spends more time on Diversity than Economic Growth. The NSW Government says it’s going deep into deficit, but in June, as part of Betts’ empire building, he advertised for a Manager, Diversity and Inclusion Strategy in the Planning Department on $164,000 pa. The Government’s policy is ‘No pay rise for NSW police officers or paramedics’ but they have money for this position, designated to work with the Harmony and Diversity Councils. There is no peer-reviewed academic study anywhere in the world showing that ‘Diversity’ improves staff productivity and output. It’s mostly a McKinseys invention to make money from their consultancies. You will see in the picture for Tuesday’s event, people holding up the slogan ‘Reflecting our Communities’. This is the argument NSW Ministers put for this rubbish agenda: our public service must look like the community it serves. At Budget Estimates, I asked Treasury officials (who have also drunk the Diversity Koolaid) how many homeless, unemployed people or public housing tenants they have recruited to be ‘Reflecting Our Communities’ and they said none; they contact the poor in NSW by talking to NCOSS (the social welfare peak body). How pathetic. I asked Betts’ Minister Rob Stokes the same question on the Notice Paper, and he said they don’t collect that kind of employment data. So it’s a Selective Diversity and Inclusion policy: only benefiting the sexuality groups that matter to Betts, not the poor and disadvantaged in NSW. Gay or transgender? You’re in the loop. Unemployed or a public housing tenant? Forget about it. The Left complain about ‘colonisation’ but under the likes of Betts, the NSW Public Service has been colonised on the basis of sexuality. The LGBTIQWTF community is 2-3 percent of the NSW population, yet receives red carpet treatment in the ‘Inclusion’ agenda. Poor people are 10 percent of NSW and they don’t get a look in. Premier Berejiklian has not only personally endorsed this agenda, but taken it further. After last year’s election, she issued ‘Premier’s Priorities’ for female and Indigenous employment quotas in the public service (even though women already make up two-thirds of that workforce).NSW has special employment programs for women, Aborigines and refugees but not early school leavers, the homeless or public housing tenants. The Left-wing Public Service Commission runs special taxpayer-funded ‘diversity’ training sessions for staff, including the zany notion of ‘unconscious bias’ – that we have voices in our heads telling us to discriminate against people. By this system, a white male public housing tenant in NSW, who wants nothing more than to be treated equally and have a fair chance of getting a public service job, is not only discriminated against in NSW Government employment processes. But if he did fluke a job with them, he then has to go to training sessions telling him he’s the one who is racist, sexist and homophobic. We need to understand the sickness of what’s going on here. Ruling elites like Berejiklian and Don Harwin (the NSW Minister for the Public Service) have constructed a system that not only discriminates against people not like them (male and straight) but then justifies it by blaming the victims of the identity discrimination they created. The madness and bias goes further. Jim Betts is also a member of the NSW Construction Industry Culture Standard Committee, which is drawing up new guidelines for construction companies wanting to win contracts from the NSW Government (new schools, hospitals, roads etc). He’s insisting on companies displaying ‘gender equity’ in their employment policies, even though not many women see a career on (dangerous) construction sites; plus an end to workplace ’sexism’ such as ‘girlie pictures’ in the men’s change rooms. Otherwise the companies won’t be eligible to tender for NSW Government projects. It’s another personal self-indulgence. The NSW Budget is going into heavy deficit and all that matters is value for money – the cost effectiveness of tenders, not Betts’ identity political obsessions, costing companies and taxpayers money for no gain in the efficiency of the construction projects. The best job creator in NSW, one single decision that would help massively? Sack Jim Betts. This is what the NSW Coalition Government has come to: obsessed with LGBTIQ units and ‘girlie pictures’ on the walls of building sites, rather than professional, efficient public service outcomes for the people of NSW. More time and funds should be spent for roads, coal fire powered plants, police, hospitals etc. and NOTHING on sexual identity!
The New South Wales (NSW) Coalition government is supposedly a conservative government but what this government does or allows certainly shows it to be anything but conservative. In education the NSW government has dropped the ball. For instance ‘As society changes, the issues we face in early childhood change. Things we may have never thought of impacting on our work, now do. Things like sexuality and gender.
Our services are now working with children who identify with a different gender, with same sex parents, with openly gay and lesbian educators. And, importantly how we deal with these issues are part of the National Quality Standard!
But how do we learn about them? We now know a lot more about gender and sexuality than we probably did when you studied at Uni or TAFE. But, till now, there has never been a course where you could learn about things such as:
• how to do inclusion right for children and families of all genders and sexualities • what the I in LGBTI+ actually means • unknowing discrimination of children and families • rainbow families • heterosexual, lesbian, and, gay educators
But now there is.

Are these the things a normal parent would wish to have taught to their child/ren? If your not just a bit angry at what you have read above then quit reading. There is NOTHING quality about what this course is teaching. Where are the politicians?

Personally, I had never heard of this man, Matthew Paul Turner, a ‘Christian’ author who has now come ‘…out as gay today on Facebook and Instagram and announced that he and his wife, fellow writer Jessica Turner, are divorcing.
Matthew Paul Turner is the former editor of CCM, a magazine covering contemporary Christian music, but he is best known for his rhyming children’s books published through Convergent, an imprint of Penguin Random House. His 2019 book “When I Pray for You” is a Today, Publisher’s Weekly and Wall Street Journal bestseller with more than 100,000 copies in print.
“(A)s someone who spent 30+ years in fundamentalist/evangelical churches, exploring God through conservative theologies, I’ve lived many days overwhelmed by fear, shame, and self-hatred,” Turner wrote in a Facebook post. “But for the first time in my life, despite the sadness and grief I’m feeling right now, I can say with confidence that I’m ready to embrace freedom, hope, and God as a gay man.”
Jessica Turner also shared a Facebook post this morning. “We are moving forward with ending our marriage, while remaining deeply committed to our family and each other,” she wrote. “We are all adjusting to a new normal, with our home now extended under two rooftops.”
The two were married in 2004 after meeting online and quickly bonding over their interest and involvement in CCM. The couple now has three children.
“I fell in love with her 17 years ago and still love her deeply,” Turner wrote. “Despite her own grief and pain, she has loved and encouraged me to be fully me.” The couple lived in Nashville, Tennessee, with their three children.
There is that slippery slope which the West is rushing down to its own demise. For instance, making so-called same-sex marriage legal was not the beginning down the slide but it certainly gave a BIG push! Therefore, ‘Let me totally clear at the outset. One of the purposes of this article is to say, “I told you so!” Or, more precisely, many of us have been predicting this moment for years. As reported in the New York Times, “A Massachusetts City Decides to Recognize Polyamorous Relationships.
The city of Somerville has broadened the definition of domestic partnership to include relationships between three or more adults, expanding access to health care. Is anyone really surprised?
After all, if the winning mantras of the same-sex “marriage” movement have been “Love is love” and “Love wins” and “I have the right to marry the one I love,” why limit that number to two? Isn’t that discriminating against love? Isn’t that simply carrying over the outdated, outmoded, limiting ways of the past?
To this day, in all my dialogue and debate with LGBTQ activists and their allies, I have yet to hear a reasonable explanation of why marriage should be limited to two people if any two people can marry. Why limit the union to two people? Based on what? All the solid arguments for limiting marriage to two people are, ultimately, arguments for marriage being the union of a male and a female. All other arguments fall short. Very short. (For a glaring illustration, see here.)
When it comes to polyamory, which can include virtually any combination or number of men and women, on what basis should the government not recognize such relationships? Is not love still love? Does not love still win? And is not love the only thing that matters? So the argument goes.
Today, we’re talking about just one city in Massachusetts extending health benefits to polyamorous families. But one city is all that is needed to begin a trend. That’s also why this is national news, even in the midst of an unrelenting, tumultuous news cycle.
As for warning about this for years, polyamory was mentioned frequently in my book A Queer Thing Happened to America, published in 2011, but with research for the book dating back to 2005.
In fact, in the book I drew attention to a polyamory seminar hosted by the Metropolitan Community Churches – obviously, pro-LGBT churches – back in 2005: “Yes, ‘polyamory’ – in other words, having multiple sexual partners (loving, of course!) – was also a topic of discussion at the MCC conference, and church members were encouraged to come out of the closets with their ongoing, multiple sexual relationships.”
Again, this was at a church conference in 2005. And even then, this trend had been building for years. We told you so!
In the book I also quoted polyamorous advocates who marched prominently in gay pride parades, stating, “We’re 30 years behind the gay activist movement.” They probably underestimated the timeline. (On a different but related front, I could point to articles like, “Here Come the Polygamists,” dating back to 2012.)
In my 2015 book, Outlasting the Gay Revolution, I wrote, “Perhaps we should change the wedding vows to sound more like this (with the man speaking here): ‘I take you as my wife, but probably not for life. I take you as my own, but not just you alone. I pledge myself to you, and perhaps to others too. I take you as my bride, although your name is Clyde.’
“Is this really so farfetched? If you can have a bride and a broom, if ‘husbands’ can be women and ‘wives’ can be men, if you can be married and dating and swinging and swapping, if you live together before marriage and end the marriage whenever it suits you best, then what does ‘marriage’ mean?”
Back in 2015, Stephen Colbert mocked the idea of a slippery moral slope when it came to redefining marriage. The reality of the matter, as he likely knew, was that the mocking predictions he made had already come to pass. I illustrated all that in this video. You can mock, but you can’t deny reality. (Take a minute to watch. You’ll be shocked.)
In saying all this, I am not saying that gay couples do not love each other or that gay couples will inevitably become polyamorous throuples and beyond. I’m simply stating the obvious: if two men or two women can “marry,” then there is nothing sacrosanct about the number two. Any potential number will do, as long as the relationships are based on “love.”
Already in March, 2016, Oliver Bateman wrote on Mic.com, “When it comes to marriage, three is still a crowd. But that might be changing sooner than we think. According to a 2015 Gallup poll, a small-yet-growing percentage of Americans report that they find the concept of plural marriage ‘morally acceptable,’ while polyamorous relationships are increasingly receiving mainstream media coverage. A 2014 Newsweek article even estimates that there are more than 500,000 openly polyamorous families living in the United States today.”

Woke companies are supposedly so tolerant. Well, they are for some BUT NOT for all! This is seen in the fact that ‘Last year, the Swedish-based furniture and retail giant, IKEA was sued for after it fired a Christian because he opposed the store’s promotion of LGBTQ activism. You may remember, the employee was pink-slipped after he refused to delete a Bible verse he posted on social media after the company asked him to. Right, there’s no political or anti-Christian agenda in that world-wide corporation.
Or is there?
A German IKEA store was recently noted for loaning its parking lot to a local mosque in Germany where nearly 800 Islamics gathered to pray the annual EID prayer.
Islamic immigration is a world-wide movement where Muslims go into Western society and claim minority status which all too often gives them an advantage over others. So now in the UK there is ‘“A bid to build a 1,000 capacity ‘mega-mosque’ in one of London’s most iconic buildings has been met with a rash of last-minute objections from locals, with concerns citing its close proximity to the city’s world-famous historic gay quarter. The plans submitted to the City of Westminster Council surround the Trocadero building [pictured, above] on Picadilly Circus in London’s cultural hub in the West End. ”

A mega-mosque in a historic gay quarter is odd, given that normative Islam prescribes the death penalty for gays, as well as coverings for women and abstinence from alcohol, but clearly the mosque leadership doesn’t care about the impact on residents.
ISLAMIC LOVE
Westminster City councillor JP Floru said: “This is not a small scale mosque catering for local demand. There are fewer than five per cent of Muslims living in this area, who use small local mosques. Setting up a 1,000 capacity flagship mosque right next to the long-standing gay district of Soho will damage local cohesion…..The area is already heavily overcrowded — imagine adding another 1,000 after Friday prayers — road traffic will have to be stopped. Let’s keep central London for entertainment use, and place new large places of worship where there is local demand for it.”
The Islamic call to prayer (adhan) is also now being blasted on loudspeakers in London during Ramadan, with the stated reason being to comfort Muslims during the coronavirus lockdown. Are Muslim leaders willing to sign a document that the adhan, which declares Islam to be supreme, will not continue once the lockdown ends?
There is a pattern to be noted in what Councillor Floru describes above that relates in general to the demands of leaders of organized Islamic centers, mosques and groups. First, they are presented as demands which are needed, and opposed only by “racists” and the “intolerant.” Demands by these leaders also exceed those of any other group; others generally worship in peace and with consideration for the larger community. Islamic supremacists infringe on the rights and peace of communities (eg. with the adhan); they cause disruption and division, and tearing away at of social cohesion in Western societies. Anyone who opposes them is called “Islamophobic” for doing so.’
